Fuck it I'm gonna blab about another crossover fic i'm working on once i'm done with two souls

I dont care if it takes me years or if this fandom dies out (which it won't, tmnt is timeless)

But anyway.

It's called Pink Puppets, a crossover AU with a similar concept to Dagger From the Mirror (although i havent read it yet cuz i am scared)

It's going to ve reversed this time, with the Rise brothers being older because it's set after the movie and the 2012 boys remaining 15 years old (so kinda the same age as Mikey in the movie)

I was gonna use Draxum but i fell in love with the idiot so now I'm gonna use an antagonist that i had in plan for Two Souls season 3, that's why I was gonna write it after I finish Two Souls.

Basically that antagonist wants to replicate Draxum's warriors themselves, but don't want to go through the lengths to actually start doing it. They idolize Draxu and his beliefs and was angry that Draxum threw it all away to play family.

Kraang Subprime of 2012 gets involved and they discover there's countless of universes out there he can pull tirtles from.

He chose 2012.

It's season 3, a few days or a week from the fourfold trap (Karai escapes and is never seen again) episode and the bous are still about 15. This antagonist sees the brainworm in action and takes some for themselves, takong it home and modifying it before they snatch the brothers right in front of 12 April and 12 Casey.

They get dragged into Rise.

The brothers were imprisoned and one by one, a brainworm is forced into their brains. This is where the AU gets its name, the worms are pink and made the brothers' eyes pink.

The new modified brainworms aren't like Shredder's. It slowly influences the victim, making them the worse versions of themselves and think the antagonist is liek their parent or something, using their emotions against them.

12 Mikey is toxicly positive and brutal. He acts as if everything was just a game, he uses his kusagirama a lot, enjoying maling people bleed. He's dangerous and doesn't realize what he's doing is wrong. He's the new leader of the brainwashed gang, bossing his brothers around and they can't say no because of his little brother charm. He knows to emotionally manipulate people with his looks, which gives him a big advantage.

12 Donnie is a complete wreck. He's a ticking timebomb, he doesn't stop talking, doesn't mind his volume, doesn't care about his own wellbeing. He's destroying himself, he literally ignores his injuries if he gets one. 12 Mikey goes for a playful kill, toying with his victims while 12 Donnie always keeps them alive so he could experiment with them. He also uses his hidden blade a lot. He's twitchy and explodes very easily, making him a hard unpredictable opponent.

Then there's 12 Leo.

In this AU, you would expect his "bossiness" is gonna be the trait that gets amplified to be the worse, no, its his obedience. He's more like a puppet than his brothers. He's silent, completely silent, he never talks under the influence of the modified brainworm and follows every single order his brothers tell him to do. Unlike his brothers that would prolong death as much as possible, he strikes for the neck, immediately. He's basically the trump card, only used when things don't go as planned. He's hollow, emotionless, just a shell of his former self. Dead to the world and control by invisible strings.

What's funny is that despite the fact that their worse traits are amplified, they still love and care for each other. They're fiercely overprotective, they will stop the battle if one of them gets gravely injured, they'll take care of each others injuries.

That overprotectiveness is one of the reasons they still haven't got out of the worm's control, it was used against them.

And don't worry, i didn't forget about 12 Raph.

He escapes.

Remember that Raph centric AU i posted about? Yeah, this is it.

It was supposed to be 12 Mikey in thus position, but he's already got experience with dealing with his brothers turning evil, same goes for 12 Donnie, and maybe 12 Leo but he's the one that's evil, but not 12 Raph as far as I know.

12 Raph hasn't fought his brothers alone before.

Plus he already got a taste of the brainworm, why not fight back against his own fear of it?

So he runs away, stumbles upon the Rise turtles and pushes away his pride, beghing for them to help him save his brothers, and of course they do.

While the 2012 brothers cause chaos for the humans in New York with a subplot of trying to get 12 Raph to their side, the Rise brothers and their friends now have to deal with teens Mikey's age wanting murder and their brother who just wants them back.

This time, the Rise brothers have to be the responsibile older guys and the 12 boys the chaotic little shits.

(Don't worry, everyone is looking for them back in 2012)

- Are there any AUs you weren't familiar with that have recently caught your attention, or that you would like to learn more about?

- What are some AUs/fanworks that you enjoy, and would encourage more people to go check out? (Doesn't have to be in the comp!)

There have been many great works featured, and I wish I could give them all a spotlight since I know how much work everyone puts into their work. I'll highlight a few of my favorites here.

I was made aware of @that-one-dork 's "Vengeance is Yours" fic semi-recently ( what if Shredder actually mutated all the turtles ), and it is superb, I tell you. The prose is captivating and imaginative in a way I can only hope to replicate one day. Please give it a read here if you haven't; it's really well put together and worth your time.

Then there's @lexa-ocean 's "Reptile Ramage" AU. It's got a unique style that's really charming. The turtle designs are fun, expressive, and very silly. I've followed him for a while, but I'll take the opportunity to highlight his work here.

Of course, there are the names you've probably heard of. @cupcakeslushiemakes a ton of great TMNT content. I wish to put her lineart on a sandwich and eat it, it's so expressive I love it. She's also an amazing storyteller, her brainworm Donnie fic has been living casually in my head since it came out.

@tangledinink 's various AUs are also wonderful. I love the way that they play with color; it really helps their unique style stand out. It all pops together so well that I have a hard time describing it, lol.

Uhh yeah. Go read people's stuff. Interact with it. Tell them you think it's good.

IM ALWAYS DOWN TO TALK ABOUT MY SILLY AUS, EVEN IF I HAVENT MENTIONED THEM IN A WHILE !!!

SO... Donatello lore.. 👁👁

Donatello's personality was the hardest for me to really swap, despite the answer seeming very obvious in hindsight.

Donatello in the SG universe still retains his intelligence, but he abuses it for selfish memes and relies on malicious incompetence in order to get his brothers and underlings to do stuff for him. Not because he's lazy or anything, but because he enjoys making people do things for him.

He likes the act of manipulation a lot more than what he gets out of it, if the result is lackluster he fixes it up a bit and takes all the credit, or he uses it to throw someone under the bus.

His biggest flaw is his massive ego, which he feeds by taking advantage of others and getting praised for it.

He's been eyeballing these cool new things called "the brainworms" teehee.. He hopes he can use one on someone. For Science(tm) (ie his own enjoyment)

Bro is... not a good guy, and I'd imagine he'd be very easy to hate if I were to ever write and publish a fic for this AU. He's an ego-centric bully that manipulates and holds his intelligence over his brothers' heads (primarily SG Leo and Raph being his victims, the latter more than the forward.) He gets worse before he gets better, though, I ain't giving this kid a bad ending. It takes a while to get there, though. :^[

He does not have a crush on April, he never got the chance to meet April face-to-face before the main story. The Kraang and Utrom have switched places in this AU as well, so April's story with them changes drastically as a result.

OG Donnie definitely butts heads with his counterpart the *most* out of everyone. The second the OGs and SGs properly meet, it is ON SIGHT between those two... which is part of the reason why it takes so long for SG Donnke to even consider switching sides. The brainwashing and the personality he has are the main factors, but the counterpart beef deffo ain't helping. 💀

The ages haven't been swapped around a lot, with the exception of SG Michelangelo's. SG Mikey spent a few years in Dimension X for a mission once Splinter discovered the time difference, so now Mikey is a few years older than the rest of his brothers. However, the social hierarchy goes Mikey -> Donnie -> with Leo and Raph tied at the bottom. Even if Donnie was still older than Mikey, he would still be in second place. Fun factoid. Lol.

Raphael considers himself to be the prime protector of his family. This led him to earn the most amount of scars out of his brother. Thanks to his DNA composition, his thick scales help him in battle, and then pairing him with armor makes him an absolute tank. He's the most muscular out of the brothers. When Leo isn't around, Raph is always the one to step out to take care of his brothers. He's somewhat self-conscious as he is blind in his right eye from when the brainworm was used on him.

This honestly took me longer than Leo did! And most of it wasn't even dealing with anatomy, it was the instruments that took me the longest. I hope I never have to draw a drum set again if I can help it. I would have put more of his instruments, but I couldn't fit them all on the size canvas that. So not pictured is the electric keyboard, and his acoustic guitar. Feel free to zoom in on this massive canvas! Below the cut are some closeups in case anything is hard to see, along with some extra tidbits of information!

Reforged AU Masterpost

Raph takes his job seriously when it comes to his brother well well-being. He's of course, rough around the edges, but it comes from his fear of not being able to save his brothers. After all, he was there when his father was killed in front of him. He's basically as obsessed with training as Leo is, and he needs to be due to the blindness in his right eye that his enemies attempt to exploit.

Raph has a ton of hobbies when he isn't busy training. He is the one primarily responsible for fixing any of their gear that is made out of leather (Belts, knee pads, pouches, etc.). He is also the one who tests any of Leo's new creations from the forge. He is also a fairly skilled musician and has learned how to play multiple instruments. He writes his own music and Mikey is definitely his biggest fan.

Out of all the brothers, he is the one that wears the most armor, making him a serious threat to any of their enemies (that are still alive anyway).

Bayverse, Donnie POV, second movie AU. To defeat Krang, Leo gets sacrificed to Krang's dimension (yes I am ripping off Rise lmao). The remaining turtles stop at nothing to bring him back, but can't rescue their brother without Krang along for the ride.

ROTTMNT, future Leo POV, post-movie. wify sequel. In which our peepaw has several mental breakdowns, inflicts truly incredible violence on Jr's kidnappers, and finally realises his family loves him unconditionally along the way!

interdimensional

ROTTMNT, OC POV. Two years after being rescued from an evil laboratory and adopted into the turtle family, teenage mutant winter soldier Kestrel finds a lost and lonely yellow robot. He has to help Bee get home to the other Autobots - but really doesn't want his best friend to go.

ROTTMNT, multi POV, post-movie. Raph still has the Krang eye from when he was infected, causing no small amount of stress among the rest of his family. Drama and angst follow as their family breaks apart, and may or may not ever come back together.

is it still you or is it me?

ROTTMNT, Leo and Donnie POV, post-movie. Leo comes back from the prison dimension with a Krang brainworm trying to corrupt him from the inside out. Leo tries to handle it himself until it's too late and Donnie has to race against time to try to save him.

i wish i had more memories with you

Bayverse/ROTTMNT, Bay!Donnie POV, sequel to this family can bear any weather. By the time Nic's fixed the capacitor and can revisit his little brothers from an alternate universe, they're not so little any more. Shenanigans ensue, with a little bit of trauma and a whole lot of love.

reality check

ROTTMNT, future Leo POV, wify-verse. The Joneses go on a two-week-long road trip. Suddenly bereft of Child, Leonardo decides to hop across the multiverse adopting every teen Leo he can find. Tello would like him to put them all back and they are done asking politely (they adopt three).

i've slipped through the cracks between worlds

ROTTMNT, Casey Jr POV, post-s2 pre-movie. Through misuse of mystic powers and timeline shenanigans, Casey Jr ends up the caretaker of the baby versions of the four turtles. And also in the past. Better find the teen turtles before they end the world again... and so they can help babysit.

we were born to be together, torn apart, torn apart

ROTTMNT, multi POV pre-movie. The turtles find out that there were two other turtles created with them, thought lost to the fire in Draxum's lab. Big Mama's daughter is none too happy to have these idiots bothering her, but the other needs a rescue more than anything. Even if he tries to kill them on sight.

"I am haunted" is eating my brain alive, and I'm dying (sorry) to know: do you consider Leo's reactions in the fic to be better or worse than Donnie's would be if their positions were reversed and it was Donnie having to kill Leo? And if Donnie was the Last Girl of the twins, what would that mean/change for Mikey? (I promise I'm not trying to au your au, because I am being happily murdered by the angst of this fic exactly as it is, but that line in the summary about the twins always following each other has me by the fucking throat.)

OH NO YOU JUST GAVE ME SUDDEN BRAINWORMS

If Donnie had been the one in that position, he would have trapped Scourger Leo's body somewhere, alive, to be dealt with at a later date - no way is he letting the Krang get the final say on Leo's fate - and then he would, with absolutely no regard to how many casualties and collateral damage it requires, ANNIHILATE the Krang. He would become a war criminal instantaneously. Leo is his impulse control, he would sooner punch a hole in the ozone layer than let the Krang think they've won by taking his brother and turning him into that thing.

Mikey would probably never be put into the position where the precise cocktail of panic, grief, and horror unlocks his Active Time Powers/splits George off of his Ninpo, because Donnie would not let himself get killed so ""easily"".

Donnie wouldn't care if it killed him doing so. He would do anything and everything it takes to wipe the Krang out. Maybe save his brother, if he can. If not, keep him alive as long as he can, Scourger Form be damned.

So this IS HEAVILY INSPIRED by lfls by @eternalglitch , And this was supposed to be the alternate ending of that once episode, that is clash of the mutanimals. Seeing raph get picked by his controlled friends (Rockwell and Slash) and getting taken by them made me like ooh angst, and the fact they picked raph since he has that fighting spirit, and is a great warrior amongst his brothers (dw the bros' are great warriors as well frfr) , AND THAT ONE SCENE SJDFASF WHERE RAPH WAS STRAPPED ON A TESTING TABLE WITH HIS FRIENDS RIGHT BESIDE HIM JUST STANDING THERE

while he tries to snap his friends out of it he tries to "wriggle" off the tight straps, and they just stood there as if they don't hear his calls (ofc their controlled duhhh)

SLASH JUST FR MADE HIM STOP MOVING

AND THE PLACE WHERE THEY PUT THE BRAINWORM, (He def will be scared of worms after that ig), SO yeah after that happens Tigerclaw tells shredder that they should put a "shock" collar on him if he ever gets out of the control of the brain worm, and so shredder agrees and tells the fly man (I forgot his name..) to create a shock collar, and so he creates it using some kraang tech ( Idk how they got it but they got it lesgo) He created a manual button for the shredder and others in case of emergencies, There are like 4 or 3 modes or levels of the shock (Idk yet I'm thinkin' abt it)

So yeah, raph wakes up in that weird room, (Where they fought that shredder in that ep) And so Shredder tests the brain worms performance ( Yeah I forgot how it goes on the episode so yeah imagine it) And the moment the crew ( Leo, Mikey, Donnie, Leatherhead) Barge in raph was about to end shredder but he stopped when shredder said enough, Leo shouted "Raph do it end this!"

Donnie says "What is he waiting for?!" (I think?) And then yeah SHredder says raphael is mine now to control,

Then leo runs to shredder to slash him but then raph stops him, Leo shouted "Raph snap out of it man, Shredder's the enemy!" Raph counters it and says

"You are the enemy"

And they fight and so on yadayada,

Leo goes like "raph you gotta break Shredder's control, this isn't you! Where's that crazy temper?"

Then rapahel goes "Don't be a fool, theres nothing you could say Leonardo" And they fight yeah again

Leo says "Ah I think I get it, you can't feel emotion because your shredder's puppet" Then he starts to get angry, " As a matter of fact I bet you like doing whatever shredder tells you" Leo added, " You probably love it!" Leo said

Then raph starts to get more and more angry,

(GAHAHAHAH I'M SO GLAD I DID THIS SS) A feeling reached his throat as If he wanted to puke, Then ( aNOTHER FUNKY SCREENSHOT AHAHAHAH)

After that

Raph got out of SHredders control.. But then As he saw that Raphael was no longer responding to his orders Shredder Asked stockman to explain what happened to the worm,

He replied "I dont no Ssszzir.." Then he gave the control for the collar and explained blah blah blah. He pressed the button then the collar started beeping (3 beeps) Then raph pushed leo away because he doesn't know what'll happen, so yeah raph gets shocked, his brothers are just there, eyes wide.

Hi! I read your TMNT 2012 separated au that you made with ellestrade and it really gave me brainworms so I wrote a small one-shot for it! The characters kinda ended up writing themselves haha.

anyways, wanted to share it with you and also make sure that you're okay with it. Not sure how you feel about other people taking inspiration from you ideas, so if you would like me to take it down, just let me know!

Gotta love those brain worms! (Ironic statement from a 2012 viewpoint, actually-) HOLY CHALUPA, BRAIN WORMS IN THIS AU UNIVERSE, WAIT WAIT ACTUALLY WAIT-

*background rambles and spazzing*

Okay, I’m back.

I’m always a-okay with whatever fan things anyone wants to create with inspiration from something I made or helped make. As long as it isn’t containing some stamp that says “this I deem canon” when neither me (nor my partner) deemed it canon, no one ever has to worry with me getting upset over some story/comic/art.

I’m going to give some thoughts and I want to disclaimer.

When I discuss my thoughts on your POV of events in the AU, I will never, in any way, intend to diss or attack the story. I think the flow was excellent and Raph’s analysis of the events occurring was intriguing. I loved it! And nothing I say will be a statement otherwise.

But, since I have a distinct inability to keep my mouth shut when it comes to turtles and you asked, I have thoughts 🧐

My brain is now turning and ya’ll have to deal.

Characterization:

Donnie: Much distrust. Much sass. A strong sense of duty to defend his brethren turtles who don’t deserve it but he’s doing it anyway.

Very on point. Much approval 👌

Mikey: Could not be more perfect. I love him. Sweet soul ✨

Leo: He’s a bit less… Forceful. Cold and calculating. Than I envision.

I’d imagine that he had to learn to shut feelings down in order to survive. Fidgeting/smiling/visibly hesitating is out of the question. Staying in Shredder’s graces meant learning to play the game. His silence is what earns Raph the ability to be loud. The only times that he’s himself is when him and Raph are alone, outside of the sight of cameras, or when someone in is danger and fear/fury overwhelms all else. He seems bland to outsiders and it takes the Hamato brothers a while to see that that he’s just a scared little boi at heart that’s just trying his best in a cruel world.

He’s also set in his beliefs, so he’s going to assume that they’re being tormented mentally, if not physically. There’s no place in his mind that wonders if they were actually safer elsewhere.

I do like your POV, though. Plenty for me to play with.

Raph:

He’s ABSOLUTELY the first to question the differences between how Shredder treats them and how Splinter treats their brothers. He doesn’t jump the gun, but as devoted as he is, he’s never really liked Shredder. I love the implications that he’s been filing away concerns subconsciously and his brain keeps poking him like “HELLO?!”

He’s very deep. I can’t decide how I feel about that 🤔

Shredder would have wanted to fan that temper into something unforgiving and vile. Or course, that doesn’t mean he stops being a sensitive soul. It could… Have something to do with Shredder manipulating him into being angry when he wills it (basically all the time) and solemn and still when he doesn’t (such as during lectures, punishments, etc).

His brain registers this situation as one where he’s not meant to be loud and angry, and so he’s kinda… Shut down. Sassy, but mellow. Processing. Adapting. Letting what happens happen because he’s not meant to stop it.

It’s a reason that Leo gets so defensive when punishments come into play. It forces Raph to feel small. It make him vulnerable.

Anyway, commentary:

“in one of Takeō's strategy books he couldn't care less about”

It’s like Space Heroes. He claims so and YET he read, recalls, AND clearly has DEBATED the passage so I call sus vibes.

I get giddy when I think of Takeō discovering Space Heroes-

“Junkō and Kōta— or Donnie and Mikey, whatever false name they’d been given—”

My brain made connections. I don’t know if it was intended, but I always believe that they knew them by Shredder’s names through the beginning of season one, end of season one/beginning of season two they were associating them as both, and then by the time that the City is under attack, they’ve adapted to using their real names. (But the Saki brothers still keep their Foot names.)

So, now I assume this is somewhere in that middle plot.

Fun little Easter egg~

“Takeō and Akihitō were the offense, and Donnie and Mikey were the defense” “They held their own. In fact, they dominated.”

I’m in love with Raph’s simple acknowledgment of their roles in battle. It’s a very practical outline of exactly how their dynamic on the field plays out and he's so certain of his place.

On the other hand, I’m a bit uncertain about whether they’d dominate. I do believe that they are trained and can hold their own, but I don’t know about them being as impressive as Raph&Leo, simply because Splinter trained them to defend and Shredder trained them to kill. The Hamato brothers haven’t had much time to practice in the offensive, especially since that’s Leo&Raph’s job. (In non-AU canon, they are all offensive/defensive.)

I think Mikey might learn that kinda strength at the farmhouse after being taught by Leo&Raph, and Donnie will step back from that, finally finding his place not as a fighter/leader, but as a scientist.

Definitely an interesting take, tho 🤔

100% behind Raph learning to butt in when Leo tries to take the fall as they get older and punishments get worse.

Takeō and him are tied to the ground, trying to convince these two strangers that they would be safe with them. That their clan would not hurt them while that same clan was just about ready to beat them to a pulp.”

Leo, dude, seriously. Look around. Think for a second. You are not selling your point. You are doing the opposite.

In the end, it doesn’t even matter. Sensei will always find them no matter where they run. It was better to follow than be chased.

These were Foot Ninja binds made specifically to hold them. Mutant strength and all.

It makes sense that Shredder would make these. But.

But man. He made those. For them.

Takeō tries to take control of the situation again, the bossy oldest sibling coming out in him.

HA. Got him. Leo is Leo in any universe.

“His name is Mikey.” Donnie glares. “The rat is lying and he has—” “Donnie, its fine.”

Absolutely how they view things. Mikey doesn’t care what they think or do as long as no one he cares about is paying the price. Donnie feels it is a manner of principle that they accept logic and truth.

Leo talking over both of them is valid. This kid, I swear.

“Then tell your older brother to shut up about—”

LEO IS IT OFFICIAL YOU HAVE BEEN DISOWNED

“Sounds like a you-problem.” Donnie stands. “Mikey, we saved them. It's time to go.”

Donnie would die for them <3

A hand lands on his shoulder, and he recognizes it. Takeō always knows when to give support. He’s a good brother. He hopes Donnie and Mikey will know that one day too.

yall wanna hear about the double mutated mikey au i made? theres no choice, im gonna ramble

so in the fourfold trap episode we see mikey strapped down under a an impending mutagen spill, this au is based on if everything in that episode went wrong kinda, and Splinter has to actively save his kids. No one escapes the traps unscathed and this leaves mikey to he double mutated.

the mutation alters mikey mostly on a physical level, but mildly mentally too, just a lil more growly and chirpy than usual. overall mikey ends up a bit more animalistic but is still on all accounts himself, not all of the mutagen got on him since the others got to him in time, and he's conscious enough to save donnie like he did before

splinter still fights karai and successfully gets the brainworm out without flushing her, so we get a guilty big sister for our troubles /j (she needs so much therapy)

So anyways imma talk about my Pink Puppets AU a bit more because why not i dont care

Of course, Pink Puppets AU is 12 Raph centric this time.

It's also canon to Mama Leo lol, everything is connected to Mama Leo at this point, that fic is like the base of all my future tmnt 2012 projects.

You have 12 Raph having to go against his brothers while being in a new world, but don't worry!! He has the Rise brothers to help him and this time, the Rise brothers are the responsible ones :D

Which makes sense since they just went through the shitshow that is the movie

12 Raph's interactions with them start of very... Very rough.

For one he fainted the moment he sees his counterpart because he's injured and stressed, and then after he wakes up he absolutely panics and attacks the first person he sees, which is Rise Leo, who's jist checking in on him.

He only calms down when Rise Raph arrived cuz...

Mah boy look like Slash.

Slash shaped = friend shaped

It took a little bit to get him to not snap at everyone when they try talking to him.

Rise Donnie called him an asshole which almost sets him off again before Rise Raph tells him off and says 12 Raph is just stressed, which he definitely is.

His fear of bugs and the experience of getting brainwormed really put him on edge.

Rise Splinter did help to calm him a bit, although it's mostly 12 Raph's confusion as why he's short helped to calm him down.

Once he's calm he tells them what happened, and in as if on cue, Rise April calls about something that happened.

Of course 12 Raph refused to be left behind and demanded for Rise Leo to let him go.

The others say no at first, trying to reason that he's still recovering and that his emotions would just be a hindrance if they let him go.

But 12 Raph begs and begs for Rise Leo to let him come with them.

And Rise Leo knows how it feels like to be desperate...

Knowing full well that 12 Raph thinks its his fault his brothers were captured...

Just like he he felt.

So he lets him come.

They go to the surface, 12 Raph is in shock about Rise April but immediately takes a liking to her when she gets her bat out. He sees Casey Jr. And doesn't really say anything except look at him weirdly because... Where the hell is all the hockey gear.

And he assumes Cassandra is their version of Karai.

Foot Clan colors and all that.

The Rise brothers had to awkwardly explain to him that that's Cassanrda Jones... She's a Casey...

And then they have to explain Casey Jr. Is from the future as well.

It was very akward and 12 Raph laughed in disbelief. He was about to turn to his brothers to make fun of the other guys for their weird universe when he realized... Oops! They're not here!!

And then they see 12 Mikey

And the lighthearted atmosphere just turned darker.

Hey so I have an AU where Shredder wised up and went "Huh. We know the purple one is the one who makes all of their armored vehicles and very useful tools. Maybe we should take that one out of the equation," ans tries to Brainworm Donnie, but while Stockman is prepping the worm Donnie manages to free an arm from the lab slab and tries to kill it with a shiriken.

BUT he misses a little, kinda bad throwing circumstances after all. So it just knocks some chemicals onto the worm and damages it. So it's totally messed up now.

As we know, the Brainworm as used on Karai A) erases the memory of being Brainwormed and B) is more a Mental Alteration Tool than flat-out robotic-style mind control.

A is defunct, thankfully, when the worm is uh. Um. I actually and still not clear how they get in there but anyway Donnie knows he got brainwormed because of the damage to it.

It ALSO couldn't make the mental alteration Shredder wanted.

He wanted, basically, to make Donnie into Stockman's little lab assistant. In this AU He plan to Brainworm all the turtles eventually and make them kill Splinter so he's killed by all 5 of his children, blah blah blah Shredder is an asshole, we know this.

But Donnie, obviously, tried to fight through.

What ends up being stuck in Donnie's head as command is Stop Shredder (His own thought he latched onto), improve The Foot Clan's scientific works (Shredder command), Protect/Capture his brothers (his own thought and Shredder's command mixes there and basically end up "Ah yes just pretend to catch them but once they're here prevent any harm coming to them until we figure something out")

In the end he basically secretly alters all the Foot Bots and fuckin'. Overthrows. And this is why you don't make a robot army or rely on mind controlling your scientists who upgrade said army.

I just don't get why NO VILLAIN TARGETS DONNIE WHEN HE LITERALLY MAKES ALL THE STUFF THAT WINS THE HARDEST FIGHTS HE'S VERY OPENLY AND OBVIOUSLY THE SCIENCE GUY AMD THE ONE TO TARGET FIRST TO CRIPPLE THE TEAM IN TERMS OF RESOURCES so I fixed that
