sue me idc but i think that Jason and Tim would both like things that are considered "childish" typically, i.e. Legos or dinosaurs or stuffed rabbits random stuff like that and they would both try and hide the fact until one of em found out, in my brain it goes like this:
Jason is rearranging his room and has a box of action figures n Legos set out and Tim comes in while he's cleaning and sees the box and Jason starts to get defensive but then Tim just grabs his arm and leads him to his room where he has a similar bin filled w various stuffed toys n Legos and colored pencils. they bond over this shared trait, building new Lego sets together or on some occasions playing with action figures of themselves. they both have this trait for different reasons tho -
For Jason, his parents couldn't afford toys or wouldn't buy them for him and wnv his mom tried to get him a toy his dad always ended up breaking it or it wouldn't even be a toy in the first place it'd just be some trash, and then when he became homeless he just couldn't afford toys/didn't want to seem "weak".
For Tim tho, his parents wanted him to succeed and they thought having "childish interests" like drawing or playing with Legos would hinder his maturity and so he never got to experience those various joys after the age of like, 6
So for both of them, moving to the manor and having some amount of wealth gave them the opportunity to relive parts of their childhood that they were never allowed to experience fully.
This isn't to say that none of the other batkids would play w Legos or have stuffed animals, just that i think Jason and Tim would feel like they had to hide it moreso than others.

Traintober Day 3: Twins
“Hads you some Scottish twins angst”
“Thinking about my au and how Donald’s and Douglas entire story would work and I’m still not sure if adding this but in honor of traintober day 3:twins here it goes so here since my au is following more of sos storyline but still has rws/tv series tidbits the same thing still happens the twins flee to sodor scratched off the numbers but since it’s instead mr.Zorro and Mr.Starr, who are in charge has the two companies have not been melded together yet and despite mr.Zorro gruffness even he wouldn’t sent them back to a uncertain future and after talking about it with Mr Starr and within their respective engines they both agree on taking one of the twins for each of their respective companies Donald goes with nor’easters while Douglas with the midis.
So despite both twins being eventually purchased and thereby saved, they still end up “separated” from each other yes they can see each other it’s not forbidden but their coworkers fierce rivalry between each other separate company among other reasons slowly but surely begins to influence the twins themselves douglas is caught up in more criminal activities even with a guest nearly gone wrong (sorry Colin!!) and as a result of his coworkers toxic influence (diesel, Adam, Stanley mainly) the latter two who were against having him for personal reasons he began to like the independence forming bonds with those from similar origins/railway(Emily), those giving him a warm reception (Lily, Colin) or just those who welcomed him regardless of the whole rivalry(Peter, later Reginald).
Both receive praise and attention though I feel like Douglas more so felt a slight need to become one of the midis thanks to his coworkers’s attitude towards him like yes he’ll defend himself but it’s better to make friends than enemies when you’re the new guy with Mr.Zorro having favoritism and watching your every move combined with some rather unpleasant encounters from the nor”Easter’s side (mainly James who also unintentionally stains Donald rep but doesn’t say anything on it) I feel like a fight would come when Douglas come in painted blue as a reward where he is finally accepted into the midis where slowly but surely the cracks begin to show from when their visits to one another become sacred, withholding secrets (mainly on douglas’s side cause let’s be real I’m pretty sure no one wants to tell anyone you’re involved with criminal activity) just drifting apart from the brother you once thought you knew your entire life until it all eventually comes crashing down.
of course this is still a work in progress but this idea would be quite interesting.

headcanon that uluran can make the same sounds as rhinos!! such is evident in the growls and grunts that they make canonically, however!!! baby uluran DO squeak like them, too. it’s one of their top vocalizations next to squeaky roars, high-pitched growls, and sniffs that are beginner grunts. >u<
adults can squeak too, but it’s rare, maybe even only being heard between mates, as well as close friends and trusted family. it’s not a gendered sound, either. it’s typically a sound made of pure glee when one feels safe enough to make it.

Little Shit Prompts Accepted! for @etherealguard
What happened to Dan Heng to end up in this dream again?
Another excursion on a gray planet where civilization ended thousands of years ago. Now, only ruins remained with life slowly growing between the cracks of cement; their branches sprouting on towering buildings full of broken glass and ancient machinery. While fauna run about, there was little to no presence of humans still living on the planet.
Dan Heng thinks they might be gone completely, or they're hiding from the robots. Yes, that's right, there are a series of robots that ruled this planet with an iron fist.
The Astral Express doesn't intend to stay for long considering they had shown hostility to humans. They even went as far as to warn them they will be captured or killed if they step out of the train.
Obviously, the Nameless are eager to explore and seek out their secrets.
On the third day, Dan Heng dives under the debris and slides out to the other side to keep running. He grunts as the missile hits the debris behind him, and the guard ends up flying a few meters away. Rolling on the pavement, he (un)fortunately ends up falling into a tunnel. Dan Heng tumbles down, trying to stop his descent by falling onto a metal pipe.
He groans in pain, wrapping his arms tightly around the pipe, and waits with bated breath. Overhead, the guard strains his ears for any sounds of machines flying. Thankfully, there was none.
First order of business: find a way out of here and regroup with his companions. They separated earlier to avoid being hit by hostile robots.
Just as Dan Heng thought it was safe, the pipe he is holding onto jerks downward. Unable to support his weight, the metal pipe separates from the soil and he's falling again. He shuts his eyes, accepting his fate as he hits the ground and everything goes dark.
The next time Dan Heng opens his eyes, he's on the floor staring at the ceiling of a familiar room. Shortly, his lovely view was obstructed by Imbibitor Lunae. His teal eyes clearly judged him for whatever life choice he made this time and ruined it.
"You can't go a single day without having some kind of accident, huh?" Imbibitor Lunae inquires, both amused and exasperated.
"Why am I here again?" Dan Heng asks instead of humoring the older man.
Imbibitor Lunae shrugs, "Again, I'm not sure. I don't control this space. If you're here, then there must be a reason only you would know."
"I need to wake up." Dan Heng moves to stand up, searching for any exit out of here. But like usual, there was none when he needs it, "I have to go. My friends...!"
A hand lands on his chest, firmly pushing Dan Heng to take a seat on the nearby chair. The guard stares at his past self in confusion. Imbibitor Lunae shakes his head and gives him a pitying look.
"I understand you're impatience, Dan Heng. But you must rest until you're ready." Imbibitor Lunae sits across from him. His brows pinched in concern, "Wherever you are at the moment, you'll be safe."
"But still..."
"There's not much to be done now that you're here." His past self reminds him, and Dan Heng wilts at that.
Imbibitor Lunae sweeps his hand across the table, summoning a chessboard out of thin air. The chess pieces are already in place waiting for the players to start the game.
Dan Heng stares at him incredulously, "Are you serious, Imbibitor Lunae?"
"We have time here. We may as well finish our game from last time." Imbibitor Lunae finger fiddles a chess piece. The corner of his lips quirk up and he asks tauntingly, "Or are you afraid to lose again, Dan Heng?"
Dan Heng huffs at the provocation before he unfurls his arms and leans forward, "I'll play. Just don't be shocked if I beat you this time."
Imbibitor Lunae merely chuckles at his fighting spirit.
