"Anything yet?" Megumi blinks to hear this but he looks from his cell phone. He didn't know what was going on, giving the thought that something might have happened. Gojo was told Kisho still was on his on going mission to find the cursed items that came from that party. However, it leaves another wondering what was going on. He did have some help along the way so it was something.

Right now, Megumi was told by Gojo to check on him but he was not answering the text messages he sent a while ago. "I don't think so. I can try to call him and see if he can answer the phone instead. Or maybe something is effecting the signal."

"I guess that's possible but give it a shot." Yuji said. Megumi nods and goes to do that, seeing Kisho's number and hits speed dial and waits for him to find something.

"I'm sure they are fine you two..just call them and we will see their fine." Nobara said. Miko agrees hoping they were alright. She wanted to go with them but she was still on stand by to recover.

"S..same here..." she mutters seeing Megumi still waiting for Kisho to pick up.

“Red team was so selfish looking past the cursed team like that” listen man they were thinking about it often, and had evidence they were cursed too. They were convinced they were cursed too. Bad (with Pierre’s help I’ll be honest) singlehandedly destroyed any sort of civil relations and good faith between the two teams and this shot Blue in the foot when they tried to make the case about them being cursed last minute, about trying to rig it in the cursed teams favor.

There was never a cursed team in the first place, it was all a tactic to build paranoia and that feeling of betrayal and to get them to tear eachother a part. And it worked super well! At the end, neither would listen to the other about their evidence, not with an honest open ear, not with the willingness to think the other team could be cursed. It’s not a case of ‘Red just refused to listen because they wanted to win more than they cared’ they thought they were cursed too - if they were selfish, then so were Blue in the same way.

Every time Red had tried to talk first early on, it was met with extreme violence - and with Bad consistently proving he’ll play dirty to win, they didn’t trust Blue enough to listen to them in the later game. Maybe they should have listened then. Maybe Blue have listened earlier. The game worked as intended to set them against eachother.

#link is to another post I made back when they were debating about the cursed teams in purgatory and why red couldn’t trust blue and blue #couldn’t believe red. they were both stuck #and bless Tubbo he tried. he did try. but he was just as convinced he was right as Phil at the end. it was about convincing one another #more than it was about coming together and piecing together the evidence. yknow what I mean? they all cared about it but because of tension #and they also could not trust blue. which sucks because that’s hardly Tubbo’s fault but yknow #I dunno. it’s not simple like that. it’s not a case of red blowing it off being selfish not caring. they also thought they were cursed #AGAIN I’ll say it again bad burning bridges fucked a lot of them over for when diplomacy had to win because there could not be benefit of #the doubt or good faith or any sort of trust #it’s not just cut and dry red wanted to win more or blue wanted to win more. it was complicated and had way more factors #red thought they were cursed too!! they had solid evidence for this too!!#and like. again it’s a case of both parties kinda suck purgatory sucked it was always going to be like that because the game worked as #intended #idk. blue should have listened to red early on. red should have listened to blue later on. they were never going to do that on either side #idk from Tina’s pov it’s understandable why she said what she said. but knowing the others pov and what actually went down that’s not what #happened at all yknow?#they’re all gonna be feeling the effects of ‘we killed and betrayed eachother for two weeks’ for a while to come #mcyt #qsmp #qsmp purgatory #z speaks

Strahdposting (with possible spoilers so tread lightly)

One of the worst things about Strahd in our campaign is that he's not overtly forced anyone to do anything. His underlings have, sure, but never him. He just waits for us to eliminate our options all on our own, and then presents us with his way. And of course, his way is the easiest. He'll even make it easier. We keep falling into the pit because he ensures we dig it ourselves.

We're almost past the point where he wants to bargain with us and I'm nervous about what happens when he stops being the devil we know and becomes something else altogether.

The recent reveal that there were other parties before ours has been so shattering for us, I think, because it made us all realize that our party is an amusement until it is an inconvenience, and then we'll be insects in the garden that have overstayed our welcome. And then he'll start with the force.

#even when Demetria was kidnapped #we only SAY kidnapped because Volenta did it and Strahd got to play hero about the whole thing #Every subsequent time she went to Ravenloft was on a bargain.#we're so past the wining and dining phase that it's unreal #but he'd convinced a party member to turn traitor and is moving in on another because he knows we work better being coaxed #barovia is so so scary and you know what? vampire castle supreme seems real nice sometimes.#in terms of power i was specifically thinking of when he found out we resurrected leo and collected him after 3 business days #he only used force after we acted first #and then was all “look what you made me do.”#good fucking god #and obviously #it's control while maintaining the illusion of culpability on our part. but it works. oh... does it work.#i know some DMs have him being very traditionally forceful and i think that's a great interpretation #because the first strahd game i was in leaned heavy into that #but i think our strahd in this game uses vampire-as-seduction in an extraordinarily cool way.#i had the same DM for both and i think this version is some fine fine work.#curse of strahd spoilers #cos: the sorority

actually crazy how much I'm enjoying the heroic durge path thus far. like it's actually a shame I always hear people talk about durge as something they save for an evil run because if you are an angst enjoyer, this is simply one of the finest vintages I've had in a while. like, the limitless internal conflict, not knowing who you are, not knowing if you want to know who you were, trying to be a good person but fearing you never can be. Something is forcing you to do terrible things and you can't control it, so where does that end? is your determination to be better than your impulses stronger than the monster inside of you? what happens if you lose control and just keep falling? that's SEXY. that's fucking catnip for me personally, I'm literally living my best life rn

I've been trying for three days to try to start a piece about what happened in our last Curse of Strahd game and tbh, it's killing me that I'm struggling so hard to have a good angle to start from because I'm SOOOOO thrilled by the exact way that things shook out and I wanna!! talk about it!!! but in writing form so there's CONTEXT
