Your head hurt. The last thing you could remember was accusing a zoologist of possessing your best friends body and now you were suddenly opening your eyes to a red glass ceiling that was ornate with detail.
Your neck felt stiff and as you moved your head to looked around you felt more nervous and scared than confused. Their were “people” without legs, instead that had the body of large snakes, all but one, who had the body of an absolutely massive snake and was adorned with golden chains piercing all down her tail.
Despite the all the other naga—if you were to refer to them as the fictional snake people from your world—wearing robes, the one with the dark green pearlescent tail and golden chains only had the most beautiful green and gold bodice you had ever seen on.
The bodice perfectly pronounced her figure having a fluffed top and off the shoulders draping. She was probably the most beautiful woman you had ever seen. As your eyes caught hers you briefly felt as though her eyes might have been how you ended up unconscious and here.
“Good morning darling, wasss your ressst alright?” Her calming deep voice adressed you as the rest of the naga slithered out of the room. This was the start of something beautifully terrifying.

In Valinorian Years Elenwe is one of the most powerful elves in Valinor, yet also the one who kept he power, political and magical, mostly under wraps. Its easier if she is 'just' the vanyarin crownprincess, a title without consequence as Ingwe will not abdicate and the vanyar no longer hold the line of high king. Later, she is only known as Turgons wife and as one of the vanyar, little of what strings she had pulled in Tirions politics has ever been known, and even less was remembered by the time all the stories of the first age were written down.

Penelope stood next to Callisto, again and again listening to congratulations on the wedding.Over the past month, she has learned to accept and conduct a dialogue with all the aristocrats from her husband's faction. Although the Crown Prince said that she did not have to communicate with them, since everyone perfectly understands her status and she could just stand aside and do nothing, Penelope could not behave like that - she felt awkward and felt attentive glances around who were looking forward to when she made a mistake.
Seeing the Duke and the brothers, Penelope involuntarily cringed, but tried to make her face look more serene. But Regulus, no doubt, noticed this sudden change of mood in his wife and after finishing the conversation with the baron, gave her his hand.
"I think it's time to announce the first dance," noticing the obvious uncertainty, Callisto decided to slightly dilute the situation with his jokes. "Otherwise, the noble ladies who came here to get the opportunity to crush someone's legs will come to crush them to me, and I would like my wife to do it, and not the enraged wild ladies."
Penelope laughed awkwardly as she accepted his hand. The aristocrats standing nearby instantly parted and carefully began to follow the movements of the couple.
When Reynold saw Callisto lead his sister to the center of the hall, he involuntarily clicked his tongue. Derrick looked at him in bewilderment, silently reprimanding, to which the younger one answered him indefatigably.
"Now we are all disgraced together."
"Why is that?" wondered Derrick.
"She can't dance. The dance teacher last trained her, I don't know, five years ago?"
The Duke, hearing the brothers' conversation, looked at his sons in amazement.
"Why am I only finding out about this now?"
"Hey, it's not my fault that she didn't like the dance teacher."
The Duke sighed dejectedly and wanted to rub his forehead from the tension of all the muscles from stress, but when he turned around, he completely forgot about it.
His daughter danced with the Crown Prince.
When everyone parted to free up most of the hall, standing at the edges, people could take a closer look at the dress of the crownprincess. Her beautiful red dress, embroidered with embroidery resembling an uncomplicated image of a dragon, which smoothly passes from the corset into the sleeves, reminding as if it had spread its wings, ideally suited the Crown Prince's ceremonial uniform. The couple looked amazingly harmonious. They moved following each other, without showing the awkwardness and uncertainty characteristic of newlyweds - as if it was natural.
Watching them, many people lost their doubts about the fictitiousness of their marriage.
Except the Duke knew it was all fake. But then why did Penelope look so at ease next to him?..

In the sleepy, wintery town that sits not far from the border to the neighboring enemy country one Steven Rogers and his best friends are spending time on a relaxing retrieve. One evening, not long after arriving there, they are met with three girls aimlessly wandering through the cold and rapidly darkening scenerie.
Not being able to let the three girls stay lost, thry invite them to their cabin for a warm fire and a place to sleep that night. The next morning it is revealed they fled from the neighboring country and are trying to hide out.
Against his better judgement Steve invites the girls to stay for the rest of their reprieve. Y/N, Natasha & Yelena are greatfull and accept.
Cue a cheesy, cute fall in love scenario between Steve & Y/N, those two simply being pulled towards one another. Sparks fly and they let their feelings guide them.
Following a beautiful kiss as the pinnacle of that love story comes the bad awakening the next morning. Strange people arrive and take Y/N & Natasha with them. Yelena who was able to stay hidden then has to bear the bad news:
They aren't just random girls fleeing out of the neighboring country. Y/N is the heir aparrent to the thrown, set to find a suitable match and elope at the end of the week when their country holds is annual christmas ball; Natasha the crownprincess and second in line.
Steve deeply in love and not willing to let his girl go that easily ropes his friends and Yelena into an elaborate plan to sneek into the ball and reunite with the woman he fell in love. But there is a twist.

At the day of the ball the crownroom is filled with potential suitors. One after another stepping forward to introduce themselves and woo the heir aparrent.
It is when Lord Rumlow from one of the provinces of the Hydra kingdom is about to introduce himself when the royal horns toll and an attendant announces nervously:
"His majesty, the King of Brooklyn"
A murmur goes through the crowd as guards sprint to push between the King of the enemy Kingdom and the princesses.
Forward steps a man in Uniform, a cowl obscuring most of his face, the round metal disk that is his shield on his back. He steps forward as far as the guards let him, before the current king/sovereign Dreykov demands to know what he wants here.
"I'm here to ask for the princesses hand in marriage."
'How dare you!'
Grinning the King of Brooklyn lifts his head, his blue eyes meeting Y/N's. Blue eyes she recognizes. A gasp leaves her mouth as the King removes his cowl and reveals himself to be Steve.
"I won't take no for an answer as this is only a formality, for I have already promised to be yours and you to be mine."
