""Hamas has hundreds of taped hours of their massacre => this proves that it was the IDF who did it.
The Moscow terrorists have many tapes killing everyone whilst screaming Islamic sentences => this proves that Israel is behind the attack.
As I've recently explained, there is NOTHING that has surprised me more about human nature then the inability to change one's anchored opinions irrespective of how much evidence one is presented to the contrary.
If you believe that the Jews are behind all calamities, there is nothing to anchor you away from your genocidal debauchery of hate. The more evidence that is presented against an opposing ideology, the more that this is "proof" that it is the Jews' fault.""

like listen i dont think russia needs any defending but its amazing to me how "all russians are evil genocide supporting warmongers" mentality so often coexists with "every representative on every political level in my country is actively supporting a genocide in palestine and overwhelmingly anyone speaking out against it is punished and blacklisted and arrested" like ????????????????????????????? are we not on the same page? that our political systems as a whole inherently support the murder and disenfranchisement and ethnic cleansing of vast swathes of population for a nations own political gain?? how is my uncle being pilled by russian propoganda any different than your uncle being pilled by the every single Palestinian is a terrorist and deserves to die narrative being pushed out??? is it not a curse that we must collectively organize and fight against ???

Ever since I watched HOT D I have felt conflicted about Alicent's character because I can't figure out her motivation. At the beginning it's clear she's only doing what Otto wants but later on... What is the reason she wants her son to be on the throne so bad ? ( When it doesn't seem to me like she cares about having power )
The only thing that I see is that she is extremely bitter and angry that she had to be this perfect woman when she was still a child and marry and have children with and old man. Meanwhile her friend is just fucking around not respecting any of the value she has to uphold.
But idk is it really only anger at Rhaenyra that makes her want this ?
one of the reasons I like alicent as a character so much is the 8 layers of cognitive dissonance she processes everything through at all times. She’s constantly trying to convince herself everything will be fine and also not allowing herself to really want anything for herself. She’s not a rational actor because she was robbed of the ability to emotionally mature past the age of 15 in a lot of respects, but it makes her a compelling (and confusing!) character.
I think it’s safe to say that on a fundamental level she at least wants a) to be close to Rhaenyra b) for her family to be safe and for her father to be proud of her and c) for someone to acknowledge her suffering (she cannot conceptualize a world where what she went through didn’t have to happen, she just wants anyone to recognize it as painful.)
She thought that Rhaenyra was also going to be suffering in a loveless marriage alongside her, and they’d have that in common. To see her “breaking the rules” that have made Alicent’s entire life completely miserable is just too much. She got her life destroyed by this system and by Viserys wanting sons, and he doesn’t even care about them OR about her, he only loves his eldest daughter even though SHE “breaks” all of these “rules.” That’s super emotionally devastating, and Alicent decides to pin that on Rhaenyra instead of her father or Viserys because if she did that, she would actually have to deal with the years of emotional trauma and violence that she’s been repressing. She can’t see a way out, so she just projects the rage she cannot internalize onto Rhaenyra.
Her father spent decades trying to convince her that Rhaenyra was going to be a threat to her family in the event of a succession, an idea he stood to gain a lot from, but it also isn’t totally crazy. Aegon Aemond and Daeron WERE threats to Rhaenyra’s claim. Putting Aegon on the throne was the only pathway that Alicent had been drilled to envision for decades, and the only one she thought would keep her kids safe. Also- if one in her life is going to acknowledge what happened to her was horrible and wrong, then at least everything she’s went through has to be worth something. Aegon’s coronation was also the culmination of that idea for her.
She doesn’t want power because she cannot even conceptualize having power as an option for herself- she’s never pictured herself on the throne, and she’s only trying to make a window in the wall of her prison. I don’t think she ever envisioned what her life would be like after she got Aegon on the throne, so I’m real excited to see what she’s going to be doing in season 2. TLDR it’s not about getting specifically Aegon on the throne that’s important, but more about following the rules she’s been taught will make her happy and safe and successful, even though on some level she knows that all it’s ever done is hurt her. Free alicent from the narrative she knows what story she’s in and she knows there’s no way out💚💔

Clark: i dont have any idea whats going on but i DO know one thing and its that this woman is trying to hurt Wally's kid and thats not gonna fly
Man poor Clark. Dude is trying so hard to understand and help out but he's just... so slow. The man is like living molasses in Flash Time.
From his perspective it was just a normal day then giant spaceships came out of nowhere and suddenly there is an army of blurs and he just starts teleporting from place to place before he can even register the locations.
Then suddenly he's with familiar blurs, ones clad in red and yellow. Their forms fading in and out like hummingbird wings, voices more akin to mice squeaking than actual language. If he didn't have his superhearing and his ability to hear inhumanly high pitches, he wouldn't have a chance at understanding them. They try to stay still long enough for Clark to talk to them.
He says "What is going-" and then they're gone again. He didn't even finish the question.
Then there's just one blur around. Small, orangey-red at the top, must be Wally's daughter Irey. Before he can even register that information she's being choked by some unknown blur halfway across the room. Something touches his hands and he doesn't even have time to look at them, he just grabs. He was desperate at this point. Good or bad, whoever this was they were staying put until Clark got some answers.
Anyway I think it's very funny that the Kryptonians are aware that something is happening. But they can't do anything about it. It must be incredibly frustrating and confusing to them.
They can hear the screams of the people who died and the people who are trapped in rubble. They would have seen/heard the spaceships come in. They came in at a normal speed so they would have had time to react to that. They know it's an alien invasion, they know people are dying and they know that they can't help.

Here's a documentary about the cult I was raised in. My dad started listening to this guy in the late 70's before there was any end of the world prediction but things slowly got more and more extreme. What you're seeing in the documentary happened when I was about 25. At that point I didn't know anything else and my life felt like it was not my own. We were not allowed to doubt the prediction and were so isolated, hiding in plain sight. I started deconstruction in July 2011 and was later diagnosed with Complex PTSD. Unfortunately, this documentary focuses on the adults who were what we call first gen (even the college student). Those who are recruited and not born in, but us second and third gen survivors are out there. Our stories are just as important, but this gives anyone who is curious an idea of how ordinary people can get trapped in a cult. There are still children trapped in the offshoot of this cult and I hope they can escape too.

ProTip: When you're a cognitively impaired self-proclaimed "stable genius", it's not a good idea to accuse others of being cognitively impaired.
Donald Trump essentially created raw material for an ad for Democrats at his speech at the Family Research Council.
In his latest gaffe-laden speech, Donald Trump appeared to suggest former President Barack Obama was running in 2024 as he warned that “cognitively impaired” President Joe Biden could lead the country into “World War Two” if he wins re-election.
During his remarks at the Washington DC Pray Vote Stand Summit on Friday, the former president said: “We have a man who is totally corrupt and the worst president in the history of our country, who is cognitively impaired, in no condition to lead, and is now in charge of dealing with Russia and possible nuclear war.”
“Just think of it. We would be in World War Two very quickly if we’re going to be relying on this man, and far more devastating than any war,” he continued as dramatic music swelled in the background.
Maybe if Trump attended his history classes instead of cutting class to steal ketchup packets from McDonald's he'd know that World War II was started by his fascist icons in Europe.
Of course Trump was attempting to act as a mouthpiece for his overlord, the "savvy genius" Vladimir Putin – but botched the line.
Let's not overlook Trump's hilarious unforced error in the same speech.
The former president said he was beating Mr Obama, the 44th president, in the 2024 election polls and then appeared to suggest he had beaten him in 2016 before correcting himself that his opponent then was Hillary Clinton.
Are you really beating somebody if that person isn't even running against you? 😆
Republicans and Russian meme makers want Americans to focus on Biden's age while ignoring Trump's mental unfitness – as well as HIS age. It's time to quit being defensive and go on the attack.
If you see or hear any reference to Biden's age in the news media when, in the same story Trump's age or fitness are being ignored, it's a good idea to contact that organization and ask why they are being so obviously one-sided.
Trump's dementia challenge: Fear of Alzheimer's has him scrambling
Oh, and isn't somebody who throws food around and has temper tantrums more likely to start a nuclear war?

okay actually wait i need to word-vomit a bit
Putting this under Read More bc the screencaps I took use a lot of space. sorry X_X
This is just me rambling incoherently. These thoughts just wouldn’t leave me alone
(they weren’t lying btw that shit really DID look just like my migraine auras)
Considering all this I feel like actually, you probably COULD perma-kill a Ship-Self (which... given they basically ARE the pilots... yeah that’s basically killing the pilot for good)? Just target their squishy human self in the cockpit. If we’re keeping w/ the LGBT/“othering minority groups” metaphors I imagine you could read this as “There are some people you should never, ever come out to and express your true self in front of, bc their rejection of you can put you in actual, life-threatening danger”. Like... to me the fact that there happens to be insta-kill military drones AT ALL is kinda telling.
And considering in this universe, minorities can basically be Othered/dehumanized so hard by societal expectations that they’re literally transcending into inhuman entities? And how people, IRL or otherwise, tend to treat those they don’t see as human? :S
Like... there‘s a lot of Iapetuses (”Iapeti”? yeah that sounds better) out there. Hell, there’s probably people who’d think he’s not going far enough in what he’s doing and want to turn all the OTHER social rejects into Existential Threats to use as punching bags... if not just get rid of them altogether.
tl;dr if there’s a few things I know about the Iapetus-like figures of the world (given the all-but-outright-stated homophobia and transphobia), it’s that A) they’re VERY pushy and outright violent when rejected and B) ...sadly VERY good at coming together and fighting on a cohesive front. (What’s been happening in the world the past few years is a testament to that, IMO >_<) They’re not gonna come to play-fight and make out with them about their issues; they’re gonna come up and try dragging them back into Earth’s Culture and gravity kicking and screaming. (If not just make fucktons of those autonomous drones and then... yeah)
...where was I going with this? uhhhh... idk. I guess all I can say is:

not to be biased but... arguing that sulemio won't survive this is like saying a coffee bean major at cafe school, heir apparent to the De'longhi enterprise, who once suggested using her company to make giant espresso machines, is going to dump her fiance for making French Press in front of her.
