Tattoos are often symbolic, but I somehow missed the symbolism of these ones until now. I just now realized that Terry Milkovich has a tattoo above his heart that is hate speech, while Mickey Milkovich got a tattoo above his heart in a pronouncement of love.

Terry got to his son's knuckles early and made it the first thing people saw. Fuck u-up that's what Mickey Milkovich will do, that's what any Milkovich will do, but Terry couldn't get to his core, couldn't put hate there, because Ian Gallagher got there and didn't let go.

I also think it's interesting how after Terry died, we found out about his past with a woman he loved. He had done everything he could to be with her and ultimately killed for her, and she rejected him, leading him to a life of hate and anger. He just gave up on this woman and being with her. (He killed her father, so it's a bit hard to come back from, but still)

Mickey did everything to be with Ian, came out for him, took care of him, and attempted to kill Sammi for what she did to Ian, but he still got broken up with. He could easily have gone the path of his father, of hating Ian, hating everyone, but instead he carved Ian's name into him and asked him to lie, for him, because 8 years was a long time. His thoughts of them together kept him going in prison until he could escape, and when he did he found Ian again. And even then Mickey didn't hate him for not being able to cross the boarder because the love in his heart was stronger than any hate or bitterness, to the point he didn't hesitate to turn himself in to be with Ian once again.

I mean, how fucking beautiful is that? Mickey became the most loving person by being loved. He's not his father, and he'll never be his father, because he never gave up on love like Terry did. At his core Mickey is love.

Here’s a pass at a ‘beginning of the story’ Teramor.

One of the changes I wanted to make was that the Zeoran, the group of Creatures he ends up with, are kind of more like Mandalorians where it’s a Creed they live by, not actually a race. The working idea is that they have a huge pool in the village of different types of Creatures, but they’re pretty unified by their principles.

The blue is still from Nylthea. Eyes are permanent, but body marks are usually a lighter stain that comes off over time and needs to be reapplied, thus leaving room for other permanent roles, status, or other ensigns in the future.

Incredibly colorful, and interesting to see species from all over just vibing. However, all of them do not seem to know anything about the Tribes or their wars.

I’m basically redoing everything, so but so far I’m just starting off small.

It’s so strange to me that I’m so certain that Byler will happen, even though it hasn’t.

I’m an indecisive person. I often ask my friends or people close to me to make trivial decisions for me, things that will literally affect nothing. When I do make a decision, it’s not unusual for me to not have confidence in it.

I need other people’s validation on my opinions, or else I’ll feel like I’m stupid and not aware of anything.

I’m doubtful of things and overall pessimistic.

So whenever I think of Byler and remember that it’s going to be canon, and I feel zero doubt about it?

It’s weirdly comforting. Maybe that’s part of why I like the ship so much.

He's fine now no worries. Yall aren't ready for this conversation but Debbie saved Gallavich with this one truth bomb:

"Frank used to drink like this. When Monica was around and they would fight, he would angry drink. It never worked. He always came back to her. You can't drink him away, Mickey. It won't work."

This is the moment Mickey stopped fighting. And he didn't just stop fighting Ian, but he stopped fighting himself, his feelings, expectations of himself and Ian and their relationship, all of it! Getting served this slice of wisdom from young Debbie Gallagher changed Mickey's entire perspective and how he reacted to things.

So then cut to this moment where Ian blames Frank and Monica on this disaster of a marriage attempt:

"Frank and Monica aren't exactly the fucking picture of marital bliss, okay? I don't have a have a frame of reference to connect this shit to."

Because long ago, Debbie, Ian's own sister, used Frank and Monica as a frame of reference for Mickey on how not to handle things, and he's been subscribed to it that mindset ever since. It's here and now years later that Ian has to learn what Mickey did years ago, that lesson that will keep their love lasting through everything life will throw at them.

If not for Debbie, Gallavich wouldn't have made it here

And ultimately wouldn't have endured everything to end up here

So put some respect on the name of Gallavich's #1 fan
