Happy Pride from that weirdo band of draconic folk you all know and love🌈

soooo I made some morphology's and outfits for td charcters, here’s what I have so far (warning, this is gonna be long)

Gwen: outfit (Female Pearlcatcher; teal Jupiter, obsidian Basic, and emerald Basic) This is one of my personal favorites, it's simple but it works really well, but you'll see the morphologies and outfits get more complicated soooo

Courtney: outfit (Female Coatl; sand Cherub, camo Constellation, and wisteria Basic) Another favorite, she just looks pretty :3

Duncan: outfit (Male Bogsneak, eldritch Cinder, fern Blaze, and flaxen Basic) Silly little eepy guy, I feel like this is probably the most accurate dragon of any td character i've made. not much to say about him tho

Alejandro: outfit (Male Imperial; coral Python, maroon Shimmer, and blood Smoke) This is actually a dragon that I have, you can check him out here, but it actually took a couple tries to get an outfit that I think works with him lol

Bridgette: outfit (Female Skydancer; caribbean Lionfish, sanddollar Shimmer, and cobalt Okapi) nothing much to say other than, pretty :3

Geoff: outfit (Male Pearlcatcher; magenta Clown, ivory Butterfly, and strawberry Spines) same with Bridgette, I wanted them to be matching, cause, y'know. they kiss :<, but I honestly prefer this one over Bridgette (the outfit, not the morphology)

Harold: outfit (Male Ridgeback; periwinkle Skink, orange Hex, and fern Stained) I'm really happy with how this came out, even if it took a couple redos lol, and the steampunk apparel works with Harold's, vibe

Ezekiel: outfit (Male Wildclaw; algae Pinstripe, soil Patchwork, and stonewash Veined) My favorite tbh, can't really explain why it just, ✨does✨

Feral Ezekiel: outfit (Male Mirror; fern Stiched, camo Patchwork, and cobalt Ghost) yeah, i made the eepy. i changed the breed cause 1) it reflects how ezekiel changed after his mutation, and 2) Male Wildclaw's position(?) isn't creaturey enough

Leshawna: outfit (Female Obelisk; ginger Falcon, obsidian Rosette, and cerise Contour) Nothing much to say about this one tbh, she looks real pretty tho :D

Owen: outfit (Male Snapper; metals Ground, marigold Safari, and teal Koi) I like this one, it's simple but unfortunately i couldn't find anything to represent his maple leaf :(

Cody: outfit (Male Coatl; gold Swirl, twilight Fissure, and copper Contour) i'm honestly not happy with this one, specifically the outfit. might redo this one later, and remove all the autumn stuff

Noah: outfit (Male Nocturne; brown Jupiter, pthalo Safari, and crimson Underbelly) another favorite, it gives off very Noah vibes lol (and i just realized that he shares a gene with Owen. so do with that information as you will)

Trent: outfit (Male Skydancer; algae Viperia, forest Eel, and obsidian Koi) I love this one, gives off very bard/guitarist kinda vibes. and if there was lore, i imagine trent would be a nomad entertainer, playing in small towns and cities, and maybe at a bar or two

Chris: outfit (Male Fae; forest Falcon, teal Myrid, and obsidian Smoke) look, it's him, the guy!!!!/j but in all seriousness, this is literally just him. entitled little short king who slays (i also have one for Chef, but it's yucky :,<)

i had one for Heather, but I deleted the outfit for her, which was of a dragon that i already sold, soooooooo i'm just gonna make a new one for her :3 also thank you for reading this long ass post (if you actually did), it means a lot to me :3

SonicAsura's Doodles #45

A Nezha Reborn version of my Fast Shadows AU! It's a bit old but Sonic Prime gave me the motivation to dig through my folder and post this. There are some differences here compared to my Lego Monkie Kid version. I'll be going over on appearance and the new character than actual AU details. That's for the other blog, @talesofsonicasura.

Considering where Nezha Reborn takes place, Donghai City, a time where the Heavens fell apart... It only makes sense that their designs would have a more punk feel. Sonic wearing violet mascara, an ear piercing and most interesting black fur tattoos that resemble ears. He wears sandals for harsher kicks as his claws down there are quite sharp. His weapon being a peculiar bronze staff with mysterious properties.

This Macaque is MUCH different than his Lego Monkie Kid counterpart. His hair much longer and he indulged in various dyes. He's also on the chunky, first attempt at a dad bod, plus male monkeys tend to gain weight when they have babies of their own. His six ears aren't colorful unless their magic is being used. Macaque also wields two short spears that clip together to form a dual bladed spear.

Finally our third character in the picture, Spiny. This is a Salamander who disguised himself as a Pygmy Spiny Tailed Skink, one Macaque got for Sonic. (He didn't find out until he came back home to his little hedgehog son nestled comfortably against the large Salamander.) Spiny serves as Sonic's familiar and adapts based on the love n care from the two.

The six eared frills alongside the violet colors from Macaque with the rigged protective shell and blue colors from Sonic. Spiny's hind legs can be tucked inside his protective shell as a way to control his agility. These limbs are quite powerful as it doubles the Salamander's speed and jumping power.

Tylvinian Free-Running Circuit

The Tylvinian Free-Running Circuit, or the TFRC, is an illegal event held every Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night in the city of Tylvin, the capitol of Ferus.

Runners pay a once-a-week entry fee to enter the Circuit, which grants them access to the Circuit for the weekend. These dues go into a savings fund which the organizers maintain to pay legal fees should they be caught, as well as medical expenses for runners that sustain injury on the course.

While there is a waiver upon entry for the first time, the TFRC wants to take care of its participants and so has policies in place that ensure injuries are dealt with swiftly and empathetically.

It is hosted in a different location every active night to avoid being easy to catch and break up. The Circuit has a small group of organizers, which contacts its participants via an online chat the organizers allow runners into, but do not allow general chat in.

All messaging is done by the organizers, and the chat is used to give the location of the next starting line, where runners will gather. There are three types of race that are run from the starting line, which is a simple strip of reflective white tape with a pair of standing lights on either side. These types are:

Casual - Simply racing to race. Up to ten runners may participate in this. It is often used to practice the path before attempting a League or Challenge race, though the more casual racers tend to stay out of those. Bets are not allowed, and racers are given no compensation.

League - The TFRC ranks its racers based on certain metrics, as outlined in a later section of this post. League matches use these rankings and assign races between up to four runners, with the winner increasing their rank while last place loses a rank. Bets are taken, with the lowest ranking racer paying out the highest return should they win, and the highest ranking paying the lowest return should they win. Runners are entitled to a portion of all bets placed on them if they win, and a consolation pay if they don't. The rank class a runner holds determines their pay at the end of a race.

Challenge - A Challenge is the highest stakes race the TFRC offers. In a Challenge race, two runners go head to head in the course for bragging rights, money, and most importantly to those involved, status. In a Challenge race, a lower-ranking runner may challenge any runner of higher rank. If they win, their ranks are swapped with the Challenger taking on the rank of the runner they challenged while their opponent takes on the Challenger's rank.

There are four Rank Classes, and each Class has varying amounts of ranks. These are listed below.

Bronze - 100 ranks. Lowest is Bronze 100, top rank being Bronze 1.

Silver - 50 ranks. Lowest is Silver 50, top rank being Silver 1.

Gold - 25 ranks. Lowest is Gold 25, top rank being Gold 1.

Platinum - 5 ranks. Lowest is Plat 5, top rank being Plat 1.

The pay ranges are as follows:

Bronze 100-50: 3% of bets for winning, $5 consolation pay for losing

Bronze 49-1: 4% of bets for winning, $8 consolation pay for losing

Silver 50-25: 5% of bets for winning, $10 consolation pay for losing

Silver 24-1: 8% of bets for winning, $20 consolation pay for losing

Gold 25-10: 12% of bets for winning, $30 consolation pay for losing

Gold 9-1: 15% of bets for winning, $40 consolation pay for losing

Platinum 5-1: 25% of bets for winning, $50 consolation pay for losing

When a runner reaches the top rank of their Class, they can no longer move up without a Challenge race, and must challenge a runner of any rank in any Class higher than their own.

The current top rank racers in each Class are:

Bronze - Hayden Markle, border collie, participant for six months

Silver - Trace Parker, common fox, participant for eight months

Gold - Jon Bellows, skink, participant for a year and four months

Platinum - Danny Ipson, desert owl, participant for five years

Races are run on a schedule, which is shown below.

From 8pm to 10pm, Casual races.

From 10:30pm to 12am, League races.

From 12:30am to 2am, Challenger races.

This ensures everyone has time to race, and allows for breaks between so that runners participating in multiple race types have time to rest between competitions.

The organizers are not known by name or species, and mingle among the crowd as runners to avoid standing out. This is to prevent anyone from being singled out as a leader as a precaution in the event of police discovery.

The TFRC is, in essence, a roaming gathering of free spirits and speed demons looking to meet others like themselves and prove their capability against one another, find lifelong friends and rivals, as well as gather to enjoy the competition and camaraderie the Circuit provides. It is a gathering of sincere love of the sport, and bad eggs are weeded out quickly, with the Circuit affording no place for toxicity or hostility outside of the healthy competition of the race.

I'll repeat myself soon enough, but it was a huge honor to be able to come onto the show for a while and contribute! If you haven't listened to it I got to be a player character for a good handful of eps after being a fan of the show for years, big stuff very cool!
