"Sometimes I see people darkly warning that prosecuting Trump could set a precedent that would be used to prosecute Democratic presidents for their crimes. My response to this warning is best expressed in the title of a classic song by the band Panic! at the Disco: 'Don’t threaten me with a good time.'
I would love to see President Barack Obama, for example, face criminal prosecution for the many drone strikes he ordered around the world — including the strikes that killed radical imam Anwar al-Awlaki and his sixteen-year-old son, Abdulrahman al-Awlaki, both of whom were US citizens. These strikes amounted to extrajudicial executions of terrorism suspects who hadn’t been convicted of any crime and who were nowhere near anything that could remotely be construed as a battlefield. In the case of al-Awlaki, there’s reason to think that it was an extrajudicial execution not even for clearly illegal acts but for the inflammatory words in his sermons.
And that brings us to the real double standard here. Trying to overturn an American election is the kind of crime the Justice Department takes seriously. Extrajudicially slaughtering scary Muslims in a foreign country, even ones with US citizenship, is not. Even George W. Bush invading Iraq based on lies doesn’t count. Hundreds of thousands of people died and millions became refugees, but those were the wrong kind of victims for our justice system to take an interest in them.
The solution to that double standard, though, isn’t to let Trump off the hook for conspiring to overturn a democratic election. It’s to indict George W. Bush. One president finally being subject to prosecution for some of his crimes isn’t nearly enough, but it’s a start."

Now that we're having conversations about the way the US has weaponized the Jewish identity, we can also look at how it weaponizes the Black American one. @ryan_ken_acts breaks it down hilariously.
Ryan is specifically satirising this interview with Obama that the Dems trotted out in response to the mass protests against Israel, and Amy Schumer pulling out a cherry-picked interview of MLK during her deranged Zionist cringe posting. (Although we all expected someone to do it well before then, because white people are too predictable.) The fact that nearly every bald-faced, shameless bureaucratic stonewalling in response to the ceasefire campaign for Gaza has come from a Black female representative also hasn't been lost on the Black community. It's something they're well used to, from the Bush Administration's use of Condoleeza Rice to the Biden Administration and Kamala Harris.
Please go give the videos a view on Ryan's own page, and check out their other content. They're one of the funniest and most incisive political TikTokers I've ever seen.

I'd say any time Dobson attempted to realistically draw someone were always among the worst of his art. The guy could just not do it and no one he tried to draw looked like who they were supposed to be. His Obama was really bad. He once drew Benedict Cumberbatch and it looked nothing like him at all. And his Trump...God, his Trump...That's okay because not everyone can draw in a more realistic manner. But his attempts were ESPECIALLY bad, like he was trying too hard is my point, and it didn't work. Instead of using a different technique, he refused to learn and kept doing it. Not surprising because this is Dobson.

Its especially odd considering how he’s constantly adding “detail lines” to simple cartoony designs for “realism” or whatever, but he never really goes for much realism when it comes to when he’s actually trying to draw someone truer-to-life.
Of course with Trump, he just has an irrational seething hatred for the man and was constantly taking any and every chance he had to shit on him and wish for his death.

(Jolli)bee mine? - H. Styles x B. Obama
‘I seem to have lost my phone number. Can I have yours?’
Obama looked up from his coffee cup and caught the culprit. On the counter two tables away from his, a certain brunette was humming nonchalantly preparing someone else’s order. He immediately knew it was his since it’s been nearly 2 weeks since he had first written a horrible pick-up line to go with his Jollibee Premium Brew coffee:
------------------------------
The just-risen sun shone softly on the city streets, bringing with it a flurry of early-morning activity. Another day with the same routine repeated all over again, yet just like what someone once said, your life might seem repetitive. But no one really knows what could happen (tomorrow).
Obama stepped in the same Jollibee, breathing in the same smell of freshly made meals and brewed coffee. The same seat he always stayed in was left vacant, people around this time of morning knew he was a frequent customer, so they opted to save that one particular table for him, and besides, he seemed a bit intimidating to them.
“Jolly morning sir, may I take your order?”
Now, this was a new face, he was usually greeted by the same tired and quite rude employee, but he guessed they might’ve fired that person because who says JOLLY morning with a grumpy attitude?
The new guy behind the counter had more energy than he could possibly muster at 6:00 AM, brown orbs sparkling, patiently waiting for him to get out of his trance. What was he supposed to do again?
“Hello, may I have a hot coffee?”
— — — — — —
Obama settled himself in his usual spot and watched the morning activity outside the window. The sun was now at its peak, shining its rays on the bustling city streets. Set his coffee down Obama noticed there was a pen stain on his finger. He couldn't believe that something so absolutely absurd was written on his coffee cup.
‘Did you get your license suspended for driving so many guys and gals crazy?’
- Harry Styles ;)
———————end of flashback———————
He approached the counter and that certain brunette, Harry Styles, who smiled up at him innocently.
"So?"
Obama cleared his throat, "I think there's been a mistake. I think you've written something on my cup that wasn't meant for me."
"You think there's anyone here who orders coffee diluted with half a carton of milk?", his orbs twinkling with mischief.
"I guess not”, Obama couldn't help but let out a chuckle. “But why did you write that on my cup?"
"I thought you could use a good laugh this morning. It's the least I could do for a regular customer like you."
“Hm.”
Although he has only been at this Jollibee for not more than 2 weeks, Obama couldn't help but gradually feel intrigued by Harry Styles. He had certainly noticed his bubbly personality. Maybe it was time to get to know him better.
He swiftly scribbled his number on Harry's hand not caring about the possibility that that could be against JOLLIBEE’s hygienic protocols. Obama quickly rushed out of the store before Harry Styles could say another word and nursed his coffee on his way to do the shit he does, knowing that he'd be back tomorrow morning and he'd get to see him again.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) has, again, appeared to pray for the demise of President Joe Biden.
In a sermon streamed by the Storehouse Dallas church in Texas over the weekend, Boebert preached politics to attendees, repeating comments that attracted fierce backlash last June.
“Joe Biden’s President. We don’t know what to do, Lord!” Boebert said. “It’s all right, we pray for our presidents. You know, it says, ‘Let his days be few and another take his office.’”
The audience was heard laughing after the remark.
“That’s why I filed articles of impeachment for Joe Biden,” Boebert added. “Unfortunately, he does have a really great insurance policy named Kamala Harris.”
The phrase Boebert referenced is from Psalms 109:8. Though Boebert referenced impeachment, the verse is widely interpreted as a call for the premature death of an enemy. It pops up in right-wing politics from time to time, including in 2016, when then-Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) applied it to President Barack Obama.
Boebert referenced the same Psalm in June while speaking at a Christian event in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
