I cant... 🤣🤣 baking at a different cafe.

Work things under the cut

I knew people really didn't like me at work. Bahaha I didn't know it was this bad.

My Lil sister has been baking at a Cafe thats been shit to her, my other trainee was there and I got the Lil sis hired to do pan up (prep) work so she wouldn't have a hard time. Fast forward a few months that trainee went to another store (for better pay, a little suggestion to my boss). But this left the Lil sister alone, management promised to get her help.

A year later she is doing triple the work I do by herself with empty promises of help. So I talk to my Cafe GM about getting her transferred over to our Cafe as a retail employee. A step down but she wont be doing a job as stressful alone, it evens out. Everything is in the works and the baker in training decides to quit. They had pushed her transfer date back a month to train the new one. Getting closer to transfer date and the acting GM at her Cafe is coming up with excuses to not transfer her.

He will do it tomorrow. Oh, he's never done one. Doesn't know how to do it. He's busy in meetings. Promise... promise... promise...

My sister has been sick, legit vomiting on account of how stressed she has become.

I talk to my GM again, this time with the proposal of them and us switching for her last week. My GM is as bullhead as I am and literally sat there texting back and forth until the other agreed. He kept coming up with excuses "she's become unreliable" "calls off" "don't want to send you a bad worker-" I tell her that I have to hold my sisters hair back while she pukes out of anxiety. I tell her "imagine your brother coming home everyday vomiting out of stress at a job he hates". My GM is not happy.

We talk cause he is hesitant having me bake at his Cafe "cause he knows I am not the one to mess with, he's afraid cause he knows he's treated her like shit and I won't put up with it" my GM agrees. She has worked that Cafe before and knows how draining and horrible it is. How lazy and u supportive the management is.

She laughing cause he says "he doesn't want you to fuck him over" now. Why would that be the case? If he didn't screw others over he wouldn't project that onto others or expect the same shitty treatment.

I promise to be as professional as I have always been. She knows I am good for it.

Yesterday (saturday) was the first day there. He is literally scrambling to not speak to me. The other manager is asking me about my sister and why she didn't want to be there anymore. Stress from the workload. Everybody knows this. She has been vocal about it and every manager knows that a bake of 2.5k requires two people. Being told her work is crap when she has 1yr of experience and is being compared to veteran bakers of 8+yrs and being lied to about receiving help.

They stutter about not having help themselves. I deadass look at him and let him know that is their failure. You interview people, lie to them about what they will be doing and then in turn treat them like crap when they come in. Nurture and help your employees grow, train them properly, schedule them the hours you promised and be there for them. Both my trainees roughed it out at that store out of loyalty to ME. Because I trained them. How many times did I get calls from them crying because they were stressed?

The manager shook his head and dropped it. Couldn't look me in the eyes. They've fucked up. I managed to get both of them back into my Market and into cafes where they won't be as stressed.

But I get to work. The management ends up scrambling to get me the numbers they need for their catering and add-ons. Once I bake a product I won't go back to re-bake more. The staff that don't know me come over to gossip, how they've tried to help the baker but they don't know what they are doing. If she could just do her job--

I smile, "imagine coming in and having to run the dining area on top of cashiering, oh and there's no help so on top of cashiering you need to run batista and stock, oh and don't forget we need help making sandwiches and salads too."

The woman looks stressed.

"Now after working your ass off you're told what a disappointment you are and you should have done better."

"But I cannot do all of that at once!!!" She stresses.

"But you expect this baby baker to do all of it without help?" I laugh as she stands there flabbergasted and the management team stays quiet. "This store is fucking pathetic, I wouldn't put up with it. MY management team knows how to handle their catering and numbers, not only that they support me and have no problems taking over. If you treat your people good they will return the favor, yes? Fair is fair right?"

She nods and shuts her fucking mouth. Walking away quietly.

One of the boys that already knows me is giggling and I see him, scream his name and we hug. Nobody else speaks to me.

Get my sisters name out your fucking mouth trash.

Sanji

On of my top character from one piece. People don't give him much credit that he deserves. I remember starting one piece and from his very appearance in Baratie arc, I fell in love with him. He is much more than the other strawhats. Like he's not easily predictable - you see, in a situation, most of the times you can guess how the other characs would react. Luffy will be exicted, Usoop would be excited and joining in Luffy's goofiness and a few second later would be scared (aah i love him sm). Chopper would be following their steps too. Nami would be shouting on them to keep it down or Nami and Usoop's duo would be doing their thing. (bahaha people don't talk about it but nami and usoop's duo is a banger). Zoro would be all calm. other characs etc etc yk right?. - However, Sanji displays the widest range of characteristics among the group. Sometimes he is calm and cool, sometimes he joins in the merrymaking with the goofier strawhats,(remember alabasta arc when they left vivi, how they were all lying around and expressing how they miss vivi and then having a go on zoro) or:

sometimes he is love obsessed, sometimes he is a bit of a trickster, sometimes he is stoic and serious, sometimes he can go into a rage, sometimes you can see he is genuinely emotionally hit by dramatic incidents, etc.

Let's not talk about the master mind he is; "Mr. Prince" (man i am still not over it. he was cool af aah..ik i'm down bad).

Despite all of this people just look at him as a comedic relief and a lovesick fool. He's not just the classical nose-bleeder, he has a depth to him. His lines on never hurting women are epic. (remember when in drum kingdom, chopper's island nami fell sick and they were to leave the ship, zoro and he were to stay back but he went. he carried nami all the way. and when they had to climb the mountain to the kingdom and luffy insisted on going alone, lets be real he could've done that alone but sanji still went)

Now lets not just talk about Nami or the Females. Remember when he kicked Luffy for starting to tell Usopp to leave.

He is one of the smartest characters of the crew, he has astonishing tactical abilities, he is one of the strongest despite fighting not even being his official role in the crew - when does he find the time to train? He, like Zoro, has displayed a true will to self-sacrifice and now that we know more about him, he has just overcome so much. He wasn't even talented at fighting when he was little, so he must've really given body and soul to it to be where he is now and we can assume he did for Zeff's sake. Not a part of him is egoistical, not even noble-egotistical.

In a world with stretchy arms, swords, weather stuff and giant reindeer, just seeing a guy light his leg on fire and go to town is great.

HE IS JUST SO GOOD!

um..well the anime watchers you should see the manga Sanji. he's a walking thirst trap. man oda has drawn him like the prince he is.

lets not talk about his fashion sense. man that button down shirt and him in a suit?? damn!

"are you sure you'll be fine?" he asked in the doorway of our bathroom "Yeah peach it's just a little cold promise" I said from our bed. i had been throwing up the past to mornings and a headache "i'll come back early today" "don't worry" he kissed my head "love you bye" "Love you" he walked out closing the door. I did not have a cold at all nor was I sick my period was late and Sean's Sean so me being pregnant was not unlikely. So I put some sweats on and grabbed my keys, I drove to the closed CVS and grabbed a test before going to the check out.

"Babe?" Sean said as I opened my car door "Sean what are you doing here?" I threw the bag into the car "getting me and the guys more Monsters I thought you were sick" he smiled "I am I came to get some sprite and bananas" I sighed and slightly smiled "okay," he said unsure "well i'll see you at home" he kissed my head "yeah!" I nodded.

It sat on the bathroom sink, me on the toilet cover. I was nervous you know Sean hasn't really said for sure that he wanted kids he had made comments how it would be nice but he didn't know how good of a dad he would be or if kids is really something he wants and he just feels he has too.

I sighed and and flipped the test 'Positive' I smiled "oh my god" my eyes started to water I slightly squealed. At this point I don't even really care what Sean has to say i'm super happy!.

I heard the front door open a few hours later, I put the test in my pocket and pretty much ran down the stairs. "sprite can do a lot I guess" he said putting his gym bag down "yeah," I smiled widely "come sit with me" I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the couch. "whats up?" he put his arm on the back of the couch "I have to tell you something! but don't be nervous okay?" "okay?" his brows going together "I don't have a cold the reason I was at CVS because i'm pregnant" I smiled "what?" "I got test this morning and its positive" "really?" I sighed and nodded he took a deep breath and put his head in his hands "sean your making me a little nervous" I whispered.

He looked up his eyes slightly watered "baby i'm so excited" he smiled I smiled back and wrapped my arms around him, he did the same "we have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning" I said kissed his cheek.

"you are about a month along!" the nurse said "really? that far?" I asked she nodded "sometimes it people don't know till they have a baby" I looked to Sean he pushed his brows together same as me "when can we know the gender?" he asked "well if you do a blood test you can find out in 9-10 weeks but it won't be for sure, or wait till 18-24 weeks" "how long is that?" Sean asked "like 4-6 months" I replied he groaned "thats a long time" I nodded.

We were driving back home in Seans Tesla which he was driving the speed limit which I don't think hes ever done before "when can I tell people?" he asked "after the first trimester which is three months" "why?" he held my hand "just to make sure gos right" he nodded and slightly bit his lip "i'll be okay promise Peach" I smiled and rubbed his cheek "k" he smiled.

Month 2 Weeks

"Babe where are you?" he said coming back from the gym "kitchen!" he came in "why are you up?" I giggled "i'm hungry and your hungry soo" "no go sit down i'll finish" "no it's fine" "go sit" "okay Peach" I softly grabbed his chin and pecked his lips.

I heard her turn her show on and get cozy on the couch. I finished up dinner and made her a plate and got her a drink, I walked around the couch "her-" she was dead asleep shes been falling asleep everywhere and anytime. She softly snored and brought the throw pillow closer to her, she sighed and slightly opened her eyes "is the food ready?" she whispered "yeah" I chuckled as she sat up and I handed her the bowl.

2 Months

"oh" the nurse said "what?" I asked Y/n looked up at me "nothing" the nurse added "you can't do that. is everything okay?" Y/n asked "i can't say but everything is fine health wise" Y/n looked unsure up at me as the woman moved the thing around on her stomach. The doctor finally came in "okay so I have some news for you guys!" she smiled "yes?!" Y/n said "you guys are pregnant with..Twins!" Y/ns mouth opened and laughed "I am?!" "she is?!" she nodded "they are both very healthy! there is baby 1 and right next to that is baby 2" she pointed on the screen, I looked down to Y/n with a wide smile on her face.

We walked out she was holding my hand and started slightly jumping up and down "i'm excited and Nervous!! oh my god are you excited?!" she looked up at me "i'm excited!" i smiled she smiled wider "I can't wait!" she grabbed the back of my neck pulling me down and kissing me.

3 Months

--Y/ns POV --

We invited all our close family to the house and we made dinner, no friends I was kinda tell mine at brunch in a few day and me and Sean are going to the gym together and tell the guys tomorrow. We were sitting at the table "here guys me and sean got you guys something" I smiled handing mine and his mom a envelope, they both opened them "oh my god really?!" my mom asked I nodded she hugged me "look it's twins!" dawn (seans mom) said she handed the ultrasound to Seans brother and SIL, she hugged me too "careful mom" Sean said as his brother gave him a shoulder pat. "I can bring you all the boys stuff like they're cribs and stuff" my sister said "i'll let you" she walked away "i'm not putting my kids in her hippy cribs" Sean whispered to me I looked up and smiled patting his chest "I know" he scoffed a laugh.

They had all left, Sean walked his brother out while I was cleaning up the plates and all the trash. "what are you doing?" he asked "cleaning up?" I shrugged "go sit down i'll clean up" "no its fine you did a lot of the cooking" I kept grabbing the plate "your also 3 months pregnant with twins so go sit down" he took them from me "fine" I went to the couch.

It was the next morning and we were getting ready for the gym, I put leggings and one of Sean's shirts. "I'm tired" I yawned "you want to stay home?" He asked coming up behind me "no I'm fine promise" "you sure?" I turned and wrapped my arms around his neck, I nodded he leaned down and kiss me moving his hands to under my butt "we're not gonna make it the way your kissing me right now" I said pecked his lips and moved away "is that so bad?" he said and shrugged "yes, come on" I called over my shoulder. I was about to go down the stairs he lifted me up "what are you doing!?" I smiled "no more stairs for you" I giggled.

He opened the car door for me and helped me out "thank you" he grabbed my hand "how do I tell people your pregnant?" "how ever you want to" "we did it so much that I finally knocked you up?" he smiled "I would perfer something else but thats fine" "i'll figure something else out" he laughed opening the gym door. Sean was pretty excited he was just about the only one in the gym with no kids, Chris just had a kid Eric has three. "hey Mrs. Strickland!" Eric said making me smile "hi coach Nicksick!" he smiled.

They were all standing around after wresting about to end "guys I got something to say," I watched most of the guys roll they're eyes making me smile "i don't know what to say but Y/ns pregnant! with twins" he smiled, they all jumped around him then they all came over and hugged me "do you know what they are?" Chris asked "next month!" he nodded "give us two more fighters" I chuckled "two more seans? I don't know about that" he laughed.

4 Months

I had on a light purple sundress Sean had on the same thing he wore everyday "is that good?" he asked setting up the camera, I nodded "perfect," I smiled "come on I can't wait!" he smiled and sat next to me. "what do you want?" he asked "boy and girl so I don't have to give birth third time" "i'll be happy with anything!" "now you make me sound like a bitch" "no" he smiled and rubbed my back. "baby B and I have Baby A" we both made a cupcake in front of us "ready?" he whispered I nodded we both smiled and bite our cupcakes, I pulled mine back Pink we both turned our cupcakes to each other both of our cupcakes were pink "oh my god!" I laughed wrapping my arms around him. He held me tight smiling "are you happy?" I whisper in his ear "baby i'm more then happy" I pulled back and softly grabbed his chin kissing him.

"give me all the names" Sean said as we sat on the bed

"April, Scarlet, blayke, Sage, Cleo , Anastasia and Sidney"

"blake? Thats a boy so no thats my veto"

"Okay" I chuckled "what would you chose?" he asked me

"I think Cleo and Sidney are cute"

"Sage and Sidney" I smiled "perfect peach!" he pulled me into him "I thought that would take longer" I nodded "I guess we're just better than everyone else" I shrugged.

"I got you something" Sean said from the front door "whats that?" I asked from the couch, he brought a huge amazon package to me "do we have room for this?" he nodded and handed me his keys to open the box "thanks". I opened it and pulled out a pregnancy pillow "oh my god I wanted this!!" I pulled it out laying with it "thank you peach!" he kissed my head "my lips" he smiled and kissed me.

6 Months

I sat on the floor of the girls room, in a pair of shorts and sports bra. It was hot as fuck in Vegas in the summer and I was trying to put these cribs together while Sean was training "this makes no sense!" I groaned throwing the info paper. I started to try again before sighing and going to get up, which I guess I couldn't do. So I laid back and grabbed my phone, the dog joining me.

"what are you doing?" Sean slightly chuckling "I thought I could put these together but I can't and then I got stuck down here" I groaned he laughed "come here" he stood over me as I put my hands out he pulled me up "thank you" I said tired he kissed me "how are all my girls?" "Tired and hungry and upset" I put my hands on his shoulders "why are you upset?" He rubbed my lower back "because I wanted to set they're room up" I pouted as my eyes started to water he sighed "I'll make you something to eat then set the cribs up while you nap okay?" I nodded and he pulled my head to his chest rubbing my back kissing my head.

I was sitting in our bed Watching TV and he brought me a big plate of food "thank you peach!" I smiled and he nodded and kissed me "yeah! I'm gonna go do the cribs k?" "You sure you don't need help?" "Yeah I'll get it done quick" "okay" he pecked my lips before going back into the girls room.

When I woke up later I grabbed my phone and checked the time '6:48pm'. I walked into the the room he had them both set up and a was putting sheets on they're small bed "you already finished?' I yawned "yeah! they look good right?" "they look great! thank you" "i'm gonna work on the shelves tomorrow my brother is gonna come over and help me" "your already such a good daddy" I smiled and leaned up and kissed him "thanks" he lightly blushed and looked down I kissed his cheek over and over.

8 Months

"you shouldn't go its to hot" Sean said putting his boots on "I like watching you do interviews though!" "I packed you a lunch if you still think you have to go" "you did?" I stood in front of him hands on my back he nodded "yeah and you need to take water" "I love you so much your so cute!" I kissed the top of his head. He opened his truck door for me helping me get in "here" he handed me a pillow and the lunch bag I smiled.

"did you want to get tea or something?" he asked "no i'm good thank you" I smiled "you sure?" I nodded and kissed his hand that he held. "Hi!" I smiled and hugged Nina "hi how are you?!" she smiled "i'm good you?" "great!". "Nina you have an extra chair for her?" Sean asked "it's fine babe I can stand" "you don't have to though" "yeah I have one" she said grabbing me one "thank you" I smiled. He brought me a water before going and sitting in front of the camera, "sean your gonna be a dad in like to months hows that?" "i'm happy yeah" he smiled and blushed lightly "what are you having?" Nina knew but for the interview "twins both girls!" "did you want a boy?" "yeah and maybe one down the road but i'm still very very grateful and happy about two girls" "are they gonna shoot?" he nodded "yes their mom does its only right" "how is Sean with you being pregnant?" she asked looking to me "10 out of 10," I smiled as she waved me over, he pulled me down on to his knee "he packs lunches and rubs my feet and puts cribs together. Hes great!" he rubbed my back "you heard it here Sean Strickland is in the kitchen" she laughed.

"are you going to the gym later?" I asked as we drove back to the house from Nina's "no," he shook his head "why whats up?" "I just wanted to watch movies tonight after I make dinner" "i'll order something or cook your to big to cook" I gasped "I mean it's hard on your feet and stuff" he smiled making me chuckle "i'll bet".

We were sitting on the couch Seans head by my stomach and his hand resting flat on my stomach while our movie played. A light kick landed on his hand "you feel that?" he asked sitting up slightly I nodded and smiled. This was his favorite thing laying next to me his hand resting on my stomach hoping to feel one small kick. He lifted the white T shirt of his that I wore and kissed my belly "your already such a good daddy" I smiled and rubbed his head he smiled shutting his eyes waiting for another kick.

9 months

I was hanging and doing last minute things in the girls room when I feel water go down my legs then a sharp pain "oww," I sat in the rocking chair "Sean!" he came in from his gun room "you okay?" he asked coming over to me missing the puddle of water "my water broke can't you see?!" "i'm sorry yes I see baby...come here" he helped me up "you think we should wait?" "no go right now" "you have to pay more" "I don't care" "okay I have to change can you put the bags in the car?" he nodded.

"I don't wanna do this" I said in the bed more pain shooting through me "okay" he ran his fingers through my hair and wiping the one or two tears off my cheeks. "i'd say twenty minutes till its time to push!" the nurse smiled "okay!" I smiled as she walked out "what if I can't?!" I looked up at him "your body is made to do this Y/n you'll do great! Promise" he rubbed my forehead.

"hi" they laid one on my chest "holy shit" Sean whispered "shes so cute" I smiled "heres your other one" they laid her on the other side of my chest. They cleaned them handed one to me and one to Sean "this is Sidney" Sean said holding her in his chest "yeah?" "yeah" me and him not taking our eyes off the babies we were holding "that means I have Sage..my baby Sage hi" I kissed her head he came and sat next to me still holding Sidney "they already look like you" he said and smiled "that means they're gonna act just like you" "let's hope not" "it won't be to bad" kissed sages head "wanna switch?" I nodded.

It was later and he was holding both of them "damn" he sighed and had small tears going down his face "peach" I rubbed his tears off his face "they're beautiful" I kissed his cheek "yeah they are" Sidney started to fuss I grabbed her from him "come here babygirl", I started to feed her "I need some milk too" he smirked "sshh" I giggled "your such a good momma" I smiled "thank you".

Transformers. I used to write for other fandoms many years ago.

LOL this is how all my stats look. The Echo Garden has a jillion more stats than everything else.

I don't have any fics with angsty endings, per se. But horrific or sad or horrifically sad... probably "Lightning Rod."

Plenty of them have happy endings! Probably Echo Garden wins here. I literally wrote the sappiest ending I could, then wrote the whole fic, wondering if I could get to a place where the sappiness was in character, and it was. bahaha

never got a flame on ff.net and I've never gotten hate on AO3 =)

The craziest one was a character from TFP going onto a vessel from MTMTE. It's a crossover from different parts of the TF franchise, but not a crossover between entirely unrelated franchises.

yes! there are 2 Russian translations and 1 Chinese translation for Echo Garden, and there is a Russian translation for the Rodimus/Megatron fic The Field Ballad.

sequel to Face The Past. I have a bunch of stuff written but will probably never get it together.

is this a contentious subject? o_O oh maybe for anime, putting random Japanese in?

in Transformers fics the "other languages" aren't real the way non-English languages are real, so I can't put them in without inventing them and then translating them anyway. I put those parts in italics and make it known to the reader what's happening. I think it's good for showing character or culture

I made my own Star Trek ship and crew xD

oh nuuuuu how am I supposed to piiiiiiick...

*sigh* I guess Echo Garden? it was extremely long and extremely indulgent. I held back a little, but overall I did almost everything I wanted to do. the length came from the indulgence.

when I realized I was reading fanfic, I was asking my friend sooo many questions about ACOTAR and she basically helped me tie the lore to the fics. I discussed how you wrote the characters and their personalities and she's like "that's literally them" so it's safe to say SJM does a good job

im uhhh (little embarrassing) I love monsterfucking lmao. so I was looking through the tag and found the fic where Rhys was in his beast form (link!) and the reaping one (link!) and vampire one (link!). so yeah, I went in pretty strong reading your fics

I cannot tell you how delighted I am that your first exposure to acotar was through beast!Rhys going feral for his wife 😌 I read through it today and I can imagine all those vauge snapshots of canon from Rhys's point of view must have been a little disorienting! But I'm also guilty of going into generic smut tags for monster smut, so I very much relate and I'm glad you accidentally stumbled across mine!

And as far as my smutty fics go, that's a good trio! The vampire Rhys fic is genuinely one of my favorites I've ever written 😂 Every time I reread it I'm like "wow I wish I could write like this again". I don't know what possessed LB that day but I'm glad she could be of service

I'm still so flattered that you've been talking about my fics with your friend, and I'm relieved your impressions of the characters lined up with canon! Do you think you'll ever end up reading the acotar books, or at this point have you just decided that you know too much? warnings: literally none bahaha, except like? me not knowing shit about how to play guitar so everything has been googled.

You slump your head backward, letting it rest against your boyfriend's shoulder, sighing as your body relaxes in his lap.

"I can't do this," You groan, exasperated. Eddie had been trying to teach you to play Black Sabbath's Iron Man for the last hour and a half now to just about no avail. It was like the guitar was allergic to you or something, he'd told you it was just about the easiest song to play on guitar, and yet, even with Eddie right over your shoulder, practically doing everything for you, you still couldn't get it right.

"Baby," Eddie chuckles, turning his head to smile down at you, "You've barely tried."

"It's already too hard," You shake your head, letting it thrash about on Eddie's shoulder.

"You can't give up just yet," He shakes his head back, "No one's going to become Jimi Hendrix in a day."

"Jimi Hendrix?" You repeat rhetorically, "I'm not even Sid Vicious!"

"Sid Vicious was a bassist, sweetheart."

"Yeah, my point exactly!"

Eddie chuckles, tightening the fretboard of his guitar in his hands as it rests splayed across your lap. Eddie looks over his shoulder watching as his hands move up the length of the instrument,

"Look, here, just hold the fretboard, just like I showed you, the 7th, then the 10th, then the 12th," Eddie encourages, pushing his shoulder forward to nudge your head upward, "I'll strum, you don't have to worry about that yet."

"Okay," You reply dejectedly, focusing your attention back on the guitar. You situate your hand back around the fretboard, letting your pointer finger press against the first string like Eddie had shown you. Seven, down three, down two you repeat in your head, trying to get down just where your fingers needed to be. After repeating the directions to yourself a few more times you nod to Eddie, letting him know you're ready. Eddie nods back with a smile, fiddling with the pick in his hands before he rests it against the strings of the guitar, signaling he was about to start strumming.

You turn your head to the fretboard, confirming your hand was indeed in the right place. You feel the string vibrate under your finger as Eddie moves his pick down the strings, but the sound is muted, only a small thump noise extends from Eddie's strumming. You sigh, having fucked something up once again.

"You're muting the string, baby," Eddie informs, his voice sweet and patient, "You gotta press down on it."

"What- I am pressing down on it?" You retort, growing confused.

"You gotta press down harder," He clarifies, moving his fingers so it rests on top of yours, "Like this," He presses his finger down on yours, pushing it against the string, causing the thin metal to push into your skin. Your face scrunches up at the feeling of your soft flesh being dented,

"That hurts," You wince, feeling a twinge against your fingers which are far too delicate, and the strings that are far too tough.

Eddie sighs, and you feel his breath tickle against your neck, causing your body to shiver.

"I know, baby," He coos, "That's why you gotta practice, so your fingers get tougher." He places a small kiss against your shoulder, "We can stop though, if you wan-"

"No," You shake your head, cutting him off, your growing frustration with your lack of comprehension for the guitar only making you grow stubborn about learning what to do, "I said I wanted you to teach me."

"Okay," Eddie nods, "How about, you strum, and I play the chords? We'll start with something easier."

"Yeah," You nod back, "That sounds good,"

Eddie transfers the pick from his hands to yours, the calloused pads of his fingertips grazing over yours just gently as the plastic changes hands.

"Okay," Eddie says, situating his body and aligning his fingers up with the first chord of the song, "You only need to strum the first two strings for this part, if you hit the other ones it'll sound wrong, think you can do that?"

"Sounds easy enough,"

"Yeah," Eddie smiles, "You got this," Eddie nods to you, signaling to you that he was ready for you to begin.

You look down at the strings, swiping the pick across the first two of the six, and suddenly the recognizable first note of the song rang out throughout the room.

"See," Eddie says, nudging his face towards you, his cheek rubbing against the side of your head, "Easy?"

"Yeah," You agree, "At least this part is,"

"Trust me babe," Eddie reassures, "The rest is a breeze, you'll be the next Jimi Hendrix in no time."

i’m here because i have no one to ramble to about good omens, but this question has been eating at me all day: who does aziracrow main in mario kart?

i think the obvious choice for aziraphale is peach, since she’s been an honorary gay icon since the 80s. she’s also soft, blonde, and perceived as a little ditzy, but can totally fucking WRECK SHOP and Kick Your Ass with a golf club or umbrella or literally just a frying pan.

crowley, though…i think adam invites him to play games with him (he pretends he’s never played mario kart before, but is actually cracked) and he insists he plays bowser—big scary fire-breathing lizard and all that. but in reality, he’s absolutely a rosalina main—tall awesome space lady whose duty is to protect the cosmos and the stars.

idk i need them to play video games! ty for listening and stoking the flames of my gomens fixation

Bahaha hello! I was thinking not too long ago that I wish I had a good excuse to make them play games, so this is perfect. Unfortunately, I can't remember what game I was thinking of at the time.

OK, first, this is all so so valid, but I must beg you to consider Crowley and the tire iron, which means they fight over who gets to be Peach before Rosalina shows up (and sometimes after, too, just for tradition's sake). Crowley has more fun coming up with reasons why Aziraphale should feel connected to all of the other characters ("I'm just saying, angel, Wario's mustache looks awfully familiar—") than he does actually playing. This is partially because if there's a way to cheat, Aziraphale's doing it and saying annoying things like "evil always sows the seeds of its own destruction" as if he didn't just use a minor miracle to get a perfect run.

Hard agree that Crowley will lie and say, "Bowser, duh" if ever asked by anyone else. Also, Aziraphale will say things ranging from "I've never even heard of such a thing as a video game. What did you expect?" to "I simply cannot get used to these new controllers. You'll have to be patient with me" if he actually abides by the rules and loses.

I buy "Muriel mains Toad" but only in the sense that Toad's their default choice if someone starts putting pressure on them to "pick a character already!!" I think they like to make sure every character gets chosen in equal amounts and spend a lot of time quietly trying to prove that everyone "has been resting on Dry Bones. Is that the right phrase?"

Also not that anyone asked but I think Aziraphale's pathway to this might have been: correspondence chess, then online tournaments, then other simple games with PvP or tournament aspects (he likes to win especially if it means someone else loses OK alskjdf), and then Crowley got tired of him devastating humans and then feeling bad about it ("I didn't know their perfect record mattered for their scholarship!! What am I supposed to do now? Start losing on purpose? That's dishonest.") and introduced him to tactics games. Then tactics games started having too much plot and dialogue and character development ("This is not how the written word was meant to be displayed."), so they ended up with games where Crowley gets to Go Very Fast and Aziraphale gets to win and it works for them.

6. What's something you have in common with this character?

Ed and i have lots of similarities, and they were pointed out by you most of the time. besides us being the oldest siblings in the family and being a mama’s child ( him being a mama’s boy and me being a mama’s girl.) we also share the long hair in braids deal.

Ed Is smart and is gifted and loves books, and learning new things, and while I never like to sound as if I brag but i too, share these qualities with him.

Ed Is angry, and i hate to admit it, but i am also an angry person at times- promise i am working in being a better person in that aspect 🫣 my boy LOVES stew, i LOVE LOVE stew as well, both of us are protective of our people, and we will both make sure to give our 100% when it comes to helping people. If we can help we will 200% help as much as we could. Also there is the part where we both will stay up late to get things done 😭

I just feel connected to that fierce alchemist dude, but these facts are what came to my mind right now!

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

i hate when they just make him angry all the time for no reason? Or when they make him yell or be mean for no reason at times. I dislike when people call him shrimp when he is short or when he is cocky? He is brash don't get me wrong, but i dislike it when people make it his whole personality without looking at the whys of him acting that way.

14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.

that is an easy one 😌😌

As a teen, the most famous outfit is the red coat leather pants outfit, and many would say that Ed is a punk- but to me, Ed is more of street style aesthetic, leaning lightly to punk when it comes to fabric texture and colors, tho we do see him in different outfits throughout the show/manga that scream “ street fashion.”

When he is a young adult, Edward is basically the Human of dark and light academia aesthetic. Shirts, dress pants, coats and sweaters alongside The calm colors and calm fabrics. They all play in showing how calmer Ed became during his late teen years and into his young adult years.

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

To me, i use Ed a lot to project who i am in fics. While still adding that Elric boyish ingredients when it comes to writing him,( that is of course if that portraying can be written in that specific plot. Not very Ed i wrote is a projection Ed don't worry!!!) Ed And i are alike, so it is so easy to write him. What i don't like is the same thing as what i dislike the fandom doing to him- angry and mean for No reason and when people call Him short. I don't know why people think it is funny to bully Someone when they clearly get upset 😭?

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like?

same things as writing, but i also love seeing how people explore his character and what headcanons they give him, and often times i adopt those headcanons and evolve them to go with the characteristics that i give him.

“Why do every time I come back late, you can never keep your damn mouth shut?”

It was anything but normal for Diluc to speak so harshly to you. You were his pride and joy, never would he want to do anything that would hurt you. But now, he had a point to not just teach you, but drill into your skull.

You had been patiently waiting for him to arrive home all night. It was nearly 2 am, and the winery was pitch black except for a candle which you had lit earlier. You were usually fine with his late night antics, but tonight, something about the thought of him nearly murdering other people just urked you.

Diluc opened the winery’s doors, drenched in blood. Luckily it was not his own, instead belonging to several Fatui camps he had wiped out earlier. Whether or not that was a good thing was for you to decide.

You hopped out of your chair and set down the book you had been reading, ready to welcome him in your arms. That was until you saw how bloody his coat was. Your arms instead slightly retracted, and the look on your face fell.

“Love, is something wrong? Did I do anything to upset you?” How doting Diluc always was. “I’m um, fine. Just why is there so much blood? Are you hurt?” “Not at all, I’m fine. Those Fatui however, aren’t doing all that well.”

Something about his tone simply scared you. It was threatening, maybe even a tad sadistic. Like he enjoyed killing, or as he liked to call it, “assisting in the departure” of a person. Diluc could tell you were at least a tad bit scared by the look on your face.

“My darling..” He took one step forward, while you took one step back. His face formed a large frown. “There is nothing to be scared about. In fact, I was out there protecting you. I expect some gratitude for my hard work.”

“Why do you have to kill them? Can’t you just give them minor injuries or something?” Your gaze was averted. Diluc was highly offended by this statement.

“Do you really think a minor injury is the key to protecting this nation? I take pride in my work, and all you are doing is diminishing it. I spend all night risking my life for you and everyone else's protection, and this is how you repay me? With fear and doubt?!”

You finally looked him in the eyes. They were filled with disdain and hurt. “Well, they were people too, and-”

“They were people on a mission to bring harm to others. I was doing the city a favor.”

“That doesn’t mean you have to stoop to their level! Why can’t you be the bigger person?”

His eyes widened as he slowly walked towards you. However, unlike last time, you stood your ground. He looked down on you and placed his hands on your shoulders.

“Why do every time I come back late, you can never keep your damn mouth shut?”

As soon as those words came out of his mouth, you bolted up the stairs to your shared room. With tears in your eyes you locked the door, shutting Diluc and his insane reasoning out of your thoughts.

You were always so sweet and affectionate to him, you deserved to confront him about your concerns. Maybe he was wrong, maybe just maybe had he been so blinded by revenge that his morals were twisted.

A knock was heard on your door. “Y/n? Love? Please open the door, I need to speak with you.”

You hesitated before opening the door, only barely cracking it to see his stoic expression. To others he looked bored or uninterested, but you could see the desperation in his eyes. You opened the door further to let him in.

Diluc ran inside the room and engulfed you in a hug. “Please don’t be angry at me, I didn’t mean it libeling I’ll be better. I swear” His words were spoken in a rush, he was always like this after a fight. It was cute in a sense, he was always desperate to ensure your happiness.

“It’s alright, Diluc. I don’t even know why I was so upset when I wasn’t every other night, it was stupid-” “Your concerns are anything but stupid, Y/n.”

He guided you to lay down on the bed, snuggling next to you. “I have taken your words to heart, and I realize your standing. Thank you for helping me gain a new perspective.”

“Of course, honey. Isn’t that what I’m here for?”

No matter what this man would do, your heart would always belong to him.

Diluc heard the door suddenly open. Thankfully, it was just Adelinde with two cups of piping hot tea. “Master Diluc, I see you two have reconciled.” She whispered, glancing over to your sleeping figure, cuddled up on Diluc’s chest. “Where would you like me to set this tea?” “Just on the bedside table is fine.”

She smiled as she watched him comb through your hair. You looked so peaceful, resting without a care in the world.

“Please take good care of them Master Diluc. They deserve it.”

“Thank you, Adelinde.”

As the maid quietly closed your door, Diluc looked down at your sleeping figure. Just how did he fall in love so deeply?

I have flipped the laundry and put the towels away and re-made the bed, I have made dinner and done a load of dishes, it's time for more She-Ra!

Man I am not going to screenshot all the things her face does in a few seconds, but remember waaaaaay early on when I was comparing their facial expressions when Catra and Adora hear each other's names, to that scene in Arcane where Vi realizes Caitlyn is into women, and Vi's face says a TON of things in 1.5 seconds? Adora's face here goes on a JOURNEY: confusion, shock (as shown above), anger, something I can only describe as "well I obviously have to rethink some things"/"maybe I've been wrong about her this whole time", some kind of fatigue tinged with regret, and then she slides down the wall to sitting.

It's just really well done.

Also I know there's a ton of videos showing the progression between Catra and Adora in the last season and I am forcing myself not to watch them or any of the meme videos until I AM DONE WITH THE SHOW because I don't want to dilute the emotional impact of watching them when I get to them.

Anyway Glimmer goes to apologize for the shit she did to make everything go to hell on Etheria, but then the ship goes bumpy bump and stops moving. But yeah Bow is keeping his distance from Glimmer right now.

So Glimmer sobs in Adora's arms instead. And the ship goes bumpty again. Entrapta says it's because they're out of fuel crystals but there's a planet with some nearby.

Aw there's a lovely interaction between Scorpia and Swift Wind back on Etheria.

Back to Space:

I've just noticed it looks like a ship anchor, which I assume is deliberate, since it would be Horde Prime's "anchor" on a planet.

Yeah Bow's still mad about it.

I love Entrapta (she's talking about how the old fuel crystals are probably fused to the engine by now)

LOL THE SHIP (Darla) RESPONDS "I do not feel pain" and Entrapta immediately smiles again "oh okay!"

*looks at Adora* *looks at Vi* *thinks about how I've wanted to cosplay both Catra and Caitlyn*

Anyway Adora fell in a hole

Glimmer: "Just stay put, we're coming. We'll have to find another way down." Adora: "I think I see a light. I'm gonna go towards it." Bow, freaking out: "Don't go towards the light!"

And Swift Wind does a little story-telling into the sky about how things are going on Etheria. It's cute.

And Adora gets in a fight with other people looking for fuel crystals.

They're also from a planet Horde Prime destroyed. Also it turns out the crystals are nearly impossible to get to.

and then "he has to pay for what he did! And he--he has someone on his ship. Someone I--" and she looks back and forth and then stands up straight again. "We're stopping him! Period."

BAHAHAH

"if your friend is with Horde Prime, it's already too late"

"I mean, she used to be, but that was a long time ago,"

"but then she saved Glimmer. And maybe that means there's still good in her, and now, I don't know, it's--"

BAHAHA (remember when that was a relationship option on facebook? "It's complicated"?)

(lol I accidentally closed the tab and had to reopen it and it wouldn't let me take this without the rating???)

Anyway they're all like, Nobody stands up to Prime and survives.

They all head out to find the fuel crystals but there's a bunch of earthquakes and they have to GET THE FUCK OUT, and as their only way out starts to collapse--

Adora manages to make a way out!

Entrapta is like, that was She-Ra, obviously

ANYWAY there's some lovely derring-do and Glimmer gets the fuel crystals, Bow saves her life a couple of times over, and everyone makes it out of the cave before it collapses. Then the star kids (who haven't seen magic in centuries) offer to join the cause.

Back on the ship, Glimmer does an amazing apology speech to Bow:

Glimmer: "Look, I know you're still mad at me. Maybe you'll be mad at me for a really long time. I deserve it. And maybe--maybe we'll--maybe we'll never be friends like we used to be. But I'm not going to stop trying to make it better. I made a mistake with the Heart of Etheria. I should have listened to you, and I'm sorry. You get to be mad, for as long as you need to be. But I'm not going anywhere. And when you're ready, I'll be here."

And Bow accepts her apology

And Adora watches, and then turns and looks out the window

Are you thinking of someone you'd maybe like to reconnect with? To maybe forgive? hm?????

LOL I SPOKE TOO SOON Bow and Glimmer notice the way Adora is staring into the stars and ask if she's okay

"and I know Catra was our enemy and she's done a lot of bad things, and hurt a lot of people, but--

the poor thing. she's so torn up about it.

Glimmer: "Whatever you need to do, I'm with you." Bow: "Then let's do this. Best Friend Squad style."

And there's a group hug.

AND SWIFT WIND FELT ADORA DO THE SHE-RA THING even if only for that few seconds, wooo!

Currently the body types won't assume a lot much more than the word and possibly synonyms to the word. That's because it's so subjective. So--if I were to make further content about it I probably will have to ask further questions about that setting <3 I do think it would be fun and interesting to do!

Elegant, is again, what you want it to mean. But generally I've heard it to mean semi-long limbs with "ideal" like proportions. And in mass perhaps somewhere between tall-athletic and lean. I personally think of grace kelly I think
