Rajesh Khanna's friend Bhupesh Raseen said "Amitabh Bachchan-Rajesh Khanna competition was a bit too exaggerated by the media".
"Cinema was changing in the 80s and obviously he could not oppose the change. He was never an action hero and if he wanted he could have tried his hand at it. But, he never wanted to do films for just the heck of it. In fact, I distinctly recall how he avoided signing films after his comeback in 'Avtaar' and 'Souten' in 1983; both those films did very well but a few after them did not and he chose not to pursue acting anymore. As for his equation with Bachchan, I think I saw them pretty warm towards each other not just on-stage at the IIFA Awards in Singapore in 2012 but also off-stage." Courtesy- Nadeem AB

Since adipurush made everyone talk about Ramayan; here's a rant of my own.
WHY do we scorn Vibhishan? Ghar ka bhedi, step brother, traitor, what haven't we called the man who found dharma and hence Narayan Avtaar Shri Ram? The man listened when no one else did, he realised what and who was right, if he already hadn't. Vibhishan's tale is what happens in Kaliyug, a person on the wrong path by association and ignorance corrects his path by finding God. Why is he scorned for choosing a side that is morally correct? And even if you want to say he's half asur or whatever and he has no morals, or maybe you say that he only grew a moral compass when he was about to die, but what of it? If you were fighting a war that you did not cause and you knew was unjust, why would you fight for the losing side? Being logical may or may not be selfish but it is completely understandable. Vibhishan was a man that helped win the war marginally. He helped kill his brother, his anguish is unparalleled, but remembering a man of honour and righteousness as a traitor, aren't we doing injustice to a man that was a fellow devotee? That went against his dharm as a brother to obey is dharm as a being?

Story behind Sri Hari Vishnu’s Vithoba Avtaar
The saga of Pundalik is one of the most important Mahimas (legends) about Vithoba (Bhagavan Vishnu/Panduranga). Pundalik is a devoted son to his parents Janudev and Satyavati, who lived in a forest called Dandirvan. But after his wedding, Pundalik begins ill-treating his parents. Tired with their son’s misbehavior and ill-treatment, the elderly couple decide to leave for Kashi. Upon hearing his parents’ plans, Pundalik and his wife decide to join them on pilgrimage. While the youthful son and his wife ride on horseback, the frail old couple walk in bad weather and the ill-treatment continued. Every evening, when the party camps for the night, the son forces his parents to groom the horses and do other jobs.
On the way to Kashi, the group reaches the ashram (hermitage) of a pious and venerable sage, Kukkutswami. Exhausted, the family decides to spend a few days there. That night, when all were asleep, Pundalik by chance is awake and sees a remarkable vision. Just before dawn, a group of beautiful young women, dressed in soiled clothes, enter the ashram; they clean the floor, fetch water and wash the venerable sage’s clothes. After finishing their chores, they go to the prayer-room. When they reappear after prayer, their clothes are spotlessly clean. Then, they vanish as inexplicably as they had appeared. Pundalik feels a deep sense of peace witnessing the scene. It remains on his mind the whole day and he resolves to remain awake the next night, and confirm it was not merely a dream. Pundalik is very curious and approaches the beautiful women and asks them of their details. They reply that they are the Ganga, Yamuna and other holy rivers of India. Pilgrims wish to take a dip in their holy waters to wash away their sins, and that is soiling their clothes. Then, the women say: “But O Pundalik, with your ill-treatment of your parents, you are the greatest sinner of them all!”
Pundalik is utterly shocked and his conscience transforms. He realises his misdeeds, becomes entirely devoted to his parents and ensures their comfort. Devotion in any form reaches God swiftly and impressed by Pundalik’s devotion to his parents, Lord Vishnu plans to bless and pays a visit to Pundalik’s ashram.Vishnu knocks at Pundalik’s door, while he is busy serving his parents. Pundalik does realise that God is at his door, but such was his devotion to his parents, he wants to complete his duties and then attend the visitor. Then, Pundalik does something strange but out of real devotion. He pushes a brick outside for God to stand on and wait for him until he finishes attending to his parents.Seeing this act, Vishnu is extremely pleased and the ever-loving God waits for his devotee. When Pundalik comes out, he begs for pardon from the Lord but far from being displeased, Vishnu is overtaken by Pundalik’s love for his parents and grants him a boon. Pundalik requests Vishnu to stay back on Earth and bless all his devotees. The Lord agrees to take the form of Vithoba, or God who stood upon a brick (brick aka Vith), and a temple was built there. Along with Vithoba, Rakhumai (Rukmini, the consort of Krishna) is also worshipped here.

*Almighty God Kabir Parmatma's departure to Satlok Bodily*
Who is the Absolute Supreme/ Imperishable God who never takes birth from the mother's womb, neither dies, Who Incarnates with a body, departs with a body?
Supreme God Kabir Saheb comes in every age,but does not take birth from mother's womb, He Incarnates with body, departs with body. He comes from Satlok and appears in the form of an infant. By removing the evils spread in all religions, by Imparting true devotion, by erasing the difference between caste and religion, He establishes one human religion.
505 years ago, Kabir Sahib was departing to Satlok, at that time Hindu-Muslims were getting ready to fight over Kabir Ji's body, then Kabir ji explained that my body will not be found, whatever you get, divide it in half. Fragrant flowers were found in place of His body. Even today there is evidence of this in Maghar. There, both Hindu and Muslim have built memorials at the same place.
Supreme God Kabir Sahib appeared on a lotus flower in the Lahartara pond of Kashi on Shukla Purnmasi Vikrami Samvat 1455 (year 1398) of Jyestha month and went to Satlok in body from Maghar on Shukla Ekadashi Vikrami Samvat 1575 year 1518 of Magh month.
Apart from Kabir Saheb, all the Gods and their Incarnations are in the Cycle of birth and death. That means they are not imperishable.
Kabir Sahib's Says that :
Ram Krishan Avtaar hain, Inaka Nahi Sansar.
Jin Sahab Sansar Kiya, So Kinhu Na Janmya Naar..
That is, all the incarnations of the Trinity Gods (Rajgun Brahma ji, Satgun Vishnu ji, Tamgun Shiv ji) and their father Brahm (Kaal) are also in birth and death.
While Supreme God Kabir Dev / Kabir Saheb is imperishable, He is beyond birth and death, He is the creator and Master of all .
There is Speech of Divine God Kabir Sahib
Kabir, Na Mera Janm Na mera Garbh Basera Balak Ban Dikhlaya
Kashi Nagar Kal Kamal par Dera Tahan Julahe me Paya
505 years ago Supreme God Kabir Saheb had appeared in the form of an infant on a lotus flower in Lahartara pond in Kashi in the year 1398. From there the childless couple Neeru Neema had taken Him. At that time God had lived for 120 years and propagated True Spiritual Knowledge to His beloved souls He also Opposed social evils and hypocrisy. By erasing casteism and communalism, He tied everyone into One thread of Humanity.
In 1518, Almighty Kabir Sahib went to His own abode, Satlok with Body. And avoided the fierce civil war between Hindus and Muslims .
Kabir Parmeshwar had said that when 5505 years of Kalyug will pass, then I will come again on the earth and Will destroy all religions / sects and make them one.
