fun discovery from today's internet rabbit hole:
the first lesbian magazine published in the US, Vice Versa (1947-48), was entirely hand-typed by one Edythe Eyde (better known by her pen name Lisa Ben - yes, that IS an anagram for lesbian). she worked as a secretary with a ton of spare time on her hands, and her boss would tell her he didn't care what she was doing so long as she "looked busy"... so she decided to use her free time to type out copies of a home-made periodical for lesbians, writing most of the content - editorials, book/film reviews, poetry, short stories, and more - herself!
overall, the magazine ran for 9 issues, 16 hand-typed copies of which lisa would mail to friends (well, until one of them advised her she could be arrested for sending "obscene" materials) and distribute at lesbian bars :)

Man, Damien is really complimentary of Angela, even more so than with the rest of his castmates (except Shayne.)
On the other hand, I remember seeing you say that Angela is also trying to impress Damien, but I guess I just don't see it. I only saw her being bored/weirded out/put off by him.
Damien does a great job complimenting most people at Smosh, Angela included (he's done it quite often)
Interesting that you think she's weirded out/put off by him? That's not how I see it at all.
She is a little careful(?) around him maybe? But she's by no means put off by him. I think she really enjoys him! (she wouldn't make fun of him as much as she does if she didn't find him fun) I think what you're picking up on is them trying to find their footing with each other.
They haven't known each other very long, and Angela is a BIG personality, (Damien has the label of 'sensitive' it seems, with Olivia joking about him not liking loud noises and such at his Funeral (neurodivergence anyone?) and with Angela being a bit of a loud person I get why she seems a little different compared to when she's with some of the other cast members. I think she's trying to be conscious of being 'too much' to him. (if you think about it, it's actually very sweet of her)
Angela is more obvious to me about how much she likes Damien actually! I feel very similar to her so maybe I can see her way of caring about him better? Personally, if I feel very fond/close to someone I have the need to ruthlessly make fun of them. I can't help it, and I don't think she can either. (he makes fun of her too, which would only make me want to make fun of him more lol)(i.e. why I say they are cat & mouse)
That's how I see their relationship. It's in how often she brings him up and how often she dresses up as him that really let me know she thinks he's cool. She's a theater kid, she loves dressing up! She does it so often as Damien because she really thinks he's interesting!! (he's quite the character in her mind)
Also they literally said they loved each other in their Reddit Stories lol, I don't know how you could think she was 'put off' by him.
(a couple examples of Angela being nice and caring to Damien-> the Christmas Event™ (you don't tell someone how much you love and appreciate them like that just because you are drunk lol), The Don't Win Charity Live (1:37:20) where she apologizes for being rude and tugs on his ear(???) -are a couple off the top of my head)
(but to you're point, she doesn't really try to impress him, more so just tries to rile him up and get his attention lol)

Random Ramble
I think it is hilarious how some people are so aggressive about sticking so thoroughly to canon, and not allowing for any room for imagination, because like, my brother in christ, canon does not exist.
None of these are real, the characters are not real, the story is not real. There is no such thing as canon.
There is only such thing as the op. The one who originally made the story and the characters, which is why we have copyright. So that no one can *make money off of these characters and the story*
But so long as you aren't plagiarizing the story in order to make your own money off of it. Once these characters are published and, in the world, everyone has free reign with them.
Once they are in your head, they are your characters. Which is why people interrupt their actions differently. Because the characters will appear different in your head compared to anyone else, including the author.
Idk the origins of the term canon, nor have I done any research on the topic (I'm just rambling) but tbh in my eyes it appears like we as a society have allowed money to ingrain itself so deeply into us as people, that we allow to dictate what we think. And this goes for the idea of canon.
Because the actual author is one making money off the books (rightfully so) it has become a sort of, is their way or the highway (this is just a half-thought through theory btw don't take it too seriously)
Which is why I personally love to take said characters and do whatever the fuck I want with them. Because whatever I make them do is in character for me, and even if it isn't, it might be for someone else. Because while they are in my hands, they are my characters.
Consider this a freedom post. You are free to think whatever the fuck you want, none of these people are real. Make Elain a villain, give Kosechi a love interest, make Feyre and Tamlin get back together after she divorces Rhysand. It doesn't matter what the og author thinks, so long as you aren't making money off these characters, you can do whatever the hell you want with them.
And I don't mean make theories crack, I mean you are allowed to genuinely believe this is the best course of action, even if you know the og author won't take it that way.
Cause personally, I do think Tamcien is a plausible ship, and I hope it happens in canon. Do I think it will? No, but Tamlin and Lucien are my characters when they are in my head, so I am allowed to think whatever the fuck I want about them. And same goes for people who disagree with me.
Like some people want Lucien to take over the world, I do not. Some people want Tamlin to die, I do not. Some people want a myriad of things that I do not, and both of those ideas are in character, so long as they are in your head.
Make elriel your canon, make elucien your canon. Fuck it, make Rhysand/Beron your canon.
The only person judging you in the voice in your head, and people on the internet and who gives two fucks what they think. Get as weird as you want, it's all canon, cause none of this is real.

charles the mole npc is SO suspicious genuinely.
ok sure. maybe it's a coincidence that he works in gaster's invention and references "FUN"
but
why does he know this.
even spamton references it:
how does charles know to prepare for "the winter?" why does he even use weird route dialogue to lampshade it?
and i wonder, does "bullking up" have anything to do with a "workout-ready body"?
idk. Mole Interest here for sure
