What, again? Arbor day is celebrated during different times of the year in diferent places depending on when the best time to plant a tree is for that area, so I decided to celebrate it twice this week with two diferent Huey posts!
Happy Arbor Day! 🌲 Flashback Friday to a month ago: Joyful Trees (Arbores Laetae) installation by architectural group Diller Scofidio + Renfro at Oil Street Art Space, Hong Kong, featuring 16 Chinese Junipers, three of which are placed on rotating planter box turntables at a 10-degree tilt. // (c) Jenny Lam 2024
Today we recognize the positive effects of the trees surrounding our slopes. They give us oxygen, help keep the soil in place, house wildlife, AND look really pretty. Yay, trees! You're awesome!
Love always,

this is a movie for Arbor Day. it’s about two hot bisexuals who have a chance encounter at the lake, they go swimming together and it’s great. But they had to take off their prosthetic legs before swimming and accidentally put on the wrong leg and don’t notice right away. They figure it out on their respective flights back to their East/West coast homes (they met at an undisclosed National Park in Middle America). the bulk of the movie is both of them trying to figure out how to get in touch with the other but also inexplicably getting flashes of the other’s feelings because they are now Tangled through their Limbs. in the end they meet up and exchange legs and are in love.
The C.O.R.D. Biquarterly druidry newsletter is now accepting reader-submitted contributions over the next week for the Beltane issue 3.6 live on May 1.
There will also be a special edition 3.6.1 shortly after the weekend ending May 7 recapping the upcoming anniversary gathering, plus any late contributions (including news of YOUR Beltanes, because ANYONE can celebrate this milestone, each in their own way). The Reformed Druids have always been inclusive!
