47. What was this character’s biggest turning point in their life, something that changed them almost completely? (Yra?)

I want to say that would be when she decided that when she was old enough she would completely cut herself out of her parents' lives. And then followed through with it. She methodically did everything she could to get what important documents she needed, changed any and all money she had to a different bank... etc. Yra was determined that this was what she needed to do but she was still scared. And it was hard. She didn't have anyone to help her, no one to talk to, and she had to do everything on the down low. She'd had some experience doing this already, but this was so much bigger and so much more final than just hiding clothes and trinkets and music from her parents. She was also afraid that if she failed, she'd never get out from under her parents control.

And that led to her living on the streets for a while. That changed her too. Sleeping in trees or on ledges of houses where the rain wouldn't get to her in her tiny form until she found a job and was able to find a shelter she could stay at for the time being....

Yeah. I'd say all of that changed her a lot.

Had the thought that Swap Tatiana (still known as Kul Fyra) would still have her mom alive, but then I realized that most likely Cyril wouldn't have been born if that's the case.

Well it would be like that if Alyona stayed with Matvey if she lived. So most likely I can see her living, coming home to see how Matvey has been treating Tatiana/Kul Fyra, and leaves with her daughter to live with her sister/her side of the family.

Matvey still meets his second wife, has Anatoli, and Cyril is still born at some point.

The amount of displeasure I have with Aegon’s character is immense. Why wasn’t a absentee dad that spent his time drinking and whoring but when the going got tough came back to defend his family to the death not enough? Why do we need an even worse version of Mushroom’s account of Aegon???

They made show Daemon a lot less creepy (still creepy and should be in jail) than his book counterpart. In the books, that brothel scene happened when Rhaenyra was 13/14!!! And the line about him wanting maidens 🤮

I don’t have high hopes for Dalton’s character either. In the books he’s the Red Kraken cause he kills so many people and by the age of 19 he had 22 salt wives, better known as women forcibly taken from their homes to be raped and serve as servants. He was killed by a girl only known as Tess while he slept and she disappeared to the sea like an avenging mermaid! (Mermaid Tess headcannon?) and the iron islands were wreck by Tyland Lannister’s widow Joahanna Lannister who wrecked their shit! This is the true story of women fighting back against their oppressors in the dance. Tess is one of the bravest characters in the story and deserves to be represented as a woman getting justice on her abuser instead of a jealous girl killing her lover. I really hope they don’t make Dalton a Casanova archetype and really focus on the horror raiding does to people.

Blood and Cheese are the absolute worst. Killing a kid, forcing a mother to choose between her children, and forcing a grandmother to eat this horror is some of the worst things anyone can do to people. This is on Daemon and they better not turn it into Mysaria doing the whole thing or Jaeheary’s death being an accident.

But my hopes aren’t high. Even if the show shows these subhuman monsters as what they truly are, some fans will thirst for these cretans. I can only hope it’s a small and ostracized minority who know they are terrible characters instead of justifying their actions, but again, my hopes are low.

Also I stand by Criston Cole being raped by Rhaenyra. I was a Resident Advisor in College and we taught that any sexual activity without enthusiastic consent is rape. Criston was not enthusiastic and he never verbally consented.

I hope the show can actually engage with the themes it’s bringing up but the show runners seem willfully blind to their own story.

Hi! In your NSR swap AU, does Sayu still go by ze/mer? Since ze is clearly not a mermaid but a tree person… maybe ze/fir instead?

But uh, I'm thinking of redoing my entire Swap AU, so I don't know if Sayu would still be a plant elemental. I honestly don't like the direction I took with Eve, Sayu, and DJSS. Or at least I don't like their designs all that much anymore (Sayu's I do like but the concept itself I want to change).

I feel like I leaned way too heavily on swapping characters with personalities AND themes. Making it seem like characters are mashing together and overlapping in certain aspects, making them seem less unique to each other.

I do definitely want to keep Sayu as a plant elemental, or something close to that, so ze/fir would be amazing pronouns! So yeah! ze/fir plant Sayu for the win! :D

The world felt like it was going in slow motion, as though time had stood still to allow you this moment of peace. A moment to reflect.

A mere second in time where you can cherish the weight of what just happened, or what was still happening. Daichi’s hand felt comfortable in yours, the steps you were both following rehearsed for months before. Your first dance.

The time before this moment felt like a whirlwind, almost as though Daichi had swept you off your feet and you had been floating along ever since. The button felt heavy on your chest, the weight of it telling. Your first meeting was far from perfect, it felt rushed, yet here you both were. Years later and still just as in love as you were back then.

You couldn’t believe you had just graduated high school, your mind was flooded with thoughts of the future as you exited the stuffy hall. Although it was eased by the fresh air that hit your face, as well as multiple cherry blossom flowers that had fallen from the trees above.

You watched as people around you hugged relatives, friends and high school sweethearts. All celebrating the future ahead, although there was something nagging you. Not allowing you to celebrate just yet.

You felt lost, like you had no idea what the future would hold. You weren’t ready to leave this part of your life behind. As your eyes passed over the students celebrating, it fell upon the gym. The one place in the school you found held the fondest memories, where you spent the majority of your time with your friends.

As you started to reminisce, a figure interrupted your thoughts.

“Y/N-chan, congratulations!” Daichi smiled as he spoke, his cheeks dusted a light shade of pink. Almost matching the cherry blossom flowers that had been swept into his hair by the wind.

“Thank you Daichi-san, congratulations to you too!” You giggled slightly as you reached up to pick the flowers out of his hair, causing his cheeks to heat further at the gesture.

You watched curiously as he reached down and took the second button off his uniform, handing it towards you sheepishly. Your eyes widened at the gesture, your own cheeks heating in response.

“I-” He stopped as if to consider what he was about to say before getting the courage to continue. “I really like you… I just wanted you to know before we both graduate and I regret not saying anything.” He finished, playing with the button in his hands nervously as he awaited your response.

“You okay there babygirl?” Daichi whispered down at you, seeing you clearly lost in thought. Other people are now surrounding you on the dance floor, your choreographed routine now reduced to gentle sways with your new husband.

“I’m perfect…” You whisper back, an adoring smile gracing your features at the memory.

“So you’re not reconsidering?” He teases in a hushed tone, angling himself to press a chaste kiss to your lips.

“Definitely not…” You hum, as your hand comes to grasp fondly the button that was sitting as the pendant on your necklace. Daichi just smiled at the small gesture, pressing a kiss to your forehead as you both swayed, wishing to stay in this moment forever.
