It is hard to explain as there is a lot of context, but basically there was MASSIVE amount of closed offices and firing employees all of a sudden. The simplest I can put it is "idiots no longer know what else to save money on as they don't realize that post is a meaningful service, not business".

Okay, technically it was my choice to leave because there was a pickle between me and a person that needs this job more, but in most cases the 'me or you' choice is not a REAL choice, you know. I am..... not sure what to do now though, because since forever this was the last job that was always GUARANTEED to need workers, so now there is no sure place to go to...

And don't hurry to offer me money for art commissions to support me in the meantime (yes, all two people who like my art!). Because of my uh...... NOT SO LUCKY geolocation, to say so, I am not able to get any international money transfers, sooooo yeah.

Right after February ends, I am free. But that freedom is not desirable one because I'd like to have money for my needs, so hopefully not for a long time. Ngl deep down I am even glad that I get a 'vacation' so soon, but... damn, I am full of mixed feelings.

Hopefully it is an opportunity to find a better place, I didn't like this job very much anyway despite being better than my coworkers at it :thinks:

I only draw once in a blue moon so I don’t think I’m ‘enough of an artist’ to sell things. Got a couple of requests for prints and I was toying with the idea of setting something up and have any small profit go to a charity or support. Still looking into it. But always check with artists about their art because each will work differently and any support and visibility will always be bigger than people think.💟
