I recently posted these screenshots from old horror movie trailers and you guys seemed to like them. I had been re blogging them with more but the post was getting pretty lengthy, so I'm just gonna make separate posts from now on with a bunch of them on each. Here you go!

"They Saved Hitler's Brain" (1968), considered one of the worst movies ever made, was frequently referenced in a running joke on the Simpsons.
It was referenced in a video game:
Tumblr media
Hitler's head in a jar was a background gag on a few occasions:
Tumblr media
Abraham Simpson, when he was the leader of the Fighting Hellfish, had a clear shot on Hitler, and said "now they'll never save your brain, Hitler!"
Tumblr media
Hitler, it should be remembered, was the previous owner of Maggie's bear, Bobo, who he blamed in the bunker for his downfall:

The year is 1959 and everything’s a-okay in the picture-perfect suburb of Senita Valley, Arizona. The weather’s been nice, a block party’s scheduled for next weekend, and everyone’s having a nice quiet Sunday until.... NEPTUNE ATTACKS!!! And nobody on earth can stop them– except for the Senita Valley Ladies' Brunch Club!
While they usually just spend their meetings gossiping and swapping recipes, today they're fighting back with whatever they have on hand. Who says the Brunch Club sits around doing nothing, huh?
These are redesigns of some old, OLD characters and I'm honestly super happy with them. They'd ideally be part of a cartoony FPS video game, or maybe just a set of trading cards.
