Over the next two months, pet parrots made 147 deliberate video calls to other birds. Their owners took detailed notes about the calls and recorded more than 1,000 hours of video footage that the researchers analyzed. For starters, they found that the parrots took advantage of the opportunity to call one another, and they typically stayed on the call for the maximum time allowed during the experiment. They also seemed to understand that another live bird was on the other side of the screen, not a recorded bird, researchers say. I kinda want to make a more coherent doc abt my personal aasimar lore (a mix between canon dnd n my own insane musings)

-all, if not most aasimars are immortal

-most aasimars are born not of human form. They learn and adapt

-wings! Wings and feathers! aasimars are almost always directly have specific bird features, with feathered ears or just winged ears. With their god almost like their retainer

-they are created by a deity, often with a direct purpose to be fufilled

-aasimars become “fallen” after forsaking their duty/purpose or other wise act in a way that is disagreeable to their deity (or for some aasimars, their deity sees fit for other sort of punishment… aka. Forcibly amputating their wings)

-fallen aasimars are not made of anymore darkness than anyone else, they are simply either severely lacking in their light or completely lack it all together

-scourge aasimars are an over abundance of light, something went wrong with their creation. There is a little too much divinity in them

-guardian aasimars are the perfect middle ground
