Hazel's gaming upload blog for photos and videos. Probably gonna end up being 90% Nintendo based games, at a guess. all reblogs will probably go through my main blog, handily linked on my blog.
Portals got... it feels in range of about 9,000 health. and that's just these small ones, later stages have larger ones with more health. rightfully so, since destroying them is the goal of the stages they show up in.
at least they got that nice big explosion on destruction.
this floor gave me the most trouble in the 10s, but it's really not the worst. worst comes to worst, this is just a check for how quick you can get the special meter built.
also, Big Man's Palette. it's a surprise tool that will help me later.
Jelletons, especially the basic three- Swarming Languendo, Marching Andante, and Battering Lento- have a similar amount of mobility as Salmonids, so Inklines are a good friend.
Parallel Canon has some very neat things going for it: the primary one matching the hairstyle of Agent 4 in your Splatoon 2 save file, each one matching the number of chips you got, pretty great concept.
it's also the only boss i clipped this intro scene of, so.
Asynchronous Rondo definitely gave me the most trouble as i learnt it. it does a lot, and this strategy of hiding back here works well for the splat bomb dump it does.
i've noticed lately that King waves can spawn multiple bosses of the same type, and their targeting is a bit off. i don't think two Steel Eels would normally target me this early.
at this point, i'm really sure that Maws are noticeably quieter compared to 2. i think i can only really hear them if there's nothing else really going on.
