Money In The Houses 💴

To be precise each house can show you something about money, for an example your 6H can show daily services you subscribe pay for like Netflix or HBO. but there are 4 primary houses that specifically focus on and show us about money these are: The 2nd house, 5th house, 8th house and 11th house. They all show resource accumulation in different ways. 2nd house and 8th house are the main houses to focus on for money astrology, secondary would be 11H and 5H then all the other houses have their own subtler money relevancy.

2nd house, The house of Values and Possessions, it shows:

stored wealth like income, earning potential, salary, savings, assets, possessions (like jewels, cars)

- how you spend

- how you earn

- the kind of assets and possessions that you own

- what you spend on

- how you perceive the value of money

- how you save

- The skills and talents you use to make money for yourself

- the state of your financial stability

- Your attitudes on saving

2nd house is money earned through your own personal efforts, the skills that you have, your blood sweat and tears. Money here is made through you and your efforts alone. It is long lasting assets and the kind that are considered when calculating your net worth.

Look at sign ruling this house and the planet. Do they work well together or contradict each other? E.g a Virgo ruled second house with Uranus inside has two energies that contradict one another, Virgo needing to be picky on purchases VS Uranus being impulsive and purchasing what it wants so when these two energies work in the same building you may even feel bad for purchasing things before doing research on it and get disappointed with your purchase because you just went for it in the moment

Finding where the 2nd house ruler planet is in the chart shows the best topics, best places , best way you can earn money that’s beneficial to you.

Eg. If your 2H was in Virgo, look at 6th house what’s inside of it? And where mercury is in your chart. Mercury (ruled by Virgo) in this case shows you how you can can excel in an industry under the topic of the house it’s in. Whereas the 6th house and The planets that would fall into the 6th house, would indicate industries you’d do well in that are a combination of the planets in there and what kind of work you could do/what planet energies you can emphasise to gain more money on your career based on the 2nd house.

5th house, the house of Gambling and risky investments, it shows:

investments in startup companies ,gambling, investing in penny stocks

- how much you may make from investing, gambling and creative endeavours

- Money made from personal hobbies, creative talents and projects

- how lucky you are at earning money from risky investments

- Your approach to gambling

- How you spend resources on leisure activities and entertainment

- Attitudes on risky spending/gambling

- The outcome of your gambling and risky investments

This would be your trading 212 and creative artist placement. I can imagine people that invested in crypto currency back in 2008 and people that purchased nfts having this house active. 5H placements can make you lucky in the industry you are in, it can give you that boost in industries that require you to need to have luck or attention to make it. This can be entertainment stars, the lottery, entrepreneurship or just being really blessed with income from taking risks for fun. I’ve noticed natives with this house active tend to be successful businesses investors, gamblers, fashion designers, actors and artists, because these industries also require a bit of luck to make it, that’s why it’s also known as thie “star” house for celebrities. If planets here are beneficial native just happens to have the right things happen for them at the right time.

11th house, the house of tangible material gains:

ready to be spent wealth like, liquid cash, profit, products (clothing, food), promotion from work

- money made from your public image and things your known for (fame)

- Your financial status and social standing

- How you can gain profit and wealth online

- Money made from your ideas, goals and inventions

- How money comes easiest to you

- The type of resources acquired from

- What part of our lives we may live in luxury or can afford to spend more on (E.g 11H sag being luxury travel)

11H is on hand liquid cash, things like stocks , disposable income, the tangible stuff that you can actively spend, it’s pretty unexpected too like 8th house except 8th house income comes from places you didn’t know about but 11H gains come from sources you always knew about but are just suddenly now benefiting you out of nowhere. You know how some people can be famous and still be broke, with a prominent or beneficial 11 house, you automatically get money along with the attention from their public image. This is because 11H is naturally the representative of social connections, networking and communities but also because of derivative astrology

The 10th house represents your career, public image and the 2nd house represents money/finances so you count 2 houses starting from 10 using Derivative Astrology (10 => 11) meaning the 11th house represents money made from our career and public image. This is why this is known as the influencer house.

People tend to use their fame and wealth from this house to start businesses. This house works really well with 8H because it kind of forces other people to acknowledge you. It’s a little different from the 5th house in terms of getting money from your inventions -In the sense that the very concept behind your creations bring you material gain whereas 5th house are blessed for expressing themselves and in risky situations (not strictly exclusive to creative arts, but the art industry is naturally a hit or miss industry). This house is very similar to 2nd house however I’d say 2nd house is more long term but 11H is quick and easy, makes you appear wealthy like rappers and celebrities living a lavish lifestyle but don’t have something to fall on if it runs out. 2nd house is longevity and allows a native to live off their assets if necessary.

8th house, The house of inheritance, joint resources and investments, it shows:

inheritance, debt, taxes,investors, gifts, joint resources,insurance, the money people owe you

- how much resources you receive from other people

- How much assets, money and resources you may share with others and inherit

- The individuals you may inherit from,have joint bank accounts, shared resources with that financially bless you

- where your resources from other people come from

- the kind of people and industries that may invest/donate/give to you

- How you handle and manage your debt and loans

- your ability to adapt to financial challenges and a complete change of class or income, essentially how you handle financial transformations

- How much you may leave for others when you pass away

- Your ability to repay financial obligations like debt and taxes

- The financial downfalls or sudden financial gains that come from unexpected sources or a source you didn’t know about (8th house is a house of secrets and in the dark so you don’t really see it coming)

- Attitudes towards other peoples resources and the concept of debt/loans

- What kind of resources, assets and things you may receive from other people

Honestly 8th house covers a lot in finances, it’s the kind of money you get for literally no reason, like you can just be sitting there and money falls on to your lap, it can be known as the nepotism house, resources gained not as a result of your day to day efforts (unless making aspects to 6H/Saturn), but a thing you get all at once as a “here you go, well done!”. You really don’t see it coming either, having a blessed 8H is good but you also need to maintain your inheritance otherwise you can end up losing it all that’s why it’s important to have a grounded 2nd house. The kind of people that tend to have this house active and beneficial would be people that are blessed with money in their darkest of times, natives put in the will of their family, people that marry into wealth, being involved with financial contracts that benefit the native more than the other.

E.g Uranus here would want it’s independence, Pluto would feel entitled to others finances and therefore native would excel in taking money from others, Jupiter is lucky here so you would just be blessed with inheritances and financial gains from others even though you didn’t plan for it.

Also look at the ruling planets of this house, say if you had an Aries 8th house, locating which house Mars is in your chart can show you which kind of places you can be given money from most, E.g your Aries is in 11th house and your Mars is in 3rd House you would make great financial gains on the topic/themes of networking, social media E.g. online companies giving you their products in hope of you trying them, being recommended for bonus or accolades because someone you vaguely know mentioned you to their boss, whereas Mars (Aries planetary ruler in 3H) could also indicate who you get your money from like siblings, people you share your ideas with etc.

for almost all aquarius and scorpio’s i’ve met theyre either open to astrology or are completely opposed to it, hyper fixated on calling it bs without willingness to at least listen to the complexities that they’re not “just a scorpio or aquarius” but they have traits and qualities of other signs due to degrees, decans, house etc..

cancer moons, i love you guys sm but at the same time once someone's hurt you, you never go on to forgiving them even if you say you have

i’ve noticed a lot of 1st house stelliums/inner planets in the 2nd house, have full lips? like they’re really nice and plush and plump? ofc other placements can indicate that but yeah

cancer mercury's have really nice voices, soft and calming

almost all gemini placements i know are well groomed; hairs done well, nails are nicely kept, and if not theyre typically dressed well too

if theres one sign that reminds me of hard work and consistancy it'd be sagittarius in the big 3 , and i feel like it goes unnoticed?

neptune 1st house placements, how often do you get projected on by others whether its by friends, close aquantences or even family? or even after awhile of getting to know you suddenly they go, "oh i thought you were like..?" and how does that affect you? its important to remember to not take what they say about you as truth, just because they thought of you one way doesn't mean you're actually that way.

venus square/opposition saturn, my babies you guys deserve love, so much love. and no, love isn’t conditional you don’t have to give or do something to get it. you can receive love for being as you are. when venus harshly aspects a planet such as saturn, known for restriction, individuals often feel like it hard to be loved or even in love. this can also manifest into low self-esteem, and even self-image. its important to know that you are capable of being loved for who you are and love will eventually come. "love myself" is a theme in your life time, and is a concept you'll have to work on in all aspects to you. ofc this also applies to other venus aspected to saturn, its just squared and opposition babies have it slightly harder.

My 1st astro observations!!!

All observations are based on my personal experiences.

Even If I'm into astrology for more than 5 years, I'm not a professional astrologer.

✨ As a Pisces Rising, I never get along well with Pisces Sun people - we always had some drama! I observed that I'm not alone, because my friends usually dislike people with the same sun sign as their rising sun!

✨Idk but maybe because Sagittarius is a ruler of 9th house - house of higher education, philosophy, exploring new horizons etc. - people with Sagittarius Mercury, which I have many around me, loves reading books! For example! My dad is a Sagittarius Mercury, and he loves books, especially this one's about history! Same as my Sagittarius Sun and Mercury friend, but maybe because of his Mercury sign being in 10th house - he loves books about finances!

✨Combability: Libra Venus and Capricorn Venus is a no, no : ( Even If both are Cardinal signs, and I saw so many couples with this Venus signs together - they really often end with broken heart, especially when Capricorn Venus is in Retrograde or bad aspected :{ - BUT, as we all know it depends on good aspects, and other placements too!

✨If you want amazing connection, and a friend with the same sense of humor - look for the same Mars sign as yours! I have Leo Mars, and every time when I have this specific cool vibe with someone, stress-free, very loose conversation - I knew that they probably have the same Mars as me! - works the same with Rising and Mars in the same sign!

✨Awww Aquarius, and Pisces placements in the same chart - Hello my delulu babies!!! - I'm the one too lol

ASTROLOGY OBSERVATIONS (2)

🗣 Not professional astrologer! It’s only based on my own experience, people that i know, and self-observation. So please take with grain of salt! :D

Venus in Libra peeps could be those who keep nagging about how they want a relationship so bad. (i know a few people in my life with this placement and they can't stop complaining about how single they are help)

Leo moon are lying to themselves if they say they don't like attention. (perhaps don't realize it yet?)

A lot of Venus in Virgo people that i know at some point in their life will questioning whether they really want a marriage or not. (yeah me too)

Someone said "i can't see myself getting married. I don't know, it seems unrealistic to me" yeah you are Virgo Venus in 12th house retrograde.

I mean, Venus in Virgo itself already make this person picky when it comes to love, and then the confusion and unrealistic idea they had because of the neptune influence. And in retrograde? jeez. i believe they have been in a relationship but then the relationship they had never meet their expentation because this people have a hopeless romantic idea of what romance is.

Venus in Sagittarius / 9th need a lot of freedom. Have a special place for foreigner in ther heart. Love someone who can keep up with their wild energy. Love people who is aware of society problem. Might also into smart people. Probably like to joke around with people close to their heart as well. (or people in general)

Moon in 7th house / Moon in Libra find comfort from being around people.

or they might feel the need to be in a relationship so that they won't feel lonely. Might dealing with co-dependency. (i know it's not your fault but please seek theraphy)

Friend of mine have 7th stellium (5 planet) and i swear to god, the attachment issues they have with is not a joke. They struggle with being on their own and need someone approval in every aspect of their life. Feel like they are incomplete if they're single. Too selfless, too giving. Later in life, people with this placement might have to realize that they should learn to stand on their on feet.

Neptune in 3rd house might having a hard time to communicate what they want to say. They also might say something they don't mean.

Uranus in 3rd house saying something in such a random way. i can't understand you sometimes,,,,,,

Chiron in 2nd house peeps could deal with feeling unworthy and feel unsave. They could feel guilty if they spend money on themselves. My Friend with this placement struggle with fear of end up lacking money all the time.

i've met a few people with Chiron in 1st house, all of them stuggle with self-image and body dysmorphia, and also struggling with Eating Disorder. :(

Those with Jupiter and Saturn together in 8th House will likely to be extremely wealthy. They are hardworking and blessed with money.

They might also are curious about the deeper things in live, spirituality and the theme around 8th house but at the same times fear of the unknown and uncertainty. They might be those people who want to dive deeper into sex (or just have high energy on that) and desire devoted relatonship but hold themselves back and blocking themself from intimate relationship because a deep fear of commitment. It's very frustasing when jupiter and saturn are in the same house.

this is actually synasty thingy but i felt like i need to mention this, DO NOT MESS AROUND WITH SOMEONE YOU HAVE 8TH HOUSE SYNASTRY WITH WHEN YOU’RE NOT READY AT ALL🩸👄🩸 i have my experience with someone who my planets fall into their 8th house (stellium), and they are OBSESSES. I help bring their true and darker side of them so now they’re attach on me, it’s sorta my fault for trying to fix them tho that’s why i’m telling you stop messing around with this synastry if you’re not ready.

Mercury-Saturn aspect, i know it’s a good thing to be careful with ur words but please say something if you really want to say it. You literally limiting ur self sometimes and overthinks a lot

There someone i know said that they don't know how to get mad and have Mars-Saturn aspect. These people (Could be Saturn in 8th house as well) might been told during their childhood that it's wrong let their temper loose so then growing up they feel guilty to express their anger and try to burry those temper.

They also could be those who struggle with supressed sexuality.

idk but my mom have Scorpio Mars and used to make a lot of sexual jokes during my childhood. (please don't do that)

what in the actual fuck.

i thought i had met the one. no, for real this time. i say that every time i meet a guy. i swear.

my chart

he was chubby, just my type, and we did the same drugs. grew up in the same part of town. he had a house and a job. bingo.

i ask if he knows his moon sign, he responds that he doesn’t know what it’s currently in. i had to ask him to repeat himself because of how disbelief i was in. i coulda melted there on the floor.

later he shows me his printed out natal chart and i examine it on his bed.

unfortunately i do our synastry chart and he only had one key aspect. most of my exes usually have more than one. first red flag, i ignore.

keep telling myself maybe he only has one because he’s the one key for me. even though the key aspect was a bad one.

he’s a cancer sun like me. my lilith is also in cancer and supposedly that means you attract the darker aspects of that sign. that would line up. his moon is in gemini, mine is in virgo. kinda at odds there. he constantly wanted to argue. like to the point where it didn’t make sense. like pulling arguments out of thin air and kept running out of ideas.

all his personal planets are in cancer. mine are in gemini. his moon is in libra 7th house, my uranus is in 7th house. i have a tattoo of uranus glyph on my ring finger because it’s my favorite planet for what it represents in astrology. supposedly moon in 7th makes needy for like constant social interaction and having people around. also adds up. he has a lot of friends, and he’d use that to hurt me.

he had pluto in 11th house. i have mars, mercury, and venus there. i really feel like he livened me up. helped me see a light and grow comfortable in my skin and environment. pluto is power and i definitely felt empowered.

my sun is in 12th house, his was in 8th. compatible houses. we talked about spirits and the occult. he told me he had seen a demon one time. it made me fall for him harder. i have a vacant 8th house so it really piqued my interest. i thought it was cute, sexy. an 8th house sun.

he had outer planets in the 12th house, and a bunch in his 1st and 2nd. i have a vacant 1st house. not my favorite house to be honest. could explain why he’s such a dick and ok with hurting others. i feel like first house is a self centered house.

2nd house, i have my moon there. another placement that makes sense. i thought i could make a home with him. i loved his home. i wanted to learn everything about him and spend years with him. i looked at him and saw a husband.

but it got so sour so fast. he wouldn’t let up. it makes me think he was sabotaging it, us. for reasons unknown. maybe he’s just a bpd narcissist and there’s no sense to make. maybe it’s cuz his ex died and his mother is also deceased. i have no clue. maybe it’s just because he’s a big ol bottom.

but i really thought he was the one. i hate that so much of his chart made sense, but i’ve felt like this before about someone. it really hurts having to constantly let go.

we also had north node and chiron conjunct. i thought that was interesting because not a lot of people have that placement ? or maybe they do ? but his were located in gemini in the 7th house. mine are located in libra in the 3rd house. isn’t that so ironic? it’s like it’s mirrored.

he was also born in 1984 which was so sexy to me because george orwell. but he is kinda small minded and i feel diminished my shine in some ways. im just so upset. this doesn’t make any sense to me.

mercury in aquarius/2nd house: keen insight on things on the behalf of your resources and things you love/add value in your life. You could have gifts in writing and can be used as a way to create money. Skills related to the hands, or something that gets you going on your feet, could be something related to technology, or even something quirky that makes you stand out.

sun in aquarius/2nd house: this is the area you shine in. the more you focus on creating wealth and a stronger income the higher you will in businesses related to your personal interests. You shine when your values are in placed and knowing what you want for yourself. with the aquarius sun in this house, you have an interesting outlook on life but in a way it reflects back to the things you have control over, which is through the material realm.

Since last year, life has been throwing me one challenge after another, and things took a turn for the worse in October. Dealing with grief, health issues, and trauma has been draining, to say the least. While there are probably more astrological transits that I’m not even aware of, the recent events - the lunar eclipse in Libra, solar eclipse in Aries, Mercury retrograde, and the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction - seemed to amplify everything. Then, yesterday’s full moon in Scorpio intensified it all even further.

Last night, I hit a breaking point. I seriously considered checking myself into a mental health facility. Thankfully, amidst the chaos, I still had moments of clarity. Instead of acting impulsively, I decided to take a proactive step and made an appointment with my doctor for next week to discuss my mental health.

These past few days have been emotionally heavy. Lots of self-reflection, tears, and feeling physically unwell. It’s been like a mental and physical cleanse, leaving me utterly exhausted. But I’m thankful to God for giving me the strength to keep going and for not losing my mind. I trust that I’ll come out of this stronger, and I have faith that I’m divinely protected. Holding onto this belief is what keeps me going, even in the darkest of times.

Why house placements, degrees, aspects, and persona charts are so important

I will give an example using my own birth chart

I am a sag sun, pisces moon, sag rising, sag mercury, capricorn venus, and pisces mars

For a long time I could not fully relate to my sagittarius placements. Although I’m an optimistic person and I like to travel/get active sometimes, I am not loud, blunt, rude, or aggressive, like many people explain sagittarius placements to be.

The signs I’ve always related to have been libra, virgo, pisces, cancer, and taurus

here’s why these signs energies are so prominent for me, despite not having any placements in most of these sign (in my natal chart) (I use WS and Vehlow)

- natal ascendant in 7° (libra degree)

- natal mercury and venus in 2nd house (taurus house)

- natal 4th house stellium (cancer house) with uranus, moon, and mars

- natal pisces moon 18° (virgo degree) and pisces mars

- natal chart ruler: jupiter in virgo

- natal mercury in 28° (cancer degree) and conjunct venus

- natal sun and ascendant sextile neptune (pisces ruler)

- natal virgo MC 24° (pisces degree)

- being jupiter in virgo and moon in pisces dominant in my natal chart

- libra sun 18° (virgo degree) and libra rising 16° (cancer degree) in my draconic chart

- libra rising 14° (taurus degree) in my chart ruler persona chart, which is also my dominant planet (jupiter)

- libra rising 16° (cancer degree) in my MC persona chart

- moon persona chart having pisces sun 18° (virgo degree), libra moon 4° (cancer degree), pisces mercury, taurus venus 2° (taurus degree), taurus mars, and a 4th house stellium (cancers house)

- taurus mars in my mars persona chart

- MC persona chart having a virgo stellium in the 12th house (pisces house) and cancer mc 18° (virgo degree)

- chart ruler persona chart (jupiter) also having a virgo stellium in the 12th house, as well as a cancer moon 18° (virgo degree)

- virgo rising 6° (virgo degree) in my ascendant persona chart, as well as a 4th house stellium (cancer house)

All together, I have a lot these signs characteristics on both my personality and physical appearance. So if you are having trouble relating to your natal chart placements, I encourage you to check these out! I recommend using astro.com

Extra notes:

- the sign of your planet in that planets persona chart might be more accurate than your natal placement (or you could have a blend of both energies). example: I have a natal pisces moon, but in my moon persona chart I have a libra moon and both are quite accurate for me

- you might also look/act more like your persona charts ascendant sign, specifically ascendant persona chart, chart ruler/dominant planet persona chart, draconic chart, and to a certain degree mc persona chart

- some believe that those with more feminine energy (not feminine/masculine based on signs, just in general) may relate more to their moon persona chart placements rather than their natal chart (sun persona chart) this is accurate for me

- IMPORTANT: this post is not meant to discredit your natal chart placements. I still have Sagittarius energy, but there will be some characteristics that I do not have due to the influence of other energies in my chart and in persona charts. This could be the same for you.

✰ venus retrograde in the 10th house can potentially show some discourse

✰ wherever house pluto retrograde is in can show where your scared and struggle to face fear/intensity/change

✰ lilith shows where we feel misunderstood/what we yearn for most/where we want to rebel/where we feel empowered

✰ sun in the 1st house is a good indicator for a happy month ahead :)

✰ chart ruler in the 5th (even if debilitated) can also be an indicator of a good month

✰ 12th house ruler in the 1st can mean being more alone for that month

✰ vertex conjunct sun can show something important (like ACTUALLY important/potent) happening that month (usually positive, but depending on the rest of the chart can be negative too), could also just show a good time for that month

✰ whenever i’ve had moon in the 2nd house i’ve found myself doing things related to self-care or generally just being more thorough with how i take care of myself

✰ jupiter opposite the midheaven (the mc point at the top of the chart) can show being happier but if it’s in retrograde/debilitated there might be some setbacks or rethinking as to how you can achieve full happiness with the circumstances at hand

✰ uranus conjunct vertex = expect the unexpected. look to the ruler of the house the conjunction is in and its aspects for clues!

✰ 9th house ruler in 1st house can show traveling for that month (big travel)

✰ having your lunar rising in your natal 12th house might show doing more journaling that month

✰ chart ruler (1st house ruler) in the 6th can show doing something repetitively or practicing a lot for something ahead (when i had this i kept auditioning for plays/musicals and worked a lot on my vocals)

✰ look to lunar planets that conjunct your natal part of fortune (pof), your lunar pof conjuncting natal planets, or lunar pof conjuncting lunar planets (i use an orb of 3 degrees). chances are for that month something fortunate will happen regarding those themes (ex: if pof and venus are conjuncting, good experiences with friends/fashion/feeling pampered, if it’s mars good experiences with creating effective change, feeling confident, feeling like your able to do more)

✰ sun-moon positive aspects (including conjunction i think) shows ease of self-expression and a generally happy mood

✰ mars in the 3rd house can show putting in more effort to talk to others

✰ jupiter in the 4th house can show going traveling that month

✰ 5th house stellium can mean having a lot of fun, enjoyment, pleasure and/or luxury that month

✰ and in general i noticed months in which you have a stellium can be an energetically potent time (maybe draining depending on everything else)

✰ cap rising can mean working hard and making progress/improvement/advancement on something

Uranus can represent things that happen unexpectedly/quickly

You can be a type of person who quickly gets material things once you get money, or is gifted material things unexpectedly or you like to give out material things to other’s unexpectedly (surprises gifts)

Could also mean that your values change alot and you might constantly change your mind about what you value (specifically material things like clothes, colors, and food)

And it could also mean that you unexpectedly loose money or gain money a lot. Whether by your own spending habits or by unexpected circumstances that requires you to spend money or you’re gifted lots of it.

Cancer sun, moon, and mercury gives him a Cancer stellium. It should give him a heightened emotional and sensitive nature with pretty good intuition. He's generally soft spoken and deeply caring, will do a lot for those he cares for. It makes him really empathetic as well

He may be a bit hard to get to know at first though since Cancers are generally private people

He's likely very moody as well due to the increased sensitivity

It makes him a good listener and understanding though. People may find him naturally comforting and easy to talk to. Speaking as a person with a Cancer stellium as well, I've had all sorts of people tell me deeply personal things (even people I wasn't very close to)...so I wonder if that happens to Taemin too. I wouldn't be surprised if he has had that happen to him several times

Very hardworking, Virgo mars people have great work ethic. I don't think Taemin's taken an actual break (aside from enlistment) during his career

Needs to be around interesting people. Needs to be intellectually stimulated

My guess on his rising: Pisces, as it would give him a 5th house stellium which I think is very fitting for him. Definitely creative and artsy, very expressive in the way he dances and performs. He wants to make an impact with his skills
