Ooh, sounds like fun! You didn’t specify another character, so I’m gonna pick a random one and go for Laura and her insufferable cousin Jackson ;)

on AO3 here!

If Laura hadn’t already been up late studying and intending to stay up even later, she probably would’ve ignored it. Well, she probably would’ve forwarded the text to Lydia or Cora or even Derek – literally anyone who got along with Jackson better than she did, which was practically everyone. Why the hell was he texting her of all people?

But it was late and she’d been working for five solid hours and her brain was about to melt out of her skull. She needed a break anyway, so she closed her books, pulled on sweats and shoes, and grabbed her keys on the way out the door. A slew of douchey selfies on facebook earlier had placed Jackson and his friends at one of the local clubs, she headed in that direction.

Laura stared at her phone for a minute, rereading it and making sure the iffy spelling still added up to all the same words. The reread came up with the same thing and honestly, she couldn’t say she was surprised. There had been more than a few occasions in their lives where she had been very tempted to punch Jackson herself, and she reminded him of that frequently. Tonight he had been out with his own friends, though, so that was a little harder to believe.

She pulled up in front of the club to find Jackson slumped against the front of the building, one leg throw out in front of him and one pulled up in front of him to prop up his arm. He had one hand on his face. The other still had a drink in it, but he wasn’t drinking it.

Laura finagled a parking space not too far away and then sauntered up to stand in front of him.

“You’re not looking so hot, little cuz,” she said, kicking his out-flung foot to get his attention. He groaned, dropping his hand. There was already a hell of a bruise forming on his jaw, visible even in the low colored lighting of the club’s neon signage. He squinted up at her.

“I always look hot,” he slurred.

Laura snorted. “Like a hot mess, maybe.” She kicked him again. “C’mon, get your ass up. I’m taking you home, you lush.”

Jackson started struggling his way to his feet. He tried to brace himself on the wall, but he seemed to be having a lot of trouble managing it with one of his hands occupied. Laura rolled her eyes.

“Gimme that,” she said, snatching the tumbler out of his hand. “If you’re getting into bar fights now, then I don’t think you need another drink. Who hit you anyway?”

“No,” Jackson moaned, reaching out to try and take the drink back. With a tsk-ing sound, Laura held it up over his head, reveling for the millionth time since puberty that she was two inches taller than him and he couldn’t get it back from her without jumping, which he didn’t seem capable of in his current state of inebriation. “No, no, no,” he said again. “Don’t - hic - don’t drink that! No one should drink that one!”

“You don’t get to tell me what to do,” Laura said with a smirk. “I’m older. That makes me in charge of you. Always has, always will. If I want to drink this, I can, and there’s nothing you can do to stop me.”

“Fine then,” Jackson said, his shrug overbalancing him and sending him stumbling back into the wall, which he apparently decided was pretty comfortable since he stayed slumped over there. “Drink it if you want. Whatever - hic - just don’t expect me to ssssave you. I already got punched over it once.”

He mimed punching but nearly fell over again. Laura steadied him automatically, holding back a laugh. Jackson drunk wasn’t nearly as coordinated as Jackson sober, and the haughty expression made the slurring twice as funny. Then his words caught up with her and she squinted down at the drink in her hand.

“Save me?” she asked. “What do you mean, save me? And somebody punched you over a drink?”

“You’d punch me for less,” Jackson said, and Laura had to concede that point.

“Okay, what about the saving though?” she repeated.

Jackson tried to point at the glass, but he sort of missed and it took him a minute to refocus. “Spiked,” he said. “Some dude put…I dunno, he put something in it. Tryna score. I saw - hic - I saw him do the thing and swiped it from the chick ‘fore she could drink it and then dude got mad and - hic - “

He mimed punching again, this time sending himself crashing into Laura’s shoulder. She shoved him back with a grunt and pinned him to the wall to keep him from sending them both to the ground from sheer drunken clumsiness. Once he was secured though, she gave him an appraising look.

“You fought a guy for trying to drug some girl?” she asked, torn between disbelief and the strong (and disconcerting) desire to hug him.

“Don’t know why I got thrown out too,” Jackson said, head lolling back against the wall. “He was the doucheturd. I was - hic - the good guy. Just ‘cause I’m super fucking drunk doesn’t mean I’m not the good guy! Dude was asking for a kick in the nards, so I kicked him in the nards! Shouldn’t be allowed to repruce - repor - hic - reproduce anyway.”

“Amen to that,” Laura said. With great relish, she poured the spiked drink into the nearest storm gutter, letting the tumbler follow it down in a shower of broken glass. She returned to her cousin and dragged one of his arms over her shoulders, hauling him away from the wall with some difficulty. “So,” she said, “was it worth getting punched?”

Jackson scoffed, the disdain undermined just a bit by the way he tripped over his own shoelace and nearly brought them both down again. “You call this a punch?” he asked. “Puh-lease. You should see the other guy.”

“You socked him good, did you?”

“Damn straight,” Jackson said. Then: “Well, not straight. I’m not straight. Really - hic - really not straight, man, I’m so fucking bi. Damn bi, that’s what I am. I’m everybody’s type and everybody is mine. ‘Cept only the hot ones.”

Laura smothered her laugh in the hand not keeping Jackson from sliding out of her grip into a puddle on the sidewalk. “So was the girl hot? The one you saved? Is that why you did it?”

Jackson fell against the side of her car, leaving the very complicated task of opening the door to her. He made the universal ‘I don’t know’ sound, eyes slipping closed.

“Didn’t really see her,” he admitted. “Doesn’t matter. It’s a shitty thing. Guys don’t get to do shitty things without getting punched.”

“I thought he got a nard kick,” Laura pointed out. “You were the one who got punched.”

“I know!” Jackson cried. “What the fuck’s up with that? Rude.”

Laura leaned up against the car next to her obnoxious little cousin, a genuine smile on her face all for him for what was quite possibly the first time in either of their lives. “You know, cuz,” she said. “I usually can’t stand you, but to my complete and utter surprise, you are a tolerable drunk.”

Jackson scoffed again. “I am an awesome drunk,” he said. “I’m a fucking pleasure.”

Laura hummed her skepticism. “I’m gonna stick with tolerable. Now get in the car before I leave your drunk ass here. I still have studying to do.”

She didn’t actually get any more studying done, but only because Jackson started telling knock-knock jokes in the car ride back to his apartment and they were so hilarious bad that Laura made the executive decision that she could not let this opportunity pass her by. She stayed at Jackson’s apartment for an hour, taking videos for blackmail purposes.

Then she tucked him into bed with a glass of water, a pack of aspirin, and a barf bucket at his bedside because she was a good fucking cousin like that and he had damn well better appreciate it.

Rule Seven

I can write a lot in my replies (And a lot of it can be unnecessary detail) but don't feel pressured to match my length! Just, please, try to give me something more than two sentences to work with. I don't typically enjoy writing short replies, but I understand muses can be fickle things.

Rule Eight

I don't enjoy pregnancy threads or writing children so I, typically, will steer clear of those types of threads. If our muses have been in a long relationship (and we have been writing partners for a while as well) I may make an exception, but don't come in expecting babies. My girls all have IUD's unless stated otherwise. That being said I am 100% down with the breeding kink.

If a muse has (unknown) somewhere in their age it means they are old old. Like 100+, so age can be changed if you are uncomfortable with age gap.

Rule Ten

I have a handful of chronic issues that effect my sleep and my mood so I'm up all hours of the day. I live in EST time zone, but I'm often up at 4AM so.....it's a gamble lol!

2nd fav character - majima as well. no im joking but its a tie between makoto and haruka, i just really like the girls in this game :).... also! an underrated fav. tachibana. i think about him a lot he is so kind and nice....

least fav character - gonna find shimano gonna make sure that face cracks like a crunch wrap supreme. also isnt this game about yakuza i think there should be more disliked characters than what im getting at here

the char im most like - hey isnt it kinda funny how both of the franchises ive answered so far has some form of michael jackson in it or what. sorry what was the question

favourite pairing - everyday i wake up and think about majimako. and for WHAT. also im not close to getting to akiyamas story but i think akihana is mega cute and i cant wait to meet them both

least favourite pairing - why do people keep trynna pair up guys with huge age gaps in them ... i see this in nishimaji a lot ?!?! apparently theres also some pairings like this in later games which is ok. ALSO i wish kiryu had better rounded relationships in the games both yuki and kaoru deserved better as characters!

fav moment - honestly i love all the content with the cabaret minigames in 0, including the substories.... i think a problem the later games have is that they push for fanservice moments in things like the cab stuff for the dudebros that play so i really enjoy how respected everyone was in 0 :D i just realized this didnt answer the question uh . i laughed unreasonably hard when majima crashed into that brothel or whatever that was in the first game

rating out of 10 - ahh this is harder because its such a big franchise i feel like i cant rate it simply .... from what ive played im gonna give it a 9/10:)

Prologue

Summary : Lady Brooke Redbird returns back to the town she helped build and calls home to attend the highschool. It is hear that she meets someone who will forever hold her heart and will never forget about.

*A/N : I wrote this a while ago and posted it to Quotev on my account their. This was what got me back into writing and has helped me with dealing with the death of my Mom and 3 uncles that happened in 2 years time. It is because of these that my ability to write has fluctuated over these past months and only worsens with my Mom’s 1st Anniversary coming up on May 23rd…..3 days after my own birthday on May 20th. I am wanting to continue writing and finish this story as I have it all planned out in my head, just gotta get it onto here. I will try to focus more on this series but I may jump back and forth between a lot as I tend to come up with ideas and want to write them down and share them with you all. So I hope you guys like this story, it does have a few similarities with my fav char on The Vampire Diaries, the Myth, the Legend, the Baddest Bitch of All…...Katerina Petrova aka Katherine Pierce!!! And it will contain story elements or plots of many TV Shows or movies I love throughout it. All of which I do not claim any rights to anything that does come from other works!! They are supposed to be just shoutouts and show I love their work. Lady Brooke is loosely based off Sophia Bush’s character on One Tree Hill. I love her on the show and she was easily my fav char!!! Well I hope you enjoy and I’ll add the next chapters when I can!!

Screams echo….

People running….

I’m can’t move….

I’m scared….

A man moves towards me with a smile….

I scream for help….

I jolt up, looking around, slowly breathing, calming down seeing the back of the limo, I sigh when a voice says to me,

“Lady Redbird, we have arrived in Beacon Hills and are 20 minutes from the Redbird Manor” my driver says,

“Antwan, for the last time please, call me Brooke” I say smiling at him then look out the window.

I look down to see I my travel outfit, black silk with lace trim tank top, black cotton sweater with a couple of buttons down up, black leggings, red flats, emerald and diamond bracelet and an antique black iron necklace attached with a square emerald crystal. My sweater is a little wrinkled from me moving in my sleep, so I slightly get up smoothing it out. Then I continue to look out to see Beacon Hills while memories flash in my head. I remember when this town was a village back in 1890 and when I helped fund the new school in 1941.

We pull up to Redbird Lane, which my family’s manor is located on. As the limo turns onto the familiar driveway, we stop at the gate.

“Antwan Delaver” Antwan says passing his ID to the guard, who scans it, nodding to let us in as he buzzes the gate open.

We drive on in, passing big beautiful willow trees blowing in the wind, all which I planted as seeds and helped grow. Arriving at the front doors to Redbird Manor, Antwan gets out and helps bring in my luggage,

“Thanks Antwan, go unpack, get some sleep” I tell him while giving him a hug,

“Sure thing Brooke” Antwan smiles as he walks back to the limo driving it to the garage, grabbed his luggage and then heads towards his room on the 2nd Floor in the East Wing.

I head on up the staircase at the end of the hall leading to a landing, that splits off towards the East and West Wings. I head towards my master room located at the other side of the stairs, in between the East and West Wings. I begin to unpack, as I buzz Shelia on the intercom,

“Hey, Shelia can you come to my bedroom for a minute?” I say sweetly.

I am halfway unpacked as Shelia knocks on my bedroom door

“It’s open” I say putting new clothes I got while in my loft at Miami,

“Brooke, how was Florida?” Shelia says coming up to hug me,

“It was great, I loved the beach, especially all the shirtless guys” I tell her while smirking,

“And no shopping?” Shelia asks saddened,

“Well one must always make time for shopping” I say matter of factly,

“So how was my lovely assistant’s flight in the new jet?” I ask curious,

“You mean how much I love the new astronomically big jet”

Shelia smiles remembering her time on the jet.

I smile, happy that she was happy,

“So is the Beacon Hills High School’s Principal meeting me tomorrow?” I ask her.

“Yes, Principal Matthews will promptly meet you at 8:00 in the morning, I have already sent your grades over when I got here and already told him you were to start as a freshman as you were held back because of the homeschooling” Shelia tells me checking her cell phone smiling as she knows my grades and homeschooling are a lie,

“Thanks Shelia, your dismissed for the night, please tell the staff also.” I say in my closet looking for something to sleep in.

I finally decide on some new sleepwear for tonight, which all I got from Miami. My emerald green silk satin chemise with luxurious bespoke embroidery. Matched with black ultra thin tulle, scalloped edge and leavers-lace trim pantie briefs. And my emerald-green liquid-like silk-satin and midnight-black whisper-fine Chantilly lace frame robe besides my bed if need be.

After changing, I check my cell, calling someone I haven’t called in a while,

“Cleo? How’s Egypt?” I ask,

“Great, Redbird Industries is up 5% here” Cleo states,

“I miss you. I arrived back to our home” I say sitting on my king sized bed,

“I miss you too Brooke, I miss home” Cleo says at little sad,

“Maybe we should move up our yearly meet to next week?” I ask,

“I can after my fundraiser next week, but you know Amara hates short notice, she loves the Amazon too much” Cleo says laughing with me as we know how Amara will react,

“I’ll call Amara, but you have to call Mariko” I say playfully,

“No, problem, it’s the most I could do after running into you” Scott says while smiling, I look at him, seeing that his dark chocolate eyes sparkled a little in the sunlight, which then I realized how close we were to each other,

“Um….care to let me go?” I ask shaking my right arm giggling like a schoolgirl,

“Oh, right sorry, MiLady” Scott says with a serious tone with a hint of joking while smiling at me,

“Its fine, its just if I am to find my classroom, I kinda need my arm” I say laughing while turning to walk away as his smile made me feel butterflies and my arm feels weird without his touch,

“I can show you where the classroom is!” Scott says with a bit of excitement running up to stand next to me,

“I am a lady of House Redbird and ladies don’t need to be shown where to go” I say smiling at him as I turn forward to strut away from him.

I have this feeling of my plan to not be interested in guys will obviously not work out.
