I have another question because i have been confused about this for Years. What is considered short hair for women? Because I keep seeing videos like "haistyles for women with short hair" or "i finally cut my hair short" and then the hair is shoulder length, which in my opinion isn't really that short. This might just be because I have generally pretty short hair so shoulder length is actually the longest my hair ever gets but it's still weird for me to hear others call that short. So I'm making a poll:
And by "short" I really mean the term 'short' and not just a general description

i haven't been reading your blog for long, but your actual adherence to a gender neutral reader feels really nice. i'm not a girl or a woman but i do have the body of one and i do enjoy being feminine, sometimes. but being feminine can feel a bit tiring or overwhelming at times and it's nice that your blog can give me a break from that.
i like that i can relate to the bodily parts and not have to feel weird when the reader is (hyper) feminine, basically.
keep up the great work!
Thank you so much! I'm a bit sick of all the reader inserts being girls myself, even though I know that's just the widest demographic and it makes sense. Lots of blogs have some gender neutral readers but they're always afab and I never know when I'm going to get a "good girl" sprung on me. I love having my own strictly neutral + masc space, because I know there's more people like me out there who want to enjoy xreader content without being called women. I'm glad other trans/nb/gnc people like it!

Hi! As someone who now kinda wants to check out Trigun because of the hype, do you recommend that I can start with Stampede? Or do I really need to watch the OG anime first to better understand/enjoy it? Thank you! 🙋🏻♀️
you can start with stampede! i'd say knowing the context of the original enhances the experience but isn't necessary to enjoy the show. I would consider stampede more viewer-friendly, especially for those of us who are used to modern storytelling conventions (the original suffers the consequences of general writing trends in anime at the time it was produced and of the fact that it was produced long before the manga was finished, so the story is somewhat disjointed and has a lot of filler which makes it REALLY hard to get into.) if you do end up liking stampede, however, I'd suggest trying out watching at least SOME of the original because it adds a lot of cool nuance and context to the story that stampede tells!

re: your tags on the "female characters in fandoms" post
as a certified hater bitch lesbian (and as one who does have a fair number of m/m ships so you know I see this shit everywhere) it gets fucking ANNOYING when people relegate female characters to being lesbians literally only to get them out of the way of a ship--and the problem isn't that they are GAY, but that there's never any thought put into them being gay!! fans treat it like the whole identity is just a write-off to move them into a little box away from the dudes!! far be it from me to go to bat for het ships because I just don't care enough to do that but if people are only gonna be talking about lesbians if it's to surgically remove them from a story then I don't really see it as any more fuckin progressive than putting them with a random side character MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111
FOR REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whenever there's a female character they get regulated to "snarky lesbian best friend" !!!!! Heaven forbid a female character be the love interest that gets in the way of the m/m ship!! better remove her from the equation!! hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it is SO annyoying to see. its hard to even articulate how much is wrong with it but the fact that it uses being lesbian as almost a punishment and erases bi people altogether!!! its just used to remove them from the narrative and maybe get them a love interest in the form of another girl they needed out of the way.

your women make me feel things, what's your secret?
The secret is none other than loving women.......................
Jokes aside! I think a lot of how I do women is influenced by a bit of frustration with a community/environment I used to dwell in few years ago. I used to get shitty reactions from people who, uh, had a pretty limited view of what was a "woman", and would even purposefully misgender women that didn't fit that narrow idea. It happened with the greenish tiefling there, even though she's cis ^^"
Ever since I realized I was actively not drawing women because posting them there would always get me negative comments, I've strived to get a bit more variety. I think variety is key- I once got an ask telling me I obviously had "something with MILFs" based on the fact I do draw older ladies a bit more often than your average person. I just really enjoy drawing older characters, and it feels strange to limit yourself to drawing 18-25yo gals all the time!
A lot of it also comes from getting frustrated with games like league of legends having about 60-70 same-faced gals in it, all of them with the same exact bodytype and impossible hip-to-waist ratio and so on. Give me a bit more variety, I'm begging you.
But also, yeah. Loving women also helps a lot--

I had to establish an alibi and everything just so my family wouldn't know I went to the Women's Centre for help.
Well. I saw their therapist.
She immediately told me that she specializes in relationship abuse and hard breakups. I told her that's not my problem, my family is. She told me that she's sorry, but she can't help me.
So yeah, as I feared, they just don't care for cases like mine. If it's not my partner who abuses me, they just don't know what to do.
So 👍🏻
