Hello! I've finished my contract with Cartoon Saloon so I'm enjoying my free time drawing for myself and following some courses about light and colors! Here is a tiny house with a cat! I hope you'll like it! 🌞
Here is an example of how I approach backgrounds for my animations.
Clip Studio Paint has a feature where you can display a 3D figure in any pose and perspective. I simply drop the figure onto the canvas and turn on 'show ruler' from the layer.
Once 'show ruler' is checked and you're happy with the perspective, draw the lines and use them as a guide to paint the backgrounds.
I also like using photographs that I took of buildings and public domain images, like this cityscape, to help add texture to the environments.
Though, I still prefer to create my backgrounds from scratch and only like to rely on photos for textures and a sense of the uncanny.
Oh god I'm so absolutely exhausted, I can't even see straight anymore kgngjffb
On the bright side, even though I didn't draw anything, I completed a 3d model for the location of the next animated episode. So in a way, the creative karma was kept up to par👍
Tobie Lolness ♥ La prairie was one of my favorite parts of the series to work on !
There was almost no pre-production and we had to devellop everything from scratch ! I did some lineart for these too, and we spent twice as much time on the episode as usueal - it was thrilling ! We put all our love and efforts in it ~
Okay people, dream with me here: 2d animated Supersons in Patrick Gleason’s style from the comics
This is a small bit of a 1 minute animatic I’ve been working on in my spare time, that I’m slowly starting to get some finished animation on! Based on the Robin vs Superboy fight scene from Superman #10, by Peter Tomasi and Patrick Gleason, because I love it
