7 CHARACTER INSPIRATIONS: GABRIEL. ( Saw this on the dash a lot ages ago and finally got around to it lmao ) ( You do not need to read all of these explanations it is extremely long and I'm sorry fgddksghhsd but if you're curious about why one is on there I try to explain! )
From the top, left to right:
Pearl! At least two people have outright said that Gabriel's dynamics with others reminds them of Pearl from Steven Universe and-- guilty, I used to write her! But they have so much in common in a weird way, being both perfectionists that mask their neuroticism behind flawless grace only achieved through that neuroticism, beings that exist for servitude that both lost the thing they used to serve and now are haplessly trying to carry on in their stead. Do you see my vision?? I'm saying pearl is a metaphorical angel and--
RAMSES !! The sheer irony of Ramses himself being the inspiration for Gabriel, the angel that helped punish him for his stubbornness-- knowing darn well stubbornness is one of his own most dangerous traits. But- most of all, Ramses is here to perfectly represent his relationship with his brothers juxtaposed to his relationship to his servitude and fear of weakness. I could go into it but-- watch Prince of Egypt its a gorgeous movie you'll know what I mean in the first scene with Ramses' brother lol.
Undyne !! Another character I used to write ngl, i clearly have a type but-- Undyne reflects two traits, one being the almost comical tendency towards aggression and over the topness, the utter inability to resist a challenge and the tendency to play just a little too rough. And two, the supernaturally strong will power archetype! ( one of my favorites ) Undyne's resolve for determination exceeding any normal monster is a perfect reflection of Gabriel's "Will of God" determination.
The song Hero from RWBY! ( That's a picture of the lyric video i didn't just type words on a black box sdgkhsh-- ) I could have put Ironwood from the show on here himself, but 1- I hate RWBY as a show itself and 2- I don't know his character too well-- but his song? *chefs kiss* No other song I know captures his drive and motivation, including a part that mentions of worrying he feels like a "machine" due to his single-mindedness, but deciding that isn't such a bad thing.
A very specific "otherworldly entity tries to understand humans" archetype! Represented here by Elizabeth from Persona 3, who in herself has the dignified eloquence of a powerful and ancient being but silly playfulness of something that very rarely gets to explore life without following a command. One defining trait of catching Gabriel when he isn't working is that he is deeply curious, almost naively so, like he is still very inexperienced with humanity's day to day existence despite his ancient age. He's fascinated by simple things, like the way icecream feels.
Ghirahim....... here to represent all the worst impulses Gabe has that can't be dismissed as well intentioned. Finding joy in violence, vain about his form, cocky in the face of a challenge-- especially from what he perceives as fundamentally lesser than divinity, Gabriel is the kind of person to taunt and play with his food, deliberately asking that you strike him just to prove he can take it without flinching. Luckily, Gabriel's better nature keeps this side of him far more under wrap than Ghirahim, but it's there..... ALSO however-- note how Ghirahim is still a servant, and a deeply devout one, reflecting how despite Gabe's arrogance there is not a single facet of him that believes himself greater than his god.
Elidibus, warrior of light !!! Only very recently, but mun over at Lilyspoke helped encourage this one lol. Elidibus has become the inspiration for Gabriel's behavior surrounding his immortality and his imperfect memory surrounding God's teachings. Gabriel has been alive so long and has gone so long without hearing his Father that he's beginning to forget the sound of his voice... a very sad reflection of how Elidibus is driven madly by his mission for the Light agains the Dark due to a promise he made so long ago he forgot who he made it to. And, a metaphor for how Gabriel's motivations have wandered from being perfect or pure and that there is no one left who perfectly remembers what their God once said. Also-- the speeches they give before battle is so similar lmao.

so in one of the tobey macguire spiderman games [bear with me here] theres this cutscene where spiderman saves a lady on a rooftop and is like "heyy dont worry about it maam! i gotta go :)" and then the ladys lile "wait! before you go... i left my purse on one of these rooftops--" and spidey goes "on a different rooftop? different from this one??? are you serious? whats wrong with you? are you taking some kind of tour of city rooftops????" and the lady goes "yes!" and hes like "okay! whatever ill find your purse for you 🙄"
anyways. thats sksw link to me
Okay but that's a genuinely hilarious scene, lady why the fuck are you touring rooftops? Do you know how annoying this is to me personally? I'm not going to throw you off this ledge because I don't want to kill you but I will be very Obnoxious and Complain about it!
But yeah that's totally 100% sksw Link to me, he's not nice but he *is* kind and genuinely wants to help people. It's just that it doesn't stop him from tossing the shit whenever someone is personally annoying him or is just difficult, or really just whenever he's in the Mood. He'll help you! It's just that he NEEDS to be a little bitch at times, it's literally like enrichment for him. There's gods and goddesses and whatever the FUCK running around and also he's forced to deal with all that AS WELL as being bullied by damn near everyone who first meets him.
(In a way I think sksw Link and Ghirahim are similar in the way that they gotta be lil assholes for their health, Ghirahim is just more theatrical about it. Sksw Link is too exhausted for dramatics)
Also playing this game and learning more about him is gen fun cause oooohhhhh you're not at all the fandom's perception of you huh? C’mon let's go get some ice cream and bitch about something totally pointless king

Hey...
I found your au but.. I'm so confused. Can you give me a rundown of what the premise of your au is? I read confidential bbut I feel like I'm missing important background info. In don't get what's going son at all
(pspsps hey we have an au blog with more info and au related asks go there, please don't send them to my personal inbox bc I'm not the only one writing this series-- @ageless-soul-au)
AH! Confidential doesn't have a whole lot of plot going on, it's mostly character setup, so don't worry about understanding the plot of that. But I can give you a rundown of the basic plot of the whole series.
Time travel! The heroes in Con don't know why they're doing what they're doing, so it could get confusing since no one is explaining anything. Some things will be explained by the end! But we're not there yet.
Uh. Spoilers for anything past Con???
The chain is trying to round up heroes from other eras because they've been told they're trying to face a Big Bad-- SOMETHING that needs their attention but only maybe Hyrule knows the most about it, and even they don't know the whole thing. But they have little devices that we call time jumpers or jump sticks, something like that, and they use those to move from era to era. They only go to specific set points atm, kinda like a device that's been child locked. They've been told to gather heroes and that's about all they know.
Later works in the series (that were written previously, sorry about that) explain that the Big Bad is named Mikah (non binary, they/them)-- they have a vendetta out for heroes, or just one in particular but they're so bitter that they'll take the rest down along with their original target. Mikah has employed two notable lackeys from history-- Kohga, the ORIGINAL founder of the Yiga from 10,000 years before botw (and his name was passed down as a kind of title through the ages) and Ghirahim, and I'm sure you know who that is. The way he is here again is a secret tho....
Instead of allowing Mikah to wreak havoc on the timelines (because they're a super powerful sorcerer who learned how to do that), a timeline-protecting agency from the future is set to step in! They sent out letters to specific heroes to notify them in advance and assumed the rest would get picked up by the chain as they went along. And they'll save the day! Right?
Enter Nadea. You might have seen her name float around the blog. She works for the time bureau and has met the heroes. Is she supposed to be there...? Nnnnnnnooooo.... See, the heroes were cut kinda a shit deal and she knows that and is set to make it right, so... she is interfering. Her bosses do not know she's there and she prefers to keep it that way. But she's here to help in whatever way she can!! (without spoiling too much for them)
For the rest, more is explained in Eye for an Eye, as well as Love and Trust (mostly the latter bc the Ganondorf Thing is explained and Mikah is extrapolated on). But yeah!!! That's basically what's going on in the Beginning Conflicts of the au, which don't actually pick up until E4E. (Technically Grace Period, but our rewrite (and expansion) of that will be our next project, and Con is almost over so that's soonish.)
Hooooopefully that cleared some things up? Let us know if you have more questions on @ageless-soul-au (that we can answer without spoilers lmao)

AUGH JUST SAW YOUR RESPONSE OKAY *throws a small boy at you* Vaati!!! (please god I hope nobody asked about him while I wasn’t looking-)
THERE WE GOOOO!! And not to fear! We alone are mouse-boy enthusiasts in this chili's tonight.
Right! For some context, I've only had direct experience with Minish Cap, and that was via an LP. I have a general gist of his motivations in Four Sword and Four Sword Adventures, but nothing more; as such, my characterisation will largely hinge on his depiction in Minish Cap.
Without further ado--! Let's begin.
First impression: Oh god, there's a fair bit? I had the idea that he was this gloating, menacing but lowkey bland villain by wider-fanbase standards who fit the mould of your standard arrogant-cunt sorceror-- Either that, or this bitch Gumpy™. There were also characterisations of him being this leery fuck who didn't know how to keep his hands off women-- I imagine largely thanks to his deeds in Four Swords.
Impression now: He feels like something right out of some early '00s kid DeviantArt page and I mean that in the most delightful sense. He's literally an albino mouse-fairy boy who was an apprentice to one of the most revered sages in his people's society, only to go, "NO!!! I do n o t t e wish to be Tiny Mouse anymore!!!" and then fucking stole the cap and fucked shit up. Vaati comes across as so juvenile here, and I'm genuinely surprised I don't see people outside of hardcore-Vaati stans lean into this? Because that's pretty fucking important, the fact that he's essentially a preteen that stole a bunch of power to... become God??? His motivations are disjointed, and while it's smart that he sat back and watched instead of leaping in like many others(cough, cough, Ghirahim) tried to do, but at the same time it lends itself to an utter lack of presence on his part, as he game's antagonist-- And I suppose this methodology makes sense, considering he is a kid. I say this about every Zelda villain, and I'll say it about him too: there's alot of untapped potential at play here, I think, were you to merely examine his character or toss him into a room with others and see how that character plays out. Vaati's fundamental immaturity makes a good contrast or even unveiling in regards to the motivations of his compatriots; maybe calling into question whether any of them know what the fuck they're doing. On a minor note, he's alot more jovial than I anticipated. It's obviously of the aloof-sneering variety, but I really didn't expect it; again, I'm surprised no-one thinks to convey this? It was a pleasant little discovery.
Favorite moment: The twist-appearance as Link and Zelda flee to the Elemental Sanctuary-- I knew it was going to happen, if they'd left it there a major thread in regards Vaati's ascension would have gone unresolved. Even still, the bossfight afterwards was underwhelming, from the looks of things, y'know, considering he's a demigod, but again I think that ties back to his complete lack of experience and self-discipline; and I'll be real, I was side-eyeing Ezlo the entire time with how willing he seemed to dismiss Vaati and place all the blame on him; nevermind that Vaati was his charge, and his behaviour speaks to Ezlo's methods more than anything else, but I'm getting off track.
Idea for a story: I'd say a moment of quiet reflection; maybe he's hauled himself up to his (stolen) room after a long day, and we get insight into his thought process and motivations. Maybe even some second guesses-- Only briefly, of course. Why stop, when he's this close to becoming a God? But it's lonely at the top; lonelier than one can ever imagine. But who is he to worry? At least he'll be lonely and powerful, and with that power he'll... he'll... He'll get to it, whent he time comes.
Unpopular opinion: Probably that I find more mature, surly depictions of him jarring? But I'm guessing that has more to do with his FS and FSA appearances-- Again, limited scope here. I don't think this one will be particularly controversial by Tumblr Zelda standards, but I really found it so jarring how Ezlo and the narrative as a whole seems so keen on avoiding why Vaati got here? All we're told is that he was fascinated by the darkness in the hearts of men, but like, why? And why did that metastasise into such destructive tendencies? Because alot of people do get curious of morbid topics, and in regards to psychology, that can blossom into an education in that field should that spark be nurtured-- I think it would have been incredibly beneficial to have had a Minish capable of looking into man's darker nature and seeking caution based on that-- After all, wasn't Ezlo's inability to anticipate that what lead to all this? The only time I can remember when Ezlo properly touches on the issue is at the very end when he apologises to Princess Zelda, saying that it was his fault any of this happened-- And he's right to! Especially considering what Zelda's been through. But any consideration as to Vaati and what brought him here is sweeped under the rug immediately. There's no desire to examine this; no want to dirty their hands with this filth. And like, is that not concerning? Regardless of the affection in it that becomes apparent toward the end, Ezlo reprimands and talks down to Link on serveral occasions; am I the only one wondering what part that played in all of this? How it could have worsened an already precarious mind like Vaati's? To be very clear, this isn't an absolution of Vaati's deeds-- I have no interest in doing that, as I don't think villains need to be absolved in order to gain consideration; rather, this is a frustration of how Zelda once again refuses to give that consideration to its villains, save for the fleetest of moments.
Favorite relationship: The thing about Vaati is that he's isolated, almost completely divorced from the cast in any meaningful interpersonal way; all bridges are either burned, or absent. And that's jarring, isn't it? I think any relationship could be a good one, and take his character in a number of interesting directions. Link? A foil, in regards to them both being under Ezlo's tutelage, and a potential for him to examine his own maturity; a question if he retains any innocence yet; maybe, even, if any of this is worth that. Ezlo? A confronation of the past he seems all to eager to throw away; all the bitterness and the contempt, all the hurt they both seem loathe to acknowledge. Zelda? Well, she's in stone for most of the game so I don't know how that'd work, but assuming this is an AU where she's merely interned instead of petrified, I think the examination would be similar in regards to Link's, but with the questioning amped up to 100 late-arc, that despite everything he's doing to set himself above others he's taken a shine to her, and now he's stuck wanting to pursue his goals but also... He admires her. He can't help it. He's loathe to admit it, but that firey sweetness she seems to hold for everyone and everything is enthralling; and they all return it, too-- Maybe, just maybe, he considers, even a little, that love may be more desirable over power-- Whether he pursues it, however, is to be seen.
Favorite headcanon: Oh!!! God, I can't remember who suggested it, but when I was scrolling through the tag, someone brought up the idea that Vaati's boss-morphs might be the closest we have to actually catching a glimpse at Hylia's true form-- And I can see it, now! The whole eye-thing actually makes alot more sense, if you consider it cognate to the Sheikah All-Seeing Eye. On the whole, it's a wonderful headcanon that adds so much to what initally seems to be the epitome of Zelda's eye-fixation, tying a villainous character to something adjacent to light, to holiness. If I might throw another idea in here, my own observation, I can't help wondering if this:
Tumblr media
Is far more akin to this:
Tumblr media
Than anything else.
It's certainly make Ezlo's horror at Vaati's new form more understandable, and also serve as a lovely tie-in that Fuckign Around With Dark Forces™ leaves you looking like a little goblin person.
But yeah! That's that :) Sorry I'm late, hopefully though this makes up for that.
DO let me know what you think, though! I'd be delighted to hear your own thoughts on the matter.

are there any stories/facts about your job/coworkers you can comfortably share? maybe something cool they did/you did with them recently? anyone that stands out in particular among them, without getting too specific for. clear reasons?
what's cheeseburger up to atm? any notable stories or anything about him recently, or has he been just living his best life as usual?
which of the skyloft NPCs do you particularly like? for arguments sake, this is excluding the more story relevant ones, so no groose + his gang, no zelda obviously, etc.
as an opposite to that, talk about groose! i've always loved him as a character, and the bits you've said about him and his relationship with link and zelda is always great! also, any notable kin memories you have of groose? especially things that occured after he left skyloft, or even after the demise fight. what did he get up to after the credits rolled?
fun stories about your loftwing? were there any traits you and him shared notably? or any that were more opposite?
what are some of your favorite things about your favorite iterations of zelda? what i mean by that is like... what do you like best about tetra/wind waker zelda? what about skyward zelda? botw zelda? they're similar but all unique people, so what endears you the most about each of them?
i know this is a lot, so don't feel like you have to answer in any specific time frame. take as long as is comfortable, and i hope this helps!! ~🍄
these are so many!!! thank you for being so generous!!!
are there any stories/facts about your job/coworkers you can comfortably share? maybe something cool they did/you did with them recently? anyone that stands out in particular among them, without getting too specific for. clear reasons?
most of the ppl i work w are. kinda rude to me all the time so i mostly just drown them out so i don’t go insane. but there is this one kid who is just, like, a ray of sunshine every time he walks into a room. and he works so hard and he cares about his work and i feel like he’s the only bitch who gets me. we vibe over zelda and will just get into debates about the lore on the clock and i look forward to seeing him a lot.
what's cheeseburger up to atm? any notable stories or anything about him recently, or has he been just living his best life as usual?
he’s just doin he. he sleeps a lot. sometimes in boxes. sometimes under beds. sometimes directly on top of me.
a few weeks back i went to the ER for what i figured out was a kidney stone and while i was literally on my bed writhing in pain trying to hold out until my grandparents got there cheeseburger just like, jumped up on top of me and immediately starting pissing on me, as if to say haha, check this out. i can urinate better than you.
which of the skyloft NPCs do you particularly like? for arguments sake, this is excluding the more story relevant ones, so no groose + his gang, no zelda obviously, etc.
i love all of them so much oh no... everyone i love i love for kinnie reasons like i am tempted to say jakamar cause even though he’s kind of a sleazy dude he, as previously mentioned, smuggled me woodscraps to whittle fsdgjkfsgh
but parrow gives good hugs. and henya always has snacks hidden somewhere. and pumm will give you soup on the house sometimes if he can tell you’re in a rough mood. and and and........ i wuv skyloft. this is all kinnie bullshit actually.
as an opposite to that, talk about groose! i've always loved him as a character, and the bits you've said about him and his relationship with link and zelda is always great! also, any notable kin memories you have of groose? especially things that occured after he left skyloft, or even after the demise fight. what did he get up to after the credits rolled?
talked about him a lil bit in my last ask hehe
fun stories about your loftwing? were there any traits you and him shared notably? or any that were more opposite?
aepon & i were the kind of pair where we seemed really dissimilar on the surface but i think if anyone actually knew us they’d be able to discern pretty quickly that we were 100% twinning. like at face value i was a pretty calm and quiet person who was just, like. spacey and sleepy and vibing while things happened around me, and aepon was this absolute speed demon who had the biggest, loudest presence any time he entered a space. ppl in skyloft called him my red terror.
but the thing about my bird is that he was stubborn to a fault, and recklessly brave, and he just didn’t. stop. and he loved fiercely, the second i was awake in the morning i’d hear him circling overhead and shrieking his happy little shriek, he’d fill my head with all his thoughts of hanging out with me while i was trying to concentrate on work. all those things, we had in common, but i wouldn’t have been able to tell you that. someone like zelda probably would have.
i think the best representation of it is at the beginning of everything when the tornado took zelda, the both of us just. dove right in. nothing else mattered, no conflict existed within either of us, i didn’t have to steer him in or send my intentions into our shared headspace, he just turned into an arrow flying straight into danger, and i went with him and we were one living being. like that’s our core. we are very opposite, until shit gets real, and then we are this beautiful unity tearing through the clouds.
what are some of your favorite things about your favorite iterations of zelda? what i mean by that is like... what do you like best about tetra/wind waker zelda? what about skyward zelda? botw zelda? they're similar but all unique people, so what endears you the most about each of them?
HOW DO I COUNT THE WAYS I LOVE ZELDA AHHHHH
oot!zelda’s determination to defy fate... the way she refuses, from the start, to give in to darkness even though she’s only a little girl. the way she sees my commoner ass just waltz up into her private garden after breaking into her house still dressed in my stupid forest clothes and shes like. oh fuck yeah, wanna help me overthrow the gerudo king? and we’re, can’t stress this enough, ten. she’s so confident like she never worries about being powerless or out of her element, she never for a second believes this isn’t something she can fight. and when everything goes to shit she just keeps fighting!!! and still has the time to remind me that i can keep fighting too!!! literally where did she get that personality i love her so much!!!!
tetra’s fucking... simmering fire. her perfect balance between action and thought. like you can tell she’s pissed off and wants to start throwing punches but she always has the self-control to assess if it’s the thing to do in the moment. I CAN’T DO THAT!!! i’m pissed off i want to swords!!!! that motherfucker over there is PROVOKING ME!!!!! and tetra has the same fire inside her but she’s always just, like, “shut the fuck up, link. put your sword away. we need to get the jump on him.” and im like, AHHHHHHH because she’s always right. literally always. i don’t know how she does this but i think about it constantly. i love her level head and her scheming heart and her choice to carve her own destiny. i like how she finds out she’s a legendary princess from an age long past with sacred blood and shes just like ‘that’s cool but actually i’m tetra and i like to cuss and steal.’ and just does that forever. it resonates with me especially because even though the gods acknowledged me as the hero of winds i, like, wasn’t a ‘true’ incarnation of the hero. it’s just what i decided to be with what i was given. she and i are two sides of that coin and there is something beautiful abt that i don’t have words for. in a lot of ways she was my inspiration.
skyward!zelda’s um. everything? everything. i am so in love with her. i am so in love... with her. i am finding it harder to describe her than everyone else here which is so silly because she’s easily the person i was closest with. she’s just, like, made of fire and love? of passion. everything she is stems from what she loves--she loves old legends, and cliche romance stories, and stargazing, and going on adventures. zelda romanticizes everything in her life, she’ll stop mid-sentence to make you look at the sky because it struck her as particularly beautiful today, meanwhile i’m just like. thats the sky i see it every day i live here. and she’s so brave, so fierce, so resilient--there’s literally nothing that could scare her, i’m certain she got to the surface and immediately started spitting curses at blins, if ghirahim had actually found her alone she would have tried to come at him clawing and spitting. i was always so chill because all my anger was Stored in The Zelda, she’d just fight half my battles for me before i could register they were battles. idk. zelda was such an optimist who took everything in stride and believed, no matter what, that she could make it her own and make it beautiful and find something to adore within it. i might have had a quieter disposition, but she was always better at dealing with change than me. it was calming. i love her so much.
botw!zelda’s passion and inquisitive heart, oh my god, oh my god. i’m going to fucking fight everyone in the kingdom who ever made her feel like she talks too much. god it enthralls me, the way she just talks and talks and talks and LETS ME LISTEN, she lets me just SIT THERE and BASK IN IT like some kind of COLD REPTILE ON A ROCK. i literally cannot comprehend how she can fit so much knowledge about so many different things in her brain, and the way she’s ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT, literally just getting together with her techie friends and building whole ass machines when she was like 6 years old. shes looking at me like ‘oh this child prodigy curse my shortcomings why cant i be pulling enchanted swords when IM 12′ and im like PRINCESS YOU’RE FUCKING COOLER THAN ME LIKE CONGRATS I TOUCH A SWORD SOMETIMES AND YOU COULD LITERALLY MAKE A ROBOT TO DO THAT FOR YOU oh my god the way she doesn’t see how incredible she is makes me go insane i feel insane just thinking about it she’s the coolest fucking person i’ve ever met she’s the coolest person in hyrule the kingdom is too good for her i want her to take apart hyrule castle brick by brick and just leave a note behind that says ‘im too cool for you’ and then she gets on my ancient magic motorcycle and rides off into the sunset to some paradise far away and if i’m LUCKY she takes me with her. i love zelda

Waluigi: Wa-here do you think Wa-our going Sprin?!
Spring Man: Just out for a fresh air. Chill dude.
Waluigi: Wu-our Wa-ear hading to Hands to be a fighter, Wa-ear you.
Spring Man: What, Dude, Why would I do that?
Waluigi: Wa-our know wa-ye! Ever sent they announce a fighter from your universe. They be talking about wa-ou.
Spring Man: So, I can't help that my fan had high up for me, being a new fighter.
Waluigi: WaHa! So you admit it. That yowww will be the next fighter?!
Spring Man: Dude, Even I don't know who they gonna pick. All that I know it from my universe.
Ashley: Waluigi, are you bothering Spring Man? I told you it could not be a big deal.
Knuckles: Give the guy brake.
Nikki: It may not even be Spring Man.
Waluigi: But it had to be him. If he could be a fighter, they mean that we---
Isaac: We been through this, they will not make you be a fighter, Waluigi, not after what happen with the Hands.
Lyn: Even if is Spring Man, it doesn't mean they would promoted another Assist Trophy into a New fighter.
Waluigi: What about you guys, do you want to real fighter too?
Assist Trophies: .........
Waluigi: You see, I'm not the only one.
Alucard: Look, we get it, you had high hope for being a fighter character. But you gotta face the facts. We was pick to be Assist them, nothing more, nothing less.
Phosphora: And really, I like fighting on the sideline, why can't you?
Yuri: I agreed with Phosphora, I don't think that I could handle myself being in a real fight.
Marie: And really, what move could I and Callie had that isn't the same our fellow inkling.
Shadow: I rather be myself then be a echo of Sonic, because that what I would be if I join the roster.
Rodin: Yeah, Nothing wrong with giving a helping hand in this fight club of our.
Jeff: I would be useless as a real fighter. Even if I help Ness, I'd prefer to assist.
Midna: As my true self, sure, but I am a Imp here! For no real reason...
Dillon: And don't forget that some haven't head real combat. Not even you Waluigi.
Shovel Knight: Unless you planning to be Tennis Knight, I don't see you hold up a fight.
Waluigi: Wah? You telling you don't mind being Assist Trophy?
Skull Kid: Yep.
Riki: And why don't you want be a simple Assist?
Waluigi: I... I mean... I... I just...
Krystal: You feel left out do you?
Waluigi: Yeah! This isn't honor! This just being push into sideline where the more honorable one can smash it out where we just an Item that summon and be done. I want to a part of them, not be part of a wa-ping item!
Vince: But Waluigi, would you rather not in Smash at all?
Tiki: Indeed, you forget that most are long forgotten people. They universe stuck in the past, never to move on...
Sablé Prince: Tiki is right, I glad that I'm here with you all.
Starfy: Me too!
Sheriff: It feel good to had the limelight.
Guile: Even if form what we are only known for.
Chef Kawasaki: We all here, taken part of a bigger world.
Bomberman: And hey, it still a honor to even be assistant.
Sukapon: And hey, it make people know us really well.
Takamaru: They many other universe that are long forgotten and many people unknown to us all.
Dr. Kawashima: Is a crossroad that we all want to crossover.
Waluigi: .........
Arcade Bunny: And besaid, don't they still invited you for party, Tennis and other stuff?
Waluigi: Yeah... Sigh... I guess you guys had a point. Sorry Spring.
Spring Man: No worry, man. If anything I kinda don't want to be pick?
Waluigi: Wa!
Ghirahim: Now why is that?
Spring Man: Simple, I like you guys. Even grumpy Waluigi here. And really, it would be too much of a trouble to had Springton replacing my assist trophy, along with my Spirit battle, even that we all are in the World of Light. Save for Ribbon Girl and Ninjara.
Zero: Yeah, it may not be him...
