It really weirds me out sometimes with how far the sanscest shipping gets. Like, when they have kids who have kids with the kids of other sanses? why. what is the need. also dont get shipping sanses with sanses.

tbh that is one part i never really got into,, i get the appeal of making fankids bc its fun to explore how that would go and they’re basically OCs so you can go crazy! but on the shipping them together side,,, idk why but anything to do with shipping characters who are minors has always made me a bit uncomfortable. it’s entirely a me problem and i’m fully aware that there’s nothing inherently wrong with it its just!! weird to me idk!!!!!

as for the selfcest bit tbh as a selfcest shipper myself i deadass do not have a goddamn clue what about it appeals to me. i guess its a bit of wanting to see how these two “different” characters would interact with each other? honestly i think if you change up their backgrounds enough you can make it so that while they’re technically the same person, they’re also just as much their own self as if they were different, and yet they can still use their “sameness” as a way to find a deeper understanding in themselves that they might not have seen otherwise. that’s how i do mine anyway!

so theres a convo going on on a post ive reblogged elsewhere abt the morality of portraying certain things in fiction and how it may or may not reflect on the creator irl and it rly made me think abt stuff

ive always been a believer in the idea of fiction 100% affecting reality and that if u write smth nasty theres gotta b a reason for that somehow. but after reading some pieces im kinda thinkin like. idk. i do agree that fiction can affect reality still, i think thats undeniable, and sometimes ppl who write certain things in fiction CAN and ARE actually into those things irl. but now im also of the opinion that not everyone is in that category and some ppl just want to explore things in fiction that they would never ever support or do irl for one reason or another. fiction can affect or reflect reality but in the end fiction is not reality. i think both can be true. just...make sure things are tagged bc a lot of ppl Including Me dont want to see certain shit in their fandom tags.

like idk. i hate certain subjects in fiction like of course pedophilia and underage torture porn and incest and i will never ever support or tolerate those things. but at this point ppl have the right to write about them themselves if it stays in fiction. fiction has always been a place to explore shit without it being done in the real world (even tho again i do know some ppl Do like these things irl. just not everybody). i feel like i would be a hyprocrite if i condemned everyone who writes content like that and then turned around and continued indulging in my own interests like at the very least the violence and murder in dragon ball and the other evil/problematic characters im interested in. ive literally written some brutal murder shit and...well. zamasu and goku black. thats all i rly need to say abt that lol.

🌀 so lets start off with NO END. NO END is basically a story that i made just usings ocs that ive thrown away, given up on and just stopped loving. in NO END, when a characters gets given up on, thrown away or is stopped being loved, they get stripped away from their usual lives and go or get teleported into, we could say, to this deep dark void of nothingness with the other characters. the story revolves around those characters trying to make their way out of that place while traveling to different universes and eventually with some 4th wall breaking elements,,,,, so.... yeah :D

🍄 then, lets move on to SFAP. so SFAP's story revolves around this guy named mark ( he's a whiteout btw ). so mark is basically an anxious wreck with no friends, 0 social life, anxiety and a bunch of unfortunate events that have made him spiral into the point that he's in now. one day he hears of a competition show called Search For A Place and decides to join bc his life just needs some flavor yk???? plus he thinks its a good opportunuty to improve and challenge himself + meet new people! and when he joins he actually meets some cool people, thats until everything falls apart when the competitions true nature gets revealed. first of all, the host is actually among the contestants and the show is led by their co-hosts because of that. if you lose a challenge, you get brutally murdered by the host in a dark secret room and because of how the host is among the contestants, the contestants have to find the host AND continue the challenges while also trying to not to die. theyre also trapped so they cant escape. and in the end, theres no prize. the story tells what happens to the contestants, marks growth as a person, the challenges he faces, his relationships and the other characters :D

🔨 so L.W. is about sentient objects that live in the house of a girl named Lucy. lucy has previously lost her home, family and "best friend" (omg they were roommates ) bc of an earthquake. so now shes in a new city with a whole new life waiting for her. but she doesnt know that the house she chose belonged to a witch years ago and there are sentient objects living inside it, sentient objects, now, with a purpose. so theres this other girl called Tiffany thats a bully of Lucy. lucy doesnt/cant do anything about the bullying because of her low self esteem and hardships about standing up, and one day,,,,, tiffany kills lucy. when this shows up on the news and lucy doesnt come home for a few days, the objects get worried and decide to search for her. then they remember this tiffany bitch exists and go to her house. but suprise suprise,,,, in the house are also other sentient objects that are rivals upon our lucys crew!! the rest is about how they react to other sentient objects, how they deal with the rivalry, what kind of events the rivalry brings, and.... lucy. also that tiffany mf. ( can you tell i hate tiffany )

mostly bsd, jjk & a bit of genshin, but i throw in ficlets and/or one-shots of other stuff to let Thoughts out.

not hate per se, but i've had complaints about tagging all ships from the start in my genshin ficlet compilation... when i was gonna throw them all into ao3 in one sitting.

also that one person who came to one of my Utahime Week fics, who was tagged as both gojohime and shokohime, to tell me "nooo shokohime are just friends yadda yadda" while praising gojohime as canon (i love it too, but it isn't). it was odd.

9. Do you write smut?

i have this thing when it comes to nsfw in general and smut in particular, aka up to certain point it makes me uncomfy but below that idgaf and even go like "nice, my ship having sex"... so.

most i can offer is barely-explicit stuff, and for fic specifically i see "depictions of character bein horny" and "pre- and post-sex" rather than actual smut.

10. Do you write crossovers?

not a lot, but the bsd+jjk thingie that came from rp and also birthed the dnd-ish au got me by the throat.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

as far as i know, nope.

as far as i know, nope (x2). though i do translate some rp solos to turn them into one-shots adding up stuff as well (i could just post them in spanish, but).

i apparently never run out of insp and will to write, so i can go fast as fuck. and my writing is one of the things i'm most confident about like fr.

hihi im starting a writing blog for svt but im relatively new to tumblr and its mechanics and all the etiquette and things like that. also im a jun biased and im weird in the way where i don't usually have inspo for other members? if that makes sense? so like idk is there anything i need to know or is it relatively acceptable to mostly only write for one or two members?

also sidenote but i really love some of your writings ahaha match of the season is my favourite :D thank you so much if you ever reply!

no that totally makes sense! i would say most authors on here will write for ot13 but they definitely write more for their bias than any other member. i feel the same way, for me it's easier to write for jun than for other members (and also i love him lol) so my writing ends up being like 90% jun and 10% other members. which is completely fine! at the end of the day it's your blog and your writing, and you should write for whoever you feel comfortable writing for and whoever gives you the most motivation. there are hundreds of writers on this site so if one writer only writes for a couple of members, it doesn't mean the other members won't get written :) nobody says you're required to write certain things or for certain members!

if you intentionally leave out one member but write for all the rest (i've seen writers who write ot12 and exclude jun because they aren't attracted to him), you might get some side eyes but again that is your choice. i personally wouldn't say a hard no to any members and i'll give them all my best shot, but that's my blog, and your blog is up to you.

as for things you'd need to know, i'd say the number one thing is interact with people! the best way to get interaction on your own work is to reblog and comment on other fics. as i'm sure you've heard me say before, reblogs are the most important feature on this site! it basically boils down to, treat others how you would want to be treated by reblogging their works and leaving feedback, even if it's just a simple "i really loved this!!!". it makes you stand out in our notifs and if you're also a writer it might even get you a new mutual.

other tips off the top of my head:

have a masterlist post (helps people find all your fics in one place) and have a guidelines post (makes it clear what you're comfy with)

DO NOT PLAGIARIZE AND DO NOT STEAL ANYONE ELSE'S WRITING (this one is in caps bc super super important!!! you can take ideas or inspiration from someone else but you cannot take their words or their writing. you'd think this one would be obvious but plagiarism happens a lot more than you'd think)

if you're inspired by someone else, tag them in your fic! it shows respect to the original author, and you should tag them whether it was from a fic you read or if they helped you brainstorm ideas. it doesn't have to be a super long thing, just a little "inspired by @onlyhuis's fic!!" is more than enough, but it goes a long way :)

like i said, you can write for whoever you want, whenever you want! when ppl start interacting you it's gonna be stressful because you want to make them happy and put out new fics often, but just remember that it's your blog and you get the final say on everything. don't put pressure on yourself to write constantly because you will get burned out and i promise it will not be fun!

if people send things that make you uncomfy, don't be afraid to delete (or block) them. it's your blog and your boundaries so don't feel guilty for standing up for yourself. also, ignore answer hate asks because they're just looking for attention so don't give it to them

trigger things properly! this is the little section before the fic that says "warnings". don't censor any words (using punctuation like bl00d or d3ath instead of typing blood or death) because it defeats the purpose of ppl who have those keywords filtered, so type out the whole word uncensored. this is a courtesy for people so they can choose to avoid content that may be harmful to them. (this also counts towards visual works, a lot of ppl use tags like "tw flashing" on gifsets)

speaking of tags, when you post be sure to put tags on it! it's the section at the bottom of your post with all the #'s. if you click on any of my fics you can see that i use tags like "jun smut", "seventeen scenarios", etc. these tags help people find what they want to read (but only tag relevant things; don't put "mingyu smut" on a jeonghan fic unless mingyu is actually in the fic). if you aren't sure which tags to use or how to format things, feel free to look at other fics for examples. if you read a lot of fics you might see there's a pretty standard way of doing it

the tags i use like "june.txt" and "june writes" are organizational tags. when you click on, for example, my "june writes" tag, the results are only my fics that have that tag. it basically organizes things into categories (which imo is the best part of tumblr) and it makes it easier to find different types of posts. it also allows people to filter those tags so posts with that tag don't show up (for example, i require minors on my blog to block the tag "minors dni" so that nothing nsfw is shown to them)

again like i said, don't be shy! make friends, join networks, send asks to people, reblog fics, etc etc. interacting with others is the #1 way to make writer friends :)

just a general tumblr tip: no one can see how many followers you have except you, so don't try to make it a competition of who has the most. it's what makes tumblr different from tw*tter and insta and it makes the social media experience a lot more casual because there's no influencers here. it's like a diary where you scream into the void and sometimes ppl scream back. a lot of writers do milestone events (i recently had one for hitting 1k followers) but you aren't required to do those either

if you have any questions about tags, filtering keywords, and other tumblr stuff like that, don't be afraid to ask! any tumblr veteran is more than willing to help break down our weird system to new bloggers

be proud of your work! even if it doesn't get many notes or feedback it doesn't mean you're a bad writer. writing should be fun and something you can enjoy doing, so don't make it seem like a chore by focusing too hard on numbers

all you gotta do bae is block them. don’t respond to them cuz it only adds gas to the fire. whether you use it as a coping mechanism or not, it’s nobody’s fucking business in the first place. they’re acting like eren yeager is an actual person but he’s not. He as well as ALL fanfics are made up. you’re doing the most you can by adding warnings, tagging the fic and adding a ‘keep reading’ tab with it. It’s not your fault that they choose to ignore warnings. It’s there for a reason.

Another note, nobody is glorifying rape. If you read a non con fanfic and think “hmm, well if it’s like this scenario, I would let it slide” then you should either seek therapy or you’re not old enough to be reading about topics like this. To know that some people think that we think rape is okay is absolutely absurd. We obviously know the fucking difference and would never want that to happen to us irl nor would we wish it upon anyone. And the fact that people are wishing it or implying it is truly appalling.

If dark content bothers you, filter out the tags and block those creators so you NEVER have to come across dark content. We won’t get offended, if you’re uncomfortable with it, it’s all good. I also don’t understand why people are getting mad that we’re calling it dark fanfics? What, do you want us to call it “Eren fluff” or some stupid shit like that?

Point is, nobody is gonna stop writing what they want just because you don’t like it. It may be helping someone mentally. If you were SA and therapy worked for u, congradu-fucking-lations but everyone is different. Tumblr as well as AO3 have nothing in the guidelines that say writing dark content isn’t allowed. Especially cuz Eren’s a fucking anime character lolzz.

re: the post i teblogged just before this (i didn't feel like putting it in the tags). there's this guy i know and he is very obviously autistic but he is also very very annoying. and some ppl are really mean to him over it. and it makes me uncomfy because

a) i am autistic and i am definitely capable of being annoying in the exact same way. i know this because i hear myself and think "god i sound like an annoying prat right now" so i know these people could be mean for me for the exact same reasons

b) they are specifically mean to him for being autistic.

the following list is specific to transmascs bc that's where i fit and that's my experience, but that being said if there are any transfem people that would like to pls feel free to add on with a list of your own!!

treat them like people first, not everything in a trans persons life revolves around them being trans

if they bind then make sure to mention it, even just in passing - things like adjusting a strap, feeling winded after too much movement/too long wearing it, taking it off/putting it on, how they make you all sweaty in summer, how they stick to your skin when your damp and it's uncomfy

don't baby them!! eg: zuko is a grumpy bitch of a character, even when he's trans in fics he should still be a grumpy bitch of a character bc being trans doesnt automatically make him soft or emotional

please, god, stay away from the cis saviour trope

also the tortured trans person trope, it is possible for trans people to be happy (then again, if you're writing an angsty story then fuck yeah make it hurt - i just mean don't write a trans character if you're just going to make them miserable bc they're trans yknow?)

you don't have to make coming out a big deal, you don't even have to make the character come out unless it's genuinely relevant to the plot (but also don't write the plot w a coming out in mind? if that makes sense?)

idk if you've seen my list of pet peeves in trans fics but basically stay away from everything on that list kjddjk

do your research!! on trans terms, on medical transition, on dysphoria vs dysmorphia, listen to trans ppls experiences etc

Yes yes yes to all of the things you just reblogged about tiktok and atyd. I've been in the fandom since the terms used where slash and lemon. So a while. I don't know if it because lots of new fans are really young (I'm talking 13-15 years old. Literal children) but I've been the one who now feels "uncomfy" in the fandom because well, I like complex, raw and real portray of characters and not versions reduced (by the readers) to a bunch of bullet points taken religiously. Where everything else is sin™. And it's not even about atyd or its author really (who shockingly, left the fandom. I reaaally wondered why) bc their other r/s fic is bloody great (it's a hairdresser/band Au. Highly recommend) but it's mature and I'm pretty sure would be considered really problematic by the same people (especially the bits about Remus past). I'm seeing a trend in this fandom that I absolutely do no like. Atyd is a fanfiction. Nothing more. Everyone has their hc. And if you are a child do not consume media that's not made for you. Fanfic authors are not responsible for your inability to read tags. If they want to write pwp (with or without the plot) and you feel uncomfy bc you are a child and description of sex should make you uncomfortable DON'T READ IT. If you are 14 your understanding of adults is not complete, because you aren't one. You can't know. But if I, an adult, wants to write a lie low at lupins where two other adults take out their frustration by having angry sex after a shouting match of insults and low blows well, Im bloody hell writing it and won't be made feel bad about it.

I think you were specifically talking about my tags about how I was just indifferent about ATYD and then began actively disliking it because of the fucking TikTok feed! Like literally, folks began using ATYD as a replacement in tags for like marauders and shit, and that was INSANE to me!! And like this is absolutely no hate to the author because I’m sure they are lovely, and they should obviously be so fucking proud of what they wrote and how huge it is, but JFC I hate it when folks find one FIC to latch onto and pretend this is the end all be all for FICs written for marauders era, this was way before my time, but I’ve been told countless times over that this was basically what happened when The Shoebox Project came out, and it’s just maddening to me!! Like ppl taking characterizations from a specific FIC and pretending this is the holy grail, only valid thing??? Like fuck off, no! And it’s also pretty obvious, and I’m sure the author wouldn’t be insulted by this, but ATYD feels very inspired by the movie versions of the marauders we got, and I just simply don’t vibe with those sort of personifications rip.

TIKTOK COMMENTARY IS SO FUCKING BLACK AND WHITE AND IT MAKES ME INSANE!!!! It feels so ingenuous and phony, and like so many of these folks are in some sort of “woke olympics” or some shit. The problem comes when folks begin vilifying others for “problematic” things they write, as if topics like such haven’t been written FOR CENTURIES! and haven’t been explored countless times in traditional media, so yes, Fanfic can both be a valid form of media while also being just a way for some people to get out some practice or whatever the fuck else. Also you don’t know what the fuck trauma people have been through, and I know if I wrote about my experiences, I absolutely will not be validating them by giving you guys my sorted history or what the fuck else, that shit is for me and my future therapist lmfao.

NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU!!! 

That’s the flat out truth, and if shit like toxic relationships or sexual writings, or whatever the fuck else isn’t your cup of  tea, yuh mood. Hell, we probably agree, but why are you out here making a TikTok scolding this characterization or trope or whatever??? As if a majority of us aren’t above 18 and like writing and reading about sex BECAUSE THAT’S A PART OF ADULT LIFE— unless of course you are on the Ace spectrum, then you of course are completely valid for not caring for it.

Just, listen . AO3 is miraculous for a lot of things, but their tagging system is absolutely fucking incredible. Folks are out there giving their entire triggers list in the tags, and in the rating, and if not, I will bet my bottom dollar that they talk about it in the Notes section before the FIC, so it’s on you to fucking read it and understand what your getting into. The only responsibility a writer has is to warn you in those sections, LEGIT THAT’S ALL THEY HAVE TO DO!! And like listen, when I was a wee ten year old trying to read FIC, I was stuck with fucking FF net and read shit I definitely shouldn’t have been reading becs I wasn’t lucky enough to have AO3 and all of the ways it protects and warns minors.

Okay it’s so weird bc usually when i dream it makes no scenes but this one had a plot and everything fjjdjsnan also I’m just going to refer to my self as bb bc I hate typing in 1st person djjsja anyway

So bb and vampy had a date at the fancy restaurant he always takes her to (I forgot the name 🙄) and they both had busy days so they were just going to meet up there but for some reason bb was running super late like an hour or two so she was speeding there and when she got to a stop sign some guy came up to her bc her windows were down and he’s like “you’re driving pretty fast” and she was uncomfy so she started trying to drive away but his head was like in the window so he was just like walking along side and then he started playing with the volume in the radio and her air vents so she just spread away and didn’t really care anymore if he got flung out and she was just like “ugh what a fucking weirdo” and as she was driving she remembered a tiktok where some guy put an air tag in a girls car and she was like omfg so she started to look around for one and SHE FOUND ONE IN HER AIR VENT and at this point she’s like shaking so scared some rando guy now knows where she is but she didn’t want to throw it out bc she wanted to show Harry so finally she gets there (and for some reason in dream world you like drive up and in the parking garage there is a hostess and he asks for you reservation and you have to hand him a card which tells him all your info” so she drives up and the guys like “reservation please” so she hands him the card and he’s like “oh running a bit late are we?” And she’s like “yeah I’m so sorry” and the guys like “I think Harry is getting ready to leave” and she like “what??? hi, i’ve read that INFPs are more prone to wanting to stay in their comfort zone and loving comfortable clothing mainly bc of their Si, but i think i’m an ISFP…and i have this problem that i’m extremely indecisive in choosing/buying clothes…especially with shoes…every damn time there’s something even remotely uncomfortable in a piece of clothing, i will feel it. “these shoes? too tight in the front? those? ugh, those hurt my heel? these…ah no, uncomfortable? those…even more uncomfortable” and this is how i am every time buying clothes…everything that MAY be uncomfortable, WILL be uncomfortable for me? i will feel every damn label on a piece of clothing and it will be uncomfortable for me if i don’t cut it off, for example, meanwhile an another person will not pay attention to that label or they won’t be as picky with clothes’ texture and how it feels on my skin. i used to spend hours shopping for shoes as a kid an even now(i’m in my late teens), every time i go shopping with my mum(for example) or alone i/we will spent enormous amount of time in a particular shop bc i can’t decide whether i want these shoes bc “omg they’re so pretty”, but “they feel kinda uncomfy, how can ppl wear these kind of shoes” and my mum would always say “it will get better with time, they’re just new, that’s it”, but once i decided that these are uncomfy, “they WILL be uncomfy forever, i don’t think i’d get adjusted to them with time”. and yet, sometimes i was forced to buy shoes or clothes i thought of as “kinda uncomfortable”, because my mum would say smth like(when i was a kid especiall) “we’ve gone through the whole mall and everything is uncomfy for you, but we need to buy smth for that upcoming event and these are the best option, so we’re buying them ” and i’d agree on “the best option” both because i was pressured to buy those and also bc i spent so much time defending my point of view that they were uncomfortable(“were” at the very first moment when i tried them on) and then i’d get this sudden realisation that “damn, they’re not that bad and uncomfortable, my mum was kinda right” the and sometimes my mum would turn out to be right, and the shoes or piece of clothing we bought really get more comfortable with time.

now…i’m sorry for that long piece of writing i’ve written below, i’m just wondering…could me often judging things on the first sight, having somewhat of a tunnel vision and feeling what my body finds uncomfortable on a very big level(and then being very stubborn, and not believing ppl when they try the same piece of clothing on and say “what are u saying? these are comfortable af, stop imagining things”) be Se?

You know, I've always had questions about the whole "Si is the function physical sensory awareness" because I am fairly aware of my physical needs but like...I am only human, and there are physical sensations I tune out, and I also have a decent pain tolerance, and I've found recently that when I have a job that is less routine-based that takes me away from a desk and a big water bottle I don't actually remember to drink water. And a lot of people who ask for typing will very specifically cite "but I don't have much bodily awareness and I forget to eat" as evidence they must be intuitive, but that's the only argument they really have.

Also I know this is basically a meme on tumblr at this point but I think people conflate executive dysfunction or merely getting distracted and forgetting to eat with functions and it's like...perhaps this is just ADHD or something, which brings me to my point. If you have exceptionally high sensitivity to clothing and things like tags and labels, and it sounds like you do...have you asked a physician about it? This sounds like straight-up sensory issues (which I believe are often but by no means always a symptom of autism or anxiety but I am not a doctor) and it probably has nothing to do with MBTI. Like I don't think you're uncomfortable because this is outside of what you are used to, I think you've just got some kind of tactile hypersensitivity.

With that in mind I don't know what your type is although the rambling nature of this ask makes high Ne seem pretty reasonable.
