I saw someone on Twitter talk about how BOTW-verse Zelda wouldn't have kids, which would end the goddess bloodline and now it has me thinking like....did every Zelda...always end up having kids? For thousands of years? Was the bloodline continuous since Skyward Sword Zelda (which has to be like...hundreds of thousands of years AT LEAST at this point). It's interesting to think about in a scenario where a Zelda doesn't manage to have kids....how does the bloodline come back...

I am of the DPxDC belief/headcanon that any variation of Danny who grew up poor in Gotham during his formative years before moving to Amity Park would not be friends with Sam without friction at first. It makes things more interesting and imo allows for more exploration of different themes plus character growth for Sam that she doesn't really go through in canon.
(this doesn't only apply to a DPDC au where Danny grew up in Gotham poor, but it was the first thing that I thought of where this might happen considering my Childhood Friends au.)
Now Sam's a compassionate girl, it's one of her defining character traits, but so is her hypocrisy and judgy-ness. She's the Not Like Other Girls' girl. This is in part of the show's narrative framing that makes her out like this, unfortunately though its still showing how she is as a character since its consistent enough to be part of her character description. There are also times where the show's depiction of her activism makes it look like she's performative about it. All of this makes her dynamic with a Danny who grew up poor in Gotham very interesting.
Anyways, Sam is aware of her privilege to an extent, but still has her blindspots - glaring ones, in some cases. Her self-righteous attitude would not go over well with a crime alley kid Danny. He'd like her, at first, but then she'd do something to make him mad - personally I think her judging people for not being vegan would annoy him the most, or at least would be the breaking point for him, because it was only recently that his family started actually being able to consistently put food on the table at all, good food nonetheless. And being vegan is expensive.
Any other behavior he noticed from her he'd slowly stop tolerating - her judging conventionally attractive girls and automatically assuming they're vapid and shallow for being feminine. Her anti-capitalist beliefs start coming off as superficial at worst, and Danny would eventually figure out that Sam either came from a family that was well off, or that she wasn't aware if her family was experiencing financial struggle.
He would still be friends with Tucker, but since Tucker imo is still friends with Sam, they'd still run into each other often enough to butt heads. Sam's got a nasty habit of refusing to take responsibility when she's wrong, but when Danny is arguing with her, and counterpointing her with stuff she can't retort back at without compromising her own beliefs, then forces her to start reflecting on herself. Especially when Tucker eventually starts siding with Danny and agreeing with him.
Does sam genuinely care about her beliefs and philosophies? Survey says yes. However that doesn't mean she's not ignorant, and she definitely is at times throughout the show (like when she released the purpleback gorilla thinking it 'wanted out of its enclosure' despite the fact that it was endangered and in an urban area) and I think it'd be a real fascinating dynamic between Danny and Sam to explore.
This isn't Sam hate btw, nor am I trying to make her out like "the worst person ever" bc she's not, i wanna make that explicitly clear. Sam Manson has a lot of positive traits about her but she also has an equal amount of negative traits that I think should be explored, she is not immune to the character development.

Am I the asshole for telling my mom I'm not happy that she's joining me to dog/house sit even though I think she should stay?
So a couple of pieces if backstory, I (21nb) live with my mom (49f) and my dad (59m), and my dad's a jerk. He's a verbally abusive asshole and there have been times when I've been afraid he'd get physical with my mom and me. We're both working hard to save so she can divorce him and we can move into a new place together since I'm in no financial shape to live on my own yet. I also dog and house sit from time to time for people in the community, but mostly my mom's friends.
My mom had confided in one of her friends about my dad and her friend suggested that since her family was going on vacation soon, both me and her should stay at their house to take care of their dogs. I was totally fine with this at the time, I definitely agree that my mom and I need to get away from my dad as often as possible.
Here's where the issue is: I have only ever house sat alone up to this point and I love it. It's the only time I get to be truly alone and thus the only time I feel like I can be myself. Now, again, I was totally fine with my mom coming with me this time, until something came up and she wasn't able to stay with me the first night. And that first night was great, I got to have full peace and quiet and when I thought about how I'd have to give that up the next day, I got really bummed out.
Well my mom finally got here late in the afternoon today and she could tell something was wrong and asked me about it. So I told her how I'm upset because I feel like the very little personal time I ever get was cut short. So she started gathering her stuff and telling me she would just leave then. I told her to stop and just stay because I was just being selfish and I really did want her to stay. She just kept insisting on leaving, I told her she had more right to be there than me since it was her friend that invited us and she deserved time away from the house and she finally decided to stay. I told her I was just being selfish and I would get over it and she just went into the room she's staying in and hasn't come out since.
I know me not wanting her here was just me being selfish and I was just trying to be honest with her but the way she reacted makes me think I did something else wrong. Should I have just not said anything? Should I have just let her leave? Then I'd just be more upset knowing she was miserable at home while I got to be alone. AITA?
What are these acronyms?

hii!! i suddenly have a pierro brainrot that i have to share to you!!
it's a royalty au and i kinda imagine the setting to be like historical manhwas.
y/n's father is a noble but he has some debts to the throne. the harbingers are nobles who serves the throne directly. so y/n's father sold y/n as a betrothed for one of the harbingers expecting for her to be matched with either childe/pantalone/dottore. but turns out she's betrothed to pierro who's way older than her
i hope this makes sense 😭 ik it's rather cliche sorry
and if this emoji is not taken already can i be 🌸 anon? thank uu!!
hi love!! AND YES I LOVE THIS THANK YOU THANK YOU <333 also i think that this emoji is already taken :(( maybe you could come up with something different?
fem!reader, tiny bit of mentions of violence, age gap, shitty fathers and noble pierro thirsting after you
imagine that it was actually pierro who was secretly pulling some threads from behind the scenes. he knew that your father wasn't a very capable businessman and made some...questionable investments and deals and now he's indebted to the throne. the many loan papers stacked on his desk and the threat of the regrator finally calling in for the money looming over him, and while your father might not be the brightest he's very much aware that it will mean your family's bankruptcy and ultimately, your downfall.
if you're drowning you'll grab even the blade of a knife; when he was finally called into the palace about the repayment he was panicking, pleading his case,
'just a few more months i promise!' but his desperate words fell on deaf ears as everyone had enough of his worthless wailing.
this is where in the heat of the moment he blurted out that he has a daughter, a young daughter that's just of marrying age and he'd be more than wiling to graciously present his darling only daughter to one of the most esteemed harbingers in exchange for more time.
frankly speaking pierro thought it was pathetic, basically selling his only daughter like some cattle to settle a debt he himself got into.
the white haired man frowned, deep in thought. he knew about you, saw you on one banquet or two while accompanying your father and he had to admit, you were a true beauty. beautiful soft (s/c) skin, glossy well kept (h/c) hair, doe like (e/c) eyes and those beautiful luscious lips that kept him awake more often than he'd like to admit. and yet what truly captivated him was your personality; soft spoken and polite with a quick and witty mind, the round of chess he invited you to play with while won on his part, was the most difficult one he'd had in a long time.
'yes' pierro thought, 'she'll be perfect, my precious future lady wife'.
the man almost smirked at the bewildered look on your father's face when he announced that he was the one to take your hand in marriage, the fool looked like he was about to piss himself. pierro was no fool, he knew very well that he was getting old and your father dearest probably hoped for someone younger like that brat childe or even pantalone.
but no, absolutely not. pierro was a terribly jealous and possessive man, if he wanted something he'd get it no matter the cost. frankly, it wasn't that hard to get your papa to agree to his demands, the vivid vision of breaking him on a cross, cutting fingers off one by one or whatever dottore has in mind definitely helped him make the right decision.
pierro allowed himself to smirk only when he returned to his chambers for the night. soon he'd have you as his perfect little wife here with him to keep him company, warm his bed on cold snezhnayan nights and finally have someone to return to after a tiring day of harbinger duties.
and all it took was one ridiculously high loan.

Can you do a GravesPrice wedding???? (Also I want the shadows to try to getGraves into a dress and they succeed! You don’t have too tho. You can have Graves in a tux.)
I compromised with a white tux and a bridal veil, I hope that's alright? I projected a little bit of my struggles with femininity onto Graves
I'm writing a longer PriceGraves thing right now that I hope you guys enjoy
Graves sighed as Jason, Mila and Oz sat with him. "I don't like this. I don't like this at all. I appreciate you guys trying to make feel pretty on my special day and all, but I uh... I don't think I want to wear a dress."
Oz gasped. "But you look so nice!" And he did. Graves really did think he looked pretty. But it wasn't him. The dress was tight around his waist and looser around the shoulders. It did look lovely.
Mila nodded. "Yeah, but it's his special day. What do you think would fit you best, Boss?"
Graves frowned and actually thought about it. He never really thought he'd get a day like this. When he was a kid, he was told weddings were for women. Then, once it became more accepted for men to care about it, he had started to realize he was gay which definitely meant he could never have this. His family would've never tolerated it.
Now, he had a new family. Family that liked him. That didn't mind.
Still, he struggled sometimes. He sometimes wished he could approach being gay the way his younger friends did. That he could take eyeliner and put it on and makeup.
But that stuff didn't spark the same feelings in him that it did them. It was not freeing. It just...sparked nothing.
Graves put the white suit on and felt... Well. It was better. The pants were so much more comfortable at least. He didn't like having his bare legs out. But it still didn't feel quite right. Definitely closer though.
Jason got the idea for the veil and once Graves put it over his face, he was pretty sure this was the closest he'd get to what brides felt on their wedding day. It was a nice mix of femininity and masculinity that just felt nice. Good even.
Graves found he liked a lot of things about wedding planning. The flowers. The tasting a bunch of cakes. Price looking at him fondly every chance he got. It made him forget about the returned invitations from his family.
Price was a saint. Always was. Better than he deserved anyway.
So the day came. Price and Graves went back and forth about who should walk down the aisle and they eventually settled on Graves because Price didn't want to risk his knee giving him problems and they had to rush to adjust for him. It didn't happen often, but his knee could have him almost bedridden on bad days and Graves had agreed with him at the time.
But all the attention would be on him.
It hit him hard as he walked down the stupid aisle.
The flowers were a mix of buttercups and peonies. The florist had tried her best to get him to change his mind and pick flowers that looked better together or at least matched, but Graves had wanted peonies and Price wanted buttercups and neither wanted to tell the other person no.
There were only a handful of people. The 141, Jason, Mila, Oz, Laswell, Farah and Alex. Not too many people.
Graves didn't understand why something ached in his chest. Why the suit felt stifling. The veil a giant arrow pointing towards him for ridicule.
Too feminine, not feminine enough.
Price looked at him and smiled.
Just right.
Graves was... just right. He was fine. Because Price loved him as he was.
Price gently lifted the veil and let it drape across his back.
"Beautiful."
Graves started to cry. Price grabbed Graves's hands and kissed them, while the priest spoke. He had insisted that there be a priest even though Price didn't care. But Graves wanted there to be, so they made it happen.
Price almost kissed him before the "I do"s.
"John Michael Price. Do you take him to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do."
"Phillip Thomas Graves. Do you take him to be your lawfully wedding husband?"
Graves had so many emotions. They almost choked him up until he couldn't say it, but he took a deep breath. "I do."
"You may now salute the groom."
They kissed. Soft and sweet. His arm went around Graves, holding him carefully. Graves went on his tippy toes to keep the kiss going, not for the first time hating the height gap.
A few of their friends clapped excitedly or whistled. Price pulled him away and smiled at him.
"Now, lets eat that cake, yeah, my love?"
Graves nodded and they held hands, cutting the cake. It was a vanilla bean flavor with a chocolate layer on top. They took their pieces and left everyone else to eat it. Graves remembered seeing videos of couples and offered a bite to Price on a fork. He made eye contact with him as he took his bite for mimicking him.
"You really do look beautiful. Even teary eyed. What happened?"
"I'm just really happy I got this day. With you."

Was nice to see the throwback to your early pnp fanfic!
I went back and read catalyst. I never quite understood it, but it makes sense now after reading your description of the story. Anyway, there's one line that has stayed with me since I first read it: "Perhaps because I am a woman, and less inclined to put other women on pedestals".
I think of it everytime I'm vaguely uncomfortable when people put women or any other minorities on pedestals. And it's often a reminder for me not to put any group of people on pedestals.
PS: it's fingernails on chalkboard that trope of Darcy confessing to Colonel Studmuffin (or Bingley with a suddenly new backbone), who then advises him to grovel. I like how you inverted it here.
Thank you!
I'm glad "Catalyst" makes sense now. It was definitely a direct response to the exact trope you're talking about. I don't really know why it became so popular in fandom to water down Darcy's willingness to listen to Elizabeth and separate her valid criticisms from her misjudgments and respond to them with zero expectation of meeting her again. Like, Austen fandom absolutely 100% made up the concept that Darcy couldn't figure it out on his own unless a man explained it to him.
I hated the idea even then (2006!), so while I thought (and still think) it improbable that he'd confide in anyone at all about the first proposal, I thought it'd be interesting to turn it around and have the confidante also be a woman. And I just cannot buy the idea of perfectly enlightened forward-thinking Fitzwilliams who were never going to share Darcy's reservations. So it seemed natural to go, "okay, he does have a family confidante who plays a role in all this, but by agreeing with him so hard that he can really hear himself."
And thanks about the line about putting women on pedestals. I didn't expect it to linger that way, but I appreciate that it did. I do feel pretty strongly on that point. There are lots of ways I'd write "Catalyst" differently if I were writing it now, but I'd keep that!

Hi! Sorry if you’ve already answered this, but what inspired your takes on Jack’s extended family in your fics?
hi!! sorry it took me so long to answer this ask, i was going to wait to answer it until i finished my most recent fic, but then i posted that and i just. didn't have the energy. so!! hi!!
i don't really have a specific source of inspiration for my choices about the narrator's extended family. i've always enjoyed writing ensemble stuff. i think my decisions for the narrator's family dynamics were based on my own interpretations of his characterization and influenced by my own biases and probably other various subconscious trains of thought happening in my brain. but nevertheless here's a breakdown of each decision!!
his mother: the narrator was raised by a single mom from the age of six onward, that much is obvious from the source material. i mostly work off of the film, because i've watched it so many times its details are more readily available for me to recall. i get the sense that his mom is no nonsense but also a bit of a pushover when she doesn't feel like putting up a fight, which is often. she was not the most attentive but that's not entirely fair to say because she was a single mom. i think the narrator's family was quite poor growing up, especially once his dad left, and she was working to support him and his sister. i think she's relatively soft spoken and quite reserved.
his father: obviously for this one i had way more of a base to work with, just based on the way the narrator talks about his dad in the film and the book. he's an asshole. he doesn't really give a fuck about the narrator. i do believe the narrator and his sister were this man's first kids. he did not marry their mother. he's never married any of the women he gets involved with. i think he's a scumbag. the narrator is, actually, genuinely, his only son. all his other kids are girls, which i think plays a huge factor in when he skips town. it has to do both with when the woman he's involved with starts to become boring to him, and when the oldest daughter he's fathered from this particular woman starts to like. become conscious and develop a personality. The whole:
"Often father and daughter look down on mother (woman) together. They exchange meaningful glances when she misses a point. They agree that she is not bright as they are, cannot reason as they do. This collusion does not save the daughter from the mother’s fate."
the sister: i chose for the narrator to have a sister, particularly an older sister, because i examined his character and something about me just led me to the conclusion that he FEELS like a younger brother to an older sister. she's about two years older than him. she's really good at pretending to enjoy herself. where the narrator utilizes apathy as a coping mechanism for the Everything about being alive, his sister swings hard in the other direction and uses enthusiasm and toxic positivity. i have more i'd like to explore with her, i think she definitely has the capacity to be more insane, and i think the narrator would love to see that. they have a relationship where, as soon as she was old enough to talk endlessly about any given subject, she would use the narrator as an audience. especially when they were teenagers. she could talk at him for hours while he sat in silence and afterwards she'd be like, "ok good talk" and he'd just give her a thumbs up. he knows she'll be back, same time tomorrow. it doesn't bother him. and i think he does listen, sometimes, halfway, he retains some of the details. after he moved for his job, she would call him and continue to do the same thing, and he didn't mind because he doesn't have a lot else going on. he doesn't have any friends. no one else is calling him. she stopped doing it after she got married because now she had a husband to subject to this, but now that she's getting divorced i think the narrator will be hearing from her more. also, he walked her down the aisle at her wedding. and five minutes before he did this, he told her that if she didn't want to go through with it, he'd help her leave her fiance at the alter. she played it off like he was making a bad joke, but he was being 100% dead serious.
the brother-in-law: i made the decision for the brother in law to just be fucking. lame. because i thought it would be funny if the narrator's sister is married to just like. the pinnacle of everything the narrator never wants to be. like, the narrator is also lame, but at least the narrator is having good sex and is getting the shit beat out of him on the regular and doesn't actually believe in any of the mission statements of his company. the bil is like the polar opposite of tyler, and the narrator thinks no one should settle for less. he's always hated his bil, has a vague inclination that his sister deserves better, but is still consumed by apathy so has never really done anything about it.
the nephew: the nephew is probably the least developed out of everyone here, which is really ironic because my idea for his character is basically that. he has a lot of the same ambitions that the narrator and his sister originally had, but is putting more of the sister's energy into it. that is, until he gets to college and completely fucking spins out. he drops out after one semester and becomes addicted to smoking weed. he'd be a walking panic attack otherwise. i think he made himself so sick about what he wanted to do with his life he just gave up. now he works at a smoke shop and is almost always high.
the niece, aka danny: i have to thank @rabbitmotifs for really pushing me into developing this little menace. when i first wrote "the idolatry of suburbia" i wanted to keep everything really light and vague because i was not ready to come to terms with the fact that these are technically oc's. but holly really pushed me into evolving danny's personality until i was eventually brave enough to pick out a name for her and employ it. you can fit so much lore into this kid. danny thinks her uncles hung the fucking moon, tyler durden is her favorite person in the universe, even after he snapped at her in my most recent fic. danny definitely has more inclinations towards batshit insane behavior and she indulges them without really questioning them, so when she's with her uncles she doesn't feel ostracized for just being herself. she loves these men. and she's definitely got some gender things going on. if you see her emulating tyler's portrayals of masculinity, no you didn't (she'll get embarrassed).
and as an extra special bonus, tyler's people:
tyler's mom aka mable durden: listen i was really pondering my orb for this one and it just came to me like a fucking premonition. i disregard everything tyler says in the movie about "his" family, i think these are just projections of the narrator's relationships, so tyler is practically a blank slate. and the idea that tyler never knew his father at all, that he was abusive towards his mother so she left him before he was even born, that durden is his mother's maiden name?? oh that shit made me fucking bonkers. i didn't know how to handle it when the thought first occurred to me. tyler gets ALL his mannerisms from his mother, he siphoned like his whole personality off of her. she's The cigarette mom of all time. i think she could be very mean, but it's because she was over worked and poor and dead fucking tired all the time. she loved tyler a lot. she was the type who interpreted "physical affection with your kids" as "roughhousing" and this obviously influenced tyler in many many ways. she's the reason the way he shows love and affection is not through words but through actions and physical affection. she's also the reason he's addicted to nicotine. and i do believe she was a chronic complainer of her son being taller than her.
sam: ok i'll be totally completely honest i read "the parts of your hand grenade heart" by @grave-the-demon and i was BOMBARDED with the "tyler having a sister" spores. i added sam into my draft of "every man you've ever been" VERY late in the writing process. but i didn't want to just. steal the dynamic away from grace so i changed my answer a little bit so i wouldn't be accused of plagiarism. sam is like a sister to tyler. she's going to be his friend for his entire life, but he does not have such a connection to her that he can remain stationary for her. he'd only stay still in one spot for two people: his mother and the narrator. also, i need everyone to understand that sam is like. really hot. like she's so fucking strong and super fucking sexy in a Gay Woman type of way but the narrator has never been attracted to women a day in his life so he just doesn't perceive her as attractive so it never gets stated in the text. but please know this.
i'll be honest, i made the decision when writing "the idolatry of suburbia" to give the sister one boy and one girl because i didn't want the narrator to refer to anyone other than by their identifiers: my mom, my sister, my brother-in-law, my niece, my nephew. this continues in "every man you've ever been" whereas all the characters introduced in relation to tyler are given real names: mable durden, samantha hanes. and in "see me on the eight o'clock news" danny is only given a name when sam points out the presence of a relationship between her and tyler. sam mentions that danny seems more related to tyler than to the narrator, asks for her name, and it is immediately stated. prior, even in that fic, the narrator had only referred to her as "my niece" because i'm a creative writing student and i need to be playing 8D chess all the time.
anyway, that's my little spiel. thank you for coming to my ted talk.

11 and 41 for the villains? (i LOVE reading your answers - the trio feel so interesting and well thought-out!! i like them so much!!)
SHUCKS... THANKA YOU... funny enough i already answered 11 for all three a while back but i'll definitely answer the other!!
41) How do they feel about children?
Buck would have you believe he hates kids, but really he's more just very unpracticed with and unsure of how to deal with them (at least he thinks so - he's actually pretty okay with them, particularly slightly older kids like Minnie, if he's not overthinking it too badly). Between his upbringing and current lifestyle he doesn't run into kids too often, especially not in situations where he needs to like, interact with them extensively or be responsible for them, so if he is put in that situation he is SUPER out of his element.
Davey, on the other hand, loves kids and is super comfortable around them. Like, he's just got Natural Dad Instincts. (In some ways he's a little selfishly happy Minnie decided to Assert Herself into his and Buck's life, because it's a taste of having a family he wouldn't otherwise get to have in his current Villain Lifestyle. he can't help but Dad that kid a little bit, and he'd really like it if either Minnie figures out his and buck's Deal/Buck tells her outright so he can be a Proper Uncle.)
Minnie's a kid herself (not that she'd agree with that assessment; she is thirteen, thank you very much, she's basically a grownup actually,) but I think, much like Buck, she's very uncomfortable with littler kids due to lack of experience with them. Like, she doesn't have many close friends her age, let alone ones with younger siblings, and she's an only child, and she doesn't really have any cousins or younger extended family members to spend time with. It is entirely possible she's never even seen a Human Baby in real life outside of, like, passing by one in a car for 2 seconds or something like that.

I suddenly noticed that Simon in a hoodie is paler than Kid Simon. At first I thought that the thing was that he had been on the Train for many years and had not received vitamin D from the sun. After all, technically everything inside the cars is not real, but is created with the help of those large spheres.
But then I compared Hoodie Simon to Ruler Simon. Ruler Simon has a healthy skin color, it's the same as Kid Simon. After that, I decided to compare Simon's skin tone with the skin tones of other white people from the show. And now I can't get rid of the thought that Hoodie Simon's skin looks yellowish.
Is it possible that he has health problems? He lived for many years without the care of an adult, Grace was the same child as him, they could eat whatever they wanted and not think about proper nutrition. It's possible that other members of Apex have something similar, it's just not so noticeable since they got on the Train relatively recently compared to Simon and Grace
I think that in AU, where Simon would have got off the train, he would have had to drink vitamins and various medications, and perhaps the doctors would have noticed some problems that he did not pay attention to, considering them the norm for his age.
Oh, and as we discussed earlier, he would be friends with Jesse. Jesse would make sure that he took all the medications in time. Simon would love to talk to him on various topics, because only to him he could tell everything about his problems and not be considered crazy at the same time
But I do not know which option is better. There are two options, in one Simon is in a hospital, in the other Simon lives with his parents. In both versions, Jesse visits him and they often call each other. Simon can call him late at night because he had a terrible dream about the Train.
But there is a third option, where Simon lives with Jesse and Lake's family. Simon's parents asked Jesse's parents to take care of their son, and they pay them money so they don't spend their money on Simon. So Jesse's parents are not against having Simon, and they also feel sorry for this boy, because thanks to Jesse and Lake, they know what kind of train affected Simon so much
Lake is nervous by Simon's presence in the same house with her, and Jesse understands her and does not ask for help. But Simon constantly apologizes for everything and to everyone, he feels uncomfortable in front of those who have to put up with him. And Simon constantly offers his help.
Lake eventually gets bored of it and she tells Simon that since he was able to free himself, Grace will be able to do it too, and he'd better look appropriate by the time she does.
And, oddly enough, it helps. And Simon begins to prepare for the day when he sees Grace again. He will have to show that he has changed and become better! As a result, Lake begins to help him with the idea "The sooner he recovers, the sooner he will move out of here," but Simon will not recover so easily from a decade on the Train. As a result, Lake will realize that she can't be mad at Simon, even if she really wants to. Damn, she even encourages him that Grace will definitely like how he's changed.
Jesse's parents are thinking what they will do if Grace and the other members of Apex really get off the Train. Their house will turn into a Hospital for Victims of the Infinity Train. They both hope that only Grace, who has been on the Train for almost as long as Simon, will get to them, and the rest of the children will return to their parents.
But they also joke that they agree to everything if the parents of all the children pay for them to rebuild the house to fit all the children.
(Initially, when I saw how big the question was, I was thinking of dividing it into two parts. The first part was about Simon's unhealthy condition and the second part was about the AU where Simon got off the Train. Then I changed my mind, because the part about AU without the part about the unhealthy state does not look very good)
Oooh, I really like these ideas! I love this AU, fr
First of all, I like thinking about characters I like getting some form of comfort - being at their lowest point before being nursed back to help. It's so therapeutic in a way that's hard to pinpoint. It's so comfy and soothing to me. But also, Simon having health problems would make sense, honestly same with Grace. Both are physically fit due to all the exercise they get, but I imagine they still have inconsistent diets and spending all their time under the artificial sunlight of the train cars would have to do nothing for you.
Secondly, I like how both Lake and Simon go through a bit of character development in this AU; Lake learning to not see Simon as a burden and to relinquish her resentment towards him, and Simon becoming more confident and self-assured despite what he's going through.
Also, all three scenarios are viable, I can't decide which one is best myself. But I will concede that Simon being roommates with the Cosays is a fun one!
Did I mention I love this?

In regards to his family, I've always thought of Fabian's situation kind of similarly, especially in my fics where I've had many unneccessary Thoughts like:
-No dad, not sure whether he's dead or he left when Fabian was really young so he basically has no memories of him
-I had no idea what I wanted his mum's profession to be but I knew I wanted her to travel a lot and not really be around, like she cares about Fabian but she's pretty absent and has been since he was young, so I made her an archaeologist (cop-out answer Ik but I liked how it could link her, Jasper and Fabian's uncle, which I like the idea of his uncle being on the maternal side (it also works for my Plotty brain))
-He's the baby of the family with 2-3 older sisters (give that bitch the youngest child complex)
-There's an age gap between him and his sisters (alluding to the idea he was possibly an accident and the dad dipped) and they basically raised him
-He had a sheepdog that he was inseparable with when he was younger (I have this image in my brain of the dog helping him learn to walk that makes me die) but they had to put her down a couple years into Fabian being at the school and he couldn't be there because it was exam season
-You are so right that he's a scholarship kid it just makes sense that while he's incredibly smart and loves learning I think when it comes to school he doesn't have the 'drive' say, Mara does, and it's more a case of panic helping him succeed
-That said, him and Mara definitely used to study together before they fell into their respective friendship groups and he'd help her with languages and physics, and she'd help him with biology and computer sciences
-His sisters take on a lot of the financial burden of the family so they often can't come to see his school events, but you bet your arse they showed up to watch the play in S1 and were dying laughing at his Victor impression the whole time and ribbed him endlessly afterwards for his obvious heart eyes at Nina
-His sisters have much stronger northern accents than Fabian (because he's been at the school full-time since he was young it's been southern-ed out of him) and they take the piss out of him for it (good-naturedly) but the rest of the house always notice when they come back after Christmas or Summer and Fabian's accent is much thicker
Thats kind of all of my coherent thoughts about his family situation but I just love coming up with unneccessary headcanon's about my blorbos
LOLLLLLLLL not the dead dad stick 💀 what can i say he's got momma's boy vibes so might as well turn that dial all the way up to 11 For Fun!
cont. under cut only for length lol you got me excited
i'm obsessed w all of these. esp the sheepdog (crying at that mental image help..) and youngest child complex i can Very Much see that for him. he's either that or an only imo -- for your particular set of headcanons, the sisters are soooo choice and very much the move (also love how that changes how you'd interpret his relationships with the other girls in the house, patricia in particular lol) -- if you ever make his sisters full ocs i need to know ASAP bc i already love them.
was also half-deciding on archaeologist for his mom's profession/was at the very least envisioning her as some sort of research faculty that relied on grants (and thus would be very busy, lots of pressure to keep the grants resulting in some tunnel vision re: her ability to be present as a parent, etc) and adding heavy travel onto that was something hanging out in the back of my mind -- archaeology, certain fields of anthropology, and similar would all produce that vibe and picking archaeology specifically is the Tried and True Classic + hard agree that it gives her a more solid connection to the shop (always good because i think it can come off as a bit of a red herring for his family's financial situation but that's just me lol) -- i was auto-envisioning ade as being his mom's brother and not his dad's despite the surname at first/only caught that when i was making my post, so i love that you just went for it and made ade his maternal uncle anyway. moms keeping their maiden name and the kids getting her surname is based as hell
and adding to that tbh...you could do some really interesting stuff with his mother's job re: her relationship with his father, ie. him being resentful of her not being around, but making the problem worse by leaving himself once he's had enough (not recognizing he's dooming his kid to the exact same fate he left behind type vibes). very very very tasty possibilities there. also very tasty possibilities for him and eddie to have Why The Hell Is My Dad Like That sessions if his dad isn't dead/truly did just dip and tried to come into his life again later same as mr. sweet did lol
re: scholarship kid YEAH!!! the flavor of Being Smart he has feels so much more anxious and precarious than mara's in a way that isn't justified by his actual school performance (he seems to find making connections pretty easy and has a good memory/attention to detail when he isn't being cursed) and would be better explained by that sense of "if i don't work as hard as i possibly can, i could lose all of this" -- yes, that's part and parcel of the literal life and death stakes of the plot, but idk he was like that waaaay too quick and waaaaay before things got life threatening. bro is just baseline anxious in a way someone smart and explicitly privileged (mara) wouldn't be because her level of security in her situation is simply Too High (and that ooooooozes out of her character, esp as the series goes on and she gets more starkly compared to characters like jerome).
that DOES make them very cute study buddies tho (esp w the dynamic you describe omg) and i'm so excited to play with that a bit later in foyf (because i will admit i lowkey forgot i even came up with that project plotline i sort of threw in there a couple chapters ago where i paired them up but it's okay i remembered now and i've been intending to write in the academic rivalry stuff from TOR all along anyway it's fine..)
also YESSSS HIS ACCENT...love you (head)canonizing that he DOES lose it gradually over the show and it makes me SO SAD!!!!!!!!!!! him gaining it back over holidays is so real and so cute (my own regional accent does the exact same thing whenever my dad's regional accent gets thicker because he talked to someone that made it thicker LOLLL) so ngl i'm fully swiping this one <3
we are truly on the same wavelength about him.. our minds 🤩 ty for sending these they're great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello dear,I’m in love with time, yeah the movie came out in 2016 (attlg) so what lol I LOVE how funny he is,but like there’s barely anything with him, even with Sacha,so if u could maybe write something about him, like reader got invited by alice but when reader went inside alice house they saw a mirror in maybe the bedroom and Alice nowhere in sight so they got in because they are curious and got teleported in under land, and as they walked they saw time castle and idk they got friends or even better enemies to lovers, anyway this is very long sorry, have a good day :D (reader can be a she or a they !)
Well first off, he thinks your exactly like Alice to all trust or any form of it is out of the window so say goodbye to that
Don't expect him to even be remotely nice to you from the moment he meets you
Ever since Alice came along all she has done is waste him and he despises her for that
It's the same with you
Even though you tried to reason with her that she's hurting the one thing that keeps this world turning she doesn't even listen to you
You agree with her all the way, but she's harming others to do so
Anytime you saw each other he'd get so pissed and frustrated at you
Yelling and trying to catch up before you and Alice could make yet another escape
Of course, he was always just so close but never exactly fast enough
And of course, in the end she realizes the truth, and everyone is happy when she finally returns what's been taken
After she's apologized you actually apologized as well
When time heard Alices apology he accepted it with a curt nod and a few wise words to warn her of future attempts to not listen to wiser beings
When hears you apologize, he is also apologizing for some odd reason
He cannot maintain eye contact with you for more than two seconds
The gears in the back of his neck are turning to hard he fears they may burst
He tries to calm himself by telling himself that what he feels is useless because you will be leaving for forever
Of course, you make a promise to come back the moment you have the chance
He nods his head in hope but also, he has a feeling that that promise may never be fulfilled
About a week later you actually came back
When you entered the castle, the seconds were super ecstatic to see you
They led you to Time and sure enough he was bent over working on something when he heard the seconds making commotion
"Will you be silent. I am trying to fix what you have broken and i cannot do so with all the chatter."
He says standing tall and turning to look in your direction
When he makes eye contact with you, he wastes none of himself to immediately cross the room and envelop you in a bone crushing hug
He sighs out as buries his head in your shoulder
"My dear, I was beginning you had forgotten your promise."
Of course, he takes your hand in his and begins to lead you around just talking about anything and everything
At one point you stop and begin talk about random things
"You know I thought you didn't want to ever see me again. Since I was with Alice and all."
He scoffs
"My dear. I have loved you since the moment I laid my eyes on you. Though it did frustrate me that you helped your friend conspire against me. I couldn't help but fall even deeper in love with you."
Those words shocked you, but you couldn't help but immediately hug him
"I couldn't agree more with you. I too fell for you too."
And like that you found yourself going to him more and more often till you finally just said screw it and almost ended up staying there
Every now and then, instead of just visiting time like usual you were visiting your friends and family instead and found yourself staying with Time
So, you could definitely say that life was beginning to become a dream come true
(So sorry for such the long wait. Thing have been crazy. I have a better explanation on my pinned post, so please go check that out so your and everyone else is up to date.)

I’m laughing/crying at the spy x family feligami AU. It’s so interesting because in a way it’s better and also worse 😂😂😂
Like, Felix also refuses to admit he cares and is often a manipulative ass like our favourite super spy. Except Loid is at the end of the day is a very easy to read tsundere who is overwhelmingly vanilla. Felix is 200% more ruthless than him and 500% harder to read so he’s definitely much more of a threat. I wonder if he’d have a higher or lower mission success rate because of his arrogant judgement calls? He’s a worse team player than Loid so he’d have to be burned several times before he started to properly rely on others. Even so, Felix still has his soft and humanising moments that can make you see the vanilla frosting hidden deep, deep under the 200 layers of puppet master cake.
Meanwhile, Kagami has her ruthless justice side just like Yor, and I can 100% see her committing to an ideology where you need to break a few eggs to make an omelette and she might as well be the one to break them For The Greater Good. Except Yor is so much more soft and vulnerable than Kagami, who is much thornier (the irony!) and doesn’t let her weak side show very often and I imagine that makes it a bit harder to get on with her at first. But at the end of the day, Kagami is just as kind as Yor is, even if her manner may be brusque, and I think in a way she’s also just as insecure - if not more. Yor’s insecurities tragically revolve around her not being sure what ‘normal’ is due to losing her parents at an early age. Kagami didn’t lose her mother but she also doesn’t know what’s ‘normal’ precisely because she grew up with her. She would only have her own uncompromising parent as an example and would know she doesn’t want to follow in her footsteps but without knowing exactly how she wants to parent instead either.
Like I can see Kagami observing the way Felix and his mother interact and having an identity crisis because she just can’t bring herself to be that openly and physically affectionate and that makes her question her qualifications as a good wife/mother, especially compared to her MIL who she can see Felix adores. But it would be so much harder for her to communicate that than Yor who can let everything out with her teary breakdowns. Then again, Felix is also more observant than Loid in a way, so I think he might able to notice she’s having issues and draw her feelings out over a game of chess or two.
And to top it all off, our feligami are much more suspicious and less vulnerable to rose coloured glasses. I can’t see either of them turning a blind eye to superhuman strength or suspicious absences. Loid and Yor try to keep up their fool’s facade with total innocence on both sides, meanwhile I can see Felix and Kagami actively snooping and conducting honey traps to get to the truth 😂👌🏻
It’s just hilarious how swapping the personalities of an adult assassin and spy for that of two teenagers actually somehow makes the series darker and edgier 😂😂😂
thank u for this analysis on my spy x feligami au 🤗. i'm glad i wasn't the only one with these thoughts raging in my head as i put off grading homework for 2+ hours to do this.
and thank you for blessing me with the felix cupcake analogy. i agree, loid is (somehow) way more chill than felix, whose 200 layers of puppet master cake (i WILL be chuckling about that forever) can both help and hinder him. i think as a solo agent, felix would be really successful, easily outsmarting all his enemies. if he had to team up with anyone, especially franky, he'd make a mess.
yes!! kagami is yor but with that Greater Good mindset and more self-confidence! i bet it was tomoe who raised kagami to be an assassin, too. her first assignment was taking out the tsurugi tech competition, and she was so good at it tomoe just kept giving her bigger assignments. this is spy x feligami au canon now.
omg YES thinking about their relationships with their in-laws is giving me so many delicious angsty ideas. kagami would be just like you said, amazed and intrigued and mindblown that someone could be so affectionate with their mother, and have an actual healthy relationship with a parent! and then when amelie started to embrace kagami as part of the family and treat her like a daughter...u bet kagami would kill all her enemies. and then on the other hand felix would be Upset to discover kagami didn't get to have that growing up. it'd be all the more motivation for him to find excuses to bring kagami around to visit amelie.
"I can see Felix and Kagami actively snooping and conducting honey traps" ME TOO DUDE. they'd start some mr. and mrs. smith type shennanigains, probably actually try to kill each other for real a few times and think that was so hot. darker and edgier it may be, but i imagine by the end they'd go rogue and be like the mom and dad in spy kids. basically this au is the prequel to spy kids.

Chrissy X Eddie headcanons?
My own:
Chrissy enjoys wearing Eddie's shirts, she doesn't wash them after she wears them any longer because she knows he likes her scent.
Eddie loves playing with her pompoms and knows her routine pretty well from watching her practice. He goes to all the rest of the sporting events for the year, but just to watch Chrissy cheer.
Hellfire had an intervention with Eddie, because he was just pining and sighing a lot. "Eddie, PLEASE do something about your crush". I think he'd get all blushy and try to deny it. I think Hellfire would think Chrissy is pulling him along UNTIL THEY SEE THEM TOGETHER and realize "oh SHIT, she's just as bad as he is". She came to see them, at the Hideout, FOR EDDIE.
The 86' necklace was from her parents, her and Eddie switch necklaces. She has his guitar pick and he has her 86' (she says it's for luck). I think that, Chrissy is extremely smart and will help Eddie study (Eddie is too lazy to try, but he has the intelligence).
Eddie does graduate this year 86'. He doesn't want to go to college because he can't afford it. Chrissy teaches him about scholarships and FAFSA (based on my mom, who didn't go herself because she didn't know FAFSA was a thing when she graduated high school). Eddie proceeds to get a scholarship from the DND writers, he submitted his own campaign idea and they picked it! He goes to school for creative writing. Chrissy goes to school for teaching.
Chrissy tells Eddie about her eating problem and her mom. He convinces her to bring it up to the counselor, which she's never done. The counselor gets her in contact with a psychiatrist and she gets help. Eddie is extremely supportive and eats slowly with her. He slows down in his speed because she'll stop eating if others are no longer eating.
Wayne LOVES Chrissy, she's the sweetest thing and he sees how much she makes his nephew smile. Wayne hasn't seen him smile that hard in years. Wayne says that Chrissy can stay over whenever. He knew her mom in high school and knows EXACTLY the type of woman she is.
Chrissy's mom flipped out when she told her that she had broken up with Jason. Her dad didn't help her much, he has no backbone when it comes to her mom. Her brother (I see a lot of people say she has a little brother), the only sane one in the family, likes Eddie a lot and thought Jason was too fake.
Chrissy starts hanging out with Nancy and Robin more at school. They're a badass girlgang. They love watching Robin try to flirt with Vickie.
Max also loves Chrissy, she's always been super nice to her. Max loves it when Eddie and Chrissy get together because she gets to see them act all cute at the trailer park.
Omg I went on a Chrissy tangent but my thoughts still hold up.
I haven't really thought of Eddie x Chrissy headcanons yet, mostly too focused on writing my fic and reading other people's thoughts about them.
But I one hundred percent, wholeheartedly, agree with the idea that Chrissy wears Eddie's shirts. She especially loves wearing any old band t-shirts that he has (because he definitely has some) and every once in a blue moon she'll incorporate one into her everyday wardrobe. It doesn't happen too often, because she very much likes wearing her usual attire, but Eddie nearly loses his mind the first time he sees her wearing one of his shirts in town and/or at school.
Chrissy absolutely goes to every show that Eddie's band puts on at The Hideout, even though Eddie tells her she doesn't have to go to every single one (he's still getting used to the idea of someone supporting his music so enthusiastically). But she loves supporting him, so she goes to every single show.
Love the idea of Chrissy becoming a teacher. I could definitely see her going into elementary education, but I could also see her going into middle or high school education, hoping to be someone that students can go to when they're feeling stressed by school or home, in the hopes that they'll confide in her the way she never felt she could confide in anyone about her own problems.
I could totally see Eddie being the self-sacrificing type in his relationship with Chrissy. Because although her mom is a horrible person and completely judgemental of Eddie, he doesn't want Chrissy to regret choosing him over her family and potentially losing all contact with them because of it. Which he tells her. But she won't listen, is insistent that she won't ever regret being with him, and that if her family can't accept them together, then she doesn't need them.
That's really all I can think of right now, but I absolutely love these two together and I'm super bummed they didn't catch the chemistry between the actors until it was too late.

Morell loves his little piglet~ she's become so much more compliment and she even asks to be held. However, some family matters came up and he has to return home for a short while. While Morell loves piglet, there's no way his family would be comfortable with her, especially at a time like this... So who does he give her to? The Brat would mean her no harm, He's cheerful ,hard-working, and could protect her if the time came. But Grimly has no idea how the human diet works so there's a 100% guarantee that Piglet is going to become sick from only eating sweets.
While he doesn't mind the bobbles on a personal level, they tend to fuck up pretty often. Hell, he can barely trust pepper with a knife so there's no way they could take care of piglet without messing something up. He always shudders when he thinks of the time Turnip almost spilled boiling soup all over piglet.
there's no fucking way he's giving his piglet to the fucking clown.
Patches is alright. He's never wronged Morell and he could definitely keep her safe while he's away. But as it is, Patches is swamped with work, trying to create a new line of bobbles. Apparently, Someone ate some pink bobbles and then fled the scene, leaving behind no evidence.
With the only sane choices gone, and everyone else swamped with work, He has no choice but to turn to an old friend with whom he's recently reconnected with. Morell makes it extremely clear that if the Ink cap tries anything, a swift chop of a clever is sure to put him out of commission. Nonetheless, the lanky monster accepts the piglet with grace. Sending the skeptical mushroom away with much reassurance.
You look so adorable! Morell put you in this charming pink sweater with tiny pig embroidery and a skirt to match! Shags just adores you, but his ideas of bonding activities are a little strange... He insists that every night you spend with him must be spent to its fullest.
Every night, he drags you to his bed and makes you sit on his lap while he reads you one of his favorite horror novels. The unique vibrato of his voice shakes you to your core and he narrates the tension-filled scenes, making sure to stroke your neck as an act of useless comfort...
The days arn't much better either. When you tried to wash yourself he insisted that you didn't know how to work the bath. He thought it was so cute when you trembled in the cold water as he scrubbed down your body. Why are you so scared? he even brought out those 'rubbery ducky' things you thought were cute.
When you finally settle into bed Shag doesn't fail to notice how you squeeze together your thighs after the bath. He did promise Morell he would take care of ALL your needs.
As for when Morell comes back...
Adorable scenario. 😳👏👏 Thank you.
That would just be a death sentence however, Shags is crazy, but he's not clueless. You're going to squeal to Morell, one way or another, because you trust him more than the ink cap. Shags may be taller than Morell, but trying to take him in a fight is a horrid mistake.
Putting aside that Morell would probably want to put Piglet in Admin's hands sooner than he'd turn to Shags, as opportunistic as the ink cap is, I don't think he'd chance direct lewd acts.
If Shags wanted to do something gross to you, he'd come to Morell about it first, wording it in a way that would enable Morell's desires and tilt him into agreeing.

today ended up being mostly uneventful
dad slept most of the day again although he definitely had some anxiety at one point while i was watching him to let my mom get a nap
he keeps trying to take his oxygen off and we've adjusted it as best as we can so it's comfortable, but he really needs it
he took it off while i was watching him and i thought for a minute there he was going to fight me trying to put it back on because whenever i'd try to put it back on him he wouldn't turn loose to let me do it and i didn't want to have to force him or push his hands away because i'm trying to be as gentle as possible but eventually he let me help him put it back on
unfortunately it was because at that point i think he'd had it off for a few seconds and wasn't able to breathe as well so his anxiety spiked and even when it was back on him he started telling me he needed me to go get air, he needed air so i had to reassure him it was on, i just checked it with my thumb, it's flowing and to just breathe it in
we had to give him some of the medicine for anxiety and that seemed to settle him again but i've noticed we're having to do that more because he's so quick to being stressed out
our family friend was outside mowing the grass and every time he'd go past where my dad could see from the window it'd wake him up and he'd be a little restless before drifting back to sleep again
he didn't really end up eating much today and any time he was awake my mom would offer it
i think at one point he said he'd eat some of a banana but by the time i went and got one for my mom to feed to him he wasn't opening his mouth for her (i try but i don't think he likes for me to feed him; we gave him a teeny tiny piece of chocolate earlier and i tried to give it to him but he just closed his eyes and wouldn't open his mouth even a little but when my mom offered it to him he took it and he seemed to enjoy that)
we've given mostly just a little water today, usually after he takes some medicine but a few times whenever we could when he was awake as well, but not too much because we don't want to hurt him or make him choke
he was talking a lot today, though and it's weird because like...whenever my mom's over there next to him he's good. he just sleeps, will wake up every so often but he's okay, he goes right back to sleep, etc. but i think even just get being a few feet away on the couch where he can't immediately sense her presence it gets him all out of sorts because he becomes so restless and will not stay asleep for longer than a few minutes at a time and will wake up at the slightest provocation
i kept having to get up to lean in real close because you can tell it's hard for him to get words out and he's always been kinda hard to understand (i remember one of my friends i knew since elementary school once told me that they always relied on me to translate what he would say because they could never understand him) so those things combined with him also being pretty groggy means his words were just coming out as mush and my mom and i were doing the best we could to try to make sense of what he was saying but neither of us really could
one thing we did catch, though, and that tells me he's still in there for sure is that my mom said she loved him and he mumbled, "anna said you didn't" which is how he jokes so my mom started laughing and called him a stinker and he smiled
at one point too i think this man may have actually been on his death bed ranting about capitalism because all i could make out was, "charging.....they charge different for different people.......always sending a bill.....everything's a charge" something like that? there's really no telling, i just agreed with whatever he said and reassured him regardless of all of that that everything was good and taken care of and anything that needed to be sorted out would be handled, not to worry
we think he also said something about there being dogs in the house and yeah, we have the one but...no more than that and this was way before our family friend came with his dog, so we were wondering if he might have been seeing the dog we had before this who i know he was very attached to
oh, also at one point today my mom decided to play him some music. she's been using this little portable speaker to play some calming music which does seem to help him sleep better, but during the day she played him some of his favorite classic country and he was smiling at that for a while (we turned it off later because i think he was getting tired of it, but it was nice to just sit and work while listening as johnny cash and willie nelson sang to my dad through the speaker)
that was something he'd do a lot, especially when he had downstairs to himself i could hear it through my door sometimes he'd be on youtube pulling up his favorite songs and blasting them. he'd sing along, too and sometimes change the lyrics to be about our dog as he sang to him
it was like reliving that again which was really nice
oh! and the clothes i got him finally came!
i had gotten him this nice cup that would keep his drinks cold but i don't think he's going to be using it now so that sucks. i really wanted him to have that before we got to here but i was at least able to get him the clothes so that's the big thing
we went ahead and washed them and mom got one of the pairs of pants out from the dryer to change him into and he seemed to really like them so i'm glad
he's still enjoying his mattress topper and a new super soft set of sheets my mom ordered also arrived today so we washed those too and she said when the aide comes tomorrow to bathe him she'll change the sheets so that should be real nice for him
i'm not really sure what i hope for tomorrow other than just as much peace as possible

Hey bestie! Long time no talk. I hope the rest of your 2022 was good and that this year has been treating you well so far.
I’ve been on my Battinson bullshit recently, so I thought I’d stop by and share a few hc’s.
1. After everything with the Riddler, Bruce gets heavily pressured to be more involved with the company—mainly he gets pressured into having Twitter. He’s promised he doesn’t have to run the account, it just has to have his name. He’s promised someone else will tweet from it. Bruce agrees. His first tweet is a picture of his cat. The internet goes nuts for it. He then decides he’s going to run the account and only tweet pictures of his cat. He’ll post about something the company is doing to help Gotham but the tweet is above a picture of Vengeance. He’ll definitely send a picture of Vengeance cuddled up in some blankets with the caption “when you’re mean to me this is who you’re being mean too.”
2. Occasionally Bruce fights people on Twitter. It’s not often, but sometimes he gets a bit hot headed. Since sexism exists I think a lot of people would congratulate him on ideas/work when it’s been stated that it was the work of his wife. Even if the idea came from someone else within the company Bruce is 100% giving them credit. He tweets “ I really don’t do shit.” It then becomes a PR nightmare. The board isn’t impressed, the internet is. Twitter would simp for this man.
3. Sometime after their marriage they do a renovation in the house. Reporters catch wind of this and gossip magazines speculate that she’s pregnant, and there’s gonna be an heir. Soon everyone believes it. There’s no baby, and no heir. They renovated an entire room for Vengeance. They announce their baby/home renovation on Twitter. Once again the internet goes nuts.
4. Bruce is secretly a huge romantic softie. He’s always thinking of little romantic things he can do. However, Bruce is a little shit so I imagine he’d occasionally send her a text that says “this made me think of you” and the picture attached is random. It would cause a little bit of chaos.
5. I imagine that her and Bruce would be close in age. However Gordon only calls her kid. She finds it a bit annoying because “we’re practically the same age.” I think Gordon would sigh before saying “he’s not my kid” since Gordon thinks of her as a daughter. She’s then stop pestering him about calling her kid.
6. Alfred starts making them both eat fruits and vegetables if they start getting preoccupied by other things. If he thinks they still aren’t getting enough food or rest he’ll enlist Gordon’s help. Alfred and Gordon are an unstoppable duo.
You’re simply the best.
🦇
Hi bestie!! Hope you've been doing well! Sorry it took a hot minute to answer this, it's been a busy week!
Gonna start by saying I love that you still think of hc's all the time and still want to send them to me 🥺🥺
1. Bruce 100% would accidentally turn his social media into a stan account for his cat. But then when he realizes people love it, it encourages him, and I feel like he'd get more ridiculous with it. Like "Look at Vinny's new collar" and a picture. But with every small moment ever 😂
2. He definitely would occasionally fight on twitter and I bet he'd be great at one line takedowns tbh. I bet he could just rip into a person so easily & efficiently that yes it does become a PR nightmare, Bruce doesn't give a shit. It makes people love him.
3. I could definitely see this happening. And they accidentally encourage it because they always call their cat their baby and the baby 😂😂
4. Why did this make me think of that post with Edward Cullen and the effervescent snail I know exactly why he definitely is a little shit sometimes but a romantic at heart. It's canon (to me at least)
5. Gordon very casually tosses this out too and thinks nothing of it, meanwhile she's kind of choking up/ emotional about it because aww he sees her as his kid/ as family and damn now she can't comment on it anymore
6. Alfred and Gordon team up to make sure they get their fruits/ veggies/ sleep. They text each other about it. Also I like to think that this is actually canon with Alfred (remember that green juice in the movie??)
I miss you bestie 🥺 Hoping to publish some more battinson material someday! (I have some non-motn and motn related ideas!)
