For now, the difference is being able to get sunlight a bit more often. But not much else.
Am still in a grey area where some people could argue am still housebound, especially with the necessary spoons to do so. So it's whatever.
Can u pls explain why moving back means you are no longer housebound thank u
Inaccessible environment and hostile architecture are capable of worsening different aspects of disability, as well as making it hard to reliably go in and out of a space on their own or with just the available help they have. Negative feedback loop.
The usual example is wheelchair users living in an apartment without wheelchair ramps, no working elevators, with heavy door difficult to open in wheelchair, on an upper floor, and so on.
In our case, it was a combination of physical, mobility, mental, and neurocognitive disability issues.
At the moment, going back to birth home has familiar pathways that include parts with less effort. Though can't say they're truly "accessible", they're just less "inaccessible" and is a house with a different layout.
So can at least briefly go out much further than otherwise could have.
Though, not enough to get out consistently nor do socialization + appointments on own that way - just enough to not be on the same disabling level of before.
enough to decide it doesn't fit our internal definition of "housebound" at least. By other people's definitions maybe, we'd still fit that but am unsure.
Is enough to be more manageable for our neurocognitive issues as well, without as much risk losing it forgetting where we are and what we were doing while not being far from "home", for example. Amongst other things.
Pros and cons.

A significant portion of the western "left", especially online, are shocked or even offended that global south people not only know about politics in the united states but have opinions about them. They think that, because they live in the first world, that that's all there is and thus events beyond the border rarely register as a blip lest it got blown into the limelight like with Palestine. They project their own ignorance onto the global south.
But of course the global south would be intimately familiar with the politics of the first world! What gets decided in washington or brussels or london or paris or berlin gets exported the world over. The Palestinian cars about the arms deals of the united states. The Nigerian cares about the "strategic resource" policies of france. The people of the global south are at the whims of the worst policies of the imperial core but who have absolutely no say in it. Like the delian league, the slave colonies most definitely had a stake in the machinations of athens but ehoch they could neither vote nor represent themselves.

Well hey there! I used to be ghonrenoki but either the growt in traction or the high amount of ask and messages flagged my past blog as a robot :^)
I'm a venezuelan disabled trans artist still in urgent financial help over here. I don't want to repeat myself of be too personal, but essentially our car's wheels broke and we now have a new urgent thing to assist, so that's why after consulting friends and clients I elevated a little the goal and comm prices.
If you have the chance, please consider making a donation, buying a commission, or just helping me by rebloging this post is more than enough! <3

The last time we went on a mass TERF blocking spree when getting unsolicited asks, we saw a familiar user being mask-off TERF.
The new username of syntax of black (same description, icon, banner, and way of speaking).
The blog that claimed to be a black trans woman on an empty blog, and added long blocklists to our posts in april 2023 and june 2023 claiming 40+ users were super racists and all friends, with little evidence ("this user reblogged posts from the blog 5 times removed from this blog, therefore they're all friends").
Which was the least surprising thing.

Our family's dysfunction continues.
They tried to have us in the middle of a full-blown argument.
We can't speak so that would mean putting stuff in an AAC that takes time and can easily be ignored more than spoken (screamed) language.
N then they left.
