okay so throughout the game there are some heavy implications of abuse from his sister but they completely throw that away. they don't let him heal from his trauma or even realize that no, his sister did not love him and so people think he's into incest when he's a victim of grooming. it sucks even more because he was really cool before that :( they also gave him an outfit resembling a nazi uniform but it's never even implied that he's a nazi... spike chunsoft is just horrible when it comes to this

Up until [spoiler: the trial of the third chapter], the game builds him up to be a charismatic and kind of weird man. He would have had great potential, but instead the game pulls a [spoiler: 'SURPRISE! HE ACTS SO CREEPY BECAUSE HE WAS GROOMED BY HIS OLDER SISTER, AND EVERYTHING HE DOES, LIKES OR HAS AS A MOTIVE IS DICTATED BY WHETHER SHE WOULD HAVE SUPPORTED IT BECAUSE OF HOW OVERLY CONTROLLING SHE WAS, BUT INSTEAD WE'RE GOING TO DEPICT HIM AS SOME INCESTUOUS CREEP FOR IT FOR NO GOOD REASON'], and it is so darn irritating to see so many people hate him because they mistake his character as just being [spoiler: incestuous, even though it's clear that it was abuse.]

okay. there's layers to this shit. so gimme a second. spoilers for all of danganronpa v3, cw for incest specifically. Shinguji, for the first half of the game, is a Cool Dude. A lot of the characters think he's kind of a freak, but I just read him as being autistic and bad at social cues (for example, not realizing when it is and isn't appropriate to discuss death or sex). He's always very polite, though, and never tries to stir up any trouble. Then, Chapter 3 comes to its awful, awful conclusion. Shinguji has murdered two of his classmates in cold blood. Why? Because he had a spiritual experience that led him to believe his dead sister needed one hundred friends in the afterlife. Also, he and his sister were lovers. Also also, he manifested what basically amounts to a tulpa of his dead sister that emerges when he takes off his mask. So Shinguji went from being a cool character to an incestuous Buffalo Bill/Norman Bates character. But wait, there's more! In optional dialogue, there's a LOT to suggest that Shinguji was actually a victim of grooming by his sister (she was older than him, he states she was very controlling, the tulpa version is really mean to Shinguji, etc). So Danganronpa not only turned this guy into an incestuous serial killer with a "scary girl personality", but they implied that all this happened because he... was a victim of abuse? And he didn't even realize it until he died??? But here's the kicker: he was screwed over by canon... in canon. Let me explain. Every character in Danganronpa V3 is, effectively, a fictional character placed in a real body in-universe. Teenagers sign up to be put in a murder game, get their original personalities replaced with new ones written by Team Danganronpa, and they let them loose. Clearly, not everyone gets what they want out of that deal. We are shown three audition tapes from three different people who went on to become characters in V3 (again, all in-universe). Saihara wanted to be the first detective in Danganronpa history to kill someone, he ended up never killing anyone. Momota wanted to cause a massacre, the closest thing he got was being the assistant in someone's assisted suicide. So, it's very possible that the original Shinguji wanted something very different out of his character, and the in-universe writers of this game *deliberately made him this way*. They gave a teenager trauma he very well may not have had before. Obviously, this implies that the entirety of V3's cast got screwed over by canon in-universe, but I think being turned into a victim of incestuous grooming on a whim of a few writers is one of the biggest screw-overs I could imagine. And of course, let's not forget the evidence that this was written to satisfy a writer's fetish. There's a lot of incest in V3. Previous entries in the franchise made jokes about it (because its an anime video game and we cant have a normal fuckign anime game), but immediately after Shinguji dies, two other characters enter an incestuous relationship. Admittedly this one is played for laughs, as the characters are robots and thus cannot be actually related, but it's still weird. And THEN you realize that one character, Tsumugi Shirogane, was secretly a writer for this game all along. And then you realize there's an optional scene where you see Shirogane's deepest romantic fantasy... stepsiblings hooking up. I don't know if any of this makes sense, especially if you haven't touched this series with a 10 foot poll. But I'm tired and nauseous and just wanted to get my Shinguji essay out of the way.

uncalled for incest plot in a franchise that is already riddled with incest as well a making him a serial killer on top of that. Every single aspect of both of those things conflict with what his character is about, reducing him to a creepy weirdo and glorifying abuse against men because the perpetrator is a woman (who is also older than him and was supposed to be his caretaker)

Deeper understanding of Korekiyo reveals he was most likely a victim of grooming and assault, has a completely warped perception of what he went through while the game actively wants to paint him as the perpetrator. Korekiyo deserves better

Jordan isn't really a sports or gym type of guy. He mostly stays somewhat in shape via his long walks/hikes through the forest about 10 minutes walking from his house. He also just walks to most places that are close enough to do so in general. As a result, he maintains a fairly fit figure, albeit a bit soft around the middle <333

Oh he is very very smart. He always excelled in all of his math and science classes in high school and then in university. As such he easily could've gone into any field of science he wanted. He always had a sort of Renaissance man type of mindset, thinking he could do a number of areas of science. He had such a hard time picking; there's just so much to learn and know! By the end of his first four years of college, he had narrowed it down to two: mycology and forensic medical science.

He ended up going to medical school to follow forensic medicine as a career but independently pursued studying mycology in his own time.

His social etiquette leaves much to be desired, however. He is awkward and strange and most people find him pretty offputting. He's not trying to be creepy, but the fact is, most people don't wanna hear about the various dissections he completed throughout his higher education!

Though, to the general population's credit, those who found him creepy did end up having every justification. They just didn't know it. See, somewhere along the line of his career as a forensic medical examiner, he started stealing corpses. Yea, I know. He'd thought he'd stumbled across some fascinating new revelation or other about fungi and its relation to human biology and he just needed to test it out.

He kept at it and eventually he'd been stealing dead people for his experiments for 5 years.

Then he got caught. And subsequently fired. Though, he did avoid any charges sticking in court.

None of that deterred him. In fact, it may have only emboldened him. Without a steady source of corpses, he started graverobbing. He quickly found, however, that most of the bodies obtained this way had decomposed far too much for any effective science to be done with the remains.

So he came to the very sane and logical conclusion that he had to start killing people to keep getting more necrotic material.

It was not a common occurrence for him to kill. He only did it when he'd completely exhausted his supply of dead human tissue, which tended to happen every couple of months. So, he isn't like. constantly murdering people. (obviously that doesn't make it better, but for context lol)

He was always very methodical about killing. It was never an emotional thing, he wasn't angry and it didn't give him a particular rush or joy or anything like that. It was an extremely calculated process by which he selected a 'candidate' and cased them for a few weeks, usually three or less before actually killing them. Viable 'candidates' were generally hikers (often out in areas secluded enough for him to get away with it undetected) and other people foolish enough to explore the woods near his house.

So yea, science/math smart and… well .. smart about murder too ig

We have some more Multiverse shenanigans! I wanted to write out all that I had on Thei and Puppette right now because they're my loves, and they deserve the world.

I've never (that I remember) drawn a skeleton like I did Thei, so I had fun there. They're a sultry lil wibblewobble, in my head.

I don't know how legible the writing is, to be honest, so I'm gonna write out the bits I can think of, in case anyone actually cares lol

Puppette:

I'm less sure of Puppette's story than I am Thei's, so bare with me in case of messups haha

Thei is like OG Error in only really one way: memory issues

Puppette's memory issues got to a point where he could no longer handle his job as the destroyer after a fun full-body takeover by XGaster, who controlled him and abused his abilities (this is obviously very vague but I haven't actually thought that much through here tbh)

Thei was actually with the Star Sanses (in this case just Dream and Swap) when they were rescuing Cross and Puppette, and this is not how they met, but how they became closer.

Puppette has deep scarring on the ecto of his left leg (on his bones as well, but it's completely mishappen his leg's ecto) from where XGaster tried to rip him apart in an attempt to keep him after completely losing Cross.

Puppette doesn't remember XGaster at all, or how he met Cross. Cross is one of his closest friends, but Cross is also not around often as he's enjoying his freedom AU-hopping, so Pupp tends to forget about him (non maliciously of course).

When Pupp did remember, it was an Incident, and all Thei had to say when asked if XGaster was still a threat is "No. No, he can't touch you, not anymore." Thei didn't really say much after then, and Puppette had a good impression to not ask.

He was forced to retire by Dream and Nightmare when they realized his memory was too bad to even remember what his job WAS half the time, especially with the knowledge that sometimes all he'd remember was what XGaster had made him do, which almost led to bad times all round.

They drug his ass in a Brawl of the Ages™ because he really didn't want to, he felt his role was too important (and it was, but with Ink not existing yet there wasn't really anything opposing him, and what did need to be done could be handled by a couple weaker beings working together).

He spends his days doing typical Retirement things: sleeping, hobbies, watching novellas, bugging his partner who loves it dearly :3

About Pupp:

Pupp's personality is mostly created by an AI that I made while experimenting, I write as Thei and the AI is Puppette. Thus, he's not very Error Sans-y, but I love him still. Though, this has me wondering if he could be a Swap or Swapfell/Fellswap version, mayhaps. He's a goober, and he loves to tease people he's close to. He's still haphephobic, but with his close friends (which are all the few friends he has, for him it's close friend or not a friend at all) like Dream, Swap, Nightmare (most of the time), Thei of course, etc, he's mostly fine. Anyone else and the glitches will get him. Ink, when he comes around, is new, so Pupp is getting there, but luckily (?) ink is not a touchy kid so all is well there.

The glitches are less of a worry here, as he's fairly stable. The entire multi verse itself is more stable, really, and he benefits there.

Pupp is the type of person to hug someone from behind as a "prank", he's a harmless guy. His "Destroyer" job was less actual destroying and more like putting broken, unusable, and dead worlds to their ends so they're not affecting the balance. He's very proud of his work, and very careful in it, up until his retirement.

Pupp is not allowed in the kitchen, as bad memory+cooking isn't a good mix. Thei has him banned to the Pupp Stool until they're done cooking because if not, he will spend the entire time wrapped around them from behind. As much as they don't mind it, they do need use of their extremities.

Pupp is a lover of crochet, as well as Drama shows, language be damned. He has an innate ability to understand languages almost perfectly, though speaking them, not so much.

I look at him and just say "gooberman, my goobies, goobs, goober," often :)

Thei:

Thei, Thei is a guy I have hugged tight to my chest right now. They deserve so much.

TW: talk of SA, Abuse, and Mental Health Issues

Thei is a Lust Sans, and is from an AU where Lust Monsters need Intimacy to survive. Think of OG Lust on steroids. Without regular intimacy, Thei's magic will become so weak that they can't survive. Signs that they need intimacy start with irritability, tiredness, magic not working as they wish, and eventually gets to a point where they aren't in their right mind and will only act to survive.

Thei's AU is destroyed early on in the multiverse's existence and they take a spot on the Star Sanses, mainly as the voice for them; theyre very good at communicating with people because their magic relies so much on it, so they act sort of like the PR, making sure people know the Star Sanses are here to help and how to get that help. The Stars don't really have an enemy here, so theyre mainly a patrol group, who's main goal is making sure everyone has what they need as well as checking on AUs that may Fall or need to be Destroyed.

Thei's reliance on others in personal, intimate ways very obviously gives way to abuse of that reliance. To make matters worse, Thei's magic will respond to the person they're with before they do: they have the ability to change their appearance on will, but it will also activate when the person they're with desires it a lot, even if they don't, because their magic sees it as necessary to survive. This started because of how much they "starved" before, how many times they almost died.

Because of their need for intimacy, they have to go AU hopping for days up to months at a time to get what they need, so to say. Again, they hate this. They're an introverted person, despite their communicative abilities, and they like their alone time. This gets even harder when Thei becomes an integral part of Puppette's life and they move in together. Puppette's memory issues prove a problem because there will be times when Thei is gone long enough for Pupp's memory to fade, no matter what they've tried. When Thei comes back, he won't remember them, but will know the feelings associated with the memories. That love is still there. Thei is patient enough to stay on Pupp's track, even when that track jumps around a lot, and part for that is the guilt they feel at leaving him so regularly bc of their magic.

They've "started" dating many, many times, and been engaged many, many times, because Pupp won't remember it. As one can imagine, this is hard on Thei, but Thei adores Pupp and can't see life without him.

Thei works with Stretch (who works in the Omega Timeline Lab) and Swap (who's a well oiled engineer, despite not working as one) to try and figure out cures for both Pupp's memory and Thei's "curse", as they call it. But there really is no cures.

When Thei gets too low, they'll go to, or Pupp will get them to, Dream and Swap, who together can help boost Thei's magic, but it's not a long-lasting solution.

What they eventually make, after a very, very close call when Pupp is struggling to remember them and almost doesn't get them to Swap and Dream in time, Is devices inspired by the continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pumps used by diabetics. One tracks their magic levels, and the other is a pump that will inject them with magic when needed. This way they don't have to rely on people, and they can stay with Puppette, which helps with his memory. This entire endeavour is a fairly new scenario I'm still playing out, but as I'm sure is obvious, having this sudden freedom and ability to stay by their love's side is very daunting. They're learning to be free now.

About Thei:

Thei is softspoken and quiet, but the type to get loud around friends.

Thei is a painter, and teaches Ink about art as he grows. Thei loves scenes, and Ink makes them a Scenery Art Book for their birthday one year and they fall to the ground.

Thei's life between "AU Collapse" and "Thei with the Star Sanses" is very vague and unfocused, aside from a clear understanding that it wasn't good. I know that Thei was rescued at one point but Nightmare and his crew, and Thei lived with them for a while, considering them like family, but eventually had to leave. Another "perk" of their magic is that they have a connection to people's emotions, kind of like Dream and Nightmare. They can feel that someone is upset, but not how or why, basically. They can also push their emotions onto others when their magic is strong. This was an ability gained as a defense mechanism after being taken advantage of. Knowing someone's emotions and being able to affect them when in serious intimate situations is very helpful.

I'm gonna stop typing because this has gotten Long™ but while this is mostly for myself, I hope there's someone out here who enjoys my little Goobs. I love them dearly.

I always wonder, with all the allegories Kenjaku has going on surrounding birth, pregnancy and fetuses, does this favoritism towards Yuuji also come from the fact that they gave birth to him? Unconciously, idk. There's multiple factors including his own selfish agenda, or the fact that after 9 children Yuuji is the only one Kenjaku found not a failure etc., but carrying a child, giving birth and possibly breastfeeding might've had an effect on them.

Anwyays: I find it extremely interesting that Kenjaku didn't intend for Yuuji to stay as a vessel. Clearly Yuuji having a body strong enough to host Sukuna was the overall idea, but they really make it sound like they were really letting Jin Itadori pipe them just for the hell of it just to see what would come out of that lol. Cause really, beyond hosting/repressing Sukuna (which Yuuji has semi succesfuly done until... uh... now...), Kenjaku already said they don't have a specific role for Yuuji to play and want to see whatever he does next.

Also R.I.P Itadori Jin, Choso would have imprited on him like a baby duck.

I'm not entirely sure Sukuna will seriously try to kill Yuuji. He generally prefers to toy with and torture him, and watching Megumi be possessed while being powerless to do anything about it is way more cruel than killing him. Yuuji wants to die anyway. But speaking of, Kenjaku has to become a bit more careful with Yuuji. In the past they could count on Sukuna reviving him or someone else like Yuuta stepping in and healing him, but now that will become more difficult. Not saying they will pamper him in any sense of the word or jump in front of the gun so to say...just maybe keep a closer eye on him? But I think they're gonna do that anyway for multiple reasons.

Yes, I think having given birth to him and him being their biological child has some influence on them. They also call themselves Choso's parent and there still seems to be some Noritoshi DNA swimming around in them (which gives them immunity against the Death Painting poison), but they don't call the Death Paintings their children or acknowledge any kind of close personal relationship because well...there isn't one. They didn't birth them or father them, they simply arranged for the abuse of the Mother and then added Noritoshi's blood. Much more hands-off than Yuuji's case. No playing house and teasing the father-in-law. And then there's the failure on top of it. When Choso isn't screaming in their ear, they generally don't seem to think much about that experiment, just "that happened, that sucked, anyway-". They make jokes about it instead of seeming upset.

So in that sense Yuuji is their only living child and he's getting the favourite treatment (not always a good thing with Kenjaku). I also think they would have fucked Jin either way. Maybe they wouldn't have necessarily had a child with him, but he's their type: guy with colourful hair, more slender than muscled body and pretty face. counting Mahito and Kashimo too here because I'm biased They were having a little fun at work you could say. Given their domain, I also don't think this was their first pregnancy. They've been alive for over a millennium, contraception wasn't always that good and they clearly are attracted to men. Things happen. And who knows how many times they practised for this experiment. I don't think even they could make Sukuna's perfect restricting vessel or whatever else Yuuji is supposed to be on first try. All these kids would of course be long dead and I think they were always more of an absent parent/mother anyway. Whatever happened to those children could also influence how they feel about Yuuji now. But we will probably find out more about it when they meet him again and/or we get to why they picked Kaori and Jin specifically (if they picked Jin at all and didn't just do it with him because he was available and desperate for a baby).

Another thought, in Shibuya they also said "things born from me can't exceed my own potential" with a kind of faint expression. The English translation uses "create", but in Japanese it's 生まれる which straight up just means "to be born". There are a lot of pregnancy allegories in their speeches, they don't always get translated though, like in ch 202 when they say the cursed spirit will be pregnant/swollen with the cursed energy of a hundred million people.

I think this could for one, refer to past experiments that involved them giving birth, which clearly didn't go very well or it's what they might ideally hope for Yuuji to achieve. Although judging by their expression there's not a lot of hope. This phrase of course also includes the Death Paintings, but since they don't act this depressed whenever else they are brought up, I don't think that's the full picture. In that case, they didn't birth anything anyway, which might have been the point. They thought things would go better with minimal involvement from their side, but that didn't help either. But maybe Yuuji will manage to surprise them and prove them wrong.

I'd like to know your head canons on JBM, plus, how would Marvin react when they figure out that homophobia/transphobia exists?

Starting off with Marv, they'd mostly be like "???????? H u h??" In response to that because it just doesn't sound real to them tbh. Like "it's literally none of their business why are they so mad??".

NOW FOR JBM HCS.

- Jackie's HOH/Partially deaf, and uses hearing aids, he developed hearing problems in his childhood (around age 10) and uses BSL (my newest version of JBM is British-Irish)

- Jackie is the youngest out of all the egos so to everyone (except Marvin) he's seen as the younger brother/son figure

- Jackie's powers are a direct result of IRIS experimenting with Anti-Matter. He doesn't know this but he was specifically chosen to one day be the person to put an end to Anti's reign, but the experimentation didn't go as planned and Jackie was essentially cast aside (some IRIS workers were genuinely considering killing him so their work isn't revealed to the public).

-Carrying on from the last note; Jackie's powers can look extremely similar to Anti's because of the fact that he was created with stopping Anti in mind- meaning he has things like teleportation(however it's only in short bursts, think Hunter from The Owl House), an unnatural endurance, super strength and a level of control over electrical fields. One of the side effects is that his powers can occasionally become unstable if not regulated properly.

- Another side effect is the fact that he can't exactly die? Since his powers directly correlate with Anti (yk the guy that's literally in a "dead" body 24/7) his "healing abilities" arent the fact that he's healing it's that his body naturally works on injuries faster- meaning it would take something that would kill him instantaneously for it to actually work- otherwise he will eventually come back from it (also the healing doesn't mean he can't get scars anymore, he still gets scars from any injury he attains) and yes he does still feel pain

- Ever since he completely cut ties with IRIS, he out right refuses to use his powers as much as he is physically able too, sometimes he's unable too due to the fact that they are tied to his well-being and can come out during outbursts or moments involving high levels of stress, anger etc.

- his eyes used to be grey before everything happened, now they're extremely bright blue- he doesn't exactly hate it but it still catches him off guard to see them sometimes

- Most of his "hero" work isn't technically the stereotypical stuff a hero would normally do- but it's still very important that he does. He very often goes to protests and volunteers at places wherever he can. He doesn't consider this hero work either, just stuff he wants to do to help out where he can

- The man is an extrovert to his core, he literally will be making friends literally anywhere and half the time the rest of the egos are just like- "what the fuck???" Because none of them are extroverts.

- I think Jackie took a lot longer than Marvin to fall for them than they did. Mostly because mans got horrid issues regarding to letting people seeing him be vulnerable, and it's only when Marvin makes it extremely clear that they're safe to be around that he ends up slowly falling for them. He also admires how they don't particularly care about anyone else's opinions and values taking care of themselves over conforming into what any society says you should be.

A Hero's Stand

I'm in a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure mood and feeling like being a little sadistic with two maybe three Links. Mainly it revolves around the concept of Stands.

Quick rundown for any out of the fandom or need a refresher. Stands are a manifestation of a living being's fight spirit. Each Stand having a unique appearance and abilities, some stemming from their respective user. They can look just about anything from humanoids, beasts, to even everyday objects! (Literally can't trust anything in the JJBAverse, not even your toaster.)

Now, some think or theorize that some Stands could be spirits of the dead. One particular theory revolving a very popular Stand which will show for one Link in particular. Now why do I mention this?

Three flavors of our Hylian Hero NOT resting in peace after they kick the bucket! Victims today are Warriors, Time and First! Let's start with the dear Captain.

We all know Wars can't take care of himself so I think it's about time his luck ran out. The final battle in the war had one more casualty amongst the Hylian forces. Warriors falls dead once the battle is won, succumbing to his injuries and exhaustion.

It should've been it for this Link. The Hero's Spirit no doubt ready to reincarnate but in truth, it wasn't time for Wars to retire yet. With so many incarnations and eldritch horrors every one had to face...a hiccup is bound to happen.

Wars is a mix of that. He can speak normally however his Stand cry tends to slip in. This cry being the infamous 'Hyah'! (Absolutely despises when it happens too.)

Ex: Hyah(we) can't let them escape!

Overall, the two get used to their new coexistence pretty well. Everything is fine and dandy until a certain Stand's past decides to come back. Nor a reunion Wars wasn't expecting once his partner stumbles upon the Chain.

Appearance wise, Wars is gonna be a humanoid Stand albeit with some inhuman traits. And for those fans asking, his ass ain't gonna be flat lol. (I swear you guys immediately go bonkers with character design.)

Next Link on the chopping block is dear old Time specifically from Twilight's timeline. The Hero's Shade was a being full of lingering regrets but it wasn't the entire hero. In death, his spirit was split into two pieces. One full of his regrets and the other seeking something. A purpose? A chance?

Whatever it is, a similar entity felt the same way as they come together into something new. The Hero of Time would soon awaken into his new Stand life. Now remember when I mentioned a very popular Stand. Well, what merged with that missing half is Star Platinum specifically the OVA design from Stardust Crusaders.

Star and Time share one special thing in particular: the power to affect time. The former can stop it while the latter can rewind/fast-forward. I have a reason why I'm including Star Platinum but it might be delving into spoiler territory for people watching JJBA Stone Ocean. Just know regret comes in different flavors.

His Stand name? Starfall cause that what's Time is in a sense. A fallen star who became lost and forgotten by everyone. His relationship with his user was quite shaky at the beginning. Legend of Zelda isn't a game you should play around him without asking as it's still a trigger even if his partner told the former Hylian about the multiverse theory.

Time is also a humanoid Stand in appearance but bears a combination of traits from Fierce Deity and OVA Star Platinum. He can speak but his Stand Cry gets mixed in quite often. Time's cry is Ora and the classic Hyah. Yep! He practically goes Oraoraora then ends it with a Hyah for any flurry of attacks (Stand Rush for JJBA fans).

Now the Chain involved in this side of the story are traveling without a Time in their group. Warriors and Wind still wonder if the kid, Mask, they fought with alongside the War of Eras would join them. The biggest hit is that Wars was given the Fierce Deity Mask before our dear Fairy Boy left.

A reunion Time wishes would be different as we know his two old companions aren't gonna take his death well. Twilight is suffering too since he thought the Hero's Shade had peacefully gone to the afterlife once his wish was complete. What's keeping Time or Starfall still here?

In short, a big angsty hurt/comfort buffet with poor Reader at the center. They have a lot to do cause clearly everyone needs hugs right now.

And finally we have the Link that started this all, First. His Stand manifestation is what remains of his spirit that Hylia didn't include in her gift. Wrath, sadness, fear, grief, rebellion, etc. Pieces that can't rest without their missing half. He's closer to a wraith more than anything.

First does remember his past but his view on the matter are more skewed since he's incomplete. Reader's emotions do fill in the holes once their bond is strong enough. First will become quite mellow before he meets the Chain but he's one spicy pepper at the start of his new existence.

Adjusting to his current living arrangements was the least difficult amongst the three. First doesn't really care much for the Legend of Zelda series but his manga will piss him off. A painful reminder that his own goddess shattered the man despite all he did.

His Stand Name is Righteous Vendetta. Something that still suits him even when he's calmer as amongst the Links turned Stands, First is absolutely vicious in his assault. Like a phantom, the man's appearance is torn and tattered but retains enough traits to be considered a humanoid Stand than an undead or spirit type.

First can speak normally with his Stand Cry rarely slipping in unless he's embarrassed or scared. His Stand cry is Muda and Hyah! Like with Time, First ends his vocal Stand Rush with Hyah.

When the Link made Stand and his new user come across the Chain, he's more angry than sad. Understandable if the missing pieces of your spirit stand before you. It's gonna take a long white before any Link can address him as First and not his Stand name.

Reader ends up being the peacekeeper/impulse control since their partner is more likely to punch somebody than stay calm. Overall, a fairly awkward affair with some potential friendly fire as the Chain try to handle this particular Link.

i haven't seen anyone saying it yet so i'm gonna take a leap of faith and be the first – i think murray and joyce's roles regarding the doll sent to joyce should have been reversed.

not even going into how.... cheap the russian doll thing feels because that's a whole other issue, but it bothers me so much that joyce is the one who so easily believes he's alive because it MAKES NO SENSE. yeah, i get that the whole "i never gave up; i always knew you were out there!" thing makes for some good(ish) romance, but it just.. doesn't work here. joyce literally saw hopper die. yeah, she didn't see the body, etc etc, and i guess you could say that she uses her experiences with will's fake body to say that he was never dead, but even then isn't it all strange? joyce, who lost her last romantic interest so gruesomely and who – regardless of whether there was a body or not – watched as hopper got beamed into a portal to hell? i understand wanting to make her seem like a girlboss who knows everything or something, but i would have actually preferred if murray had been the one to discover hopper was alive (particularly not through the russian doll).

think about it. murray, the well-established conspiracy theorist, the guy who everyone thinks is a little odd and who can speak fluent russian and is seen to have some decent knowledge on russia itself. you're telling me that he was the one who didn't believe hopper was still out there at first?? makes. no. sense.

i would have much preferred a more hesitant, tentative joyce, one who doesn't want to get her hopes up because she's had so much loss and she couldn't handle if it wasn't true and hopper was really gone. joyce, who knows she was so incredibly lucky that will wasn't really gone before and she knows the odds of having it happen again with hop are low. joyce, who gets reassured by murray, who knows for sure hop is alive, who goes and fights the russians like a badass still. i also think that would have made their reunion a lot more impactful in a new way.

I will say concert etiquette is absolutely dead. It isn't just Harry Styles shows, people are actively showing up at people's concerts to pretend to sleep and play games to be recorded for a viral moment, there's been also a lot of people sexually harrasing artist screaming "mommy" and all that stuff, grabbing them without consent, etc. They're openly bullying people on stage, throwing them stuff and booing till they leave.

It's so disturbing, is it the repress energy from the pandemic? Is it younger kids that are adult now and never went to a concert before the pandemic? Is it how we have made everything a viral moment for tiktok? Is it the objectification of celebrities for easier consumption? Unsure but it is an awful trend I'm seeing right now.

Absolutely terrified of Taylor's concerts rumoured for next year. Swifties better not start peeing themselves mid concert.

Ps: Harry Styles won't say anything he never says anything about anything.

YES omg i have so many thoughts on this and i think about it constantly. i think it's a deadly combination of all the things you mentioned.

the pandemic really fucked up concerts. i think people either forgot how to act at shows or they were at the age when they started to go to shows on their own right around when the pandemic hit, so they had no experience and ended up only learning about concert etiquette through tik tok, which is a bad place to learn any sort of information.

people think just because they aren't a straight man they can yell sexually aimed phrases at women on stage. and even recently i saw a video of someone flashing a group of men on stage and people were fine with it?? like we dont do that anymore that's literally harassment and if a guy whipped out his dick he'd be called out for it, as he should be.

people are throwing things on stage constantly, even when the artists ask them to not, which is also because of tik tok videos of fans being like 'they grabbed my hat!!' and that actually might go back to harry too. there were so many videos of that. as well as fan inappropriate signs being made.

tik tok can also be blamed for the insane uptick in people camping out. they see that trend of people being like 'how long i camped outside vs the spot i got' and see people casually saying they spent 10+ outside and then getting rewarded with barricade. they are wanting to copy that and more and more people are putting themselves and others in danger in order to get closer to the artist they have a deadly parasocial relationship with. they wait outside for 10+ hours, deprive their bodies of food and water, and then they get the spot they wanted but end up fainting and ruining the show for everyone. thats why there's also been a rise in artists having to stop shows.

this can also go with the entitlement at shows. they camped out for so long that they feel a sense of ownership over their spot. if anyone dares to get them out of it they act so enraged and entitled to it that they start fights or refuse to move.

it all comes down to people wanting to be noticed so badly they are willing to make the artists they say they love really uncomfortable. they want that viral video, main character moment.

WARNING: LONG POST, using Tumblr as a diary, mentions of HRT, dysphoria, suicidal thoughts, dead dove etc

I can't believe that I've already been on T for 8 months! For context, I take 2 pumps of T gel daily, and it's been going really well according to my blood tests.

Looking back, it's like I was barely even a person before. I didn't recognize myself in the mirror, couldn't speak out loud to anyone without feeling insecure, etc etc. I didn't go anywhere or do anything, barely even spoke to my friends, just had no motivation to exist at all. I feel like I spent years of my life walking around in a haze, analysing every single facet of my appearance and personality and voice and hobbies,, and now I just don't? I treat myself better, I eat better, sleep better, I even process my emotions better.

For me, taking Testosterone hasn't really been about gender euphoria (even though there have definitely been some big moments here and there), but instead about a lack of dysphoria. I feel so comfortable in myself and the way I am seen. There are of course still things that bother me and things I hope to change in the future (looking at you, big naturals!), but the level of confidence and self assurance has been literally life-changing. I don't even think about if a guy would do this or if I sound girly or whatever, I'm just some dude living his life and nobody can say or do anything to change that. I feel normal.

I'm very lucky in that I got a lot of the easily noticeable physical changes quite early, it only took a week for my voice to start lowering, and I got the beginnings of a wispy stasche within a month or so. It hasn't grown much since, but what I have is visible enough that other people take notice and treat me accordingly. Other changes like body hair have been good, though they won't be getting shown off any time soon. Though it's too late for me to get any taller, my other transition goals are being met very well and I have no regrets.

For me, the payoff of starting T was instant! I haven't been misgendered by a stranger in public in about half a year now, not even by confused elderly people, and even medical professionals have been taking me seriously and using the right name and pronouns. It's also nice to not be mistaken for a 12yo Most of the time, though my height doesn't help with that.

And the mental changes too! While the external validation from strangers is good, really good, the way I think about myself is SO much more important. It's like a switch was flipped from the moment I took that first dose. Even when I do experience dysphoria, it's like it can't reach me the same way it could before- it throws me off guard for a second, then I move on. No more agonising over interactions or fearing what people might say or do. Instead of weeks or months spent paralysed by my own negative thoughts, it's a minute or two before I talk myself up again and start feeling better. And when something does bother me, I'm reminded that most guys feel insecure about their facial hair or their height sometimes, and it suddenly feels less like me being an outsider and more like participating in the aspects of puberty I missed out on the first time. It almost feels good to get insecure, like "I'm thinking about normal manly things!" Performative masculinity aside, the amount of free time I have now I'm far less preoccupied with myself is astounding.

A Disclaimer: I know that HRT isn't necessary for being trans, and that many people can't take it for many reasons, and that some don't even want to. I am not invalidating those people's experiences, but for me personally I can say without a doubt that it has been the best and most important step in my transitioning. No amount of positive thinking or talk therapy or external validation from friends and loved ones or Tumblr posts calling me 'valid' made me feel any better about myself deep down. Honestly, I didn't expect T to do that either- but it has. I don't want to discourage those who aren't in a position to take HRT by saying this, everyone is different and transition goals are different for everyone, this is just my own personal experience. I was severely actively suicidal as a teen before starting HRT, and it was only when I gained the financial means to begin the process that this started to improve. I couldn't see a future for myself as anything other than a man, and I couldn't see myself ever growing into a body or life I could tolerate without medical intervention. Actually beginning hormone therapy was the turning point when I stopped enduring life and started actually living it.

I can't help but feel a little bitter that I never got to have this growing up, but I'm still so grateful that I get to have it now. Even so, I wish I could grab that lil guy and just shake him and shout "IT WILL GET BETTER! I PROMISE!", Because even a year ago I could hardly see myself tolerating who I was, let alone being genuinely comfortable and happy with where I am at this point in my life. But I am. I can confidently say that I haven't been this happy since I was 6. I struggled so much as a teen and before that I had incredibly low self esteem as a kid. After coming to terms with my identity I knew why, but it never really went away. Socially transitioning was a great step for me, but HRT has been something so private and intimate. It's like finally getting that one toy that everyone else had as a kid years later, and realising that it's just as cool as you pictured it.

While I'll always mourn those years I lost to my own confused self hatred, now I get to meet myself all over again, and the more I reveal of myself, the more I like the man hidden underneath.

So I'm working on a story about a paradox queen who's a God and her living island that travels world's and dimensions

The details are all very rough draft so bare with me and if you have questions I'll be happy to answer them hell it might even help me work on some details

Queen Oracion stands out to most gods who commonly just look over a planet or a solar system etc some gods come to be knowing their destiny like war gods but like her she came to be and had to learn from her mistakes and forge her own path

Okay so I thought of a big threat to my story

There's this curse right? It's extremely ancient they're called Death's wishes

No one knows where it came from usually if you ask someone about they say something like "The big bang might as well have written it"

The easiest way to make these things is to use let's say a prey animal putting extremely close to death then bringing it back basically you keep dipping it's soul in the river Styx over and over

And it becomes this rotting ghost like zombie like creature that if it cuts you and a part of it's bones splinter into your skin it spreads like a virus

Theres only one cure but the only way you can survive it till then is your will to live cause you'll be sitting there with your nerves on fire and your flesh rotting while your still alive your will helps prevent much damage from happening to your body

Depending on the character let's say if it's someone who doesn't want to live anymore they will either rot away in a matter of hours or turn into one of them

I can't think of a name for these parasite wolf creatures yet

If left unchecked they can kill EVERYTHING on a planet even plants and when nothing's left they basically make what my guy Duval is

who can absorb lives and use them to their advantage like those souls taken can help him heal from even his head getting cut off ya know?and if you don't get guys like him in check and kill him (which is extremely difficult if they get strong enough and let's say take billions of lives) he turns into not a hell beast but if a beast was hell

This form is much more horrifying in the naked eye

Those no way to really wipe these beast from exitance because they're basically death itself but our queen is going to try especially since she's forged the only known cure

Let's call them wolfsbane? I haven't decided on a name I'm happy with

Theyre attracted to weak/weak willed beings so those wolves start as lamb like beasts when sensing one nearby and the deaths wish will get an interest then like go after it and do something like attack it and break it's spine and through their steel wool like fur it can absorb the curse turning into those parasite like beasts they're covered in these procupine like quills all over them and more thick spines on their tails used for doing stuff like shooting them off and pinning them down by their flesh with great accuracy the curse doesn't work on them or beings who are let's say part skeleton (they're partially dead they can still harm them but not spread the curse)

Their colors are commonly pure black cause the spines are black and it helps when hunting more uncommonly they're spotted white and black dark brown or white and grey with markings resembling the moon

Their heads are usually extremely hard untill they have to cure u when the enemy isn't nearby their heads soften into these vortex like mouths and they slowly extract it into needles coming out of your flesh

Basically getting a reverse shot and depending on what you went through like if u didn't struggle too much before the cure you can experience some common symptoms like you wake up starving or thirsty you may feel like you lost a good bit of blood and have some extreme fatigue

If youve struggled and in time had even thoughts like you wanted to give up and die you can suffer symptoms such as a concerning amount of loss in muscle and fat rotted teeth and brittle bones

I've thought about maybe eventually starting this with an intro to her island in posts and giving paths to choose in the story

Cause a plot like this there's tons of unique story potential and people can go in my inbox and I may even insert some OC's from other bloggers if they want idk like I said lots of my ideas are in rough drafts and I'm nervous about posting this I've only told close friends most details I have about it

It works very much like illusions. Ranbob can see him but can't touch him. While Dream can touch him (though it feel like more of a faint touch). The entire time Ranbob feels like he's dreaming but due to physical evidence, like notes left by Dream, he knows it isn't a dream. He's just kinda existing. But in actuality he's not completely "there", sometimes he is aware of what's going on (though he never remembers more often than not) but that's when Dream allows it, other than that he's either floating aimlessly in the void or dreaming. Not aware of what's happening. 

Definitely, Enderman tend to be 7 ft+. Infact when traveling and Enderman spot Ranbob, they always voice their worry about him being so short. They know he's a hybrid so he was always going to be shorter than them, but he shouldn't have been this short. His growth is permanently stunted. Its a miracle he even got those 2 inches to be honest. Ran was definitely caught off guard seeing Ranbob so short. But quickly dismissed it in favor of attacking him. But later on as time passes, he can't dismiss the unease and concern he gets when he thinks about the difference so easily as he did eailer. The Gladiators notice right away but don't comment on it, the Fishermen think Ranbobs height is normal so when they meet Ran and learn Enderman hybrids typically grow that big and bigger their caught off guard, Cletus and Charles attempt to question Ran what its like to be so tall but Benjamin stops them. 

He did, the Dream Mask has a small bit of it broken off due to it being dropped (Ranbob didn't break it. He suspects maybe when it was being transferred it got dropped in its holding box and thats what broke it). Ranbob picked it up because he meant to throw it away, but he forgot too. Giving Dream more time to get a hold on him. They talked about whatever came to mind at first since Benjamin didn't want to start off with the rough questions. But eventually the two did start to talk about what happened to Ranbob and who/what Dream was.

Dream does not consider it important enough because he thinks he's never going back there. So it falls into disrepair and gets all dusty with some mold even growing in the room. 

Dreams petty and likes being in control of everything. But Dream would just kinda wander, making sure no ones alive. Every now and again he'll get bored and just destroy something. The fishermen explored and read about the history of Mizu while they were there, then after Ranbob attacked them spent most of the time arguing about what to do with him. 

It just leads to Cletus being mean/rude to Ranbob and taking much longer than the others to be comfortable around him. If that's what you mean.

Yes! When it was down to just 4 people left alive in Mizu, Ran stumbled upon the 4th person dead, then it all kind of clicks in his head, as the only other person currently alive is a Council Member, that it has to be his brother. So he rushes off to find the Council Member so they can stop Ranbob, only to find Ranbob standing over his dead corpse. Thats when the chase around Mizu ticks off that ends with Ran fleeing Mizu. 

Cause while spiders are passive in daytime, creepers aren't, and don't burn in the light. Plus they are loud with their explodes (yet oddly quiet) which can give his position away.

Eh I'll say. Their not really super common because mixing them can cause serious side effects during and after mixture. But the healing, sleep aids, and infection mixtures are common as they've been figured out and can safely be made. Fun fact: Subbin actually has an entire community and an official place in the government for figuring out potion mixtures, making new ones, and making the mixing process as safe as possible. 

The group doesn't really use the mixtures much, expect for Rans sleep aid and a every now and again healing mixture when a Pit match goes wrong. Cause Grievous used to intern in a potion shop and learned all about them then.

He really did. 

Your right! Not many people traverse it. Because he was a Technoblade follower, and they typically get taught the bare basics of surviving in environments like the Nether, deserts, snow, caves, etc in their teachings. He got da book from his Idol teachers, everyone in his Idol group got a book as well.

There's gold coins (I forget the actual in-game name oop) ore deposits in the Nether, so he mines that. Not any specific ones, cause there is still a language barrier and a mostly gesture barrier (expect for the universal ones like wait, ok/good, no harm, etc). 

They made a group decision to try to check the Nether on a whim. Though mostly cause one guy just wouldn't shut up about it. They found a broken portal and managed to repair it enough to enter.

The Fishermen and Ranbob where kinda confused (cause Ran hadn't fully told them about his time on the run.) But expressed sympathy at his house being burned down. Jackie and Grievous wanted to search it for anything usable, Ran didn't let em cause he thinks there's nothing left. Watson shoots Ran a sympathetic look and declared that he wants to keep moving to find shelter. Benjamin quickly agreeing and the group moves on.

He does not expect in all of their times he's still the God of the world. 

Honestly, most of them were fine. Bad was the only one who was mad and wasn't ok with it. The Masquerade, The Pit, Sam, Sapnap, Quackity, Foolish, Ranboo, Skeppy, Tubbo, Tommy, and Karl all say the Egg wrote it because they all have had experience with the Egg. The Haunted Mansion, The Wild West, George, Fundy, Eret, Jack, Niki, and Puffy all say XD because they've either had no experience with the Egg or believe in XD's existence. Philza and Technoblade actually go both ways. (If I forgot someone, oops). 

Technoblade, Phil, Niki, The Pit, The Wild West, Puffy, Sapnap, and Sam are all on the Frontline. While the others are all split between research into the egg (The Masquerade is in this one of course), and running tests. Fundy is a runner, delivering orders, requests, or new information. Foolish is on both the researching, testing, and frontlines, he is on the frontlines when needed but otherwise is researching and testing. Karl is typically somewhere with one of the many Traveler groups. Quackity, Eret, and Sam (when not on frontlines) are on planning duties. 

The Egg is strong enough to propose a real and constant threat to the groups. Everyone is typically on the move to avoid the reaching of the Egg and its Eggpire. 

Bad hasn't gotten what he wants, which is Skeppy. And as he has "opened his eyes" a bit he sees the hypocrisy, manipulation, and lies that surround the Egg and wants out.

Ye ye Brothers AU sorry.

The fishermen get to their home, wake up the next day, and Ranbob is already making a field for wheat and potatoes. Benjamin fucking squawks and races out to make Ranbob stop. And Isaac eventually has to come out and help cause Ranbob is refusing to leave. Cletus laughs at Ranbob and makes fun of him but stops when he sees Charles sadly staring at him. A silent ask to stop. 

He does but Porkius is chill and let's the Gladiators do whatever they want as long as they are still in fighting condition for matches and gives them money every week. Plus he's chill and is kinda friends with them. But sometimes Porkius has them go to extravagant parties with him. They all hate going, not just Ran. Mostly cause the rich people are snobs and either 1. Constantly insult them in conversation than act surprised when they get mad at them and report it to Porkius. 2. Talk with them but talk exclusively about themselves and are insensitive to the Gladiators. But sometimes there's actually people at the parties who are genuinely curious and kind and want to get to know the Gladiators. Those conversations are pleasant and the Gladiators, no matter who it is, actively enjoy the conversation.

Ran has always been mischievous. Even witnessing murder, being traumatized, hunted constantly, and fighting non-stop hasn't changed that. If anything he got more mischievous over time. 

Something extra I wanted to share: 

-There is music in world and the player the Gladiators share get brought on the trip so they can play music the entire time. 

  -Ran and Grievous fight over who gets to pick music often.

    -Fun fact about why I did this: Every single part of this story and all others has been either created by or inspired by music. For example the Tip of The Iceberg AU was solely inspired by the song True North (by Vocal Line), while Brothers AU was made from Ruler of Everything (by Tally Hall) and partly Mind Electric (by Miracle Musical). So I wanted to include music somehow. (I actually have a entire playlist with music that I've used for certain parts of the Brothers AU.)

Interesting, interesting. What triggers these 'dreams'? Can Dream do it, or is it like just something that happens?

I'm assuming only the brothers would know what the Endermen are saying, but there's also body language, so how does everyone react to that behavior? Do one of the brothers ever tell them what's being said, or? What's everyone's thoughts on Ranbob's height, seeing as the Fishermen were surprised, and the Gladiators immediately noticed?

How does Benjamin feel about what he hears? Is he a bit skeptical at first, or fully believing Ranbob's words?

So the room's in disrepair, interesting. At some point, it's mentioned that they go back there, I think, so does that strike anyone as odd?

He destroyed stuff? Like just general items or artifacts? How did Ranbob feel, if/when he was aware?
