What kind of characters do the others play in Marvins campaign? :3
Thinking about their first campaign where all of them besides Marvin are newbies to D&D...
Jackie - Definitely an Elven Paladin. Something he relates to personally while still be excited by the fantasy elements!
He's faced with the fact that no matter how well intentioned you may be, sometimes you just can't fix something.
Chase - Dwarven Fighter. He definitely went into this campaign thinking he could solely seduce sexy elves and drink, and didn't realise he's So Much More than what people assume he is.
Henrik - Aasimar Cleric. He was content with being on the sidelines as support while the others obtain all of the glory. His life is worth more than what he can give others.
Jameson - He totally gives me Orc Barbarian vibes, putting a little thought into juxtaposing himself and taking a fantasy twist on his past as a champion boxer. He is taught that someone born in anger doesn't have to be defined by it, no matter how painful their beginning was.
Marvin - he's the Forever DM, but he's got a Changeling wistfully waiting!
Never mentioned this before but just so everyone here knows Gwendolyn Bouchard is a Black Woman in my mind. No amount of fan art saying otherwise will change my mind. Something about being dismissed and that not having any effect on her will to continue. Unseen in the “because I have gotten things before” crowd. Very present in the “I have had a harder time getting everything and I’m sick of letting people do that” crowd. Being the one doing your job even when no one else is really working? Because they won’t get in trouble but you will. Or being told what to do and then Doing That Because That’s What The Boss Said To Do but I think that’s more Autism. Either way. She matches the accessories in her hair to her glasses when she can
