謙遜進取，吉祥如意

以下為兩位有緣人分享，來文照登：

分享一

這個月起了退轉心，不是對修行社團的退轉心，是當國小導師的退轉心。在暑假選擇要考英語科任還是級任導師時，我認為當導師可以陪伴學生的時間更多，能給予更多的正面引導，所以躍躍欲試。可是我沒有教國小國語數學的經驗，而是有兒童美語的專長，所以錄取英語科任，但學校看我特質覺得可以挑戰英語加導師，所以就這樣定了。

但是我開學第一天就出車禍腰椎骨裂了，預計要休養到10月底，且我對當國小導師這件事，起了很大的退轉心。車禍只是一個事件，在車禍前我對學校就有很多不滿，因為該校的行政效能和風格讓我超級傻眼。這是國中和國小的差別嗎？後來我才知道，這學校有一半的教職員是今年或去年才來的新人(包括校長)，行政主管也都多是新手。所以，車禍前我常常生氣，車禍後我常常嘆氣。

這個月躺在床上，我常常思考自己何以致此？佛菩薩開示車禍是自己不小心所致，但我相信天下事沒有意外和偶然，此番遭遇定有背後深意。思考幾層可能，第一方面是上天讓我有機會調養舊傷，若能調養良好，就可以因禍得福，身體機能大調整。第二方面這裡是陽世業主菩薩介紹我來的，相信多少有還債討報的成分，第三方面，遭遇挫折困境就是要用來檢視盲點，反省幾個盲點，第一、太急太用力，第二、做事用錯方法，第三、傲慢老毛病。

第一、太急太用力。我在開學前一周就把施工後亂七八糟的教室整理起來，這是資深老師一個暑假的成果，但我要求自己在一周完成，而且是高標準，所以開學前我就累翻了。第二、做事用錯方法，開學前的諸多準備事項我是跟教務處詢問，但是他們也是此校新手或脫離導師太久，給的指令建議常讓我加倍做工、疲於奔命於不重要的小事，後來才發現怎麼和其他資深導師的處理方式差那麼多。第三、傲慢老毛病，我自以為英語老師當導師是與眾不同，所以一開始沒有勤於和資深導師請教，心態有所怠慢，自以為英語好就高人一等。

反省我當導師的退轉心，對我而言，當老師是菩薩道的修鍊，當然級任導師和科任都是菩薩道，但導師的困難級數更高，要面對整班學生、家長、科任老師、行政單位，壓力和繁重真的是超乎我的想像。而且教學內容和流程我都不熟悉，真的很心虛，真的很想直接落跑。可是，佛菩薩開示，我可以繼續任職。而學校也沒有要解雇我的意思，我主持線上班親會後，也沒有聽到家長的反對聲浪。幾位代課老師也都非常的認真負責，班務也漸上軌道。一切的態勢就是等著我身體調養好，繼續回去帶班。所以，該調整的就是我的心態了。

昨日回診骨科醫生說我的骨裂復原良好，當然是要感謝佛菩薩的協助、阿伯的關照，勤於用中醫整復真的幫助超級大，當然還要持續復健、穩定骨架、調整體能。趁著休養期，也要來慢慢備課了。以上慚愧分享，感恩佛菩薩，感恩阿伯，感恩師兄姐。

分享二

前幾天工作上出了一個錯誤，在還沒求證的情況下，給了一個客人錯誤的建議。我是在事後問了一起工作的姐姐，才知道我告知錯了，原本我的內心很苦惱，對這件事耿耿於懷，因為客人沒有留下聯絡電話，我也不方便連繫對方告知比較正確的處理方式。

在反省過後，我便把這件事情給放下了。我注意到，我擔心的是，我在同事的面前，還是把事情處理得不夠好，發現我在為了這種小事苦惱時，心中覺得暗自好笑，這就是我相呀！

因為客人來詢問我們問題，我們如果告知錯誤，可能造成客戶的煩惱或麻煩，也有可能會背上因果。所以不得不謹慎、小心。如果我們可以正確的回答對方，可能可以解決對方的問題，所以在工作上的學習是很重要的。

另外，我在未求證的情況下，先憑印象告知客戶相關案例，但事後才發現不一定是我說的那樣，像我這麼心急的先回答客人，也有慢心的傾向，覺得應該是我說的那樣。不需要這樣子，凡事都應該要更謙虛地來學習精進才是。

《六祖壇經》自性五分法身香：「師曰：一、戒香：即自心中無非、無惡、無嫉妒、無貪瞋、無劫害，名戒香。二、定香：即覩諸善惡境相自心不亂，名定香。三、慧香：自心無礙，常以智慧觀照自性，不造諸惡，雖修眾善心不執著，敬上念下矜恤孤貧，名慧香。四、解脫香：即自心無所攀緣，不思善不思惡，自在無礙，名解脫香。五、解脫知見香：自心既無所攀緣善惡，不可沈空守寂；即須廣學多聞，識自本心達諸佛理，和光接物無我無人，直至菩提真性不易，名解脫知見香。善知識！此香各自內薰，莫向外覓。」

分享ㄧ的有緣人，看到工作環境的種種現象就起分別好惡，努力做事但著相執著，以「自性五分法身香」來說，這是「戒香」和「定香」考驗沒過，要再加強鍛鍊。可喜的是，有緣人在車禍後休養之中反省沉澱，檢視到自己的盲點，發現盲點才能突破改變，自我反省正是「慧香」的良好鍛鍊。

分享二的有緣人，工作上發現錯誤並自我反省後，便不再攀緣執著，這是「解脫香」的良好鍛鍊。她更進一步自我警醒到要更謙虛地精進學習才是，這是點出了「解脫知見香」的重要性，以謙卑的心態才能培養強大的能力。其實，不管是工作上，或待人處世上，皆是如此。淨空法師說：「學菩薩先學什麼？先學謙虛，謙卦六爻皆吉，趨吉避凶從這下手。中國古聖先賢教我們，從小學謙虛、謙讓。人謙虛恭敬才滿心的歡喜，滿面笑容。」

南懷瑾老師《花雨滿天維摩說法》：「『以敬事一切，起除慢法。』『敬事一切』的敬是名詞，是說我們的心理狀況和行為要隨時恭敬。恭敬不只是心理的，是對任何一件事認真去做，非常謹慎、慎重，謂之敬。要敬重自己，把自己當人看，但普通人不把自己當人看。譬如讀書，總想把學問搞好，可是一讀書就東想西想，不專一、不努力了，不打起精神，也不限定時間把問題研究清楚，這就是不敬事，就是不尊重自己。尊重自己之外還要敬重別人，與人相處不尊重人，就是不敬。至於敬法敬佛，真做到了嗎？幾時心中有佛？學佛的人心中隨時隨地有佛就是念佛，也不用你著相，隨時把佛法的精神擺在心中就是敬。

『敬事一切』的事是動詞，一切的作為行為叫做事。『一切』包括了善法、惡法、不善不惡法，世法、出世法。學大乘道的人要敬事一切，『起除慢法』，除掉了我慢，沒有我，也可以說，一切人、一切事都變成我，我應該替大家服務的。

大家學佛那麼久，我慢的心理可能還檢查不出來。連一個白癡都有我慢，但是知識低的人，我慢心還差一點，學識越高的人，我慢就越大，因為又加上了增上慢，自以為了不起，自己就算錯了，也還是對的。所以學菩薩道的人要先去慢心。慢不是驕傲，慢在內心你看不出來，人的慢心擋住了自己不能成道。我幾十年經驗看人，有的人對我尊崇得不得了，但是他自己有沒有真的學法？沒有，都在我慢中，總找一個理由解釋自己的我慢，因我慢引起不精進、心行錯誤。」（引用完畢）

《阿伯的話—現場開示精華節錄》：「每個人都有過去世的因果和習性，若無修行，會變成本世的習性負擔，故要修行，將心高氣傲及不良的習性修掉。」

「平時就要努力修行，若自身不好相處、心高氣傲，就更要修行；若不修行，會很難與人相處，且眾生無法親近你，所以先從利益眾生、持善佈施著手，圓融自性，進而渡眾。」

「心性不轉，換個地方換個工作也不一定會更好，是須先調整心性，這才是根本之道。」

工作上的挑戰人人都有，謙遜才能處處為吉。阿伯鼓勵有緣人：「人生處處是道場，世上何處非操場。融入自然自在，量寬自然無礙。」姿態放低、彎腰學習，自然就能與人為善。祝福大家謙遜進取，吉祥如意。南無本師釋迦牟尼佛！南無大慈大悲觀世音菩薩！

After watching 29 episodes but having accidentally spoiled myself about what comes next, it makes me emotional thinking about Ruyi's names.

She started as 壬辛, two characters used as part of an ancient numbering system, characters used for the counting of days and hours. 壬 has no meaning other than to signify the ordinal ninth. 辛 is the ordinal eighth, with the additional meaning of hard labor, suffering, bitterness. 壬辛 - no surname, not a name for a person, but for an instrument of death.

Then, when Ruyi earned the right to rename herself after becoming Left Emissary, she chose to add the radical 人 (meaning human) to 壬, to become 任 (an actual surname and also a character meaning to shoulder, to take responsibility for, a duty).

Left Emissary 任辛 - One who shoulders the responsibility of bitterness

Then, 任辛 burns and rises anew as 如意 Ruyi, two characters meaning to be gratified as one wishes. It was the blessing spoken by both the Empress and Ning Yuanzhou, the two people she most loves. And in her dream state in episode 26 as she meditates on the crossroads of her vengeance, she hears her Empress call her 如意 Ruyi for the first time.

任如意 - One who has the duty to be happy, as she wishes.

Clouds extend out from either side of Yazi and below him are flowers. The two sides of the lingpai have the carvings of cloud pillars wrapped in a stylized waterfall. At the bottom are clouds which could also be the foam from the waterfall. Lotuses float atop this foam/these clouds. At the center of the bottom is a mountain with a ruyi at its foot. This ruyi also has a flower within it.

4) The lineart for the three lingpai, with accompanying commentary. The one labeled "BiMaWen" reads "carved and burned wood," "simple, only horses and clouds," and "ornamental, basically no power." The one labeled "Beautiful Monkey King" reads "carved from a chunk of Sun Wukong's stone egg," "customized from Ao family royal lingpai template," and "mostly sea, cloud, and dragon pearl imagery." The one labeled "Great Sage Equaling Heaven" reads "carved from red jade," "fully custom, in style of an emperor's lingpai but HuaGuo," and "flowers, waterfalls, mountains, ruyi, Yazi, and clouds imagery." At the side are simple doodles of the three lingpai. The first is light brown with a yellow cord, captioned "simple cord, no tassel."
