Long answer:

Historically, it was Donnie. However, I haven't actually seen much of TMNT outside of Rise. I used to rent the first cartoon on VHS from the town video store when I was a tiny Ashe (yeah), but I don't remember much. I've seen the original live action movies a few times through the same avenue, and then I fell off turtle train. I liked Donnie because he was the purple one (fav color) and the smart, nerdy one (just like me fr).

With Rise though, I'd have to say that while Mikey comes out on top for me, I like the boys pretty equally. Mikey is just the one that grabbed me and shook me silly. I tend to like chaotic, warm-hearted, flippy characters, so he's right up my alley.

But the others? Donnie is still the one I relate to the most (considering we're both low empathy autistics) and who I see the most of myself in. I'm the oldest child in my family, so Raph always hits pretty close to home and I adore him. Leo though... Leo is my gayboy goofball. He reminds me so much of my fiancee, from the perpetual need to make a joke to the mannerisms to the way he talks. I have a soft spot for him because I see so much of her in him, but I also see the way that she loves him. There's something about seeing the person you love love a character.

They're all fun to write, but Leo's voice is the most interesting to me, right now. They all have rich inner lives, but, for the stories I'm writing now, Leo is the one who makes the most sense as narrator

Indeed, in a way, I think that's the reason why the specific plot point of "my dad used to wage war on Plegia because they worshipped the wrong lizard" sucked and couldn't be really tackled in FE13, that was basically a legacy game that didn't take itself seriously.

and so they ran away from church and went abroad. before going on board the plane, gojo called geto to tell him what happened and to help him deliver his apologies to his ex-fiancee. geto wasnt surprised and shoko was actually laughing when she talked to utahime. they actually got married and went back home a month later to face the consequences and to deliver a good news of utahime getting pregnant (gojo didnt want to waste time to seal the deal lol).

What are your thoughts on each of the GG MCs?

MC: I just...don't understand her lol maybe it's just because I'm on the aro/ace spectrum and she's clearly allosexual/alloromantic but how do you go from breaking off a wedding because your fiancee/fiance cheated on you to jumping in your ex's arm within a day or 2? She comes across one of those people who can't stand being alone and I've always pitied people like that. I know she's suffering, she's hurt, she's betrayed and she might have not really loved Kam and that might be why she's able to catch feelings for Jordan, Jordan might be the one true love or whatever, but I just can't relate to her. I think she's a little pathetic imo.

Anita: I can't stand her tbh. She's spoiled and rude. In the last chapter we're able to see a peek of her struggles with the balance act of juggling a different front to everyone around her, her fans, her manager and so forth, so I'm hoping she'll grow on me as we get more into that and I'm sure Imani and her family will help her see that she's not doing as good as she thinks she is and maybe help her change her attitude, but for now, she irritates me.

Dee: I like her. She seems like a strong woman that knows what she wants and I admire that about her. I also sympathize with the whole vibe where her whole family is pushing her to find someone and that if you're not in a relationship it means you're miserable when you just may need to figure out the whole relationship thing on your own time and on your own terms. I don't want to play her romance route but I do think she could do better than Andre, and I wish her happiness.

Maia: My favorite! I do wish pb would stop with the whole immature ace trope but that isn't Maia's fault. I do love her chaotic but fun energy and she's the comedic relief to the other three's serious dramas. I look forward to her accomplishing her dreams and the fun journey that will take us on!

As of right now, I don't think I will, only because I have other fics in my docs that need attention. Specifically speaking for the 'Taylor Swift knows best' one, I'm actually really hesitant on it. I don't know PTSD well enough to write about it and what I really enjoyed about these short summary stories is that I can be as vague as I want without elaborating too much. The relationship between Matt's fiancee and Sylvie would be hard to write because, when I think about them, there's a fine line between 'really good friends' and 'we both dated the same guy but we're fine with each other', and I feel like I would have a hard time writing that.

I do agree that it would make a great story though, so if anyone wants to write around it, please go ahead! I would love to read it as well! :)
