After Pride

Il giorno dopo il Pride di Brescia io e Dario siamo andati dai miei genitori per il pranzo domenicale. C'erano in ballo i tortelli mantovani home made con l'erba di San Pietro, impossibile dire di no. Mi presento con la tshirt di Chiaralascura che recita: Tutt* Tuttu Tuttə.

La giornata fila liscissima fino a quando mia mamma, con tono molto contrariato, mi chiede: "cos'è quel segno sulla tua maglietta?"

In una frazione di secondo realizzo che mia mamma è diventata una nazi grammar pronta a difendere a spada tratta le buone vecchie tradizioni linguistiche anti schwa ma mi ferma prima che io le attacchi l'interminabile e collaudato pippone sulla rivoluzione che parte dal modo di parlare indicandomi delle imbarazzanti macchie di sugo al pomodoro.

La mia vicina di ombrellone, sulla trentina, sta fieramente leggendo "Così non schwa" (2022, Andrea De Benedetti) alla sua amica e vicina di ombrellone. Non ero a conoscenza dell'esistenza di questo libro, ma dopo aver ascoltato 2-3 pagine, posso dire con certezza che il contenuto è tanto pessimo quanto il titolo. Sottotitolo del suddetto volume è: "Il linguaggio inclusivo è un'idea seducente. Tuttavia il cuore del problema sta quasi sempre altrove. Perch�� i significati sono piú importanti dei significanti. Perché includere certe categorie può significare escluderne altre. E perché le buone pratiche, ove fondate sul ricatto morale, rischiano seriamente di convertirsi in cattive regole". Il linguaggio inclusivo è in continua evoluzione per essere sempre più inclusivo, e non esclude nessuno; i cishet temono l'eliminazione definitiva di femminile e maschile, cosa a cui nessuno punta, e l'ignoranza regna sovrana. Certi libri non andrebbero nemmeno messi in commercio.
