i think they have a lot of things saved. we know phil has hard drives full of old chat logs and dan has his lil memory box where he's saved the pinof questions, for SURE those two have held onto a whole bunch of stuff. idk if twitter keeps dms that far back, in theory i think they do but shit happens, but even if it doesn't i'm so sure dnp have them somewhere

That poor kid is definitely going to be put through the ringer. Interrogations, background checks, if he's ever gotten a speeding ticket they're grilling him about it. Simon has been following him for weeks, ever since their daughter spoke his name for the first time.

The reader is the most normal about it all. Welcoming him in, trying to make him feel comfortable, but it's hard with four overly protective military men breathing down your back.

Eventually they relax as time goes on, but god forbid that boy ever break their baby girl's heart. They'll do far worse to him.

The detail about Vasco getting ear infections is so on brand for his breed, I love that little detail. I’m a dog groomer, and hounds are my absolute faves, but when people think they have soft velvety bunny ears I have to laugh. They are *thick* slabs of flesh that smell like ear wax. I hope Machete doesn’t mind 😂

that line is soooo loud. not only has it been 13 years but it's how well they know each other. that dan knows him so well that he wasn't expecting it. it's the fact that he's still able to be surprised by him. it's that 13 years isn't enough. there will always be more to learn about each other.
