Thoughts on the Donquixote's crucifixion.
Since today is Good Friday I felt like sharing this piece of interpretation of Donquixote family's "crucifixion". Throughout the series and Doflamingo's life I think we can see some symbolism, paralelism, or just vague allusions and hints to his nature being similar to that of the Antichrist (opposite of Christ) or the idea of Doflamingo as Lucifer or a fallen angel (we see something akin to The Last Supper with his "family", including his own personal "Judas" sitting at his left; his ideology of being the rightful king to rule the world, yet not being willing to sacrifiece himself for anyone, but actually expecting everybody else to sacrifice themselves for him; his agent-of-chaos personality; the entire idea that he is almost a devine creature that fell from Heaven to Hell, stripped of his rightful power, status, and legitimate possition above humans, betrayed by his own family and blood; the nickname "Heavenly Demon", etc.). However, I believe the moment in his life he comes to incarnate all these topics comes just after his and his family's crucifixion, or just right after the very moment he lashes out against the rabbid mob awakening and loosing his haki. Just seconds before we have this image:
Here we have Homing, whom we know is a good man, in the middle, at the centre of the scene. Rocinante is to his right hand side, and Doflamingo is to his left. As you might know, Jesus Christ was crucified together with two more people, often refered to as the good thief (traditionally named Dimas/Dismas), and the bad thief (traditionally named Gestas). The good thief was crucified at the right hand side of Jesus, while the bad thief was cricified at his left. Maybe I am looking to much into it, and I'm pretty sure someone else must have already realised this, but I can't help to notice the paralelisms and similarities. In this scene, while all Homing is concerened with is the safety of his children and doesn't mind begging and humiliating himself to try to get the mob to free them, to the point he asks the enraged mob to forgive his children, for they were only little kids, Doflamingo's anger gets the best of him and he lashes out at the crowd, not asking nor begging them to put him down, but threatening to kill them all for their actions, all while blaming his father for all his surffering and his family tragic fate. No forgiveness, no acceptance, but defiance and a promise of vicious and bloody revenge for his father and the craze mob's wrong-doings. Homing was willing to take in all the hate, die for the sins his kind had committed over the centuries, if only to appease the mob and get them to spare his children. He was willing to die for them (and he eventually did, though not in the best way possible, tbh), he was a good person and this scene perfectly shows that, despite his naiveté and the tragic and dire consequences of his actions, he acted out of the goodness of his heart. Doflamingo would not even lower himself to the point of asking for mercy, not before humans he believed were below him.
We all know how the story goes, how Doflamingo and Rocinante turned out to be complete different people, with the whole good vs evil motive they have going on.
Again, I'm probably digging too much into it, but I just like the Rosi/Dismas, Doffy/Gestas and Homing/Christ paralelism. More so considering how Homing will eventually willingly die for his kids' future, which sounds kinda biblical given we are all God's sons and daughters, and he (Jesus, God's son, God himself) died for us (even if in Homing's case he did die for nothing, as Doffy will not be accepted back among his kind); and how, just after Homing's (Jesus) death, it will be Doffy who becomes, in a way, the symbol of the fallen angel, of the gone-wrong-Jesus, of the anti-Christ, almost Satan himself (ruling the underworld, as his father's heresy took the throne above away from him). He replaces his father as the semi-Biblical almost Christ-like figure, but in a reversed, twisted and sick way.

it's not discussed much but i'm kind of very interested in the sort of friendship Datz and Beh'leeb have together....... they've both lost people extremely dear to them, so even though Datz is a perpetual Silly Guy i'm sure Beh'leeb takes solace in knowing he's kind of in a similar position to her. perhaps even his ability to take it in stride inspires her a bit, and she reminds him that it is okay to mourn. i want them to be close friends. i want Datz to become an uncle YET AGAIN to another random child KRKF

My hc for what happens to the kids post canon is that eda and camilla split custody of luz bc she wants to go between worlds and darius and raine split custody of hunter bc he likes them both. Eventually raine and eda move in together so luz and hunter end up living together too and luz starts calling hunter her brother bc of course.
Hunter has already thought of luz as a sister figure for a while but it still takes months of bitching and moaning for him to call her that to her face. Because as close as they are hes still uncomfortable with the whole familial titles thing (it takes like a year for him to start calling darius dad) and eventually he just holds out to annoy luz.
In return luz goes around referring to herself as his OLDER sister to assert dominance, franziska von karma style. And despite hunters efforts eventually strangers and acquaintances start assuming luz is genuinely older.
Camilla: my daughter came by over the weekend
Camillas coworker, who has only vaguely heard of camillas new family situation: which one?
Camilla: the older one. She and her brother went to the movies after lunch
Camillas coworker: which one?
Camilla: the younger brother
Camillas coworker: WHICH ONE???

byan's distrust and outright fear of hospitals is something that's come up a bit in threads and muse discussion, but i've never really talked about why they hate them so much?
for one, they have a heavy distrust of any authority figures, including doctors and nurses. pair that with the fact that being treated in the hospital puts them in a vulnerable position and not in any control of things going on around them or to them, that's already enough reason for them to hate the place. and YET... the thing that really traumatized them and created a proper fear of hospitals happened when they were 12. after running away from an abusive foster home, which put them back on the street as they had no where else to go, byan stole from the wrong person and wound up severely injured in the resulting altercation. someone found them, called an ambulance, and they woke up in a hospital bed. using clues from the things they'd had stuffed away in their backpack, the hospital managed to find byan's identity and, from there, found their family - or, the foster family they were still technically under the care of. when the nurse told them that their family had been called and was already on the way, byan panicked and pleaded with her to not let them in, but... of course that didn't work. she thought they were merely afraid of the consequences of running away and being out so late in such an unsafe part of the city, brushing off their concerns to assure them that everything would be fine. it wasn't.
going to the hospital resulted in the family they fled from not only finding them, but dragging them back to that terrible house which became much, much more difficult to escape from after that. and that's all they can think about anytime they're in one of those buildings, be it in a bed or simply visiting.

And now, because I did one for Baet's family, I had to do a height chart for (half of; I didn't do Kei's half) Enoch's family as well! So have some Elohim angels!
None of them really have any special notes about their heights like Baet's family does! Aside from Enoch, because he typically glamours himself to be taller than he actually is (5'9" vs his actual 5'2") because he's salty about being the tiniest in their family other than the actual children lmao.
Average height for angels is about the same as it is for humans! Of course, some angels have other forms they can take depending of what type of angel they are, but that's different.
Edit: I lied actually, the angels can change sex, and that does change the height of some of them. I'm just doing the height of whatever form they're most likely to take in this one...because otherwise it'd have to be split up into multiple parts.
