Li Yong killing his best friend to protect Mai Ling was so emotional! He even yelled at Mai Ling to get out! That’s how you know he finally broke. How much more is he willing to sacrifice for her and love? Chao was right, love has consequences. 

Mai Ling is a complicated bad bitch. She’s ruthless and power-hungry. But her feelings for Li Yong and Ah Sahm are real, deep down. At this rate, she’s gonna push away everyone who could be an ally. Can’t wait to see how this will affect her and Li Yong.

The second biggest fight was Bill vs Chief Atwood. I must say, Bill’s been growing on me this season. He was the only one who gave a shit when Atwood was terrorizing the Chinese. The other cops are just mad that he’s punishing their people, too. Still, 5 years in prison for stealing some food is ludicrous. Atwood is an evil menace for everyone, white or Chinese.  I’ve been waiting all season for Bill to beat the shit out of him! Too bad it’s gonna bite him in the ass later.

Caiden: For of all, Caiden would be absolutely destroyed if the MC passed away. Poor Caiden is unhealthy dependant on MC, so for them to be taken away like that, that’s a lot for Caiden. Now, when they come back, Caiden would be obviously obsessed with MC’s safety, they wouldn’t let MC even step away from their line of sight.

Jade: Passing away is a very touchy subject with Jade. That’s one of the reasons why Jade doesn’t get attached to people that much, so it’s more of a feeling that gets accumulated, a sense of care towards the MC, that when they’re gone, that feeling goes along with it. Now for the MC to come back, it will take twice the amount of work to make Jade “invested” once again.

Bo: Honestly, all Bo cares about is the present. If MC died and suddenly came back, the normal reaction would be confusion and a lot of questions, but Bo is just happy to have the MC back. You can bet they’re going to be more attentive, and maybe the time spend together is going to be more valued from now on.

Tori: Angry wouldn’t be the correct word for what Tori is feeling after all of that ordeal. Tori cares very little, much like Jade, it takes a while for them to care about people. So for that be deemed worthless after that person is gone, is a betray of hope on how much trust Tori should put in people. Then for the MC to come back just like that. Well it’s frustrating, it’s hard for Tori to trust on how long is the MC going to stay this time. So yeah, they’re angry, but also scared.

Jay: Uhmmm... there’s a lot to process here. Jay would be very sad once the MC is gone, they would go back to their shell, be distant and closed off. Then when the MC comes back, Jay would grateful but very confused as to where they went and what actually happened. Jay is still in grief, so it might take a while for them to be able to talk about and joke about it much like Bo does.

Jun: Jun would probably be the only one who would understand. Sparks, especially water sparks, have a belief that after death, you come back anew, much like reincarnation, but with a clean soul. A clean slate. Your memories remain, but your “sins” are forgiven. So Jun would be curious and ask about it, but also be respectable and respect whatever the MC chooses to say or do. Jun believes that the MC went through a spiritual experience, and for that, they are happy.
