a complete Marvel Universe rewrite

here me out- I know I don’t post on this blog anymore and that it’s been entirely DC BUT- I’ve been working on something.

Sometime around August last year I had a spur of the moment idea and started working on an entire rewrite of Marvel Comics, starting with the X-Men.

I’ve been working on this for around 10 months now and I’m still working on the X-Men side of things, so I thought “fuck it why don’t I talk about this”

I’ll admit I was not a giant X-Men fan until I started this project but damn have they grown on me even if I still don’t know as much as other fans probably do.

BUT I would absolutely love to learn more about the X-Men from people and to share all the ideas and work I have put into this project since it began all the way back in August.

Drabbles from a fic that may or may not ever be written

In which Tim and Jason stumble upon a plot convenient device that transports the user into a different dimension/universe. Except it’s broken and they don’t know how to work it yet so after they accidentally trigger it they’re pretty much just tripping through the multiverse in the hopes that maybe they’ll eventually end up back in their universe

Tim: Hey look, it’s your people

I bet there are people at The Daily Planet who look at Clark Kent and wonder how badly he must have been bullied as a child. Like the guy is huge, and smart, and pretty dang handsome. Yet he’s always shrinking in on himself, trying to look small and non-threatening. He calls himself “mild-mannered” which the whole floor has seen is just code for “I will make sassy jokes with my friends, but anytime anyone starts yelling at me I will just lie down and take it every time.” Everyone on his floor must think Smallville Middle School permanently destroyed his self-confidence.
