For me it’s Lownly’s “Like a Drum” series. “His Beating Heart”/“My Beating Heart” just sticks with me. Reo is all confused, “okay…?”

Then Chigiri flips to the most unflattering picture of Nagi like passed out on the floor or something and goes, with the upmost disdain in his voice, “now look at who you choose to date.”

I want more Reo & Kunigami friendship.

I want to see a Kunigami & Nagi interaction because how much do they really interact outside of games? All Kunigami knows is that Nagi broke Reo’s heart (twice) and he had to care for him in that time.

Give me Protective Kunigami! Give me him threatening Nagi not to ever hurt Reo again. Even in his emo phase!!! That would just make him scarier. He pretends he doesn’t really care but he’s giving Nagi the most vicious fucking glares when they face off.

And it gets even WORSE for Nagi when Chigiri and Kunigami get together cause Chigiri just brutally makes fun of Nagi flirting hopelessly with an oblivious Reo while Kunigami sends him these killer looks

Nagi gets really touchy with his friends. Like he randomly drops his weight on Bachira, or props his chin on Isagi’s head, or leans on Chigiri when he’s tired, and Reo gets annoyed about it because that used to just be their thing. He doesn’t notice (unlike literally everyone else) that there are little differences between how Nagi acts with them and how he treats Reo. Like how when Nagi stands behind him, he pulls Reo flush to his chest and secures him there by wrapping his arms around his waist like he’s scared he’ll disappear, or how Nagi brushes Reo’s hair out of his face with a sense of tenderness he would never use with the others, or even the way he leans in closer whenever he’s near Reo, like he’s hoping Reo will make a move to close the distance. The others can’t stand it because Nagi is literally so disgustingly in love and Reo just doesn’t seem to get it.
