hello! after years and years I made my own brand and the online shop is open now! I worked on it a lot, while working and trying to have a normal life here in Japan...that's also why I wasn't around lately.
Selfish moon ☾ is a brand created with the purpose to share the message of inner beauty, gender equality and body positivity, excluding all stereotypes. It is not just a clothing brand but also a community, movement and lifestyle brand. The idea is that even when you are at home you should wear pretty clothes and take care of yourself for yourself. self love is not selfish!
If you followed me for some years you might know what I went through especially here in Japan. It wasn't easy and this brand is like a "rebirth" for me. As the mission of the brand I, myself, started considering myself more, accepting myself, loving myself and respecting myself.
I hope you will like selfish moon, the first collection is just a taste of what I am going to do next! I have a lot of projects in mind, so I will be so happy if you follow me in this journey c:

love you, Silvia. ♡

Anyway I'm going to open a lifestyle blog so I will include some Japan stuffs too. Do you have requests? Questions? Let me know in the comments or leave me an ask! ♡˖꒰ᵕ༚ᵕ⑅꒱

I finished Japanese school in September and I'm actually not studying at all Japanese, but living in Japan (husband and friends are all Japanese) makes me talk just in Japanese so I practice every day.
In any case if you have any questions, feel free to ask me c:

I even don't know if I have energy to survive until Monday since I go to school and work almost everyday 💦

A really small mistake 💦 just because 済 has the すみ reading I couldn't remember if the verb has it too or not.
Anyway the test has the 読み方 and the 書き方, I didn't make any error on the writing part ✨

Honorific Prefixes
The explanation that is generally given is that words of native Japanese origin take お as the honorific prefix whereas words of Chinese origin will take ご
Another phrasing is that words read with their kun’yomi (Japanese readings) take お and words read with their On’yomi (Chinese readings) take ご
Both of these can be written in kanji as 御 however outside of Keigo お is practically never seen in kanji, and ご is maybe only a 50/50 chance of the kanji being used.
That said, there are a few additional notes that get left out.
お is commonly used for day-to-day words, い adjectives, and most foods (except for ご飯) regardless of origin
ご   is commonly used for more abstract concepts and most な adjectives
While you may sometimes see people attach these prefixes to loan words it’s considered incorrect to do so.
Many “exceptions” are created by these additional notes.
Some Chinese origin words that commonly take お
お茶 「おちゃ」 Tea
お元気 「おげんき」 Lively, healthy
お勉強 「おべんきょう」 Study
お電話 「おでんわ」 Phone, Phone call
お食事 「おしょくじ」Meal
お化粧 おけしょう」 Make-up
お野菜 「おやさい」 Vegetables
お綺麗 「おきれい」 Beautiful
Some Japanese origin words that commonly take ご
ごゆっくり leisurely
ごもっとも most, extemely
ご親切 「ごしんせつ」Kind, friendly
ご盛ん 「ごさかん」 Popular
Also some words can be used with either of the prefixes:
返事 「へんじ」 Reply
都合 「つごう」 Circumstance
利息 「りそく」 Interest (financial)
通知 「つうち」 Notification, notice
会計 「かいけい」 Account
受験 「じゅけん」 Entrance exam
年賀 「ねんが」 New year’s greetings
祝儀 「しゅうぎ」 Celebration
病気 「びょうき」 Illness
Required Honorifics
While some more masculine speech forms are more forgiving of this, there are several words in which the honorific has become accepted as part of the word and should be kept even in casual speech. The more common examples are:
お金 「おかね」 Money
お茶 「おちゃ」 Tea
お辞儀 「おじぎ」 bowing
ご飯  「ごはん」(as well as compound words using ご飯 ) Meal, cooked rice

JLPT N2: I can do it
I've started studying for the JLPT N2, you might think that I'm late but I don't care, I know my abilities and even if the last days I will understand I can't pass it, I'll do my best!
Anyway I'm studying one unit of grammar, kanji everyday. After that I study 3 pages of vocabulary - too many? No, my technique will help me - and then I do as many reading units as I like, I enjoy reading! In the evening I revise all the parts studied doing exercises.
I hope I can keep this routine until I have the exam. But of course I will go to the Japanese school too!
Last month I'm going to buy some sample tests book so I can focus on them. Meanwhile I do something "lighter" revising watching videos about the JLPT N2.

Yesterday I bought this book to prepare for the N2. I watched a bunch of video for the JLPT N2 and I liked this one. One month before I might buy a sample tests book to focus on the same type of questions.
I don't know what to do with the kanji 💦 buy a book or just follow the ones that the school gives us + the vocabulary book I bought before. Do you have any suggestions? c:
