Caretaker is SOOOO pissed and hysterical with panic over Sickie’s state. Sickie had just minutes before sworn they were fine. And now here they are, collapsed on the floor in a heap of limp limbs, and Caretaker is screaming and ranting at them before they can even think. After unleashing on them, Sickie looks up at Caretaker with wet, glossy eyes, looking positively pitiful, and in a weaker voice than could be imagined stutters out “I’m sorry….I…I really didn’t know…it was this bad.” The look of utter confusion and remorse on Sickie’s face is just so genuine and so pathetic that Caretaker can’t help but feel an imitate crushing wave of guilt.

An overworker who so desperately wants someone to tell them to take a break, because they so badly want one and they know they need one but they can't give themself one.
They work themself sick, yet still, with a blanket wrapped around their shivering form, pale skin as white as the blanks that their foggy mind keeps drawing, and a crimson flush on their warm, tear-stained cheeks, they keep working.
Their partner checks on them.
"Oh...! Oh, honey. Oh, my baby. I didn't know it was this bad..." They rush closer and wrap their arms tight around their sick sweetheart and whisper, "Honey, please stop. You've done enough, you need to rest."
Finally given permission to have a break, they simply melt into their partners arms, practically going limp like a tired little ragdoll. "...okay..." is all they manage to mumble before sleep finally wins the battle that'd been going for weeks.
They're carried from their desk to their bed, covers are layed over them, they're tucked in nice and snug, and when they wake up, they'll probably cry. This is exactly what they needed someone to do.

injured on stage - hoseok
sickie: hoseok
caregivers: ot7 (kinda)
--------------------------------
The boys were on the final leg of their latest world tour, and all of the members were exhausted after the long legs of travel and the packed schedules, to say the least. They had finally reached Seoul, the final leg of their world tour, and a sold-out four-day run in the Olympic stadium.
All of the members had been putting in extra effort for the final shows, wanting to show their Korean fans how grateful they were for their support. One member who had been pushing himself particularly hard was Hoseok. Hoseok is always extremely self-critical of his performances and always looks for a chance to improve.
The group's choreographer had suggested a change to one of their dance routines by adding an additional dance break starring Hoseok and Jimin, as a way to make the final leg of the shows even more spectacular than their previous ones.
During the last week of preparations, Hoseok had seldom left the practice room, attempting to perfect the new routine. His entire body felt tired and his muscles ached, but he had endured worse, and anyway, he'd do anything to make the fans and their team happy.
Drenched in sweat and feeling more tired than he was sure he had ever been in his life, Hoseok got his phone out of his bag and checked the time. It's 2 AM.
He sighed, raking a hand through his damp hair. 'One more run-through of the choreo and then I'll head back to the hotel.' He told himself.
————
Hoseok didn't leave the dance studio until close to dawn, getting a whole two hours of restless sleep before their managers came around to wake them up for breakfast. When the usually cheery Hoseok appeared at breakfast looking visibly exhausted, the other members were concerned.
"Hobi Hyung, are you feeling okay? You look tired." Taehyung asked around a mouthful of food.
"Yeah Hyung, you didn't get back here until really late last night, I didn't hear you come into our room," Jimin added, casting a glance over to Hoseok, who was leaning against his hand, his elbow on the breakfast table.
He immediately perked up. "Ah, I'm fine, Jiminie-ah!" Hoseok said with fake cheeriness as he helped himself to coffee from the French press coffee pot that was sitting in the middle of the table, adding milk and a sugar packet before taking a sip. "Just didn't find the hotel bed comfy that's all!"
This comment seemed to spark conversations about hotel arrangements amongst the members, and when Hoseok was sure no one was watching, he let his face fall.
He may have fooled some of the members, but he wasn't fooling Yoongi.
"Hobi, you really don't look good," He said deadpan.
"Yoon, I'm just a bit tired that's all," He said with a small smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.
"I'm just saying that you should take it easy until the show later, have a rest for once,"
"Of course Hyung,"
----------
Hoseok, true to character, did not rest.
They were going through final rehearsals in the dance studio before they headed to the stadium for soundcheck.
Hoseok had put every last bit of energy he had into the choreography, and much to his delight it was perfect, not a single mistake and the transition between the original choreo and the added dance break was flawless, almost as if it had been a part of the routine in the first instance.
The group were now on the way to the stadium, the seven of them loaded into the van, with Hoseok taking one of the seats at the very back, Namjoon seated next to him.
The leader looked over to Hoseok, who was fighting to keep his eyes open. "Hoseok-hyung, why don't you have a nap before the soundcheck?"
"Joonie-ah, I'm fine-" Hoseok was cut off by Namjoon jumping in.
"Hoseok, you look awful, just have a twenty-minute nap, it won't kill you,"
Hoseok sighed. "Fine..." He grumbled under his breath and turned to look out of the window of the van, forcing himself to stay awake.
---------
When they arrived at the venue, Seokjin set about ordering some food for them to eat after the soundcheck, the other members sorting through their stuff and scrolling through social media on their phones.
Hoseok made a show of laying down on the couch and closing his eyes to Namjoon but didn't actually sleep.
If the dancer was honest, it felt very good to give his aching muscles a rest, and he let his body relax into the soft black leather of the couch. He didn't truly relax, instead opting to visualise the dreaded dance break behind his closed eyes, running through it time and time again.
On the fifth mental run-through, Hoseok found himself fighting the heavy edges of sleep. He couldn't sleep now, the soundcheck was in ten minutes, and then it would be on with eating dinner and the pre-show ritual.
He decided he'd just enjoy laying down and let his back muscles stretch out a bit longer.
--------
Soundcheck went off without a hitch, and everyone's in-ear monitors and microphones were working as intended. The members got a chance to check the camera angles and get used to the ever so slightly different stage set-up in preparation for the opening show that night.
Once soundcheck had ended, the boys went back to the green room, finally getting to dig into the food that Seokjin had ordered.
Jin had chosen some pork belly for Hoseok, one of his favourites, and something the dancer would usually be extremely excited to eat as a pre-show meal.
Instead, Hoseok quietly thanked the elder member as he handed him the plastic container, and tried to look somewhat interested in the maknae's excited conversation while pushing his food around with his fork in an attempt to make it look like he had been eating from the container.
"Hobi-hyung, are you alright? You're being really quiet.." Jungkook said softly to Hoseok when the rest of the members had become distracted by the 95 liners arguing.
"I'm fine Kookie-ah, I'm just a bit nervous," Hoseok said before taking a small piece of pork and eating it, his stomach churning as he did so. "I just want to give the fans a good show"
Jungkook hummed in agreement, nodding his head before turning back to his food.
A member of the tour crew peered their head around the door, reminding them that they would have to be ready in an hour.
Hoseok swallowed thickly, and silently willed his body to get its shit together.
-------
From Hoseok's perspective, the show was going as planned. Although, in his original plan, he would have definitely had more energy than this.
He'd managed to maintain his bright mood maker persona for the crowd, throwing himself into the performance with any of the residual energy he had left.
He was tired.
No, he was exhausted.
Exhaustion he felt deep in his bones, causing his muscles to ache and his head to pound.
About halfway through the concert, it had started to rain. But that wasn't out of the ordinary for Korea in spring, and none of the members, nor the tour crew thought anything of it.
Hoseok and the other members had just completed their final costume change and were preparing to perform their new choreography in front of fans for the first time.
The stage lights were out, and they quickly moved into their starting positions, before the music began, and Hoseok's brain went into autopilot mode.
He was performing the choreography just as he had practised, transitioning into the dance break, which heavily focused on hip-hop and his ability to pop and lock, as well as some acrobatic elements.
He jumped, as he had done hundreds of times in the past week, but this time his brain felt fuzzy. He couldn't hear the backing track, he couldn't hear the fans. Instead, his ears rang a high pitched noise that irritated his already sore head.
He felt his feet make contact with the floor, only for them to slide out from underneath him, one of his legs going sideways, and his head making contact with the hard floor of the stage, the world fading to black.
-----
"Hoseok?!" He could hear his name being called, it sounded far away.
Something cold and damp came into contact with his forehead, he hissed, teeth grit with pain.
"Hobi-hyung! Wake up!" He heard Jimin's tearful voice.
Hoseok became vaguely aware of something being held against his face. His eyes flicked open, to be met with the blinding view of the dressing room lights above him.
He squinted, and the concerned and teary faces of the other boys came into view. Seokjin was holding a very emotional Jungkook to his chest, looking down at where Hoseok was laying with anxiety lacing his features.
"Seokie-ah! You gave us quite a fright there!" Namjoon said, some relief flooding his voice.
"What happened?" Hoseok asked, but it was muffled by the oxygen mask one of the staff was holding against his face.
"You slipped on the wet floor and hit your head,"
Hoseok tried to sit up but found the firm hands of Yoongi gently pushing him back down to where he was laying on the floor.
"Stay still Hobi-ah, we've got to wait for the ambulance to check you over." The smaller man said, petting Hoseok's hair gently.
Hoseok felt like an idiot. He shouldn't have gone ahead with the performance with the way he was feeling, yet he did anyway. And now he's stuck laying on the floor with his best friends worrying about him.
Tears welled in his eyes and he sniffled. He felt a hand gently smooth his hair back from his forehead and coo. "Hoseokie-ah, I knew you weren't well, it was an even bigger tell when you didn't eat your pork this afternoon," Said Seokjin, who was the one to comfort him this time.
Staff had lifted the oxygen mask from his face now as the paramedics checked Hoseok's eye relaxes for concussion by having him follow their finger while shining a torch in his eyes. When they had finished, they went over to talk with the staff members.
Hoseok let out a high pitched whimper, followed by a sob, his tears flowing freely now. The boy felt more embarrassed than anything, he'd made a show of himself in front of the fans, and the clip of him falling was probably making the rounds on every online news site in Korea now.
"It's okay baby, I'm here, Seokjin's got you," The eldest member assured, his fatherly instincts coming out as he held Hoseok's hand.
The paramedic came over to the group. "Mr Jung is cleared to go home. He doesn't appear to be exhibiting any symptoms of a concussion as of right now, but he still needs plenty of rest, as his blow to the head was major. If he begins to experience any symptoms such as memory loss, disorientation, nausea or blackouts, then you must call an ambulance or bring him to the hospital immediately." He said seriously.
"Yes sir, thank you for all of your help," Namjoon said before a manager showed the ambulance crew out.
He knelt next to Hoseok. "Let's get you home and into bed for a long sleep, ay Hobi-hyung?" He said gently.
Hoseok nodded. He couldn't imagine anything better right now...

leaders don’t take sick days (txt soobin centric)
ahhhhhh first time posting a sickfic on tumblr in a really long time :(( plz be kind!
------------------------------------
sickie: soobin
caretakers: txt
-------------
Soobin woke very early that morning, a pounding headache and stomach cramps disturbing his sleep.
He checked the time on his phone. 30 minutes until he had to be out of bed for a full day of practice before their upcoming comeback anyway.
Sighing, the boy slowly sat up and got out of bed, heading to the small kitchen area in their dorm. He began making breakfast for the other members as normal, but as he continued, the smell of the food cooking on the stove worsened his nausea.
No breakfast for him today then, he'll have to make black coffee and pain pills work.
He plated up the food for the younger members and went back into the bedrooms to wake them all up.
Within 5 minutes all of the boys were awake and in the kitchen, excited by the food that Soobin had cooked them for breakfast
"Looks great Hyung!" Hueningkai complimented as he sat down at the breakfast bar, plushie in tow.
Soobin forced a smile. "Thank you Hyuka, "
"Hyung? Where's your breakfast?" Taehyun asked, his mouth half-full with food. Directly next to him was Beomgyu, who had appeared to have fallen asleep again.
"I already ate Taehyunie, I got up early to get ready for practice" Soobin lied.
"Good idea Soobin-ah, we have lots to go through today" Yeonjun commented as he got up to put his empty plate in the sink.
All of the boys got up to go and get dressed for their hours of dance and vocal practice, before leaving for the practice rooms.
--
30 minutes into dance practice and Soobin did not feel good at all. His skin was flushed and clammy, more than it should be after 30 minutes of dancing. His head pounded with every step he took, and his stomach churned with every sharp movement he made.
His focus began to weaken and he began making stupid mistakes on simple parts of the choreography.
"Soobin-ah!" Yeonjun yelled with frustration. "You need to start getting this right! We don't have long until the album is released!"
"Sorry Yeonjun" Soobin hung his head and took a deep breath to avoid throwing up on the other boy's shoes.
"I know you're stressed, but we all are. You need to start putting in more effort"
They went through the choreography another four times until it was almost perfect.
On the fifth run-through, when Soobin turned quickly as was expected of him in the routine, his vision began to swim and he felt himself sway, unsteady on his feet. The background music and the sound of the other members' feet on the studio floor became distant and he felt himself begin to fall.
Before he had a chance to feel his body make contact with the floor, the world went black.
--
When he came to, Soobin opened his eyes to find the concerned faces of the other members looking down at him. Kai looked so scared, with tears rolling down his cheeks.
"What happened?" Soobin asked, his head throbbing worse than it had been all day.
"You passed out Hyung, " Taehyun said in a small worried voice.
"Are you feeling okay Soobin-ah?" Yeonjun asked from his side.
"I'll be fine, " Soobin said and tried to get up from the floor.
Taehyun's firm hand on his shoulder stopped him. "You hit the floor hard Soobinie, it's best to stay laying down on the floor a bit longer"
"Do you feel sick?" Beomgyu asked.
"My head hurts a bit."
"Soobinie, you completely blacked out. Be honest, are you sick?" Yeonjun asked.
Tears welled up in Soobin's eyes. "Yes."
"For how long?"
"Only since last night, I took some pain pills this morning but they didn't work, " Tears we're running down the leader's face.
"Hyung did you actually eat anything today?" Taehyun asked.
Soobin shook his head, a sob escaping his lips and cheeks turning red in humiliation. He was their leader. He wasn't supposed to show weakness.
"That will be why you passed out. Your blood sugar will be too low." Said Yeonjun. "C'mon, we'll get you back to the dorm."
Taehyun and Kai tried to help Soobin to sit up, only for the boy to throw up the remaining contents of his stomach on the practice room floor, only making the boy cry more.
"Shhhh Sooninie, it's okay." Yeonjun soothed. "We'll get someone to come and clean it up, don't worry." The older boy scooped Soobin up in his arms and carried him bridal style back to their dorm room.
Kai helped to pull back the sheets on Soobins bed, and Yeonjun laid him down in the bed gently.
"You don't need to do all of this, I'll be fine," Soobin said through closed eyes, the light in the room making them feel as if they were burning.
"Be quiet and let us look after you Hyung," said Kai.
"Why did you tell us that you felt this bad Soobinie?" Asked Beomgyu as he entered the bedroom with Taehyun in tow, carrying a glass of water and a bowl of plain rice.
"I'm your leader, I'm the one supposed to be looking after all of you." Soobin chuckled sadly, arms gripping his stomach in obvious pain.
"Don't be silly Soobin-ah, you're still our Hyung and deserve to be looked after," Yeonjun said, smoothing Soobin's damp hair. "Now, do you want to sleep or eat first?"
"Sleep." Said Soobin, already close to drifting off.
"Okay, get some rest Hyung, we'll be right outside okay?" Taehyun patted his shoulder
"Thank you," Soobin said, half asleep.
One by one the other boys left the room, leaving only Hueningkai. The youngest boy approached his leader and tucked one of his many plushies into bed with the sick boy.
"Get well soon Hyungie,"  Kai said softly, pressing a kiss into Soobin's hair before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
Soobin gave in the the tiredness and let sleep overcome him...
