As I am watching "Jaws", there are a few things I'd like to talk about
We are confronted with a Fudge like situation. I don't know why people think it is necessary to ignore a threat like, I don't know, a shark. It just seems so illogical to pretend that nothing happened just because it would be better for your own benefit. If there is a threat of any kind, a shark or Voldemort or whatever, I would gladly play by the rules and stay as far away from it as possible. Even if it means that there have to be some restrictions. And the worst part is, that people blame the sheriff for knowing and not doing anything when in fact, the mayor just forbid him to do anything. It's just stupid.
They caught a shark and the specialist says, no, that's not the shark that killed the girl. WHY DO THEY IGNORE HIM?! How can they be so self absorbed to not listen to the expert? If the expert says, we're going to look for proof then that's what we'll do. Period.
If the mayor wants people so bad to go into the water to portray an image of a perfect town, why doesn't he go into the water himself? You know why? Because he's scared. Because he doesn't want to die. Because he believes that there is another shark out there. He fucking knows. And still he urges people to go there. Fucking moron.
The first time, they think they spotted a shark and acted quickly. The second time someone screams 'Shark in the pond' they do nothing! WHY?! If he called the boats the first time around, why didn’t he do it the second time? Maybe they would've caught the shark sooner. Maybe they could've avoided another attack. I know that it was necessary to get the mayor to sign the paper for the shark hunter but it just sucks to know that it could've ended sooner.
So, really, in the end, they tried to fight the shark with a small boat and three silly men. At least the expert and the huntet were on board. But the toxic male suspects created a problem of their own: The two of them want to be the alpha. They both want to use their super technique (one more modern than the other) and kill the shark. But basically, after trying everything, the man with the least bit of knowledge killed it. Maybe they should've thought earlier about the tanks. Maybe everything would've turned out differently. Who knows.
It was fun to guess who's going to die next and most of the time, I was right. Also, the theme music supported the attacs really well. In the beginning, you didn’t see the shark attack but you could always tell from the music what's going to happen. Pretty impressive soundtrack work, Mr. Williams.
All in all, a film worthy to watch and worth the hype. Do not recommend to anyone who gets scared very easily or anyone who can't see blood or something like that.

Has anyone watched The Outfit? Has anyone else enjoyed this masterpiece? No?
So, let me explain. It's about a cutter in the 1950s in Chicago. The whole story takes place in his shop where he has a black box where bad guys leave letters to communicate with each other. He's kind of a part of the Boyle Family who lead the neighborhood he lives in. And the main plot evolves around a tape that reveals the rat inside the organisation. Everyone wants to have that tape. The plottwist in the end is so good!
I love how the actor that plays the cutter embraces the role. He seems really into it and he fits perfectly.
Also, in regard to female characters in action/thriller/crime movies, the females are power women (for that time and for the fact that women are mostly sexualised and used as trophies in the most action movies). I loved that!
Furthermore, the movie blew my mind, drew me in AND was also funny. And there was blood and action. This is the best combination for me.
So basically, there's a comedic aspect, the action aspect, the mystery aspect and the thriller aspect in one movie. And the jokes are (in my opinion) well written (as the movie). I'd highly recommend this one.
WATCH IT!

Ted Lasso is still following me. I'm still hung up on the ending of that series. I'm so hung up and still thinking about the ending that I had a long conversation with my sister about the RoyJamie thing and she doesn't believe me. She disagrees with the RoyxJamiexKeeley ship and does not really support RoyxJamie! How can she not see it?! Did she go blind while watching the series?!
I tried to explain to her that Jamie is the babygirl in Roy and Keeleys relationship and I even pointed out that they immediately went to comfort him in season 3 even though they had their own problems with their relationship. She doesn't see it! She called me irrational and delusional for believing and supporting those ships. Really, she should look behind the scenes and think about it and then tell me I'm wrong. Sometimes, she doesn't think behind the relationships that exist within the series. I don't mind, but it would be good for her to experience the joy I'm experiencing by discovering a ship in the subcontext of the series. Like, damn. It's not that hard to open your mind to different ships.
Furthermore, I mentioned Amsterdam and how we don't know what happened between Roy crushing his bike in the middle of the night and Roy and Jamie returning to the bus in the morning. There are so many possibilities what could've happened but she ignores them! Her ignorance is admirable, really. I mean, yeah, tumblr and AO3 helped me figure some things out about the ships in Ted Lasso but I also thought while watching the series that the ships could exist. They are possible and no one can tell me that they aren't there in the subtext. Maybe the writers just didn't realize what exactly they wrote and what that means to the fandom.
Also, I fell down another rabbit hole and found myself in the TedTrent universe and I'm loving it. I don't think I can ever let this series go, so I'm gonna rewatch season 3.

Gold: Pirate Latitudes by Michael Crichton
Wow, just wow. Michael Crichton, the author of Jurassic Park, wrote this masterpiece of a pirate themed novel. It has many things in common with Pirates of the Caribbean but for me, it is so so different.
He drew a line between pirates and privateers. Also, he painted the privateers in a brighter light than they are normally presented. They are really smart and sometimes almost gentleman-like.
My favorite characters were Enders and Lazue.
Enders just is so foul mouthed and pessimistic, you have to love him. He says what he's thinking and always has some cursewords for a situation. I really loved him as a character.
And Lazue is just a legend. There weren't that many female characters in the novel and Lazue is so remarkable in my eyes. She was the only female that joined the cruise actively and she handled a lot of things better than her male colleagues. Hunter and Enders trusted her so much that they let her lead a ship through a cliff and she always had to watch out because her eyes were the best. Lazue gave masc lesbian energy. Lady Sarah Almont, who wasn't aware that Lazue was a girl, enjoyed having Lazue by her side and liked him. Hunter also told Sarah that Lazue might like her as in be in love with her. So progressive!! (maybe I just interpret too much)
It is such a great novel and the suspense never ceases. They escaped one danger and sail right into the next. The way Hunter manages the ships and how intelligent he is, makes the novel so much more interesting. He sees an opportunity to get rich and he ceases it. Even though he knows the risks. His crew trusts him so much!
Crichton wrote it as if he witnessed the 17th century himself and it was so historically thought through, I don't want to know for how long he needed to do research to avoid mistakes or false information.
Michael Crichton was a remarkable author.
I recommend the book to everyone who likes historical fiction with humor, adventure and most of all action with a tiny bit of fantasy.

A little prompt, I guess (not well thought through but I don't care) Disclaimer: it should've been smut but at some point, I turned it into something else? Orchestra ravenrock Oneshot
“Okay, let’s do it from the top again”, Benjy declared and lifted his conductor's baton. Peter groaned. This was the fifth time they played the same piece. The same notes, the same rhythms, the same soli for the last hour. It was fucking exhausting. Angrily, he lifted his flute to his mouth. Behind him, he heard the trumpets whisper.
“He’s gonna kill us one day.”, whispered Sirius to Marlene who just sniggered agreeingly. “If I have to play this fucking three notes one more time, Imma murder him.”, said Barty from behind the drums. His boyfriend Evan just nodded in agreement and busied himself with looking at the notes one more time to make sure that he wouldn’t cause another replay for the whole orchestra. “What even is so wrong with how we play it?”, Emmeline from the tubes whispered to herself. “I don’t even hear a difference. Is he a sadist?”, commented Bellatrix loudly to no one. She clearly was looking for a fight.
“Are you ready? And Bellatrix, if you ignore the tempo and the volume one more time, we’re playing the piece again and again and again.” Benjy gave her the look that shut her up immediately.
Peter felt immensely proud of his husband. The way he handled the orchestra was not only endearing but also sexy. Some may think that being in the same orchestra as one’s partner and even playing under the rule of said partner was annoying and a problem but in reality, there was nothing that turned Peter on more than seeing Benjy in his element as a conductor. The way he gave orders, how he heard every single mistake and how he was just so smart about anything in the piece went immediately to Peter’s cock. Not only how Benjy behaved during rehearsals but his movements and just the whole package of him being their leader was so hot.
“Great. We still have a lot of work to do but for now it is fine.” Benjy said and ended the rehearsals.
Everyone hurried up while packing up their instruments and notes to get faster to drinking beer and enjoying the rest of the evening. While Peter packed up his flute, he thought about all the ways Benjy would fuck him tonight. It was a rather rough rehearsal so he either wants to blow of some steam or he wants to lay down while Peter either blows him or cuddles with him. Just the thought of the relaxing evening ahead of him makes Peter smile brightly.
“What are you smiling at?” Rita asked in her screeching voice. She’s so noisy but would never admit it. The thing with Rita was that you could talk with her and have a great conversation with her if you were aware of how crazy she was because then you could adapt to that level of craziness. If you were unaware, then Rita was just annoying.
“Nothing.” Peter mumbled which didn’t quite help him get Rita off his back. “This doesn’t look like noth-“ She started but was interrupted by her girlfriend Bellatrix.“What are you talking about?” She threw one arm around Rita’s shoulder, mainly to tell everyone that Rita was hers. “Peter was just smiling and I wanted to know the source of that smile but you interrupted me!”, Rita complained.
Peter started to walk away because he sensed that it was going to get messy between Rita and Bellatrix. “Excuse me that I wanted to check on my girlfriend!” Bellatrix exclaimed. Peter walked faster and could only hear the sounds of screeching behind him.
“Oi, Petey boy! What happened, did you didn't suck his cock long enough or why did he torture us today like he hasn't had sex for a week?!” Barty threw one arm around his shoulders, one glass of beer in hand and Evan right beside him.“Well, if you would just listen to what he says instead of doing your own thing, it wouldn't have been this torturing. Also, I recommend to practise.” “I recon that you both hadn't had sex in a while. Otherwise, you wouldn't be this bitchy. Rooting for ya, Petey!” And conversation ended. Barty leaned over to give Evan a kiss which ended up in a huge making out session.
Peter walked faster and made his way to the exit where he waited for Benjy to finish his conversation with Sirius, Marlene and Frank about an important trumpet solo in the piece. He looked so cute while talking about how he wanted them to play it and who should play which part. There was pure excitement in his eyes as he explained to them how he wanted it. It was so endearing to watch.
“Hey, waiting for your man?” Peter didn’t notice Emmeline sneaking up to him. She was now standing next to him, leaning against the wall with one beer in her hand. “Yeah.” Peter answered lamely. He never was good with keeping up conversations, so he just always hoped that the conversation was going to carry on without him having to carry it. Even with Emmeline who was his friend since childhood.
“He seems quite busy. I think you have to wait for a little while longer. Anyhow, did I tell you about Alice?” “Didn’t you go out on a date with someone named Alice?” “Yup.” Emmeline replied, taking a sip of her beer and scanning the crowd. “I went on a wonderful date with them.”
“Any problems? Do they like pineapples on pizza?” Peter asked mockingly. “Haha, no, you twat. The problem was not that they didn’t like pineapples on pizza. The problem was that they were two timing me. They are not really a person for commitment, so they dated me and this other guy for a while without me knowing.” “I take that you went out on more than one date. How did you figure out that they were two timing you?” Peter asked, now fully focused on Emmeline.
Her last relationship was a flop because the guy was the most arrogant and self absorbed person he ever saw, so now she tried dating again which didn’t seem to work. “I saw them holding hands and kissing in public, so I confronted them about it. They said that we weren’t in a relationship so they could date whoever else they wanted. Well, they said it nicer but that was the whole content of the conversation. I tried to explain that dating kind of is a commitment for me but that I respect their decision.” Emmeline took another sip of her beer. Suddenly, he felt two arms wrap around his waist.
“Hello, darling.” Benjy whispered in his ear. He planted his head on Peter’s shoulder, hugged him from behind and just rested there. Peter immediately melted into the touch but still focused on his conversation with Emmeline.
“So, are you still dating them?” “No, I told them that they should think about whether they wanted to be with me or the other guy, because I’m not someone for an open relationship. I haven’t heard from them since we had the conversation.” “Well, at least now you have your answer.” Peter tried to lift her mood even though he knew that it wouldn’t help at all.“Yeah. I think I’m gonna get drunk tonight and then look for a person with whom I either can share my sorrows or get laid. I’ll let you know whichever it is.” Emmeline said before pushing herself from the wall into the crowd.
“Okay, bye!” Peter called after her. He turned around in Benjy’s arms and gave him a quick peck on the lips. “Hey.”“Hi. Wanna go home?” Benjy asked. Peter nodded and they quickly bid their goodbyes before exiting the building and walking home.

I'm currently doing some learning in French and wow. Did you know that gai(e) in French means happy/cheerful/bright/lively? And you pronounce it like this: gay. GAY! So happy means gay, I mean gai.
If you want to say: That's great in French, you can say: c'est gai. And Ça va être gai means: This is going to be a lot of fun. WHAT! How can there be any homophobic French people if this word exists?! (i mean, yeah, it has nothing to do with religion etc. but it is funny)

I just finished reading 'Last Night at the Telegraph Club' by Malinda Lo and I'm fascinated by it. In general, I enjoy reading fiction written by authors of this century about the last centuries. It was so interesting to read how Malinda Lo combined racism and queerness. Like, she wrote about topics that happened often during that time and are therefore important to talk about. And reading about them in combination made the book really fascinating.
Most queer stories play in the 21st century but it is rare (I think) that someone tries to imagine how being queer must have felt like in the 50s. And it is so different from today. It is a total different level of homophobia. Today, people are more open about it and it is much more likely to be accepted than in the 50s for example. It was shocking to read how queer people were sent to therapy to 'cure' their sickness. I can't belive how people can be so narrow-minded and absurd.
The way Malinda Lo described it was extremely good and also accurate. I really enjoyed reading this book because we usually don't really realize that queerness existed even in the 50s. Really, I highly recommend the book.
As for the characters, Shirley annoys me. She is so arrogant and kind of self absorbed. I mean, sure, she acts like she's supposed to in that period of time but she also does not really care for Lily as much as she should. She doesn't even try to understand her.
At first, I thought there was something going on between Tommy and Lily but then I realized the age difference and I noticed the chemistry between Lily and Kath. My favorite moment was probably Will asking Lily out but Lily refusing by saying that she needs to help Shirley preparing everything. It was so hilarious, I collapsed.
It was so devastating to read about how Lily's mom and her whole family just ignored Lily's sexuality and even once she outed herself they didn't accept her as who she is and just continued as it nothing happened.
As a matter of fact, the ending does not satisfy me. It reminded me of Ziggy, Stardust and me because it ended quite similar.

I need a story where a musician falls in love with a musician. Like, they are in the same orchestra but play different instruments. Maybe they are 'rivals' and hang out with different musican groups. I'm fed up with the whole 'a jock falls in love with a nerd/a musician etc'. Can't they be both losers or only cool in their special field? Really, I don't decline a good jockxnerd/musician etc. but I'd like to read a story where two musicans fall in love.
It could be in the marauders fandom.
Like, I can see ravenrock (BenjyxPeter) on the sidelines (like not in centre but as support characters) as the conductor (Benjy) and as a clarinet/flute (Peter). Benjy ans Peter are the probably most grounded marauders ship because they are just so casual. Benjy is the most competent and would control the orchestra while Peter sits in the first row and just looks pretty but also has a complicated instrument.
Rosekiller would be either trumpet (Barty) and drums (Evan) or both on the drums. They are just so full of themselves and loud that they belong with the loudest (if the instruments are played in forte) instruments. Also, both of those instruments are the most insane and funny during practise.
Nobleflower (NarcissaxAlice) would be a bassoon (Narcissa) and Alice could be an artist (either singing or painting). Narcissa, because her parents forced her to play the clarinet but she hated it and switched to bassoon and Alice just gives a painter vibe or a singer. That's kind of just her personality.
Seaflower (DorcasxMarlene) would play the oboe (Dorcas) and the trombone (Marlene). In this ship, both of them are crazy and loud but Marlene is the loudest and most narcisstic one, so she has to play the trombone and Dorcas is equally insane but in a smaller and more quiet way, so she plays the oboe.
Wolfstar (SiriusxRemus) would play the trombone (Sirius) and the double bass (Remus). Sirius plays the trombone because he is the most narcisstic of the marauders fandom and has a big ego. Remus on the other hand is big and scary but really quiet and an introvert so he probably would play the double bass.
MaryLily(I don't know what exactly their shipname is, please tell me and educate me) would play the trompet (Mary) and the horn (Lily). Mary is just loud and funny and fills the room while Lily is more subtle but mean/funny/sarcastic with precision, she doesn't waste things.
Bellatrix and Rita would play the saxophone and the flute. They would annoy each other because they would compete who plays the loudest and Rita would be extremely pert while Bellatrix would lose her mind because she doesn't understand why Rita is like this but would seduce her at the same time with erotic solo parts that match her insanity.
Starchaser (RegulusxJames) would play the piano (Regulus) and the cello (James). Regulus just occasionally plays with an orchestra and is not really part of one but he really enjoys it. On the other hand, his mother might've forced him to play the violin and once he got away from her, he just couldn't get rid of the last bit of her so he continued to play it like a bad habit. James is a soft cellist because that instrument has a big and (for me) happy sound, so it practically creates James personality.
Pandora plays the clarinet and if necessary switches to either the Eb clarinet or the bass clarinet but only if the orchestra lacks of one of those. She just seems to be insane enough to always try new instruments because she gets easily bored with the instrument she already plays.
As for Xenophilius, I either imagine him as Pandora's supporter who doesn't play an instrument but cheers for her during a concert or he is one of the drummers because I can just imagine him there in the back, occasionally smoking during practises (while the window is open, of course) and still managing to play precise rhythms.
Emmeline could play the baritone horn or the tube. Because she's a strong bisexual and even though her body is rather small (compared to the males), the sound of her instrument is great.
Snape plays an annoying clarinet. He always colides with Sirius and James because he's too loud and too self confident to realize that he plays too loud even if he should play quietly.
Frank could easily play the tuba, the euphonium or a trumpet. I don't exactly know that much about his character but he would fit well into the chaotic group of trumpet players as the one that is the most mature? I don't know.
Anyhow, there would be a lot of relationship drama and Benjy would lose his mind to cope with them (of course there would be other players, they are a big orchestra) but it would still be fun. I'd really like to read something in that direction. If this already exists, can someone please give me a recommendation?

What about a platonic friendship? What about two friends that gave each other turtle doves to symbolize how much they trust each other?
What if those two friends have a fight over something? A fight about their feelings or someting mature like a lie or something.
What if they didn't reconcile after the fight and then went in different life directions?
What if they meet again after many years? What if the feelings are still there? What if they try to be friends again but decide that they can't? What if they decide that they are madly in love with each other? What if they fight again? What if they both found out that they still kept their turtle doves? What if the previous fight was a misunderstanding?
That's a story I'd really like to read. Does anyone know about such a story?

Elite (Season 7, I guess)
I'm done watching Elite. Literally done. How can every single character be fucked up? I mean, I have my favourites and then they get fucked up too?! Why, man, why? I need to ramble a little.
Look, I favoured Omar since the beginning. I rooted for him and he was the best when he was with Ander to he honest but why must the one gay relationship be such a dramatic situation? Sure, Saraúl wasn't better and even Dídac and Isadora had there drama scenes but the gay couples? Ouf, man, don't get me started.
Throughout the series we had OmarxAnder, AnderxPatrick, AnderxAlexis, PatrickxIván, PatrickxCruz, OmarxAnderxPatrick, OmarxJoel, JoelxIván and even some lesbian couples like MencíaxRebe (very grateful for that one, by the way, even though it didn't work out and went to nothing). My personal favourites out of those are AnderxOmar and IvánxPatrick. I so hoped that Patrick would make a comeback in season 7...
Iván is so confusing. Like, please, he didn't know what he wants with Patrick and he treated him like shit. No, correction, they both treated each other like shit. But they fit so well together. And now, in the new season, he's so forward with everything, I think Patrick damaged something. But I really like that Iván is doing the exchange because he has probably more space and time to think and process everything that has been going on. I kinda am extremely proud of him but also somehow sad that Patrick didn't come back.
Joel and Omar are/were a different thing than Patrick and Iván. They found each other at a time where both of them needed support. That way, their relationship was basically built on mental support which means that they had to be dependant on each other. Joel got kicked out by his parents because he's gay and Omar just lost his best friend. I still believe that they loved each other and I refuse to believe that their whole relationship was built on patching up open wounds for each other. But parting was still the best choice they could make. Nevertheless, the way they did it was very Elite and not very clear.
I think my favourite character in the seventh season is Dalmar. Like, this dude does basically all the work to pay the rent so that Omar and Joel can still live there and on top of that he has to deal with all their shit. He's so fed up and so, so done. Like, everytime he opens the door he has to fear to witness them having sex again. My man was so done with them, he really didn't understood what they wanted from each other (me neither, by the way). But, as every other character, he wasn't left unharmed, no, he has to be involved somehow. So that's how he ends up in the ending scene...
My other favourite character in season 7 is probably Sonia. She is so nice and also extremely wise and sympathetic. She didn't deserve the drama with Nico and I also didn't get why Nico hooked up with Chloe when he was in love with Sonia. I enjoyed the way she was involved but like, on the sidelines. She helped Omar with the app, had a crush on Nico, a few bonding moments with Chloe and eso es. Sonia was probably the one character Chloe could have been friends with because Sonia cared about her and tried to make her realize that she could be different. It was a real bitch move to hook up with Nico to spite Sonia, even though Chloe did it with good intentions.
Chloe was a really difficult character. I loved her confidence and I liked how her character had a deeper meaning. But I was furious at her for believing Raúl. I mean, Raúl? Come on, he's ugly, on the outside as well as the inside. Yeah, sure, what Sara did was not fair and incredibly bitchy but couldn't Chloe just blackmail Sara or burn down her car or something instead of hooking up with Raúl?! It was stupid and I hope the comments on the Internet just affected her too much and led to this decision. Without the harassement, she would've hopefully been smarter.
The whole (love) triangle of Chloe, Iván and Carmen (Chloe's mother) was a whole rolercoaster of emotions. It started with annoying, went to funny, to disgusting, to confusing and then to incredibly sad and murderous. What the fuck?! I mean, I get it, they couldn't just ignore Cruz' death as well as they couldn't just ignore the hit and run and Samu's death but damn, it did nothing.
And then the Romeo and Juliet thing with Dídac and Isadora. I still don't fully understand what was going on with that and how Rocío's mom was exactly involved in it but it was really confusing. I never knew when they were together and when they weren't. Like, are they pretending to fight or not? I mean, it was the right decision in the end but I don't exactly know what the purpose of it was.
Somehow, the series has lost its meaning. It all started with Marina's death and for several seasons, it stayed that way, always related to the death and to cover up some traces but then, new characters showed up (not that I complain) and the focus of the show drifted which is not necessarily bad. The last two or three seasons were kinda random, if I remember it right. The characters always were connected with each other and they always did bad things but the whole point was missing. There was not the same goal or the same reason, so it all just became random.
I don't know. The original cast will always be iconic to me but the new cast expanded the gayness which I highly support. Some things will never change though:
1. Samuel has always annoyed me. I mean, come on man, quit being the sad nerd playboy. You cannot fuck Marina, Carla and Rebeka and believe that you have nothing to do with the outcome of everything.
2. Ander and Omar for life! They were so real with each other even though Ander was sometimes a gay dude in denial with his cheating eras.
3. Mencía and Rebe will forever be a power couple. Two rebellious people thrown into a relationship? Yes, please. I wished it had worked out for them.
4. Iván and Patrick are the couple with the most drama. Like, please. They are so wolfstar coded and also so melodramatic, I can't. I love both of them so much.
5. Lu is the character with the most developement and my all time favourite (with Christian, Dalmar and Sonia). At the beginning, I kinda hated her but somehow, she became the most unbothered character and I started to like her.
6. The friendships in the series are sometimes so random. Samuel and Guzmán, Ander and Patrick (well, more friends with benefits) or Lu and Nadia. Do I have to say more?
EDIT: I just realized that Raúl looks like Luke Skywalker from Star Wars! Wow, this is so funny to me.
