I’m in love with the fact everyone is obsessed with sonder, but I do wish they’d give people privacy and not record them in public.

During my session with my psychiatrist, we've been unpacking my emotional trauma from childhood. She pointed out that since childhood, I was told to bottle up my feelings and the act of expressing them could lead to punishment. Which was so hard to hear but now I understand. Recently I discovered the concept of female rage and it has been surprisingly freeing—allowing me to express myself openly, especially expressing all emotions, irrespective of others' opinions.

I’m okay being the villain if it means allowing myself the freedom to be who I am

Something I’m going to try and teach myself is to always speak my mind and be that dramatic girl. Being quiet and reserved just means people think it’s okay for you to be hurt repeatedly because you can take it. No bitch, I want to cry and rip your hair off…. And I will don’t tempt me and I will watch the chaos unfold with all my glory.

For anyone telling you being silent is the classy thing to do or the grown thing to do they’re WRONG. You have to speak your truth, express yourself but make sure not to let the situation control you. The key is to express yourself once and only once. Make it clear, articulate yourself well and leave in a mature manner. That’s it. Not saying anything at all will cause you a lot of problems in the long run.

Take this advice from someone that allowed a man to slander her name for 2 years because I thought being silent meant being classy 😒 all it did was let people know they could walk all over me.

Hyper feminine, female rage, it girl, old money, sprinkle ✨sprinkle ✨, delulu and villain era, all have one thing in common, all women within these eras are treated with respect! And are able to find an aspect where they can express themselves without judgement. It’s sad it’s so obvious but yet people think it’s just a simple trend. We as women are literally screaming we want to be respected and loved. That’s it. (Of course the fashion aspect is obviously a perk and is also a way of us expressing ourselves)
