Insane, untrue, don't know why it even came to my mind?
Sera is the one with Alastor's soul on a leash.
Tumblr media
Here, I said it. Also reussing this frame, because her face is just 'cheff's kiss'. Although Emilie's face wouldn't be this happy hearing this one.
Had to get it out of my head, because if by the sheer miracle I get the twist of the show, I then will be able to say "GOT THEM" Here is the reasoning why I would think that:
Sera is the Machiavelistic character, without a clear boundaries not to break for a "greater good". She agreed for extermination, owning a soul isn't beyond her.
Can't tell that with certainty, but she seemed quite well informed about hell's business, in a sense that she never showed any sign of being taken a back by anything. Can be just her general personality, but take Vaggie coming to heaven with Charlie. Sera had to know she is a former exorcist, it's not rocket science, it would be perfectly reasonable to think she got informed an exorcist had been casted out. Yet she shows no sign of suprise to seeing her come with Charlie to heaven, like it's not news to her who is engaged in that project, like she has more sources of info that we know of.
She clearly mentioned "hell uprising". Extermination was one way to keep hell at bay, but it's possible she took more steps to ensure heaven safety, including espionage.
Now for Alastor:
This dude is not only one of the most powerfull beings, but also one of the most intelligent people in hell. Person above him has to be not only as powerfull as him, that person would also have to possess insane power to even have anything to offer Alastor that he couldn't possibly get himself (unless we go by my previous theory about Alastor deal, but these two don't exlude themselfes)
Right as I started listing points about Alastor, my playlist jumped to "Insane" :D
Alastor is weirdly protective over identity of his owner. Of course it's a reputation thing, he doesn't want his enemies knowing he can't control himself, but even to himself, he never says who he owns his soul to. Maybe part of the deal is that noone is suppose to know, because that someone doesn't want to be known for owning Alastor (which, let's be real, if anyone in hell owned Alastor, that person would spend all his time flexing that fact, I know I would).
Whoever owns Alastor is clearly letting him preety louse. As far as we know, the only thing the deal does, it makes Alastor weaker (unable to enter his full power), which would be weird for demon, but in character for an angel that wants someone on inside for specific tasks, not full time servant
Alastor immidietly upon arrival took down powerfull overlords. It's been played as him being crazy, but what if it was to break hell's power and create power vaccum to cause chaos.
Just when hell is emptied of most overlords, Alastor dissappears, then returns when it is once again under control of semi-fincional goverment of overlords (and right as angel dies in the extermination day)
Zestiel alluded that Alastor fell into "heavenly hands". Maybe someone saw Alastor dissappearing into angel's portal and this created the rumor.
Tumblr media
I won't really defend this idea, I know we have to little information for any definitive answer. We have at least two seasons to go and I don't even think next one will be the one to resolve who owns Alastor soul. But please, let me know, if I'm crazy, or IS this just as weirdly fitting both all plotlines we know so far and character we encountered so far as it seems to me. Follow for more crazy posts like this one.

What are Alastor's plans for Charlie exacly?
Tumblr media
How it started
Tumblr media
How's it going? Is it genuine? The hole fandom is discussing that question.
Let's be real, fandom really wishes it's genuine <3<3 I do too. But sadly, it just doesn't look that way. ˙◠˙ There are phew good analysis of Alastor manipulative behaviour thruout the show. But does it mean Alastor will betray Charlie and become the full blown villain in the future? Or manipulate her into givining up her soul for something and then the heroes will have to figure out the way to free her for her deal?
I propose another forecast. Depending on the perspective, it may be better or actually worse.
We know Charlie isn't dumb around Alastor. Neither in Pilot, where she openly rejected the idea of having a deal with him, but even in episode 7, when she makes a deal, I feel people are not giving her enough credit. She not only backs off despite being desperate, but she even pushes back and negotiates for herself, making it so her favour is not going to be about hurting anyone. I'm not saying she isn't warming up to Alastor from the first time she met him or that even with "You harm noone" rule on Alastor's favour it can't turn out horribly wrong, but if Alastor aims at getting her soul, he will have a hard nut to crack. And his acions don't seem to aim at it as much.
"She's filled with potential that I can guide, I concurr, stick with her, you'll be in on the winning side"
We know those lines from Alastor and Rosie, right after, with help of those two Charlie managed to inspire the army of cannibals to fight angels. ANGELS. Right until now it wasn't even really known angels can be killed/hurt, Charlie doesn't even know how to do it, yet she manages to make an army on the premise they gonna win with angelic army. She really rolled nat20 on inspiration with Alastor's help.
"She's bound to pass the test as princess of hell"
Alastor constantly inspire Charlie and helps her in her projects. Vaggie might be Charlie girlfriend, but Alastor is her right hand in the practical sense. He is the investor and main manager, supplying hotel with most of resources it needs. Only to get Charlie trust to strike in the best moment? Possibly. But I think there is more likely scenario: Alastor is not Charlie's enemy dressing up as a fake friend. Worse, he is her genuine advisor.
He doesn't want the figurative throne of hell for himself. He wants power and control, starting with breaking his own deal. In my opinion Alastor isn't the type to fight for recognition for it's sake. Reputation is important as a tool, not value in itself. As much, he is perfectly content to let someone else sit on hell's throne, if that someone is the person that considers Him as their right hand. And who's better than idealistic princess of Hell, that cares more about redeeming souls in hell than rulling over it.
In that sense, Alastor will not be another Adam to beat up. He will become to Charlie what Palpatine was to Anakin: parental figure advisor that potentially will make Charlie into another villain. Thats what I mean it might be worse than simple betrayal. If I'm right, we might see Charlie becoming the villain to defeat.
You might counter with "But Charlie doesn't want power, she wants to run the hotel and redeem sinners." And it's fair, she isn't greedy or powerhungry. But that's where Alastor manipulation might come in handy. Because there are good reasons for person wanting to change the world might need power and Radio Demon can convince Charlie she should "take her place as a heir to the throne". Even tho people need to choose to stay in Hotel, so Charlie can't force anyone there, that doesn't mean she can't take control over parts of hell that really doesn't help sinners in redemption. She might want to put down certain overlords for making deals, thus making it nearly impossible for some souls to get free. She might want to abolish drugs in hell, so people in hotel aren't tempted anymore, same with porn industry. Coming back to Star Wars reference, she might want to "bring peace, freedom and happy days to her hell". And all of that with support of very loyal Radio Demon, that will be running all errands in hell, when princess sitting on the throne is busy doing trust exercises with group of sinners in Hazbin Hotel.
That's what I think Alastor imagines, when thinking about "pulling the strings" after "guiding Charlies potential". Share what you think about the topic and follow for more.

Okay, that is FUN theory, Alastor does come off with a bit of Jack Sparrow in hell energy sometimes, so maybe...
ANOTHER unhinged idea but what if part of Alastor's deal is that he has to collect X amount of souls so the demon who owns his soul can consume them and be powered up enough to rise and attack Heaven AND Hell (I said this before once when wondering about if Eve was the contractor and she wants revenge on everyone involved).
BUT Alastor doesn't want to hold his end of the deal, which is why all the deals we've seen him do so far don't involve taking souls; in fact, we've seen him steadily refuse to take souls (Vaggie's deal, Charlie's deal, Rosie telling him about a piece of territory being a good chance to strike deals).
Maybe he's scared of what could happen if the other demon actually gets freed, which is why he wonders if "the constrains of his deal surely have a back door".
(Of course this all implying his deal was made after he himself became an Overlord and so already owned Husk plus others; or perhaps he had his deal from the beginning and just stopped when he was getting too close to the goal).

Which way will Sera's character go?
Tumblr media
Emily's face seeing Sir Pentious in heaven is, well, heavenly.
Sera's, not so much.
I can't wait for next season, as what she will do next will probably define the character of Sera and whether or not she will be a villain of this story. Will she accept the horrific truth that extermination she agreed to was terryfing mistake? Like in this fan-song "Heaven is changing, so I need to change with it too."
Or will she hide the fact, maybe push Emily down and refuse the idea of redemtion?
You see, I think there are still things we are yet to uncover regarding Sera's character. For how little screentime she had, one trait is very clear regarding her: She is the kind of character to take the harsh truths onto herself and make hard, machiavellistic decisions behind everyone's back in order for other to sleep peacefully. And I think she has phew more ace's up her sleeve, if we can call it that. She is one of the oldest angels, one of first. And she was keeping heaven peacefull for thousand of years, she probably made phew harsh decicions in her carrer and is aware of facts only handfull of other know.
She mentions that Hell was "uprising" as a excuse for extermination. Angel should not fear demons in this universe, unless Sera knew already that angel's can be hurt. We might learn that Sera agreed to extermination, because she was aware that hell could actually invade heaven and decided, that making sure hell never has the numbers as the decision.
She also says "Not everything is spelled in ink.", when discussing who gets to heaven and who gets to hell. Maybe there is something she also knows regarding that. Remember, she was there before Evil was even released onto the world, she might be aware of something others aren't.
Those two things have to adressed in future seasons. I actually really enjoy Sera's character, this ambivalent, machiavellistic ruler. I also have a crazy theory regarding her, but I will leave it for other post.

The mindset of Light Side in Star Wars
Tumblr media
This frame is possibly the clearest image of how Jedi win their fights.
But lets start from the beggining.
Tumblr media
Recently it hit me how little of the actual force is in the Original trilogy of Star Wars. Let's see first movie:
Ben firstly makes his iconic "These aren't the droids you are looking for"
Luke stops the bolts while covering eyes
Vader chokes snarky admiral
Ben feels the destruction of Alderran
Ben's body dissappears
Luke shots down the death star
No flashy effects. No jumping, no pushing people around. Up until a finale, it seems Force is nothing special, trickery of sort, something to overlook. Until it proves Vader right: "The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force." and destroys the said Death Star, exploiting the very weakness that, althought the weakness in theory (planted intentionally according to new canon) shouldn't really be an issue, as it required miracle to work. And Force brought the miracle.
That's how Luke destroyed the Death Star, marking his first highlight of his road to become the Greatest Jedi in the Galaxy. But how would Sith come about destroying the Death Star?
Well, I say, if there was another Sith in the Galaxy, that dude would probably gather resorces and slaves and build his own Death Star, but bigger and deadlier. Or looked around Sith teaching and spells to become strong enough to crush it with his mind. Because that's how Sith mind works. "Unlimited POWER!!!" is their goal. When they see someone opposing them, they thing how to overpower them.
The Dark Side is "easier, quicker, more tempting". Because it's natural. Because Luke does exacly that, when he trains. He focuses on his strenght. Because his goal is to defeat the powerfull Empire. So he needs to become powerfull himself. And that is an invitation for dark side to enter the mind. The same way it entered the mind of his father.
Anakin wanted to gather enough power to save those he loves. And because he was also wronged by Jedi enough times not to trust them with his pet parrot if he had one, he was open to other advice. Don't get me wrong, power is sometimes an answer. But it should never be a goal.
That's the mindset Luke enters his fight with Vader. And he can't do a crap. The Dark Lord is to powerfull to overcome with strenght.
Jedi don't do that. Jedi deals with issues. Jedi helps others out. And in the process they learn and make friends. That's what Jedi wins with. Patience, wisdom and allies, not with power.
Every greatest victory of Jedi over Sith or any other villain is about Jedi bringing the miracules to life. Jedi always win when dark seems the darkest. Because that's when pride of villains comes full circle. Small things left behind gather together, teaching of mentors, friends and happy coincidences combined create the victory for good guys.
When Obi-Wan cut's Maul with a sword Sith forgot was lying there.
When He cuts his former apprentice legs off, because Anakin couldn't accept, that even he isn't all-powerfull.
When Ezra brings Purgils to fight, the one thing all-knowing, genius strategist had no way of predicting.
When Luke managed to break thru the mask of hate, inspiring his father to do the right thing in the most crucial moment in Star Wars history.
When on Endor, army of Empire fall under the invasion of literall teddy bears.
When Kanan, with no fear to cloud his mind, focused on simple tast of defeating Inquisitor, realised the sword that striked so much fear for how inventive it seemed, turned out to be extremely vulnerable.
Jedi don't gather strenght. And Jedi story is definitelly not about gathering the power of spirits or whatever to enhance the hero into overpowering the villain in the final showdown. Jedi win by performing small miracles here and there, patiently waiting for evil to dig it's own grave and then giving it just a little push with help of friends they made on their way.
That is the story of The Jedi, the greatest heroes Galaxy Far Away ever saw.

A show left behind
Does anyone had this thing, where you stopped watching something and it was a "quilty pleasure" thing and now you kinda feel like you want to see this again, because show went forward and story unfolded, but at the same time you kinda don't want to come back, because it had a real flaws to begin with and you were kinda looking past them, but you're worried you won't be able to look past them again?
Yea,

Attention to details, people
Tumblr media
I love how even if it wasn't the main part of the show, but some easter egg put in the backround (for example running on TV, while characters do anything else) by examining the picture you can tell Alastor made that poster
"Haha I named it"
"NO TACKY CIRCUS DECOR! I PROMISE" Even before meeting Lucifer, Alastor was already pissed at him ⸨◺_◿⸩
"Best part" arrow to the radio tower :D
"Ship! I quess" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That's the attention to details that everyone loves in the artists loving what they do.

Alastor made a deal while he was still alive?
Tumblr media
"MILD SPOILER'S ALERT for Hazbin Hotel"
Alastor is one of the main party in show Hazbin Hotel, extremely powerfull and cunning sinner doomed to live in hell. He is an icon among a hole fandom with his smile, unique voice and silly attitude. Phew big and little facts about him were served for the viewers thruout the first season of the show. He was taking down overlords of hell to fill his broadcast, he has a beef with Vox and he dissappeared for seven years before the pilot episode. Tons of theories about him sparked around the internet, manly about his connection with Lilith, but the most prominent question, who owns his soul? I'm not gonna answer that one, but I have a small theory regarding that.
Let's look at phew facts about Alastor:
He was in hell no longer than for a hundred years, yet he managed to build a legend almost immidietly, as it's said he was recognized as "extremely powerfull newcommer"
He is on someoone's leash, yet he is an owner of phew souls himself, enough to land himself a place among overlords
His powers resemble Voodoo, especially with marks and the way shadows do his bidings when he wants
Voodoo, or actually Hoodoo magic, is closesly tied to making a contact with spiritual world on earth. And because for what we know, Alastor came to hell already OP beyond anything hell saw until then, if we assume his magic is at least part of what makes him so powerfull, then we must assume he learned this magic while still alive.
So you probably know where this is going. Does it answer much? Probably not that much. But it would be a fun fact. I imagine a human Alastor performing phew rituals and summoning a demon, probably Lilith and making a deal for something.
It could also be made into a great subplot of what even made Alastor evil in the first place. Maybe he practiced magic with good intentions and was twisted later? Maybe he was trying to save someone from illness that medicine couldn't deal with?
Or maybe he was cruel chaotic bastard from the start and just wanted more power with dark magic.
