SON OF EX-CHANGI AIRPORT GROUP, CONVICTED FOR LYING TO JUDGE. Karl Liew Kai Lung, the son of former Changi Airport Group chairman Liew Mun Leong, was sentenced to two weeks' jail by a district court on Friday (Apr 14) for lying to a judge when his family's maid was on trial for theft. Karl, 45, pleaded guilty last month to one count of giving false information to a public servant, by lying to District Judge Olivia Low in the trial of Ms Parti Liyani. A second charge of giving false information to the police about finding 119 pieces of clothing belonging to him in boxes packed by Ms Parti was taken into consideration.
