"There are three recognised species of Stegosaurus – S. stenops, S. ungulatus and S. Autumnus. With its huge back plates, long tail spikes and teeny tiny head, Stegosaurus is one of the most distinctive dinosaurs we know about. Given its stocky build, Stegosaurus had a tiny head, one of the smallest known relative to the size of its body. Its braincase was around the same size as a dog's and you could probably hold its brain in one hand. Researchers believe its small brain meant that complex behaviours were unlikely."

It's favourite season was Autumn. One of the reasons autumn enchanted the Stegosaurus was the appearance of a particular type of mushroom known as the "twedy." These cute mushrooms dotted the forest floor, their caps displaying a kaleidoscope of colors. The Stegosaurus took great delight in discovering these whimsical fungi, with their vibrant hues ranging from pale pinks to deep purples and brilliant blues. Some mushrooms even boasted intricate patterns, resembling tiny pieces of artwork. The Stegosaurus would gingerly sniff at them, reveling in the earthy scent that wafted from their caps.

As the Stegosaurus lumbered through the autumn forest, their majestic plates seemed to glow in harmony with the changing foliage. Leaves cascaded around them, carpeting the ground in a mosaic of colors. The Stegosaurus would pause, their tiny eyes twinkling with wonder as they watched the leaves twirl in the breeze, creating a mesmerizing dance. It was as if nature itself celebrated the arrival of autumn, putting on a spectacular show for all who cared to witness it.

The Stegosaurus dinosaurs reveled in this magical time, basking in the beauty of nature's transformation. They would gather in small groups, their plates reflecting the warm hues of the autumnal sunlight, and roam through the forest, savoring every moment. It was a time of peace, tranquility, and a deep appreciation for the wonders that surrounded them.

As the days grew shorter and the air grew colder, the Stegosaurus knew that winter would soon arrive, bringing a different kind of enchantment. But for now, they embraced the splendor of autumn, cherishing the adorable twedy mushrooms and the vibrant trees. And as they bid farewell to this golden season, they carried the memories of autumn in their hearts, eagerly awaiting its return in the cycles of time.

There’s a protest going on against AI art over on artstation, so I feel like now is the time for me to make a statement on this issue! 

I wholeheartedly support the ongoing protest against AI art. Why? Because my artwork is included in the datasets used to train these image generators without my consent. I get zero compensation for the use of my art, even though these image generators cost money to use, and are a commercial product. 

Musicians are not being treated the same way. Stability has a music generator that only uses royalty free music in their dataset. Their words: “Because diffusion models are prone to memorization and overfitting, releasing a model trained on copyrighted data could potentially result in legal issues.” Why is the work of visual artists being treated differently?

Many have compared image generators to human artists seeking out inspiration. Those two are not the same. My art is literally being fed into these generators through the datasets, and spat back out of a program that has no inherent sense of what is respectful to artists. As long as my art is literally integrated into the system used to create the images, it is commercial use of my art without my consent.

Until there is an ethically sourced database that compensates artists for the use of their images, I am against AI art. I also think platforms should do everything they can to prevent scraping of their content for these databases. 

Artists, speak out against this predatory practice! Our art should not be exploited without our consent, and we deserve to be compensated when our art is exploited for commercial use.

Portrecik, który zrobiłam już jakiś czas temu, ale ostatnio w przerwie pomiędzy robieniem zadań na uczelnię postanowiłam dodać do niego kolor. Ten styl kojarzy mi się z ilustracjami z polskich książek fantasy, które kiedyś czytałam. Koleś z rysunku mógłby być jakimś rycerzem albo typem spod ciemnej gwiazdy, który łoi piwo w knajpie i patrzy na Was spode łba. Rysowanie tego sprawiło mi dużo przyjemności i chyba to widać 🌞

Crying is an important mechanism that allows us to release stress and emotional pain. Keeping difficult feelings inside can be bad for our health. Feeling anger is also a completely normal part of being human. All the negative emotions tells us something and help to understand ourselves better so let’s not be ashamed of it.
