So i recently started to reach out to Apollo, it very new to me. The past couple of weeks i would say that i didn't really feel Apollo's presence and maybe me reaching out to him and offering things seems like a waste of time but i think if i can really look at little things i see in a day maybe he has been sending signs. Things like the sun in the morning as soon as i step outside its there in my face. Or sometimes ill be in a buliding and the sun will shine brightly though the windows. My desire to want to learn about him more, wanting to research or consume any media with him it. My need to keep adding to his altar. Finding motivation to draw for him the other day about months or losing all interest in it. Buying Citrine without knowing the stone is sacred to Apollo but it just reminding me of him. Being on the bus and seeing a door with a sun in the glass just the little things that i will look over but could be him. I dunno maybe Im reading to much into it but i like to think they are signs....
He watched in awe of the girl, through her rage she has managed to pull apart so many of her keepers, black ink like subtance pulsed under her skin in little waves and he knew he was dealing with something more than the force.
Homer: I chose to focus on Achilles dragging Hector behind his chariot in my composition of the Siege of Troy as a meditation on the horrors men commit when consumed by grief and rage.
Alexander: At long last I have re-enacted the war crime of my hero Achilles from the poem That Time Achilles Did Some Really Fucked Up Things and Learned Better.
Offerings for Apollo, the Greek god of the Sun, Music, and Poetry…etc.
1: Music related objects. Since he’s the god of music, music related ANYTHING will work as an offering. Time to break out those old 2016 vinyls you bought and never used because you remembered you couldn’t afford a record player!
2: Art related things. Not only is he the god of music, but also art. Paint, oil pastels, or even PENCILS could work.
3: poetry. Yeah, this is self-explanatory.
4: Archery stuff. Own a bow and arrow you never used? Use it as an offering, Apollo will love it.
5: Frankincense, Laurel, Apples, Hyacinthus or Cypress. These are ALL things he represent.
6: Your own art of things he represents. Highly recommend. He also represents dolphins, lions, griffins, and swans.
7: Anything golden in color. Seriously. Own some gold hoop earrings? Trust me, he’ll take ‘em.
8: Depictions of the sun or anything related to the sun and light.
9: Golden cakes. Yummers.
10: Orange juice. Or any yellow juice, actually.
11: Yellow Jasper and sunstone. If you saw my Selene offerings post, you should know what to do with these. Use them in prayer, or blessing your tea!
this...kinda just started with me trying a new brush i made, also yes that text in the panel where Vader is kneeling doesn't fit with the tone of the rest of the comic, but alas!! I apologize for the wonkiness
