Writing parts to my fanfic between sets at the gym because I'm sad and putting myself through hell stimulates my brain and gives me serotonin.

Not that I'm ever going to be able to afford a house in this market, but I hate when people repaint everything white before selling. The grey/white scheme makes it look like a hospital and no one wants to live in one full time.
I know you can paint, but some color in these houses would make it seem like a happy looking house.

I had the same thought the other day. I'm just imagining people showing up unannounced to find him gone (because he's obviously at Padmé's) and trying to hunt him down because they need their holo tablet fixed or their comm unit is stuck in huttese and they can get it out.
I think even funnier than Anakin being a Big War Hero is if he was like. The Temple’s resident tech guy. Cal or Kanan find out who Darth Vader is and they’re like ‘the guy who reset my password???’

A snippet from a Vader & Leia father daughter fic
It's a rough draft though.
At first, he thought he was hallucinating and ignored the soft whisper of the Force that wrapped around him.
Then it became more insistent, an itch he could no longer ignore as it probed the back of his consciousness. He turned abruptly on his heel, cutting the captain off in the middle of his report, and followed the call off the bridge. It was annoying, at first, an unpleasant buzz as he got closer.
When he got to his private wing, it changed to the sound of someone singing. The voice in the Force wasn't unfamiliar, either, stoking the rage that still burned in his chest as he remembered his childhood. He extended his stride, storming towards a doorway, gripping it with the Force and ripping.
Leia jumped, sending tools and assorted parts flying in all directions as the Sith Lord barged into the workshop she had holed up in. She swore, briefly ignoring his presence as she fished for the parts of the scanner that Tsabin had given her during her visit planet-side. Vader's faceplate snapped to what she was grabbing for, holding out a hand and summoning the crudely fashion mechanism to his palm. He studied it, sneering, "Attempting to contact the Rebellion with this, your highness?"
"No," she snapped, her eyes burning into his. It was eerie, how she was able to do that, he thought briefly, like he couldn't hide. She crossed her arms, "Not like you would believe me anyway, but it's a scanner."
"I can assure you that your room is not bugged," he snarled, tightening his grip. The small motion had her to her feet, almost panicked, "but I can arrange for that to change."
"Slave chips."
He looked at the device, almost dropping it in shock. He looked back at the princess, seeing the righteous fury burning in her eyes, "There is no such device."
"You're holding one," she said, the Force confirming what he refused to believe. "One of many, but my friend said that they've encountered a new type, one that it can't read."
"Prove that it works."
"On what?"
Using the Force, it floats to the surface before her, "Put it back together."
He watches, Leia occasionally glaring up at him as she puts it back together. When it's assembled, the wand-like device beeps as it turns on. He pulls it from her hands, waving the wand across his torso and watching the lights flash red. Leia's face pales, her eyes widening in horror. He tosses it back, "There is validity to your claim."
"Lord Vader," she says, looking like she wants to run as her horror seeps from behind her carefully shielded mind, "that means the chip is active."

Finished reading "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes".
1. Glad Snow and Baird didn't end up together. The small, still romantic part of me wanted them to, but I loved the Hunger Games in high school and I never liked Snow to begin with.
2. Wow, the Hunger Games was super shitty at first. Not that the idea improved by the time the 74th reaping came, but wow.
3. I love the mystery of Lucy Gray disappearing. While I'm glad Snow/Baird wasn't end game, I really like to imagine that Katniss ends up being his secret, long lost granddaughter.
4. The Hanging Tree- the first time I read it in Mockingjay to seeing it's origin in BOSBAS, I wonder if he had a panic attack hearing Katniss sing it during the propaganda thing. The past coming back to haunt him.
Overall super happy, glad I took the time to read it. Now, it's time to read Murtaugh (or finish it, since my brother by law has returned it to me)

"She's not the princess who needs saving, she's the warrior who needs a place to rest between battles. Be her home, not her hero."
-some video reel I saw on Instagram.
I went from having a good time, to feeling like my heart's been ripped from my chest. I have met many a man who promised to be a home, but wanted to be a hero.

I started The Last of Us as something to watch while I'm running at the gym. I finished the second episode and thought, let me just treat myself to a third episode while I'm folding clothes before bed.
I... I wasn't ready.

Chapter 14 Excerpt:
Rey’s whole body ached by the time her TIE dropped out of Hyperspace for the last time around the gas giant, Yavin.
It had been a long trip – days, she believed – but she wasn’t sure exactly how much time had passed since she’d left the Devastator. Regardless, she was anxious to stand up and move around a bit. She couldn’t wait to get her feet on solid ground.
The moment she spotted the jungle moon of Yavin-4, Rey flicked on her comms array, and hailed the Rebel base below.
“Attention Yavin-Four, attention Yavin-Four,” she began. “I am a friendly scavenger, in an unfriendly ship and armour. I’m looking for a safe place to set down, and a negotiator to help sell my wares.”
The only response was a soft hiss over the comm.
Read on AO3 from Chapter 14.
Read from the beginning.

I am the eldest daughter of a man with no sons.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to date when you were raised to not need a man?
I'm a single mom and if I had a dime for every man who thought I needed them as a "provider", my kid would have a college/trade school fund that overflows. I just want companionship, not someone who will take care of me.
