BORN INTO THE SEVEN'S RULER OF DEVILDOM
I was isekai'd to a world in a book. The title was "Kristin in the Harem of the Seven Demon Lords." Like its title, a human named Kristin was brought to Devildom against her will and had to survive through the temptation of the seven demon lords, who were brothers and avatars of the seven sins.
The seventh brother, Belphegor, the Avatar of Sloth.
The sixth brother, Beelzebub, the Avatar of Gluttony.
The fifth brother, Asmodeus, the Avatar of Lust.
The fourth brother, Satan, the Avatar of Wrath.
The third brother, Leviathan, the Avatar of Envy.
The second brother, Mammon, the Avatar of Greed.
The first brother, Lucifer, the fallen angel, the Avatar of Pride. My father. The one who succeeded in seducing the human Kristin and impregnating her.
I was in shambles with the ending. Lucifer had kicked Kristin out, banished to the swamp and died giving birth. The baby survived and was named Leilel by Kristin, and that baby is me.
I'm Leilel Morningstar, the child of Lucifer.

Chapter 8 --- The Demon Brothers Part Two
Mephistopheles strides toward the student council room, humming to himself. After the Cerberus Breeding, he's been busy with his admirers and celebrating with the Royal Demons from the House of Lords. It has been a busy and fantastic week. Best of all, he will always boast about it to the Demon Brothers.
Mephistopheles smirks, knowing Lucifer is in the Council Room. He grabs the doorknob with a demon head on the double door when he hears Lucifer's voice.
"Lami, that swamp demon,"
Mephisto stopped, listening closely with his sensitive hearing.
"She's in Satan's cursed class," Lucifer said. "Apparently, he's gonna try to make Levi curse her with a truth-telling spell."
Mephistopheles's eyes widened. Then he heard the second voice belonging to Mammon.
"Heeeeh~~ He's that determined, huh? At least with this, we get to know-"
SLAM!
Mephistopheles slammed the door, his face flushed crimson. Lucifer was sitting with his back against the door, while Mammon leaned on his chair with his feet up, his head tilted back, a frown creasing his face.
"Oi, eggplant-head! Don't ya know how to knock?"
"Mephistopheles, how pleasant of you to show up, did your ears become too deaf to hear our conversation?" Lucifer said with a smooth voice. As Mephisto marched toward Lucifer, he banged the table between them.
BAM!
"How. Dare. Youuu..." Mephistopheles hissed.
Lucifer glared. "How dare I?" Lucifer asked back, standing from his chair, looking Mephisto eye to eye. "How dare you keep this new, low-born demon a secret from Lord Diavolo, the demon who knows the Cerberus Breeding? What makes you think this demon will not be under our radar?"
"Because she is MINE!" Mephistopheles shouted into Lucifer's face. Lucifer did not falter as he stared down. Mephisto leaned in to hiss with intimidation. "I’ll deal with her, no matter what she does, what she knows, it is mine to concern about!" Mephistopheles slammed the table, making Mammon put his feet down. "You brothers are not allowed to touch her in my presence! Got it?!"
Mammon looked at Mephistopheles with a thoughtful expression, his lips lifting up in a smirk. "You know, this is the first time you've gotten so obsessed over a demon, Mephistopheles."
“Same goes for you,” Mephistopheles retorted. Mammon's eyes widened. “Don’t think I don’t know what you brothers think of her.” Mephistopheles smirked as Mammon and Lucifer gloomed, an intimidating shadow looming over their faces as Mephistopheles continued. "If you brothers put this out, then every demon will remember Lami the low swamp demon. But Leilel will just be a demon no one will remember."
A golden lightning and thunder boomed inside the council room. Mammon turned into his demon form. “YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!”
Mammon slammed the table so hard that it cracked into two. Lucifer watched, standing still with perfect placidity. Mammon had his head bowed, exhaling sharply. Mephistopheles stared at the table and Mammon, quietly gulped down his throat, a regretful look crossing his face before he concealed it. Then he turned away, walking out of the room without closing the door. He needed to go get Lami before Satan.
Mephistopheles took a peek behind him toward the council room. Mammon was sitting at the chair with his head bowed down, and Lucifer was staring down at him with no expression.
That demon, Mephistopheles could never provoke him, even with the mention of his own lost daughter.
What a demon, despite being an ex-angel.
Mephisto continues his way to Lami cursed class and found he was too late. Satan had confirmed. His a bit dissapointed to himself that he didn't went faster. Mephistopheles took her away. He look down at the girl in his hand, following him to his office. She look so small and pale, like death had caught into her.
Mephistopheles exhale, pushing his bang front.
Leilel/Lami's POV
....
I can't think. Nothing. Nothing comes to mind except every worst-case scenario that could happen next. Satan was curious enough about me to force me to spill the truth with a curse. What's next? Will Lucifer himself interrogate me? Will they realize something about me? Will Asmo find out my real eye color that has a similarity with the twins? Will Belphegor enter my dream and hunt me with my true identity? There are so many negative thoughts flooding my head; I feel like falling asleep.
"Lami!"
I gasp, realizing I am already in Mephistopheles' office, sitting on his couch with a blanket over my shoulder.
"Drink this," Mephisto says, sitting beside me and offering me tea. "It's Hero's Herbal Tea; it'll calm you down."
I quickly take the cup and drink it in one sip. I can feel Mephisto staring at me, but I don't care. The drink quickly works, silencing all the negative thoughts and sounds. My body feels relaxed, and my heart stops racing.
Aaaah, now that I can think...
"What are we supposed to do?! They know me! They KNOW!" I stand up from the couch, pacing around the room. "Ooooh... This is what I fear the most; now they're going to keep bothering me until something happens!" I exhale, feeling like I'm losing my breath. Yes, one way or another, they will notice something about me—my identity, my likeness to Lucifer, or Kristin. Anything that could link me to Leilel. I look at Mephistopheles. "How—how did they, DID YOU TELL THEM?!"
Mephistopheles looks distraught. His hand sweeps through his hair, his front pony falling back. “No. Before you accuse me of anything, Lucifer saw you enter my office."
"That can't be!" I say back. "He was in collosum when I went. Do you think I'm stupid enough to let myself out in the OPEN?!"
"Alright! Alright!" Mephistopheles stands from his couch. I flinch, realizing my voice was too loud. Mephistopheles sees how scared I am and opens his mouth. I turn my back away, wanting to cry, to go back running to the swamp where my Blops are to comfort me, to protect me, to love me.
What should I do? Should I risk myself out there? It's only been the first week, and I've already got Lucifer watching my back. The anxiety is pressing me down, like tall walls closing in on me. I can feel my breathing getting shallow; my lungs are constricted. My whole body shuts down to the sounds surrounding me. Only the beating of my heart.
Deg. Deg. Deg.
"What if I make you my jewel?"
Deg.
I whirl around to Mephistopheles, my eyes probably as wide as saucers. "Whaaat?"
"You do know what it means, right?" Mephistopheles says with a smug smile, hands on his hips. "It's the same as sponsoring a potential demon. You'll have monthly income, you get to do important work from the House of Lords, and you'll live like the upper-middle-class demons..."
Of course, I know what it means, you stupid purple-head DEMON!
For lower demons, becoming a Lord's Jewel is very honorable. They have more freedom, stability, and privileges. But... That would also mean the demon is now their master's property.
Diavolo did the same to Lucifer the moment he fell down to Devildom. There's this whole flashback plot about it, told by one of the angels. What was his name? It was from S!
...Samuel? No.
...Si-Simeon!
The angel was an enthusiastic author; he wrote the whole story like a theater play and called it "Princess Diavolo and Prince Lucifer."
...Never did the fallen angel imagine such a destiny awaited him at the end of his long, long life as the pride of the Celestial Realm. His sister, Lilith, was dead, and Lucifer was left to suffer through life in hell.
But Lucifer overcame his sorrow, transforming into a demon, dedicating his body and soul to Princess Diavolo, while bringing sadness and misfortune to people everywhere for all eternity.
That includes my mother, Kristin.
Mephistopheles' mouth hangs open, stunned by my words. He stutters for a moment before yelling. "WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM? A PEDOPHILE?! I MAY BE A DEMON, BUT I HAVE MY OWN DIGNITY!!!"
"A shiver runs through my body as I cross my arms across my chest. 'No way! I am not giving my body! NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!!!'"
"DON'T YOU DARE! I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A JEWEL! DIAVOLO AND LUCIFER DO!"
"I THOUGHT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE A GOOD INFORMANT! NOT A GOSSIP DEMON! I'VE HAD DEMONS DO THAT! AND I CAN TELL YOU LUCIFER AND DIAVOLO DON'T. DO. THAT!"
Mephistopheles and I stop, breathless and tired from our yelling and shouting. We just stand there, face to face, annoyed at each other.
Mephistopheles sighs, rubbing the side of his forehead. "Listen. You want me to protect you, well, here it is." I pout, crossing my arms. “Lucifer is a careful demon. He doesn’t trust easily, especially a new demon. He was suspicious as to how you gained the information.”
“But—!”
“I know!” Mephistopheles interrupts. “That’s how that fallen angel does; he makes everyone miserable. Please, don’t worry,” Mephisto steps toward me, closing our space and takes my hand. I flinch as his white-gloved hand holds mine. But I don't move to let them go. I look up at Mephistopheles' determined eyes. “I promise to protect you from those wannabe demons, and I shall.”
I hold my breath. Something in Mephisto's eyes as he smiles at me. It's not demon-like in the way he looks. My chest flutters in a weird way. It freaks me out as I pull my hand back. Mephistopheles lets me.
"Is being your jewel really the only way?" I ask. Even with the promise that Mephistopheles wouldn't touch me, I will still belong to him. A demon's property, and that scares me.
Mephistopheles exhales a long sigh, looks away in thought. "I'll think of something else."
I sigh with relief. At least he's being considerate. I nod my head and walk toward the door. I can't stay here any longer. Not just because I have class, but I just can't be with Mephisto right now.
"But Lami," Mephistopheles calls out to me as I grasp the doorknob. "Please, just think about it." I sense his presence closing in on me, so I turn back and see his hand extended toward me. "While then, here's a D.D.D so you can contact me."
I stare at the case, then at Mephistopheles, wondering about the catch. He seems to read my mind and rolls his eyes.
"For Diavolo's sake, you're part of the RAD newspaper! Every demon is given a new D.D.D for job purposes only."
Oh.
...That doesn't seem too convincing. But I accept it; I don't want another argument with him. Mephistopheles puffs his chest, satisfied, then opens the door for me. I nod and run down the hallway, never looking back.
I arrive at the main hallway where all the demons have just gotten out of their classes for lunch. I walk between the crowds, making myself small and invisible among them, keeping myself alert to my surroundings, spotting any blonde hair in the midst.
I am scared to encounter Satan. He's a demon hungry for knowledge, and that knowledge now includes me. My whole body shudders. One way or another, he’ll find out my secret!
I somehow manage to get out of the crowds, standing against the walls of the cafeteria. I exhale slowly, closing my eyes to meditate. When I open my eyes...
“Fuuuu-AGH!!!!” I step back. The demon brothers are in front of me!!!
“Geez, scared much?” Mammon asks with a smirk, enjoying my reaction.
“Anyone would've been surprised when a group of demons showed up in front of them,” Leviathan mumbles.
"Hi, Lami," Beelzebub tilts his head. "Hmm... Now that I look at you, you're really small." I gulp. Now that we've just a few steps away, Beel looks really, really large compared to me.
“My, oh my! You are a cutie for a new poor swamp demon!” Asmodeus pops out from behind, all excited. I step back, the demons follow. “Now, now, Lami, don't be afraid. Come here~”
Oh God, please kill me now.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
Unfortunately, I didn't die. But I did become their errand lunch boy. Again.
“Lami~~ I'm hungry~~” Asmodeus sang, waving his hand. I gave a forced smile while balancing trays of food for the demons. I put the tray down a bit harshly.
“Cupcake, sandwich, candy, hamburger,” As I put the food in order, without saying thank you, the demons eat. I glared and turned my back.
“Oi! Where ya goin'?” Mammon called.
I gritted my teeth. “Lunch?” Mammon pointed to a chair beside him. I shook my head. “No, please-”
“Sit down.” Mammon commanded, challenging me to disobey. I clenched my fist and did as I was told. The chair scraped the floor as I slid some distance. I felt his eyes on me. “Not gonna eat?” Mammon asked. I shook my head. I’m too tense to eat.
Asmo laughed. “Ohohoh, you are such an adorable, petrified little demon.”
I closed my eyes tightly. Another recall from the novel, about Asmodeous. Diavolo inviting all the brothers and Kristin to stay at his castle. When they were touring the grounds, Kristin and Asmo were dragged by a living picture that led them to the castle's underground labyrinth.
Kristin and Asmodeous fell hard to the floor, with Kristin on top of the demon. As Asmodeous became aware of Kristin pressing him against the floor, the demon shouted, "Hey! Get off me, human!" Asmo elbowed Kristin, hitting her shoulder. Asmo stood up while Kristin sat on the floor. Asmodeous looked annoyed, gritting his teeth at Kristin. "Grrr! What if you had injured my face, huh? What then?!"
Kristin cried out when Asmodeous grabbed her chin roughly, threatening her. "You're gonna have to pay it twice with your face!" Asmo gave a devious smile, eyes shining with a predatory gaze. "I'll make sure to give a scar on every inch of your face!"
Kristin felt his finger slowly digging into her cheek; she hissed in pain.
“Don't worry, little mouse,"
"Asmodeous!"
I gasped as I returned to the present. Asmo was smiling widely, eyes gleaming like what the novel always described, filled with amusement and wickedness.
"We're not gonna eat you,” Asmo said, taking a bite of his cupcake. “We're interested in you.”
I gulped down my throat, feeling cold sweat on my forehead. Oooh... Maybe I should've asked Mephistopheles to accompany me. I tried to find him in the midst of the students, but he was nowhere to be found.
“Yeah! I mean, there hasn't been for a millennia, a new demon comes around being the most talented, smart, and powerful like you, dear.”
“Don't call me dear,” I quickly said. Asmo gasped, putting his palm on his heart, if he has one. "And I'm not that powerful." Hopefully, this confession would be enough to get him off my back. Instead, Asmo threw his head back like a dramatic queen.
“I am offended, everyone loves me calling them dear!”
That's all he cares about, huh?
“That's only because no one ever complains, Asmo,” Leviathan commented, chewing his comfort candy on the side of his mouth.
Asmo gasped. “Everyone loves me calling them dear! Especially if it comes from the most beautiful demon of-”
“So, Leilel, how is RAD so far?”
I turned to the demon of Gluttony, his cheeks stuffed with a hamburger. “Um, it's alright,”
“Have you tried RAD hamburgers? They said they duplicate the human world hamburgers. They're really delicious.” Beel gulped down his food. “I'm not gonna share mine.”
The burger does look exactly like the human world. But their cheese is molded until it's all green, the greener, the better. That's what these demons said.
“Why ask her that?” Leviathan asked.
“You wanted to go to the human world, right?” Beel asked. My eyes widened at his question. I nodded. “We've been to the human world, once in a while. Belphegor is up there right now.” I almost screamed asking him what he was doing. But I held my tongue. “Hey, maybe next time, we could take Lami too.”
...What?
WHAT?!
Mammon spoke. “Oh yeah, we could use a servant up there,” I looked at him with wide eyes. “What? Last time Levi went up there, he had a panic attack, and none of us demons could go up there to help him.” He turned to Levi, who was flustered and red.
“I, I, I was!” Levi groaned, biting on the candy. “What can I do? Usually, my most precious best friend would be up there with me!” Levi began to cry. I scrunched my face, confused by the constant change of mood. Asmo patted Levi on the back.
“There, there,” Asmodeus sighed. “We know.”
Why do they all look so gloomy? The demons were quiet for a moment. Then Beel spoke.
“Yeah, see, I could use a good demon to take care of Belphie up there,” Beel suggested.
I think I'd rather stay here than go to the human world with them. My hands clenched at the edge of the table, and I asked, “Why me?” The demon brothers looked at me with curious eyes. “Um, there are other demons who could help you, and I'm a new demon. And Lu-Lord Lucifer is still keeping an eye on me-”
“Duh~ Cause you're Mephisto's lackey,” Asmodeus chuckled, shaking his head. “He can't hide such a precious demon from us." Asmo leaned forward with a smile. "And... It's hard for us demons to trust each other, you know that already, right, Lami?” His eyes slanted, a dangerous evil smile. The aura around us turned heavy. I felt all the demons stare at us with the same menacing look.
I closed my eyes and answered, “Of course, it's a demon's nature.” Asmo smiled, eyes closed. Then the atmosphere returned to normal.
“Alrighty! You're Levi's babysitter for his next trip!” Mammon exclaimed, pointing his finger at me.
My mouth gaped, and I protested, “What?! But! I haven't even said yes!”
“Yeah! What made you decide?!” Luckily Leviathan complained as well.
Mammon put his hand at the back of his head and leaned back. “Ya said ya wanted to go there, and Lucifer ain't allowing ya, right?”
Levi groaned and grunted. “Fine! She'll do!” Leviathan slanted his orange snake eyes. Like the snake had found its new target. I shivered. “Listen! I don't do well with normies! So, what is your favorite anime?”
Oh, uh. I felt sweat all over my forehead. There was a scene where Leviathan questioned Kristin about otaku stuff. When Kristin couldn't understand, he downgraded her to the lowest depths of hell.
“I never ever watch anime or any graphic novels,” I said honestly. Leviathan gasped and was about to say something when I cut him off. “I'm a poor swamp demon, never had access to the internet or TVs, so it's natural I don't know any of them.”
Levi's eyes widened, and he shut his mouth, pouting his lips. He groaned, rolling his head. "Give me your D.D.D."
"Huh?"
"Are you deaf, newbie?" Leviathan snapped. "Or you don't have it?!"
I'd just gotten it from Mephistopheles. But there's no way-!
"Here it is!" Mammon lifted his hand with my new D.D.D.
Since when did he... Damn it. I forgot Mammon had a nimble-fingered. "Hey!" I shouted, but they ignored me as Leviathan looked through my phone.
"Ugh, this D.D.D is so last five hundred years," Leviathan yucked at me. My mouth gaped. How was I supposed to know that? Leviathan continued playing with my phone, mumbling about what apps he was downloading, the best movie websites, games, etc. Then he exclaimed about a character named Rura-chan. Mammon had to scold his brother to stop his nonsense.
Leviathan had a satisfied smile. “There! You'll find all of my apps for movies, series, novels, comics, and games that you could want. At least you won't be too normie for me to keep around up there, so make sure you try them all! And give me feedback!” He handed back my D.D.D.
I stared at the D.D.D. The only thought in my head was to burn this device and tell Mephistopheles it got broken. For now, I’ll just pretend to agree with this and find a way out. I nodded.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
I collapsed onto the bed in my dorm room. I hated feeling anxious all the time. My heart was racing all day it may stop at any moment now (I wish). My whole body exhausted beyond words. I really-really wishing my soul will leave my body.
Why couldn't those demons just leave me alone?!
Exhaling heavily, I rummaged through the thick jacket, cursing the uncomfortable design of the uniform. Cursed demons! They must have deliberately designed it to torture the students. After a few tries, I pulled out the devil's given, the D.D.D.
Glaring at the smartphone, part of me wanted to throw it away, fearing Leviathan might cursed it or contain some surveillance device. But this was my first smartphone, and it felt like a waste to get rid of it.
So, I sat up on my bed, grabbed some hexes and cursed books, and cast spells to detect anything suspicious about the phone. To my relief, nothing unusual was detected. I then turned on the phone, and a black crow character appearing on top of the screen with magical 3D-like effects, similar to an AI assistant in a smartphone.
"Hello, I'm Karasu, your D.D.D. personal service," said Karasu. I pointed my finger at Karasu.
"Ye shall not lie!" I commanded, and Karasu stayed still. I proceeded to ask, "Tell me everything that is in the D.D.D, anything suspicious first."
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
The next morning...
I can't believe it.
I'm late for class!
"Today is Botanical class, and it's an outdoor one! Damn it! How could I forget?" I ran through the RAD hallway, keeping my head down, feeling ashamed.
Last night, after checking the D.D.D, Karasu showed me a movie called "The Seven Lords." I had read the book but never the movies. I got engrossed and ended up watching the sequel, and then another, and another. Then morning came, and I slept through my alarm.
I groaned as I went outside into the vast courtyard square. There were no students or teachers here. They must've gone around the building for the class.
"UGH! Where could they be?!" I ran across the courtyard to see if any classes were being held elsewhere. The only possible places - the courtyard or the garden located at the forest at the back of RAD's school.
I arrived at the back gates of RAD, which led to a forest. I gulped nervously. Damn it, of all places for a class. I had no choice but to go in. I opened the gate and ran inside. As soon as the shadows of the forest covered me, I looked down.
There were clear rocky paths, and I followed one. I didn't look up, afraid that ghosts might be lurking in the trees. Then I took a right turn and just kept running. The rocky path became wider, and when I looked up, I gasped.
It was a giant, half-round glass dome. The dome was so tall it surpassed the trees in the forest. This must be it. I entered the dome, my feet stop in a halt and I gasped astounded.
The plants in Devildom were either ugly, beautiful, dangerous, or cursed. Most trees were dark green, making them look creepy and haunted. All of them had lingering ghosts. In contrast, the plants in the human world were fresh, greener, and had vibrant colors. Even the oxygen they produced was different between the two worlds' plants.
And now, I was looking at human plants in this giant dome!
"Oh my goodness! A palm tree! Sycamore! They're so huge!" I was in awe of their grandeur. The sweet scent of the oxygen filled my lungs, and it felt so good. It feels like I'm right in the human world park.
...
But how were these plants surviving here?
...Why was I here now?
Oh no, my classes! I looked around, but there was no one in sight. Were there no students here?
"Hello?" I called out as I ventured deeper into the dome. There was a sound resembling a waterfall. When I arrived, there was a small pond with a waterfall, shrouded by palm trees and plants, like walking into paradise. It was a beautiful sight. I looked closer at the pond. There were no fish in the water. I also spotted a small bucket meant for bathing. What is this place?
I felt strange and wanted to leave. But my eyes caught something. I circled around the bath and found a field of tall green and blue grass.
Wait, it’s not grass. I plucked one. The spikes had buds and flower petals, and the sweet scent coming from the bud was familiar.
"Lavenders? But, there's no such thing as green lavenders."
I held my breath as another memory from the novel came into my mind. Lucifer had allowed Kristin to play his piano. Devildom pianos are cursed, their keys made from the teeth of desperate, failed musicians, and they bite talented pianists. That is why the owner of the cursed piano must introduce the other player to avoid being bitten. This scene was when Lucifer introduced Kristin to his piano.
“Do you know whose this was made?” Lucifer asked with an evil smile. She shivered, whether out of fright or something else.
She gulped. “No,”
Lucifer chuckled and said, “Daniel Steibelt.”
Kristin gasped, “No way! That Steibelt?! The one who challenged Beethoven only to be humiliated?!”
Lucifer laughed. Kristin felt like her heart was being strung. His laugh was so deep and free. It was the first time she had heard him laugh like that. Lucifer smiled. “So you’ve heard of the man.”
“I’m interested in music history.” Kristin looked away, shyly.
Lucifer hummed, amused by her reaction. “Yes. The man was full of pride, thinking he could defeat the greatest composer of the century, only to tumble down in humiliation and loss of dignity.”
Kristin stared at Lucifer. He had this evil grin as he imagined the fall of the human being. Kristin shivered. She needs to be careful around this demon.
“Did you make the man indulge his pride?” Kristin asked. Lucifer laughed again, her heart flutter again.
“I never made any man indulge in sin. They choose it on their own.”
He pulled her to sit on the stool, gently putting her fingers on the keys. Kristin hesitated for a moment. Lucifer gave her a gentle squeeze. She let him guide her to a few keys and play a few notes. After a moment, no teeth came out to get her. She played it. Lucifer let her go, allowing her to play the tune. She made out a few tunes.
Lucifer asked her if she could sing. “Huh?” Kristin gasped, her face turning red with shyness. “Um, I’m not quite good.”
Lucifer frowned at her lie. “Well, sing,” he ordered.
“Huh?! What?!”
“I let you play my piano. At least the least you can do is play a song.” Lucifer showed his smug look at her while she glared. “Come on now. I’ll even let you sing any song you want.” He crossed his arms, waiting for her.
Kristin stared at him and sighed in defeat. “Alright,” she licked her lips and started playing the tune from the top of her head. The melody came out like a lullaby, then she sang.
Lavender blue, dilly-dilly,Lavender green
When I am king, dilly dilly, You shall be queen
Who told you so, dilly dilly, who told you so?
'Twas my own heart, dilly dilly, That told me so
Lavender's green, dilly dilly, Lavender's blue
If you love me, dilly dilly, I will love you
I returned to reality. That song was called "Dilly-Dilly," Kristin's favorite song. She sang it as a disguise for her confession to Lucifer. It was one of the romantic scene that I come to like about their relationship.
As I read on, I became wary and angry. The end showed the true Lucifer Morningstar, just a demon playing Kristin and me as a reader. He stir our hearts and throws them away like garbage.
THUMP
...Hmm,
By the way, why is there lavender described in the song? There's this thing called Acid Lavender, but they're supposed to be dark purple, not green or blue. As if some demon deliberately made these lavenders according to the song as a joke or...
My heart sank as I felt the presence behind me. Somehow, I knew that whoever was there emitted a heavy and menacing dark aura. I turned around and shrieked. The demon before me had dark hair, glaring red eyes, and a threatening voice.
"What are you doing here?" Lucifer demanded.
I trembled, and my legs gave way as I fell onto my butt. Stammering, I replied, "I-I was...l-l-looking for the...c-class."
Lucifer's eyes narrowed. "The botanical class is on the left side of the forest," he said in a low, dark voice, his expression unchanging. He leaned down, his eyes showing anger. "You're ruining my garden."
Did he say his garden? I looked down, realizing my body was sitting on the lavenders. My mind went blank with fear.
"I'm sorry!" I bowed on my knees, head down, hands at my sides. "Please forgive me! I didn't mean to! I'm sorry!!!"
The silence was deafening. I was now facing death. Lucifer wasn't known for forgiving when it came to something that belonged to him. My thoughts wandered to how he might torment me. The novel had mentioned Lucifer's favorite pastime is recording his victims' screams for later enjoyment.
This was it; I was facing death. He might even discover my true identity, and then I'd...
"Get out. Now."
His words were the answer to my prayers. I quickly stood up, dashed past him, and kept going without looking back. The dark forest no longer scared me; my destination was clear. I exited the RAD building, passed through the Devildom village, and headed back home to the swamp.
I was out of breath, my heart pounding loudly in my ears, my legs wobbling, and my body shaking. Then I heard a familiar, weird laugh. When I looked up, there was my cottage beneath the moonlit sky. Green and Pink were giggling to each other, Purple was sleeping by Red while munching on food, and Blue was scolding Yellow and Orange as they chased one another.
My feet moved, out to the open field and Blue noticed me, waving his hand with a smile. My wobbly legs finally gave out. I fell to the ground.
"KJNEJKNJKEN!!!"
"JHBEUYEBB!!!"
"KHETETYEEHU!!!"
My guardians surrounded me, providing their invisible strength and helping me sit up. My face and body were covered in dirt, and my tears made my face itch.
The Blops panic and hold me. Pink pulled out a handkerchief and wiped my tears, Blue placed his tiny hand on my cheek and looked into my eyes.
"Kejeuheube?"
Blue was asking me what happened. Soon, all the walls broke through. My vision was blurry from the tears flowing. "Hic, Blue, I-I met him," I sobbed. "He-he-he was so-so scary."
Blue hugged me in the face as I held onto his tiny body. My guardians kept holding me, and I wailed out loud as if my life depended on it.
End of Season One
Tadaaaa... Didn't expect that, huh? Eheheheh.
Don't worry, I've got the second season ready. I've had this story for a year and I've planned all of it. I just need to really, really shorten it because I originally had it planned for at least five seasons.
Ahahaha! I don't know what's wrong with me. I just have so many ideas and stories to share.
I hope you all enjoy it so far because the next season will be much harder for Leilel to come through with more plot twists!!! Thank you so much for following the story this far.
See you again soon!

Born into the Seven Ruler's of Devildom

Chapter 7 --- The Demon Brothers
"Agh! I lost!" Levi exclaimed to his PSP.
"Yo! Lami! Hurry up!" Mammon called out.
I clicked my tongue. My feet are sore for standing in line too long. Walking back with my hands full with three lunch trays, trying to keep them balance. I must look ridicilous.
The good news is, Mammon hasn't figured me out. On the other hand, he's making me his lunch errand. At least they didn't order Carina to do so. They must be trying to gain her favors before dropping her off like garbage. That'll probably happen in a month or less.
I almost wobble at my feet as I arrived at their table. "Here's your TBL sandwich," I said to Mammon and Carina sitting side by side. Carina said her thanks. "Rainbow pizza?" I asked Leviathan who is sitting across, responded with a quick nod. I glared and put his rainbow pizza down. I sat down beside Carina.
I had hot spice slappy dragon meat. I savored my food, not feeling hungry. It was so uncomfortable to be sitting between two demons who hurt my mom and would do the same to me. My stomach was in knots, and I would've thrown up if I could.
"Agh!" Levi banged his PSP down. I almost choke when he fixes his gaze on me. "What's the swamp demon doing here?"
Excuse me? Who brought your pizza, sir? I kept my thoughts to myself and resumed eating.
“Levi! Don’t call her that; her name is Lami!” Carina scolded.
"Hah! Bet you she’s a normie," Levi says, taking a bite of his pizza, his eyes narrowing like a snake as if I'm the most disgusting thing in the world. "All normies look the same, boring."
I clench my hand. Leviathan is an avatar of envy, with a sharp tongue like a snake that would make a prideful man belittle themselves in a minute. He did the same with Kristin, just because she's a 'normie'. The first time they met, he was all mocking and saying mean words to her.
"Do you realize what just happened? Mammon sacrificed you to get away from me! Agh! Can't believe Diavolo let a dumb human live with us!
"Don't follow me! What would happen if someone saw me with YOU! A human who doesn't even look like an otaku, a DISGUSTING NORMIE!"
Leviathan pushes Kristin, his demon strength making her fly across the entrance.
*BANG!*
"KUGH!" Kristin's back hits the door, enough to knock the wind out of her lungs as she coughs from the impact.
Since then, Kristin had always questioned her self-worth, going as far as becoming an otaku like Leviathan by watching one of his favorite shows, The Seven Lords. In later chapters, Kristin gets to know the author that made Leviathan so jealous that he attacked her.
"I won't stand for this!" Leviathan mumbled, his eyes slinted behind his overgrown purple hair. "All you did was stay up one night marathon-ing the DVDs. And YOU'RE the bigger TSL fan than me?!"
An orange glow blasted through the room, causing Kristin to blink her eyes for a moment to see Leviathan in his demon form.
"I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIIIIS!!!" Leviathan's scream shook the room. Kristin was frightened and turned her back away.
Kristin shouted, "Mammon, hel—agh!" She felt her foot caught in something scaly. It was Leviathan's tail. Kristin screamed and she heard Mammon laughing.
"Come on, human, run! Try getting out of there! Ehehe," Mammon taunted, enjoying an ice cream with his brother Beelzebub.
I stared on my food as I went back to reality. Everytime I see the brothers, I can only remember the bad stuff.
Carina once again tried to defend me. “I’m sure Lami knows a bit of anime. Do you, Lami?” she asked, smiling brightly at me.
I looked away, ignoring her. Carina let out an ‘ah!’ of surprise. Leviathan laughed. “Ahaha! Knew it, I can smell a normie from a mile away.”
Ignore, ignore, just ignore it, Leilel.
“Shut up, Levi.” Mammon complains. “It’s not like Lucifer told ya to keep an eye on these two."
I choked on my meat, gasping for breath. "Ugh! Kogh! Uhuk! UHUK! UHUK!"
“Lami! Are you okay?” Carina asked, and I felt her patting my back.
"Oi, oi! Stop with the coughing! It's noisy!" Mammon complained.
I reach for my glass of water and drink. I gasped in relief, then I looked at Mammon in disbelief. "What-what do you mean by that?"
Mammon raised an eyebrow, leaning back with his arms behind his head. "Just making sure you're not the kind of demon who'll bring trouble for Lord Diavolo.”
I blinked confused. Then, I looked at Carina. Her eyes wide, playing with her fingers. “Oh, um, maybe it's because the other day we were discussing how Mephi-hmp!” Mammon closed her mouth with his palm. But I was sure she was saying Mephistopheles' name. Is this about the Cerberus Breeding warehouse? Was Lucifer suspicious?
"Hey." Mammon called, standing up from his chair and looming over me. I sat back in my chair, gulping down my throat. "If you do something suspicious," he chuckled, his voice low, carrying a hint of threat. "Things will get ugly, newbie."
I felt cold sweat on my forehead. My head was shouting for comfort. Don't worry, don't be afraid. It's alright. They don’t know.
Mammon sat back with a smirk. "Got it, newbie?" he asked, his teeth flashing. I gave a quick nod.
"Well, well, greeting my lords~"
I turned toward the voice. My eyes widened at the group of demons. Behind them was the demon who attacked me last night. I looked away, head down. My hands on my lap and their trembling. My whole body went to shut down.
"What do you want?" I hear Mammon asked the group.
"Nothing from you, Mammon. We just need to talk with this newbie,"
I felt someone touch my shoulder. I stood up from my chair, distancing myself. The group followed me.
"Whoa, hey, no need to be scared, newbie," the leader chuckled. "Just want to talk after what you did to my friend here." He pointed to the demon at the back, the one who attack me. He chuckled and licked his lips.
A chill ran down my spine as I stood frozen, like a deer caught in the headlights. The demon must have brought a group because it didn't expect my magic last night. I didn't even know how to use it, and now facing a group? What a coward.
"U-um, what-what do you want with my friend?" Carina asked, looking frightened at the group. The demons just glared down at her, the immense stare terrified her, and she bowed her head down. I glanced at Mammon and Levi, looking disinterested at us.
Of course. No one in this school will defend me. I'm only a new demon with no title, money, or name. I grabbed my wrist with Mephistopheles' seal on it. I don't know if it'll work, but I have to try.
“Fuck off.” Mammon suddenly stood from his chair, blocking the leader from me. My jaw dropped.
“Mammon.” The leader hissed.
"I said fuck off!" Mammon suddenly shout. "Lucifer asked me to keep an eye on her, and that's what I'll do until he's bored!"
Is that really a valid reason? What's wrong with him?
The group leader glared at me but decided not to fight it. "Very well." He luft his hand in surrender, turned back to his friend, and they were arguing.
I gulped. I'm sure they wouldn't let me go this easy. I want to go back to the swamp, now.
"Mammon!" Carina exclaimed, standing from her chair and hugging Mammon's upper hand. "That was amazing; did you do that for me~~?"
My jaw drop again. What the hell? What is she doing?! What the hell is she talking?!
"Argh! Let go of me, human!" Mammon glared, pulling her arm and made her sit back in her chair. She let out a loud 'uf!', staring up at Mammon with disbelief. I rolled my eyes at the girl. What is she thinking? Did she really think Mammon did it for her sake? Really.
Though I don't know why Mammon defended me with such a weak excuse. If he wants to watch me, he doesn't need to do this. Then another surprise happens,
“Hey, wait a minute!” Mammon called for the demons again. He pointed to the demon who molested me. “What happened with you and the newbie?”
The demon in question stepped out of the group and yelled. “That bitch attacked me! In RAD’s dorm! She needs to be punished!”
The crowd began talking behind me. I could hear them snickering, cursing me.
What's worse was Carina staring up at me with disbelief and asking. "Lami, what did you do?"
My eyes widened at her question. The demon who molested me told her lies. That I attacked him first after coming back from detention. I clenched my hand, anger filled me. But my tounge felt like being held back, I can’t talk. What’s wrong with me?
The demons murmuring behind me getting louder and pressuring me. As if I'm the guilty demon. Hah.
“Oi, is this demon sayin' true?”
I look up at Mammon, the demon who asked me, the only one who seems to see through all this nonsense and genuinely inquire. Somehow, I summon a little strength to shake my head. But that's just it. He probably doesn't believe me anyway.
“Huh! I ain't lying!” the demon reached his hand toward me. My body can't move, I didn't do anything but stare at his disgusting hand.
BANG!
My eyes widened and I gasp. The demon face was shoved into the table, destroying it, with Mammon’s hand holding him down.
"KYAAA!!"
“Aaargh!!! WHAT ARE YOU…?!”
"Shut up." Mammon pressed the demon’s head, and he whimpered. His so-called friend stood still, looking amused. They seem to only care about their own amusement.
Levi snickered at the sight. “Mammon, Lucifer gonna be mad at you for destroying another RAD property~~”
“Whatever. This guy tryin’ to molest her, even Asmo hates this kind of thing.”
I blinked at his claim. No way. He's lying. Asmodeous is an avatar of lust. I've read all kinds of humiliation and harassment he did to Kristin. There's this one scene where Mammon and Asmo went out shopping, and he made Kristin run half-naked in the store. It was so embarrassing when I read that part.
"Ma-Mammon!" Carina stood from her chair, touching Mammon's shoulder. "Let's-let's all calm down-"
"Get away, human!" Mammon shouted at her, Carina stepped back. Then Mammon looked at me. “Oi. Ya wanna do something about this guy?”
My eyes widened, and I looked down at the demon, immobilized and weak. I absolutely have no idea why Mammon is helping me, serving me the demon who abused me, haunted me all day, on a silver platter. A new sensation overwhelms me. Shivers run down my spine as I look down at the demon. I no longer feel fear. But a chance, sweet chance of revenge.
“I have an idea.” I reached for the demon. He struggled for a bit, Mammon crashed his head again. The table could split. Suddenly Carina grabbed my wrist, I gasped and looked at her wide-eyed.
Her eyes were begging, telling me. "Lami, no."
I narrowed my eyes on her. How dare she? How dare this human say no, when she had no idea what I have been through. I pulled my hand away, but Carina wouldn't let me go. I had to slap her hand away with my other arm, telling her to back off. Carina looked at me as if I'm the most evil creature in the world. Well, I am half-demon. So may as well act like one.
I put my hands over his head and chanted a cursed spell. A purple glow flowed from my hand to the demon's head, Mammon let him go, letting him fall to the floor. He wheezed, shouting at me. “What did you do??”
I stood still and watched as it unfolded. The demon started to shake uncontrollably, terror settling in his eyes. Then he grunted, his cheek bubbling, holding on to his stomach. He threw up.
“Iuuu!” Mammon stepped away, kicking his shoe off.
The demon crawled in his vomit, looking wide-eyes at me with fear. He gasp, wobbling to stand on his feet and ran for the hills. I smirked and looked over at his friends. They just watch me, surprised.
One demon chuckled, saying, "Nice show, newbie," then turned their back and went their way, not caring for the demon I cursed. They must've followed him just to get a show of him torturing a low-born demon like I am.
I exhaled and sat down, exhausted. At the same time, I was satisfied. I chuckled and shook my head. I never felt this way over someone’s misfortune. Could it be genetic?
“What did you do to him?” Leviathan asked.
I looked at Leviathan and answered proudly. “Reverse trauma spell.”
Leviathan snorted. “Wow, Satan must’ve loved to see that.”
Ah man, did his genetic satanic pass through me?
"How could you do that?"
I heard Carina say that to me. I was going to reprimand her when I felt something hit me on the side of my head. "Ouw!"
It was Mammon who karate-chopped me. "What are you doing? Clean this mess and get me some water!" I blinked as his reversed attitude. "Black soda! My mouth's all dry defending you, so get moving!"
Ah, now this is the Mammon I know. I sigh and stand up again. "Yes, sir," I saluted and went away to clean the vomit and get Mammon’s soda.
End of Leilel's POV
Mammon watched the newbie walk away. Carina remained silent. Then Levi spoke. "You know, she's not her."
Carina looked up, wondering what he meant. She glanced over at Mammon, who was leaning back in his chair, arms crossed. "I know that," he replied.
Levi frowned and cross his hands. "You know you haven't paid me back!"

Leilel's POV
Just two more days until the weekend. I'll be home in the swamp, in the cabin with my Blops. I can't wait to vent to them all that happened: the anxiety, Mephistopheles, the demon who almost molested me, then I cursed him (Green and Blue will be so proud). And Mammon.
It just happened yesterday. It doesn't make sense for Mammon to defend me. There must be a reason. I did a little pry on him. Maybe he does know I'm Leilel and is trying to capture my heart. But all I got was a scold.
"Cause Lucifer told me to keep an eye on ya!" Mammon shouted, his finger poking my nose. "I only got two eyes for this stupid human and you! So don't trouble me, newbie!"
Then he ordered me to get another wolf sandwich. I had to wait in line and get into another fight for the sandwich again. My left shoulder is bruising.
Carina didn't talk to me after that. She didn't even look at me until we parted ways. I didn't care. As long as she leaves me alone, that's fine. If she wants to play saint in hell, that's her decision. I'm not here to be a saint; I'm here to escape. And I'm gonna make it.
I stop in front of my next class for the day, curse class. I gulp down my throat. The teacher for this class, was the fourth Lord, Satan. Words from the novel came into my mind.
“I will not help you!” Kristin argued. As soon as the words came out, a thunder-like sound inside the room made her scream.
Satan, the avatar of wrath, turned into his demon form. His face was full of anger. “You can't seriously reject me? You, a Human... REJECT ME?!”
In that scene, Satan was attempting to strike a deal with Kristin that would annoy Lucifer. This, of course, put Kristin in a tight spot. She went to his bedroom to refuse. Satan, as the demon of wrath, naturally grew angry and cursed her with pain every time she refused.
Her body jolted with electricity, rattling her bones and making her head spin and heavy. Kristin tried to breathe, but the magic seemed to restrict her lungs as well. She fell to the floor of Satan's room.
Satan loomed over her, a scowl on his face. No matter how painful it was, she still refused. Satan gritted his teeth. "Listen well, human! If you dare to say that you won't make a deal with me again, you'll pay for it with your-"
The door slammed, and Kristin found a tall man standing in her way. Lucifer. "Enough, Satan," Lucifer snapped his fingers, lifting all the curses within Kristin. She breathed deeply into her lungs. She stayed on the floor as Lucifer blocked her with his cape. "Kristin is our guest, whom Diavolo invited as part of our exchange program. I won't permit you to lay a hand on our exchange student."
"You-you'd actually step in to defend a human?! I had no idea you were such a sweetheart!!!"
I think after that, Lucifer and Satan somehow switch souls in their bodies? I don't remember. But I do remember the arc of this novel. Kristin made a bond with Lucifer, thinking that he might be genuine in her life. When he had other plans for her. Satan was only a minion in Lucifer’s plan to seduce Kristin. How come every time she’s in trouble, Lucifer was always there?
Satan is a demon who enjoys finding someone interested to play with before he devours them, much like a cat. All I need to do is stay low, keep everything to myself, and avoid standing out in his class. Easy peasy.
Maybe I said it too quick.
"Hi Lami!" Carina waved her hand at me.
I almost bit my tounge. Why is she here, acting like that? Not to mention sitting behind her are, Leviathan and the Gluttony demon, Beelzelbub!
"Hey, let me introduce you to the second student exchange, Mathieu!" she points to the pale boy with glasses. He yelped when I was only staring at him. Carina patted his back, convincing him to introduce himself.
"Hel-hello, you-you're Lami, yes?" Mathieu asked, fingers trembling as he fixed his glasses. I nodded, and he shrieked like a girl. It's understandable; he must be so frightened to be between demons. Mathieu gulped down his throat, sighing. "I'm Mathieu Winthrop, I'm actually a professor in the human world."
"Oh? What did you teach?" I asked.
"Eheheh, you'll be surprised," Leviathan suddenly said, who is sitting behind Carina. "Say it, Math."
Mathieu gulped down his throat. "Anthropology in... Religion,"
I blinked, a bit surprised. "Wow,"
"Despite his field, Mathiue didn't believe we were real." Beel said. My mouth open in 'oh'.
"LOL! LOL! I should've recorded your face the first time you arrive, you kept saying, 'this isn't real, this isn't reaaaaaaal! AHAHAH!" Leviathan laugh his eyes welled up with tears.
"Yeah, you were so pathetic back then," Beel comment with a straight face.
Mathiue bite his lower lips with wet eyes, holding back his cries. "I-I only want to get my third degree through this school so I... I didn't think..." Mathieu's lips trembled. I looked at him, feeling sympathetic.
Yeah, he's never gonna get that third degree. Just dead, probably, if the demon brothers are feeling merciful.
"Awww, come now, Mathieu." Carina stroked his back. "We're only going to be here for a year! Didn't you say you'll get a far deep research about demons? It's enough to get a quick thesis for your third degree in the human world,"
If you survive. I kept the thought to myself.
"Anyway, Lami, since you're so kind, maybe you can help Mathieu with an interview on how you've been living as the lowest demon in this realm."
My eyes widened at her statement. That's mocking, right? I glanced over at Leviathan, who was snickering in delight, while Beelzelbub just... stared. The novel mentioned he lacks expression. Carina smiled at me as if she didn't realize how insulting her words were. Is this what she's doing now, playing the mean girl? I stared at her, realizing what she truly is.
A bitch.
"Hey."
I turned around, and there at the teacher table, was Satan. "Class is about to start; take your seat." He gestured to the available seat. I nodded and sat the furthest away from Carina and the others.
"Alright, class," Satan began. "Since we have two humans present, I will explain a basic curse. All curses have the same qualifications, but different requirements in terms of the type of spell you're performing, the magical power you possess, and most importantly, how creative your mind is."
Satan continued his lecture as I mindlessly wrote in my notebook.
"Um, um, Lord Satan?" Mathieu ask a question. "What is this type of spell, Liliam?"
"Ah, Liliam, is Devildom's most ancient language," Satan explained. "It's another qualification to perform a curse. Whether or not you possess mana, you'll be able to create a powerful spell. Even breaking it requires speaking the language. Using Liliam could also enable you to control low-born demons and ghosts."
"Can you speak Liliam, Satan?"
"Of course I can. After all, the language of Liliam is something that cannot be taught. It is gifted directly by the heirs of Devildom."
"Oh yeah... that was after the Demon King assigned our sins, right?" Beel said.
"LOL! LOL! We don't even use it that much!" Leviathan exclaim. "What a useless language, hah!"
A few demons glared at Leviathan, but didn't say a word. Satan scowl at Leviathan, shook his head and continued. "All Seven Lords can speak Liliam. In addition to us, there's Barbatos, Mephistopheles, and of course, Lord Diavolo. No other demons can speak Liliam except us. Unless, of course, Lord Diavolo, as the heir of Devildom, decides to gift the language to a demon."
"Why is that?" Carina asked.
"The language Liliam was a weapon language used to fight the angels back when the demons were at war. The old Kings of Devildom gifted this language to the demons they deemed as loyal to the crown. Those who would continue to protect Devildom and its Royal Demons."
"Wow, so the demon king knew you would protect Devildom! So cool!" Carina exclaimed, clapping. I rolled my eyes in the back.
"Now, I would like to show you how we demonstrate curses. Since you two don't posses magic, Beel and Leviathan will show you. Beel, you'll pair with Mathiue and Carina with Leviathan." Satan gave a smile at Mathiue. "Don't eat him, Beel."
"Eeek!"
"Sure, I'll try."
"Le-le-let me be with Leviathan! PLEASE!"
I shook my head. Typical Satan to frighten his victim.
"And Lami!" I almost snap my quill as Satan called my name. "Why don't you come here in front of the class, I would like to see your magic."
My heart beating out of its ribcage, sweet forming on my forehead. Damn it! Why did he choose me?! "Ah, its-its not that great, I am only a demon from the swamp,"
"That's not what I saw when you cursed that demon from yesterday." Satan said and the whole classroom murmered.
Damn it. Did he saw that? Shit. I should've refrain myself. I had no choice and stand from my chair to the front chair.
Satan then tells Mathiue and Carina to find basic spell from their book. "Lami will too, then, we'll have a curse battle!" The students suddenly roars excited, like monkeys cheering for a banana.
"Hah? You want us to have a battle with this low-demon?" Leviathan asked.
"Yeah, she seem really weak,"
I frown and clench my hand at my side.
"That will depends with Mathiue and Carina, since you two will be assisting Levi and Beel. Make sure to find spell that isn't enough to kill her." Satan smirked at me, earning a chuckled from the students as they look at me pity.
Fuck you, Satan.
Satan clap his hand. "Chop, chop! Time start now!"
Satan gave us thirty minutes to prepare ourself. Then the classroom was shifted with two tables facing each other. A few different items on our table. The items are objects we're going to curse. I faced Mathiue and Beel first.
Mathiue push his glasses, pointing to my table. "Hear me, the-the eraser rests in that table..." Mathiue look at his book again. "May you... be cursed in the manner I desire!"
...
The classroom was quite. A demon yawns loudly.
"Be-Beel! Curse that eraser!"
"Nani?"
"Should-shouldn't you do as I say?"
Satan sighed, slapping his forehead. "Mathiue, you need to tell Beel what you desire from the eraser. Even if you perform the spell, he can't read your minds."
"Huh? Oh, um, uhh..."
"My turn," I spoke, and Mathiue gasped. "Each contestant gets their turn every time they cast their spell. So it's my turn!" Mathiue choked on his words. Satan and Beel didn't protest as I raised my hand. "Hear me, poisonous apple princess standing before me, pop!"
I snapped my fingers, and the apple exploded into mush, hitting Mathiue in the face and covering him in puree. He then dropped to the floor, asleep.
"DING! DING! The unexpected winneeeer! Lami!" Leviathan exclaimed like a football announcer. I smiled proudly while the whole class groaned disappointedly.
"Wow, that was quick," Satan said.
"The important thing in performing a curse is how creative your mind is," I repeated the words from Satan's lecture. Satan nodded, impressed.
"Me! Me! It's my turn!" Carina exclaimed, pulling Leviathan with her, while Beel took passed out Mathiue away. Carina whispered to Levi, his eyes widening in surprise. Carina smiled and pointed at me. "Heed my calls, I command the cape on Lami's shoulder!"
Leviathan made a gesture with his hand, and the red cape on my left shoulder moved, pulling me into a twirl. I was unprepared as my body followed my cape and tripped over my feet. "Wow!" I fell onto my knees, and the whole classroom laughed.
Satan clapped his hands. "Well done, Carina."
"Thank you, Satan."
I groaned on the floor, looking under Carina's table at her fancy black shoes. I smirked at an idea. Without standing up, I called out, "Heed my calls, I command Carina's shoes to DANCE TAP!"
Carina yelped as her feet were swept up in a whirlwind of motion. Her legs moved in a loud tap, tap, tap, spinning and twirling her in perfect harmony as her upper body tried to keep up.
"Agh! Help me!" Carina yelled, while the demons just laughed at her. I shamelessly smiled at her suffering. "Levi! Help! Eek!"
"What do you want me to do?" Leviathan asked, his face bored, arms crossed.
Satan chuckled. "Carina, you need to reverse the spell. Just say the command word to stop your shoes." Carina huffed as her feet jumped, and she almost stumbled. I rolled my eyes. If Carina stopped the spell, it would be my turn to cast the next curse. I'd win this easily and quickly.
Carina struggled to look into her books, urging Leviathan to prepare himself. He rolled his eyes, holding up a finger. Carina exclaimed, "Hear me, body and soul of the demon before me, reveal nothing but the TRUTH!"
Leviathan pointed his finger and cursed me. I gasped, closing my mouth.
"Oh wow, a curse command! Good job, Carina!" Satan complimented. "A curse that is placed within a body can only be reversed by the caster, so Lami can't reverse it or wait until the spell subsides."
...What.the.fuck.
Fuck! Why did she choose this spell?! If I remember correctly, this kind of spell lasts at least five minutes. I can't do that! What if they ask about my origin?! I would spill everything, including my relationship with Lucifer! Damn it!
"Aha! Now this is my favorite part, Lami!" Leviathan called out, while Carina still tap-danced. "What are your most embarrassing moments?"
I shook my head, but my hand released my mouth, and I exclaimed, "I once walked in on the library owner, Melril, doing it with another demon from behind, and I passed out for a week!" I gasped and closed my mouth again.
The whole class laughed, and I felt a red-hot embarrassment creeping up my neck. Oh no, Melril's gonna kill me.
"Pfft! Haha! You passed out?! LOL, last time I walked in on that, I didn't come out of my room for a year!"
Satan grimaced, eyebrows knitting together in a frown. "Yes, yes, we know that, Levi."
"Ah, was it that time when Lucifer and Kri-"
"SHUT UP, BEEL!" Satan and Leviathan shouted.
"CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!" Carina pleaded as she continued her tap dance. She fell out of exhaustion, sprawled on the floor as her feet continued moving in a frenzied dance.
I glared at her. She deserved this. It's my turn, and I cast a spell on myself. "I command my body, mind, and soul to keep silent." My lips closed together tightly, as if being sewn shut. I wouldn't be able to cast my next spell, but I'd rather lose this than lose my life.
"Aww... no fun," Leviathan blow his mouth, and I glared. Was this his doing just to make me spill my most embarrassed moments?
FUCK.YOU. LEVIATHAN.
Then, the moment I'd been waiting for arrived—the bell rang.
RRRIIING!
YES! Thank you, LORD!
"Alright, I guess that's enough for today," Satan said, raising his finger and looking at Mathiue, who had just woken up. "Mathiue, since I'm kind, I'll show you how the Liliam language works." Satan smirk as he turned to both Carina and me. "Jeheyegeys!"
Instantly, the curses placed on me and Carina lifted with just a simple word. I exhaled, relieved that the truth curse was gone.
"Lami," Satan called, and I flinched. He smile with his eyes closed. "Arrange the seats back. Even though you defeated Mathiue and Carina, they don't have the strength to do so." He pointed to Carina passed out. Mathiue was holding his ears with a pale face. Of course, Satan didn't warn that when a human hears Liliam, it could hurt them.
I frowned but nodded my head. The rest of the students left for the next period. I stood at my table, waiting for everyone to clear out, including the demon lords and the exchange humans. I heard Leviathan taking Methiue to the infirmary and that's it.
When the classroom was empty, I let out a long sigh, my legs trembling; I could fall at any moment. At least I survived for today. That's all I need to care about for now. I turned my back to the tables to arrange them back.
"So, Lami," I turned around, eyes wide at Satan leaning on the doorframe. I thought I saw him leave! "You quite have the talent for cursing, huh?"
I gulped, gripping my hand on the table. "Just a few, to protect myself." My mouth felt dry. I imagine the scene he electrocuted Kristin. Shiver of fear ran down on my spine. As long as I obeyed, he wouldn't do anything, right?
I hear Satan chuckled. "No need to be frightened. I'm just fascinated that a low demon like yourself has talents."
I nodded, quickly continued my work. I needed to get this done.
"By the way, were you the one who gave Mephistopheles the whereabouts of the Cerberus Breeding warehouse?"
"Yes," I gasped and closed my mouth. Why did I tell him that? I was going to say no, but my mouth came out... Wait, was the truth curse still on me? I turned around and shivered. Satan smile stretched like a sinister, radiating chilling aura that sent shiver down my spine.
"Oh? So, you did, Aha ha ha." Satan laughed, hand over his chin. "Good thing I suggested to Carina that spell."
It was HIS doing?! Oh no. How? When?! My mind went blank, my feet moved to the door. I grabbed the handle, and it was locked. I held my breath, heart beating fast with fear. I back tremble as I felt Satan's stare with malevolence.
“Lami,”
Satan was whispering in my ear. I crashed into the doors. Since when did he approach me? Satan smile with his eyes closed. Something dark looming over jhis face. My heart thudded heavily in my chest. I knew then, his going to make me spill out every secret I had. My real identity, my name, my blood relation.
My Blops.
“Why are you so scared? I’m only curious.”
I look away, unable to look at him anymore. No, no, no! Please.
Satan stared at me with a frown. “Lami, are you-”
NO!! Someone help me!
BAM!
We both looked over to the open door. I gasped. It was Mephistopheles.
Mephisto eyes are on me, offering his gloved hand. “Lami,” he whispered my name so sweetly. All I saw was Mephisto, my savior, and I jumped into his arms.
"Lami?"
I realized Carina was waiting outside the class. Then Mephistopheles pulled me to hide behind him.
“Satan, you’re a demon lord, isn’t it petty to bully a lower demon like her?”
"Bully?" Carina asked Satan, leaning on the doorframe. Satan glared at Carina to back down, she lower her head.
“A lower demon?" Satan chuckled with a sneer, turning toward Mephisto. “I’m only curious about this newbie who has information regarding the Cerberus Breeding.”
Mephistopheles looked down at me, no expression. But I felt like he was disappointed in me. I looked down at the floor, ashamed of myself.
“Lami,” Satan called me again, and I cowered, looking over Mephisto's hand. Satan gave me a smile. “I am curious as to what knowledge you hold.”
I just stared at him, shivers running down all over my body. I felt like passing out right there in the hallway. Then I felt Mephistopheles grab my hand tightly, pulling me with him.
“We'll be on our way," Mephistopheles said. I followed him and never looked back. I was afraid if I did, Satan would be able to read my deepest, darkest secret.

Chapter 6 --- I'm still in Hell
Three days later, the students of RAD are in an uproar. Every demon has the newest newspaper. The front page is loudly written:
"MEPHISTOPHELES, THE TRUE LOYAL LORD TO THE CROWN OF DEVILDOM, DIAVOLO, CERBERUS BREEDING IS SHUT DOWN!"
I stared at the title with bored eyes. So loudmouthed. Then I read the columns.
The Cerberus Breeding. An operation built by the Demon Lord, Jezelbub, who rebelled against the crown Prince of Devildom, Lord Diavolo. For almost a decade, this operation had been going on under the noses of Lord Diavolo's reign. Entrusted to the Seven Demon Brothers, who had no result at all....
I snorted at that. It's obvious Mephistopheles is mocking the demon brothers.
The demon brothers had only found small clues, a clean scene, unreliable eyewitnesses, yet thousands of hell dog homeowners still went missing due to the operation.
Now, homeowners' pets may rejoice thanks to the greatness and true demon from the House of Lords, Mephistopheles.
"IS SHUT DOWN!" shouted from the picture of Mephistopheles in front of the warehouse.
"Hm," I mumbled, feeling a little satisfied that Mephistopheles' hatred toward the Demon Brothers ran so deep that he wrote about them being deemed as useless. I smirked, then neatly folded the paper and carefully put it in my satchel, making my way to the colosseum for Mephistopheles' award.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
"GIVE IT UP FOR MEPHISTOPHELES!!!"
I covered my ears, laughed, and clapped my hands with the other students as they cheered and chanted Mephisto's name as he ascended the stage. Pride evident in his steps and a big smile adorning his face, he laughed and waved at the crowd. Diavolo accompanied him, shaking his hands, while flying cameras with bat wings captured their photo.
"Demons of Devildom, may I present," Diavolo gestured to Barbatos, who was carrying a big red box. It opened to reveal a golden crown of thorns. "The Bright Thorn of Devildom!"
The crowd gasped in awe at the magnificent crown and clapped their hands. I too was amazed. The crown was only bestowed upon the most devoted demons who had contributed to the Crown Heir of Devildom's works. I don't know if the Seven Brothers had ever receive this. Did they?
Wow. Just my information could lead Mephisto to receive this? I need to ask for more favors from him.
Diavolo then crowned Mephistopheles. He thanked his Lordship, and Diavolo allowed him to take the podium for his speech. The crowd cheered as Mephistopheles did.
Mephisto raised his hand to silence the crowd. "Now, all students of RAD, I could not be credited for all of this," Mephisto said. "For it is the loyalty of our Crown Prince, Lord Diavolo, that has pushed me to the limit. As such..."
Mephisto continued, bragging about his loyalty, all for the glory of Lord Diavolo. I shook my head. The book talked about Mephisto being absolutely in awe of Diavolo. Seeing him in real life on stage, green eyes sparkling with admiration, like a kid looking up to his idol. It's kind of cute.
...
What the... What am I thinking? I shook my head. Maybe because the adult mind inside me. I may be thirteen, but added with my first life, I should've been thirty years old at least. So I'm way much older on the inside. I huff through my nose.
No Leilel, not with a demon. Never with a-
Suddenly, my body shivered in a different sense. I look up and my eyes caught the demon at the far corner of the stage, Lucifer. His deep red eyes bore into me.
It's like an arrow shoot right into my chest. I held my breath in fear, feeling like a predator being cornered by its prey. Lucifer red eyes look deep into my soul, sucking all the life in me. I clench my fist at my side and move away, slowly. Away from his peering gaze and turned back. I sneaked out from the crowd, exiting the colosseum.
I didn't feel his stare again, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
I decided to hide in Mephistopheles' office. I'm sure he won't mind. We still had some business to do. Like changing my shackle. My wrist felt heavy and felt like being cut off. Mephistopheles has to change the term on the seal he put on my wrist. Soon, it'll be a protection spell.
I was almost fell asleep on the expensive vintage couch, when the door of the office bursts open.
"Forgive me, fellas, I have business to take care of." Mephisto says to the demons who had come to admire him. He must have noticed me and kept the door ajar to hide me.
"Aww, Mephisto, another work to do?"
"You’ve solved one of the highest operations, and you're still gonna work?"
"Celebrate, man!"
"I’m sorry, it's just this one deal I had to take care of. Goodbye!" Mephisto slams the door. He sighs and turns at me with a smile. "Now, where were we?" he stride around the room and takes a seat across from me. Unlike the other day, his smile is genuine, like a salesman to his biggest client. His eyes lit up. "Oh! I forgot! I should offer my guest a beverage!"
He starts to stand when I stop him. "No need, let's discuss our deal first."
Mephistopheles stop and sighs as he sits back. He doesn’t seem to like this. Well, he was cocky enough to accuse me of being one of the rebels. Mephistopheles leans forward, hands folded over his lap, and say the demon's magic word. "Well, what do you desire, Lami?"
I bit my lower lips, remembering Lucifer's red eyes at the colosseum "First of all, did you tell Lucifer about me?"
"Wha-no!" Mephisto huffs, leaning back on his coach. "I kept my promise!" I glower at him. Mephistopheles pursed his lips and asks, "Still, I wonder, why wouldn’t you take any credit for this?"
"Because that’s where our deal will be." I answer and lean forward. "I want your support and protection from any demons in this school who would bother my school life, and that includes the seven lords."
Mephistopheles' eyes widen, and he strokes his chin in thought. "The other demons, I get that. But why the seven lords?"
I almost rolled my eyes. Still suspicious, huh? I can't tell him that I'm Lucifer's daughter that he might put me through torture and kill me. Guess I have to pull out my trump card. "Let’s just say I don’t have any faith in any of the former angels who call themselves demons."
Mephistopheles whole body flinch in surprised. He blinks, and suddenly laughs. "Aha ha! Is that so? Well," Mephistopheles chuckled, hand over his chin. "We have the same thought, Lami."
No, we don’t. I just know that from the book. I smile back. "Oh, we do?" Mephistopheles nods, leaning on his hand as he gives me a smile. It felt, genuine and cute. I cough. "Anyway, I will only need your protection until I can get into the exchange program."
"The exchange program?"
"Yes, I plan to go to the human world, to tempt humans. It has been my dream since I was a little girl."
"Ugh, such a common dream for demons," Mephisto mumbles.
I ignored his comment. "So, do we have a deal?"
Mephisto smiles at me and again pulls out his gloves, offering his right hand. "It's a deal."
Once we shake hands, the seal on my wrist glows, changing our contract. He lets go to let me look at my wrist with the newest seal. My protection, my promises of the future. Now, I’ll just wait for time to go by. Then I’ll be in my real world, the human world.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
That night,
"Give me my money back, scumbag Mammon!!!"
"Why don't ya just shake me, maybe I'll rain money from my pants!"
The avatar of envy did so, shaking the second-born with all his might. Mammon shouted at his brother to stop. They both continued to shake each other off.
There was a meeting between the demon lords in the council room of RAD. All six demons were seated together at the round table. Satan read his book despite his rowdy brothers. Asmodeus hummed while looking at himself in the mirror. Belphegor slept on the table while his twin brother Beelzebub chewing candy.
Then, the first-born stepped in, Lucifer. Mammon and Levi, who were still bickering with each other. Two fists smacked on top of their heads.
"Ow!"
"Hey! What's the big idea?!"
They both flinched under Lucifer's red eyes. "Be quiet!" He commanded and sat in the middle. "The meeting starts."
Satan was the first to speak.
“I have collected the necessary curses for the demons responsible for the Cerberus Breeds. All the most torturous curses, even the deadliest ones." Satan let out sinister laughs.
"Hold your horses, Satan," Asmo hummed to his brother.
Beel raised his hand. "Lucifer, what will happen to the dogs that were used?"
"Diavolo has decided to keep the dogs and treat them. I had Levi find some professional demons to handle this," Lucifer replied, turning to the third-born.
"Oh, oh yeah, here," Levi handed Lucifer the papers. The first-born looked through the papers and then back to his brothers.
They continued discussing shutting down the operation. The talk between them smoothed down into a debate about how Mephistopheles found the first base operation.
"I mean, the guy could have just happened to come across it," Mammon said.
"Are you really that much of an idiot?"
"LOL, LOL," Levi exclaim, typing to his D.D.D. "Mammon said. "Mephisto finding it was a 'coincidence,' so stupid! And tweet!"
"Oi! Why do you have to tweet that?!"
"Levi, you're not supposed to tweet our meeting,"
"That's what worries you?!"
BANG!
The demon brothers turned to the door, where two human exchange students stood.
"Hi, everyone~~" Carina greeted. The other human, a plain boy with glasses and pale skin, lifted his hand.
"Hi, sorry to bother you,"
Lucifer groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. "What are you two doing here?"
The boy frightened as he hid behind Barbatos who escorted the two humans. Barbatos explain. "Forgive our interruption, but Carina refused to go home until the brothers are done."
"I-I..." the boy stuttered. "Didn't want..."
"Awww~ Mathieu, are you gonna keep hiding behind Barbatos?" Asmo stood, leaning over the table with a mischievous smile. "He's also a demon too, you know?"
Mathieu shrieked and jumped away from Barbatos. Barbatos only smiled.
Lucifer's eyebrow stress became more evident. "Aren't you responsible for tonight's dinner, Carina? Don't be selfish and go home."
"Awww... I can't just leave you all behind~~" Carina pouted, putting on her puppy eyes. But none of the demon brothers swayed, giving Carina a dead look. Mathieu gulped down his throat, Carina blinked at the brothers, confused by their response.
"Why don't you all have a meal here?" Barbatos suggested. "It has already passed dinner," He checked his watch. "There may be leftover from the cafeteria. I shall fetch some food from there."
"Oh yeah!"
"You're the demon, Barbatos!"
"Bring back at least a hundred dishes, please."
"We are quite famished, thank you very much, Barbatos."
Barbatos nodded and was about to close the door when Carina stopped him. "Tha-thank you so much, Barbatos." She had a shy smile, blushing cheek, fiddling with her fingers.
Barbatos stared at her, and gave his cold-butler smile. "Of course," He closed the door a bit hard in her face. Carina gasped, offended, and stomped her foot.
She looked over at the brothers. Now Mathieu was in the center of attention. The demons were asking Mathieu's opinion on how Mephistopheles found the warehouse.
"I-I-I mean," Mathieu stuttered, fixing his glasses. "Meph-Mephisto? Could've... found the spell? (Was it a spell) That mirrors are the hideaway (somehow), that-that's how he found it, right?"
Satan nodded. "Okay, but... How did he find the right spot where the mirror is?"
Mathieu shrugged. "I-I-I really don't know, why not, ask him?"
"Hah!" Belphegor exclaimed, startling Mathieu. Belphie's expression was bored as he leaned on his hand. "That guy has loose lips, but when it comes to this, he was very secretive,"
"Yeah, even to Lord Diavolo." Beel said. "It was very surprising,"
"What if it wasn't him?" The brothers stopped and turned to Lucifer, who stated his opinion. "I suspect that he was helped by another demon."
Satan scoffed. "Aha! Are you going to be suspicious of him every time he does something good for Diavolo?"
"What is that supposed to mean, Satan?"
"You know what I meant. You don't like that Mephisto solved this and not you."
"Actually," the brothers turned to the voice belongs to Carina. "Three days ago, I did see a particular demon walk into his office a day before Mephistopheles busted the warehouse."
"Huh?"
"What did she say?"
"Stupid Mammon, are you deaf now?"
"Hey!"
Lucifer narrowed his eyes, pondering Carina's words. "Who is this demon?" he asked, almost commanding.
Carina looked surprised, hand over her mouth. "Lami, that new demon. I wanted to be her friend, so I followed her. That's when I saw her went into Mephistopheles's office." Carina gasped and changed her tone to dismissive. "Ah, but, this is just a theory, she could've just wanted to join the newspaper RAD, right?"
Lucifer narrowed his eyes. If the demon swamp wanted to join, Mephistopheles would never consider it. He wouldn't even let any lower demons step into his office. Lucifer turned to the second-born. "Mammon, you are in the same class as her, yes?"
Mammon looked sideways. "Uuuh, yeah?"
"Keep an eye on her."
"Huh? Why me?!"
"Idiot, you're in the same class as her." Lucifer exhaled. "It is best to keep an eye on new demons; we never know whether they are loyal to Lord Diavolo or not."
Mammon pout, grumbling under his breath. "I don't like her!"
"Huh? First week, and you already don't like her?" Asmo chuckled, eyes flirting. "Fufufu, what did she do, is it scandalous?
Mammon glared disgust at Asmo, then looked at Mathieu and Carina. Mammon slump down into his chair and whispering. "Because she is supposed to be the new demon, not her."
The brothers were quiet in the room. Mathieu could feel the change and remained still like a rock. Carina scrunched her eyebrow in confusion.
"Mammon." Leviathan leaned forward. "You know that we're still looking for her,"
"And we will not stop looking for her," Lucifer said the final word. The brothers humm agree. Leaving Mathieu and Carina out of the circle. One of them is very upset.

The moon is at its lowest peak as I walk back to my dorm room at ten pm. Ten!
"Urgh!!!" I grumble under my breath. That history teacher is so petty, putting me in detention for a week! A week! Petty demons! They're the worst kinds of creatures. I hate, hate, hate them!
My eyes spot a 666 leaf clover. The green color reminds me of Green Blops. If he were here, seeing me angry, he would've faced me, with his arms crossed and looking at me.
I sigh and begin my ritual. Take a deep breath and let go. I did it again.
When I was a child, I had my moments of tantrum. Even with a mind of an adult, you can still get mad like a child. I refused to eat anything the Blops gave me, which made Red so sad. I was violent with Yellow and Orange, I didn't see they were hurt. I was pushy and annoyed with Green and Purple. I rejected everything nice Pink gave me. Until it hit the limit when Blue was scolding me, I shouted at him that I hate him because he's a demon.
I remember Blue's face when I said that. He was shocked, really shocked. When I thought he was gonna punish me, his face got neutral, no smile, no scowl, nor glare, nothing. Instead, he turned his back away and ignored me. I was surprised but decided to ignore him too. It went on for a week, with all the six Blops following after Blue. They still gave me food, bath, and clothed me. But there were no kisses and hugs, the Blops wouldn't play with me, they wouldn’t talk with me. They just left me alone. On the seventh day of the week, I cried so loud, asking for forgiveness.
Of course, the Blops quickly forgave me. There were kisses and hugs and how awful it was for the Blops to hold back. Blue told that every Blop understands. The shout, the violence, and the hate towards demons are just anger I kept inside for Lucifer.
So I told the Blops everything. From the memory when I was a human, to be reborn as Lucifer’s daughter, and asking why am I put into this situation. There are so many humans in the world, and I was the one who isekai into an awful unfortunate character.
The Blops didn’t understand, but they still love me the same. In fact, they love me more than ever. So did I.
Green then taught me how to meditate, to control my anger, and not to bottle everything in me. The Blops told me to tell them everything that is in my heart. And I always did, and the Blops always comfort me.
I open my eyes, feeling a bit relieved. I decided to let the teacher have it my way. It doesn’t matter if I had a week detention. On weekends, I’ll be back in my cabin with my Blops, talking bad things about Miss Vile.
Ufufu. I’ve already imagined Pink and Yellow when we gossip.
I had a smile as I walked in the dorm building. I reached my room with a hum and placed my hand on the doorknob.
BANG!
"Hello, little demon~"
Someone grabbed my mouth and slammed me against the doors. My eyes widened as I recognized who it was. It was the same demon who walked me to my room on the first day. My body froze.
"Ahahah, it's so easy to munch little demons like yourself," the demon licked his lips with a twisted smile and lustful eyes. I shivered in fear, my mind went blank. "Already excited, heh? How about we do it in your room?"
His words snapped me out of my entrance, and I struggled. He strengthened his holds, nails digging into the skin of my shoulder. I scream under his palm.
"Stop struggling, you bitch!"
I panicked and grabbed his arm holding my mouth. Then I saw. A purple glow flashed before us.
“Argh! What is this??!”
He let me go. I felt power surging through from Mephisto’s mark on my wrist. Like an ocean wave, the surge power pushed the demon far away to the end of the hallway into a window that was suddenly open by itself, and he went flying.
I watched as he faded away. His scream became distand. I gasped for breath and went fumbling with my keys to open my bedroom door and crawled inside. I closed the door with my back. It took forever with my trembling fingers to lock the door, twice. Then, I screamed and cried on my knees. I didn't care if any demons heard me. Hell, they might have heard and wouldn't care a thing.
Thoughts flooded in of what could've happened. That demon was really going to molest me. I could've-
I felt my stomach churn, and I threw up on the floor. All the contents from my stomach was emptied. When it was over, I stared at the leftover food I had this evening. Then I cried and lay beside my own retch. I didn't care about the smell. I only wanted my trembling body to subside.
This was a reminder that I was still in hell.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
The next morning arrived, and I felt terrible. I had a headache, stomach cramps, and was in a completely rock bottom mood. I really didn’t want to go to school, but I had to since it's still the first week. I couldn’t afford another bad rap with a teacher. In fact, they might use this to bully me. Mocking my background. I really had enough.
Fortunately, no demons were talking about last night. They might not even care or might be too busy discussing Mephistopheles' success and the exchange program. Lucky me.
All day, I kept my head down and stayed alert, hoping I wouldn't pass by that demon from last night. There’s no way he would let go of what happened. In fact, he must've planned something to torture me. Maybe giving me a cursed object? Hypnotizing me, drugging me—anything could happen!
I felt like throwing up again, but I held on with my hand over my mouth. I hadn't eaten anything this morning, but my stomach felt sick, like when you ride a roller coaster after eating.
Half the day had gone by, and it was lunchtime. I was walking in the hallway between students toward the cafeteria.
"Agh!" I felt my cape being pulled back. My foot almost lost its balance, and I looked over my shoulder, my body freezing.
"What are you doing?" Mammon asked with a smirk, as if he had caught me stealing a cookie jar.
"I... wha!" I yelped. Mammon pulled me forward by my red cape. "Hey!!!" I protested as I tried to keep my feet on the ground. Then I felt someone grab my arm.
“Mammon! Don’t pull her like that!” Carina protested, pulling me toward her. I leaned backward while Mammon still grabbed my cape. My posture probably looked stupid, as all the students were watching us.
“Argh! Shut up, human!” Mammon pulled my cape again.
I grabbed my cape, begging him. "Wh-what do you want from me?!"
Mammon frowned, looking at me as if I’m stupid. My heart twisted with fear. If Mammon had figured me out, this might be why he's bothering me right now – he's going to act all obsessed with me. My brain imagined all the possible ways this could go.
"Wait! Please, just," I stuttered, frantically looking around the hallway for an escape. "Please, let me go," I pleaded, holding back tears. Mammon tilted his head.
“Mammon, come on, don’t pull the poor little girl,” Carina said.
I glanced at her smiling at me. She reminds me of Kristin. Even in hell, she still tries to be nice to everyone. To a demon. I gulped down my throat. Both of us are poor, unfortunate souls. Doomed for a lifetime of torture from the demons here in Devildom. But unlike Carina, I’m going to survive. I’m going to survive from this dem-!
Mammon released my cape. I gasped as I was released. Mammon stared at us, hand on his hips. I took a deep breath and tried to think of an escape. If I ran, Mammon would catch me for sure.
"Let's go, I'm hungry!" Mammon exclaimed and walked away.
“Come on, Lami!” Carina still grabbing my arm, pulling me forward. My body is still completely stiff from the shock and I just followed. But, if there is a slight opening, I’ll run like hell.

Chapter 5 --- First Day at School
The school quickly descended into chaos as all the demons talked about the new humans, their conversations soon turning to the previous humans in the program.
"Why didn't Diavolo invite Solomon?"
"Perhaps due to the incident with the human girl who was killed."
"Do you think there might be an 'accident' involving the human girl?"
"Ahaha! That would be quite dramatic!"
"Just another nephilim they have to deal with!"
Fuck.
Fuck, fuck, FUCK!
That's all I could think of as I walked toward my classroom. This is messed up, absolutely messed up. Why in the world would Diavolo start the exchange again? After thirteen years, at the same year I enrolled?! What kind of stupid fate is this?! Ugh. Whoever God from up there or down here must’ve hated me. Why do these things keep happening to me?!!!
"Ah!" My foot caught something, and I fell face-first.
A group of demons laughed at me.
"Ahaha! Watch where you're going," the demon kicked my side. I let out an 'uf' as I felt another demon put their boots on my back, holding me down.
"Argh!" Fuck! Fuck! Oh, how fate truly hates me.
"Iuuu... She has some sort of weird smell."
"What do you expect from a swamp demon?” I felt the demon lift his boot. I tightly closed my eyes, waiting for the pain.
“Hey!”
I looked up from the floor, my view only to a familiar pair of white high-heeled boots.
“You low-born demons, it’s the third bell! I will not have you punk demons ruin Diavolo’s precious academy on the first day,” Mephistopheles scolded.
The demon who has his boots on me turned to Mephisto. I slowly lifted myself up, surprised at Mephistopheles defending me.
“Fuck off Mephist-”
Mephistopheles lifted his cane to the demon’s neck, silencing him. The demon gulped.
“With the new human exchange students, it is ordered that there will be no fighting between students.” Mephisto stepped forward, pushing the demon into the wall, his purple aura flowing from his hand through his cane. “So you better follow that order, or I’ll put you on the list of Diavolo’s enemies.”
“What-!”
Mephisto struck his neck with the end of the cane. The demon doubled over, coughing.
“Understood?”
The demon coughed and nodded. Mephisto gave a glare and his friends pulled him away, leaving me and Mephistopheles in the hallway. I placed my hand over my side, emitting a healing power. I felt Mephistopheles staring at me.
I should say thank you. “Um, tha-”
“Don’t,” Mephisto cut me off. “I will need you in good shape to show me the warehouse, correct?”
Oh. Right. I nodded.
“Good, now quickly get to your class,” he lightly pushed my leg with his cane. I flinched and glared at him. He smiled back and walked to his class.
I sigh relief. I choose a great demon to be my support. For now.
I gave myself a few minutes to let the healing power work through my back. Then I lifted myself up and went to my first class, History of Devildom. I had memorized the classes I take in this building, and I was able to arrive in time. I sighed with relief as I took my seat. Luckily, no one seemed to care about me. And… I looked around the classroom. No demon brothers.
Yes!
A woman walked in, small pointy red horns on her head, short white hair, and a scowl on her face.
"Sit DOWN!" she shouted to the whole class. Of course, she would be the teacher. The student take their seat as the teacher scold. "As it is mandatory to introduce myself, even though you punk demons don't need another History Lesson 101 all over the decades because you're all lazy punks!"
She lifted her index finger, with long red sharp nails that could reach the ceiling. She scratched it on the blackboard behind her.
SCREEECH, SCREECH, SCREEECH,
I closed my ears and gritted my teeth. The teacher spelled out on the blackboard her name, "Miss Viles."
"Now, all of you will address me as Miss Viles! Or else!" she pulled out a metal ruler and snapped it. A crackling sound burst through the room like thunder, but there was no lightning. Thankfully, I'm already used to the sound in the swamp. "And! I do not tolerate-!"
"OIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!"
I jolted in my seat. That familiar voice... A demon behind me whispered, "Oh no, it's the scumbag greed brothers."
My eyes widened. The greedy scummy brother would be-!
Running steps were heard approaching from the hallway. Miss Viles groaned and held the door. When the demon stepped into the doorframe, she slammed it.
"GAH!!!"
I blinked my eyes, a demon sprawled on the floor. He had messy white hair. He was the avatar of greed, Mammon.
"HEY! I could've smashed the door, professor!" Mammon protested.
The demons behind me murmured, disappointed that Mammon didn't get slammed. That was obvious; Mammon had speed no demon in the realm could match.
Miss Viles glared. "Mammon, I will not repeat myself! Come to class on time!"
Mammon waved his hand. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got ya!"
A knock on the door, and it opened, revealing a cute tan girl with brown hair. “Um, Ma-Mammon?"
I gasped. She’s one of the human exchange students!
“Ah! You must be Carina, right?”
“Ye-yes,” Carina stepped into the classroom, offering her hand. “Nice to meet-”
“I see you’ve already rubbed off on Mammon’s behavior,” Miss Viles ignored her hand. Carina slowly put her hand away with a frown. “Just because he is your caretaker doesn’t mean you’re allowed to be late for my class!” She slapped her ruler, making a thundering noise. Carina yelped.
“I-I-I’m sorry! Please don't kill me!” Carina bowed her back in fear. Students behind me snickered and laughed.
Oh no. This is just a repeat of what happened to Kristin. Bullied, mocked, threatened to be eaten. Not to mention, her caretaker was the same demon Mam-
“Eeep!!!”
The said demon had his face close to mine, staring at me. I was frozen in my seat, scared to death.
"Yo! Miss Viles! Who is this demon?"
What is he doing?? What does he want?! Did he realize??!!
Miss Viles blew her mouth. “Oh, that’s just the new baby demon from the swamp.”
“Wait!” Mammon banged the table, and I stood up, stepping back from my seat. “You’re the youngest demon?!”
“Uh-uh-uh, yeah?” Oh no, he must’ve realized I’m Leilel! FUCKING SHIT! I need to escape through the window!
"Oh yeah, you're the same age as-" Mammon suddenly stopped. He frowned at me, clicked his tongue, and sat in his chair. The whole class went quiet.
What's going on? Just a moment ago, Mammon was bothering me and now the whole class went dead silents. I glance at from the corner of my eyes, the whole students closed their mouth as if being sewed.
Miss Viles sense the discomfort, clears her throat, and clapped her hands. "Well, I guess that’s enough chaos. Let’s start class."
I sat back into my chair, dreadful and nervous. The classroom table is for three people, and I’m sitting with the poor human Carina and demon Lord Mammon.
Oh, God, why do you hate me so much?
My heart beating so fast it may have fallen out of my ribcage. My hand sweats like a pig. I take a slow deep breath. Distracting myself with the professor's lecture. I look from the corner of my eyes. Mammon was leaning over his crossed arms, yawning. He seemed to be bored out of his mind and ignoring everyone around him. I sighed in relief.
Then a quill tapped on my book. “Hey, I’m Carina, what’s your name?”
I flinch. Fuck. Quite bold this human wants to introduce herself to a demon on the first day. Very unfortunate that demon is me. If I become acquainted with Carina, I will be involved in Diavolo’s and the Seven Brothers' twisted game. They would let Carina be friends with me, then make me the evil demon who's out to eat this girl while the demon brothers protect her. It’s how they tricked Kristin and gained her favor.
And it’s going to happen again. I gritted my teeth and turn back to my book. I ignore her. I can’t get involved with her. Never.
I hear Carina let out a disappointed sigh. I clenched my pen. My consciousness was heavy with guilt. I'm really sorry. But her fate here had been predestined. And there’s nothing I would and could do. I'm still trying my hardest to survive here, and it's not been easy. Not without my blops though.
I exhales through my nose. I miss them already.
Suddenly Carina leaned on me, looking at my book. "Hum... La-mi? Lami?!"
I closed my book with a loud thud. For a human, she doesn't have a decency to keep a person's private space and business. Great. This kind of human would easily go down at least in a month.
I was about to scold her. "You...!" I stop as I saw the surprised look on her face, as if she can't believe what she's seeing in front of her. Her eyes cast down and up to my face. I blink. Why is she...?
Then her mouth curved into a grin like the Cheshire cat. “Wow, Lami” Carina mumbled with a smile. She giggled. “You’re thirteen, right? That makes me older than you.”
My left eyes twitch, shiver all over my back. Is this human a creep?
“What are you two talking about?”
I almost jumped in my seat when Mammon interrupted us.
Carina giggled. “Oh, I’m just introducing myself. Lami is so shy~” she gave me a weird smile. All the hair on my neck stood up.
What is this?
“Ik!” Mammon exclaimed. “Why would you wanna be friends with a demon from the swamp? They're the lowest of the lowest demons.”
Carina gasped. “Ma-Mammon!”
I rolled my eyes and returned to my book. A tan hand blocked my book with his palm. It was Mammon looming over me with a smirk.
“Not even the lowest demon wants to live there. You must’ve loved the smell, huh? I hope you shower twice cause I ain’t smellin - BUH!"
A board eraser smacked into Mammon’s head, and he fell backward into his seat.
“Kyaaaa!!!” Carina screamed.
“Human! Quiet! Mammon! Pay attention to the class! You've been in this class for decades! I had ENOUGH!" Miss Viles turned at me with a glare. "You!" She point her really-really long nails at me. I gulp. "I knew a demon from a swamp will have no manners whatsoever. So I'm going to assign you three, to DETENTION!" she slap her ruler to our table, creating a thunder sound over the class.
Carina scream loudly into my ears, hiding under the table like a mouse. Mammon was still on the floor, maybe passed out. The whole class laugh and mock us until Viles silents them. Then she went back to her lecture with a huff.
I take deep breaths, deep breaths, deep breaths. My heart may as well going to heart attack. How I wish it would happen. How I wish I was dead and send to Celestial Realm.
"I hate first day at school."
RRRIIIING!!!
The first bell rings for the next period, and I swiftly exit the class, my feet carrying me away.
“Ah, ah! Lami!”
It's Carina calling me. I keep running. Though the guilty conscience still lingers at the back of my mind, asking me if I'm going to let what happened to Kristin happen again.
I shake my head. No, I can't do that. I can't help anyone but myself. I keep running toward the RAD newspaper office.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
Mephistopheles has his arms crossed, scowling at me. “Detention? On the first day?”
I frown as I open the map of Devildom. “It wasn’t my fault, it was that dumb greedy demon, Mammon!”
“Yet, you got yourself involved with that demon?” Mephistopheles clicks his tongue. I scrunch my face in anger. Demons. Why did I even bother defending myself? I take a deep breath, settling my anger down. After I relax, I focused on the map, pointing at a location.
“Here.”
Mephistopheles looks over the map, his frown deepening. “The park?! Are you insane? A thousand years of searching for the rebellion's illegal operation is there?!”
“It is there, just hidden.” I rummage through my satchel and pull out a small dual-sided standing mirror. “See the forest behind the park? It’s an illusion. They used this ancient spell, a double mirror, reflecting what they recorded in the mirror and making it like a big whole projector.”
I demonstrate with my mirror, reflecting the fireplace. The first side captures the fireplace like a picture with a camera. Mephistopheles watches silently. Then I turn to the second side, facing the other side of the room. The reflection now shows the door as a fireplace.
Mephistopheles gasps, standing over his couch. “I’ve, I’ve seen this spell,” he points to the mirror. “If we had walked through the line where the mirror is placed,” Mephisto steps to the fireplace, touching it. “Everything becomes real.”
I nod. “That’s why none of you can find the place.”
Of course, I know this from the novel. The chapter tells how one of the rebellion demon approach Kristin, offering her an escape from Devildom. In exchange, Kristin would give them a key to Lucifer’s real Cerberus at the basement of the House of Lamentation. Since their operation is based on recreating the demon dog Cerberus, they would need the blood of the real Cerberus. After a while, Kristin decided not to continue, not wanting to cause chaos in Devildom.
Stupid girl.
The novel said she trusted those brothers, giving them a second chance to redeem themselves. Yeah. Where are you now, huh, Kristin? Buried in the unknown dirt of Devildom, leaving me behind.
I grit my teeth and clench my hand on my lap, trying hard not to let it show on my face. So I scrunch my face and exhale.
Mephistopheles doesn’t seem to notice me, busy taking notes and talking to himself.
“Alright, alright,” He taps his notepad. “I’ll be with reinforcement to see if this is real.” He looks at me seriously. “If we find nothing, I’ll personally escort you to Barbatos's torture room at the Demon Castle.”
Hearing Mephisto threat made my heart stop for a second. Oh, fuck. Do I really want to risk my life with a novel I just read through the internet?
Fuck this. I close my eyes and nod.
“Good, if you try to escape,” I suddenly feel a weight around my wrist. Mephistopheles' mark shines, creating a shackle around it. “The mark will be your chains, is that clear?”
I gulp down my throat. Since when is he able to do this? I nod again, praying to God above to let my plan goes well.

Born into the Seven Ruler's of Devildom
I'm Leilel Morningstar, the child of Lucifer Morningstar.

Chapter 4 --- Mephistopheles
The next morning, I arrived at RAD in early morning night. There were no students around at this hour. I hurried through the RAD courtyard and into the hallways, careful not to seen. I'd rather not become a target on the first day, at least not until I had that demon in my hand.
Mephistopheles was a minor character in the book, one of the noble demons known in the Noble House of Lords. The book mentions that Mephisto hates Lucifer for being the reason he became Diavolo's ex-best friend, but Mephisto is still loyal to the prince.
He's the perfect demon to be my sponsor. He hates the seven brothers but remains loyal to the crown. Having him as my protector will guarantee safety while I'm at RAD, at least until I get permission to go to the human world.
I hid behind one of the pillars. Across from me was the door to the RAD newspaper office, where I heard arguments from inside.
"I told you, we need to make a decision now!"
"We can’t! Remember the last accident! Lucifer will hang us in front of the school gate!"
"ENOUGH!" A demon shouted so loudly that the hallway shook. I closed my eyes at the shock. "We're running out of time. Let's go and deal with this LATER!"
The door burst open, revealing a demon with shockingly purple hair, green eyes, and a tall, elegant figure.
Wow. The novel doesn't describe much, but it mentions his eggplant hair that the brothers (especially Mammon) like to joke about. He's quite handsome. Man with tan skin are totally my type.
"Get out! All of you incompetents!"
A group of demons walked out with scowls on their faces. I wondered what they were fighting about. I waited until they were gone so I could have some alone time with Mephisto. But before I could even reveal myself, Mephistopheles shouted.
"You! Low-born demon! Reveal yourself, right this instant!"
I gape and did as he told, bowing my head. "Good evening, Lord Mephistopheles."
The demon scowled, hands on his hips. "Hmp! At least you have some manners. What do you want?"
I kept my head down. "I want to sell important information."
Mephistopheles's eyes widened, and he laughed. "Hah hah! You? A demon from the swamp? Not to mention a baby demon like you." He thumped his cane as he walked with a menacing stride, my back against a pillar. "What could a demon like you possibly have that I need?"
I clenched my hand at my side. "I-if I tell you, you have to make me a member of the RAD newspaper as your secretive informant."
Mephisto rolled his eyes. "I already have my own informant. What makes you different?"
Because they didn't read the book about this world. I smiled, hand over my mouth as I whispered to him. "Cerberus Breeding."
Mephistopheles's body stiffened, eyes widening.
"I know where it is."
Suddenly, I was pushed up against the pillar, the demon's hand on my shoulder, grabbing it tightly. I yelp as Mephisto shout to my face. "How would you know this?! Unless you are one of the demons opposed to Lord Diavolo and part of the operation!"
"What?! Are you kidding me?!" I shouted back out of fear. Mephisto gritted his teeth as I fought back. "I happen to be a standby demon in the swamp who knows valuable information, and I could give it all to the RAD newspaper if you give me this one chance!"
The demon stared at me with a menacing glare. I felt my body shiver in fear, my breaths heavy. All of my courage had run out. Then he suddenly released me. My feet drop to the ground. I watch as he pulled off his glove that touched me and tossed it, as if it was dirty. I glared at the gloves.
He offered his naked hand. "Let's make a demon bet, shall we? If your information is correct, I shall agree to your offer and let you be an official RAD newspaper student."
Oh. I stared at his hand and looked up. "Don’t you want to know what I want?"
"I don’t care what you want," the demon said, an evil smile upon his lips. "All I care about is proving you wrong and accusing you as one of the rebellion."
My heart dropped, fear settling in. I hesitated. Mephistopheles smirked as it showed all over my face.
Demon.
I pursed my lips. I did have this knowledge from the novel, even the things the Seven Lords don't know. Everything had been right, so why wouldn’t this?
I decided to believe in the book and myself. I took his hand. "Deal!"
A purple glow emanated from both of our wrists. It sent shockwaves through me. I winced, but the demon gripped his hold on me. A hot energy surrounded my wrist. Something was engraved on our wrists. It was like being tattooed on my skin. Mephisto's mark engraved on my wrist. When it was done, he let go.
"Now," Mephisto pulled out another pair of gloves. I stared, confused. "You should go to the colosseum for the opening ceremony." He turned his back and walked away. He glanced over his shoulder, green eyes glinting. "Hope to see you there, Lami."
I gulped down my throat, keeping myself straight until he turned a corner. I fell down, my back against the pillars.
"Haaaahhh... I hate demons..." I wrapped myself around, calming down before going to the colosseum.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
The students of RAD had gathered around the colosseum for an announcement. A stage paced under the dragon statue. Then a demon with a butler style and green hair stepped onto the stage first.
"Ladies and gentlemen, may I present our future king, crown prince of Devildom, Lord Diavolo,"
Another tall, giant demon wearing a red RAD uniform followed him. His eyes were an unnatural gold that could astound anyone. Diavolo, the crown prince of Devildom, had a small smile as he waved to his subjects.
From the novel, Kristin mentions he has a child-like side. But behind those acts, were malicious intentions.
There's this scene where Kristin was killed by Belphegor, accidentally. Plot twist, Kristin was generated back to life by an angel, a guardian angel who protects Kristin's family line. But Diavolo was the one behind it all. He knew about the angel and wanted to see how powerful Kristin is. After the traumatic event, Lucifer comes to Kristin’s comfort. It was then she let Lucifer take her body and soul willingly.
Speaking of the demon, Lucifer was by Diavolo's side. As the man known as God’s favorite, he is indeed beautiful.
I stayed at the far back of the crowd, glaring at him. Bastard father.
Diavolo took center stage, his loud, fierce voice booming. "Good morning, Students of the Royal Academy of Diavolo!!!"
I had to close my ears because of his voice, and he did it without a microphone.
"I am so happy! To begin our next year, here at RAD!" the students cheered, Diavolo raised his hands. "I hope you are ready, the Seven Brothers and I had so many events and plans we had prepared especially for all students of RAD to enjoy!"
Everyone clapped, and in the corner of my eye, I spotted Mephistopheles rolling his eyes. He must've been upset because he's not included in the plan. That is what was mention from the novel.
"The first event for this year is a program we had shut down a long time ago. Thirteen years ago, we had an established program, an exchange program. The program involved an exchange student from the human world," Diavolo continued,
What?!
My heart skipped a beat. He's talking about the novel, Kristin!
"It was a successful program as we learned more about the humans and established a good relationship with them."
Is he really talking about THAT exchange program?! Oh no, where is he going with this?
"It was more than that; we made a bond." Diavolo fell silent for a moment. "But after that, an incident happened, and the program was stopped. Delayed, forgotten. Now, I want to bring the program back!"
I gasped; if Diavolo is bringing back the program, that means…
"And that is why we have invited two new humans," Diavolo gestured for them to come forward.
Lucifer appeared with a boy behind him, and his brother Mammon brought a girl. I watched as they stood there, seeming almost like slaves. There were no chains, and they wore the RAD uniform. Their faces were pale and uneasy.
Both the boy and girl stepped forward beside Diavolo. He had that welcoming smile described in the novel, but I could sense evil intentions behind it.
"Please welcome the new exchange students from the human realm!"
WHAT THE FUCK?!

Chapter 3 ---- Royal Academy of Diavolo
Like the name suggests, the academy is a school for demons built by the prince of Devildom, Lord Diavolo. He is the same demon who put my mother, Kristin, into this place.
The novel tells that Diavolo put two humans in the school. They were promised a wish if they could survive for a whole year. It was more of an entertainment for the dark prince to see who would win, the avatars or the humans.
The other human, a sorcerer, managed to survive.
But not Kristin. Tempted by Lucifer’s lies of love, she died giving birth to me.
“Jekejeje!!!” Pink exclaimed.
I turned to the blops. “Thank you.” The blobs let out a weird cry, begging for me not to go. I laughed. “I’m not going anywhere, I’ll go home on weekends and vacation.
“Jheyeygeha,” Blue asked me whether I’m certain to do this. He is giving me a chance to go back and live normally in the swamp. I smiled and held his tiny hand.
Going back to the swamp does seem easy. I can see myself living there until my old age, with the blops, of course. I will be safe, secure, and happy. And it's not like Lucifer and his brothers are out there hunting me. But going to RAD is the like going into the tiger's demon's den.
I exhales, holding Blue’s cheeks as we looked eye to eye.
“Blue, I need to do this. I can’t stay in the swamp for the rest of my life, I want to live.”
Blue was quiet, he nodded. He kissed my forehead for comfort.
“Blehehegegheh!”
“Fejegeheheaja!”
“Gegehegeg!”
The blobs said their goodbyes as I walked toward the gates. “See you, everyone!”
The gates of RAD opened by themselves, taking a deep breath, I strode in. I still had my head looking back, watching the blobs getting smaller and smaller as I walked further. I turned back forward when I entered the building.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
Walking into RAD is like entering a war zone, not in metaphor or like high school problems. This is a school for demons and a place where the seven lords are more often than in the city. There's a possibility I’ll be in the same class as them, not to mention my own father.
The thought brings shivers to my spine.
As long as I don’t get caught. I even changed my whole appearance. My hair used to be black, and I turned it blue. My eyes were purple lilacs, and I changed them to orange brown. The lenses are uncomfortable, but it's for the safety of my identity. Purple lilacs are very rare in Devildom, belonging only to two demons: Beelzebub and Belphegor, the two lords. It would be suspicious if a new demon suddenly appeared with the same color eyes as them.
I find my way to the RAD council room. Two heavy black doors in front of me make me feel intimidated. I take deep breaths, in and out.
"Don’t worry," I tell myself. Even if I look scared, they would think it's because a new demon is facing the lords of the demon world before her. They wouldn’t be suspicious. They couldn’t!
I keep telling myself to be positive and brave. "Step it up!" I say to myself.
If they do recognize me...
No, let's not go there. I shake my head and lift my hand, knocking a few times and opening the door.
"AGGGGHHHH!!!"
I yelp and almost slam the door closed again.
"No!!! I lost! No, no, nooooo…"
"Are you sure you’re a pro, Levi?"
"Don’t you dare question my profession when you just sleep all day, Belphegor!"
I peek from the door, and there I see the two lords of envy and sloth playing PSP.
"Seriously, why are you two here if you’re gonna play games all day?!" the lord of wrath, Satan, scolds them.
"Hey! Who wants to be at school on weekends before it starts?! This is all because Mammon ditched his work on me!" the avatar of envy complains, banging the table with his fist. "Lucifer too! Why did he let him get away just because he had some shoots?! No fair, no fair!"
"Mammon promised to pay your debt with the photoshoot, right?" Belphegor leans his head down.
"Don’t you know our scumbag brother-!" Leviathan stops as his purple-orange eyes meet mine. I shriek and close the doors again. Words come flooding into my head.
“Do what I say, human! After all, you’re just a stupid normie weak human!” the avatar of envy, Leviathan, shouted at Kristin.
I tightly close my eyes, taking deep breaths. In and out, in and out, in-!
I yelp when the council room door opens, revealing the three lords standing before me. I bow my head, hoping my hair hides my face.
“Good morning, my lords, I’m—I’m Lami! The new student at RAD!” I blurt out the words.
“Oh? You must be the new demon who's coming today, huh?” I hear the voice belonging to Satan.
“New demon? How old is she?”
I hear a rustle of paper as the three demons fall silent. They gasp, and my heart skips again.
“You’re thirteen?!”
“That’s really young!”
I slowly look up at their shocked looks. It seems they care more about my age than my face.
“Um, excuse us, please come in, Lami.” Satan motions for me to come in. “Sit here,” He gestures to a long table with many seats. In front of the table is a higher table with seven seats in a row, and one seat is much higher. It looks like a courtroom rather than a council room.
The place is like a courtroom, and several men are looking my way. In that courtroom, Diavolo, the ruler of demons, introduces himself. Then he introduces his right-hand man, Lucifer.
"We'll see how she survives until the end of the semester," Lucifer smiles, something sinister and evil in it.
This is the exact same place where the demons summoned Kristin.
“Miss Lami? Why don’t you take a seat?” Satan encourages. I look up at his small fake smile.
Satan, the avatar of wrath and the fourth-born. The book tells that Satan may look like an average gentleman, but he is actually malicious and pretentious with all those smiles he gives away so easily, just like now.
I bow my head. “Forgive me, Lord Satan,” I say and take a seat.
The blond demon seems satisfied by my obedience. He takes a seat at his throne. Leviathan and Belphegor have seated themselves as well.
Belphegor speaks first. “Lami, you don’t have any demon scent on you?”
It's a tradition for demons to scent each other, much like a dog marking its territory. Belphegor's question refers to the fact that I have no parents.
“No, my lord, I have no parents.”
“And you were raised in a swamp?” Levi asks, his eyes widening in shock. “Don’t usually demons go there for isolation? Eheheh, you must be an introvert.”
I was thrown away by your brother.
I say the words I've practiced. “The swamp is a perfect place to strengthen myself, my Lords.”
“Is that a way to say that you’re poor?” Belphegor asks, he laughs off with Leviathan.
I clench my hand under the desk. I need to keep my composure. These demons would be satisfied with my reaction.
Satan coughs to hide his laughs. “Well, apart from you having no relatives nor money, I can see you are quite intelligent.” Satan looks through the documents in his hands. It must be information regarding my grades and tests I had taken.
Usually, it would take a hundred years for a new demon to take the RAD test because of the hard curriculum and the need to study subjects that involve millennial knowledge. Luckily, one thing I'm grateful for regarding my bastard father is his brain.
Satan puts his papers down and looks at me. “So, Lami, why go to RAD so fast?” Satan asks, putting his hands together. “What’s your goal?”
The three lords look at me more seriously, gone are the playful demons. They must be evaluating whether I’ll be an enemy or not. Many demons are against the demon prince, Diavolo, and the Seven Lords must take action.
All I can do is be honest.
“My Lords, I’m interested in one program RAD offers, the exchange program,” I say with a stern voice. “I would love to go to the human world and tempt many humans.”
The Lords are silent as they consider my answer.
Yes, this is the goal. To go home, to the human world, my world.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
"This is your room," the demon, guide of the RAD dorm, opened the door for me. Inside was a five-square-foot room with a single bed. There were desks and drawers for my clothes. A simple but quaint room.
The memory came in a blur when I was human. It was my college year, and I had moved into my dorms. Three old ladies came in with boxes and luggage. They said to call them often, then kissed and hugged me like my Blops did.
I frowned. Even in my first life, I was raised by guardians. Though the ladies seemed nice, I can't even remember their names.
"Here's your key," the demon tossed it onto the study desk. "There are the dorm rules at the bulletin, just read that. But... There's no curfew here," the demon shrugged his shoulders, eyes glinting dangerously. "So, a new demon like you should be careful around here," the demon licked his lips in a twisted smile.
I kept my composure, but inside, my stomach dropped. The demon waved goodbye and closed the door. I stayed still in the middle of my room, listening to the demon's steps fade away. Once they were gone, I dropped to my knees.
"Hahhhhhhh," I exhaled. "That was so intense," I pushed myself to lean on the bed leg, pulling my feet to my chest and hugging them. I stayed on the floor until I calmed down. I needed to pull myself together.
There are still four demon lords I need to face tomorrow, not to mention my father. I groaned and shook my head. I'm still not out of the woods yet. The demon guide me before was right; I'm a new demon with no relation with powerful demons, no money, no name, nothing. Every demon would make me their sacrificial lamb. That's why I needed a demon on my side. A powerful demon.
And there is one demon I could ask for. That demon has no relation with the seven lords and who hates Lucifer with all his might.
Mephistopheles

BORN INTO THE SEVEN'S RULER OF DEVILDOM
Chapter 1
Chapter 2 ---- Eight Years Later
This year, I reached thirteen, the year I had been looking forward to.
"Blue! Blue! Where are my scrunchies?" I frantically searched. This small cabin had only one room, but it was easy to lose things in it.
"Kehekehehege!!!" a blob with yellow eyes handed me my scrunchy.
"Ah! Thank you, Yellow!"
Another blob with pink eyes offered me a ribbon. "Blehehegegheh!"
"Oh! Thank you, Pink! This ribbon will look perfect!"
Two blobs with white and purple eyes helped me with my ribbon from behind.
"Gegehegeg!"
"Fejegeheheaja!"
"Aww, come on White, Purple, I'm not a little kid anymore!" I giggled.
I called the blobs according to their eye color. I couldn't talk in their language. But we understand each other and communicate just fine.
"Alright, alright! Where's Blue?! I need to go now!"
"Blehehegegheh!"
The blobs led me outside the cabin. Its morning night in Devildom, the moon was high and shining brightly, but not like the sun. I missed the sun from the human world.
"Fejegeheheaja!"
"Gegehegeg!"
The rest of the blobs surrounded me with their little chants. They were worried for me.
"Guys, please, I've been waiting for this my whole life!"
The blobs protest. Blue shouted at them to be quiet. He then gave me a small bag with grimms inside.
"Thank you, Blue," I said with gratitude. Blue turned to his group, speaking in command. The blobs cheered, and we set out to the city.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
The Devildom city was a sight I could never be bored of. The alien feeling of being here still lingered. Sometimes I wondered what it would be like with a real sun down here.
When the blobs and I first arrived in the city, it was at the Aeos Library, the same library I had entered before. The bell jingled with a deep melody as I opened the door.
"Hello, Melril," I greeted the owner.
Melril turned her head and smiled. "Lami! Just in time, good, good!"
Lami was my fake name. There were two reasons for it: first, Lucifer's name originated from an angel named Samael, and Leilel was the opposite name of Samael for a girl; second, a demon's name would not have "el" at the end, as it would mean son/daughter of God.
"My name is such a clown," I thought to myself. This may be Kristin's way of revenge. To demons and angels, names are important to their power. They couldn’t change their names as easily as humans did.
"Here you go, Lami," Melril returned with a black uniform, and I gasped.
"Your one and only RAD uniform!" she said enthusiastically.
"Thank you so much, Melril!"
"Don’t mention it! It was my old uniform! It would be a waste to throw it out just like that," Melril replied, pointing to the back. "You should get changed or you'll be late."
I nodded and ran toward the back, the blobs following me before I shushed them away. They laughed and giggled, excited for me.
I emerged from the backroom wearing the uniform. Although it looked old and worn out, the uniform fit me perfectly and suited my style. It consisted of a black jacket, a green shirt underneath, and a red cape on my back, along with a long skirt that covered my knees and boots.
The blobs and Melril clapped for me. "Oh! Look at you! I'm so glad to give my uniform to an alpha demon such as you."
Alpha demons are demons who are born in the twenty-first century, and it is rare for them to give birth. Newborns wouldn't even exist for millennia.
"Now, remember our deal!" Melril reminded me.
I nodded. "Yes, yes, on the weekend I'll be here to guard the shop until it closes."
Since I was a regular at the library, I had been working here since I was six. Melril used to ignore me for a year, but when she noticed my intelligence, she made me her apprentice. Most of the time, I was just cleaning and arranging books, but she let me borrow books for free as long as I returned them in good condition.
Melril nodded. "Good, good, now off you go! You'll be late!"
She pushed me out of the bookstore without hesitation. I rolled my eyes. Melril was a big introverted demon, that's why she ignored all her customers.
The blobs and I made our way across the street, we stopped when we saw familiar demons.
"It's not fair!"
"Ain’t my problem."
"The Majolish has taken two seasons with you! How could they not be bored seeing your face for the third season!"
"Oi! What's that supposed to mean?!"
It was Mammon and Asmodeus. My feet trembled in fear as words describing the two demons floated inside my head. Scenes from the novel when they mock Kristin, bullying her.
Mammon flick her forehead as he said. “Ya’re nothing but a weak human! And I’m the Great Mammon! Ya should always remember that!”
“Oh~ Kristin~ You should stay still like a doll you are before I do something you would die for~ eheheh,” Asmodeous smirks with his orange eyes shimmering with dangerous lust.
The blobs surrounding me protectively. I hide my face and we continued walking. The two avatars passed by without a glance at me. I ran with the blobs holding me tight, we stopped when we felt far enough.
It’s exhausting just facing these demon lords. I don’t know what would happen if they found out who I really am.
"Kejegekehe!" Yellow exclaimed, pointing in front of us, the gates to the Royal Academy of Diavolo, lay.
"Wow!"

BORN INTO THE SEVEN'S RULER OF DEVILDOM
CHAPTER 1 ----- HOW I WAS BORN
Everyone knows they have no memory of how they were born.
But none of them experienced birth like I did. That's what I thought at first.
When I took in my surroundings: three dark little blobs with a pointy mouth, colorful eyes, and a strange laugh. My awareness was tenfold that of an adult, even with the obvious baby body.
I seemed to be in an old cottage. There’s other little dark blobs working around the cottage. What are they?
One blob with blue eyes laughed. "Khekhekhee."
I blinked at the blob. They made weird voices that I couldn't understand. One thing was sure: these blobs were the ones taking care of me. Are they my servants? Where’s my parents?
A year later,
With the help of the blobs, I was able to walk. From crawling to walking, they were at my side, helping me stay balanced. They made noises that looked like cheering.
"Behbeeb."
"Keddekefn!"
"Heuheeuh!"
My consciousness was still that of an adult. So it was a relief I could walk. Lying down all day in bed is so boring. For the whole day I played with the blobs.
Four years passed,
The blobs celebrated my fifth birthday with mud cake. A simple white candle adorned it, and I blew it out. The blobs clapped and gave me a backpack.
I gasped. "Can I go?"
"Kehekehehe!"
"Bleeprbeee!!"
Apparently, I had a past life. I regained my memories when I was four. Those memories were blurry and fragmented. In my memory, the world I lived in has day and night. In this world, there was no sunlight. It had been night every day.
It was obvious I was transported to another world. I needed to do some research. The blops will be taking me to the city for my fifth birthday. The house I lived in was located in the middle of a swamp forest. The blobs seemed to know I had intelligence beyond my age and agreed.
The blobs disguised themselves in robes. Together, they formed arms, legs, body, and one head tall enough to be considered an adult. Together, we ventured out of the swamp forest and headed towards the city.
The blobs carry me all the way, taking turns. When we saw the city, it was surrounded by mountains, with houses lined up, and at the far side stood a giant black castle.
I gulped at the sight. The sky was dark with twinkling stars, and the castle was so high it seemed to reach the sky. The castle is like a dark fairy tale where villains lived. I tightened my grip on the blob's robe, and they comfort me by rubbing my cheek. I giggled and nodded, and we continued.
As soon as we arrived in the city, I knew where I was.
This is Hell!!!
The people passing by had horns and tails attached. Some had wings like bats as they flew above the city. I saw ghosts roaming around with the same shape as the blobs, ghosts shaped like humans wandering like normal.
It was a different kind of Hell, not the one my world interpreted as being full of fire and sinners being punished. It was an underground world, peaceful yet alien at the same time.
"Khehegege!" The blob spoke, and I nodded. We arrived at our first destination, the library.
The blobs played along as I read in the corner of the shop. I was worried we'd be suspicious, but fortunately, the keeper seemed uninterested in us and sat behind the counter, scrolling on what I recognized as a computer.
I read about the worlds I lived in. The world had three realms: Devildom, where I currently was, the place where demons, lingering ghosts, and sinners resided; the Celestial realm, where the God of Light and angels lived; and the human realm, where all living humans resided. With my past memories, it seemed that I used to be a human in a human realm.
So, I'm a sinner?
The answer was no. When humans die, they either go to the Celestial Realm or Devildom. In Devildom, they would've become lingering ghosts that served the demons or sinners that had to receive punishment for their deeds in life.
Well, I'm not a ghost or a sinner.
Am I a demon?
"Blops?" I called for them, and they quickly gathered by my side.
"Behbeeb."
"Heuheeuh!"
I pointed at myself. "Am I a demon?"
The blobs shook their heads, and I tilted mine.
The blob with blue eyes took the book I was reading. He showed illustrations of three species in the three realms: angels, humans, and demons. The blob pointed to a demon and a human, then put their tiny hands together.
My eyes widened. "I'm a human and a demon?"
The blobs nodded.
The first nephilim after a millennium was born.
Ah, what was that word? A memory flashed in where I was in my bed, reading from a small box. An android. Did I read something?
It seemed like an important memory, but I couldn't recall it no matter how hard I tried. I needed to find out more. I search for more books.
Five hours passed.
"Heuheeuh!"
"Khehegege!"
The blobs pulled my attention away from the book I was reading. It was time to go home.
The blobs put on their coats, and we walked out. The owner simply ignored us all the way. The bookstore door jingled as we closed it behind us.
That's when I noticed demons and ghosts seemed cheering as if a famous person had arrived. I looked up to see who it was when the blobs suddenly carried me away from the main street into a hidden alley.
"Blops?" I asked, and they shushed me all together. Then I heard voices from the main street.
"Alright! Alright! Get away! We're trying to go home here!"
From the alley, we see a blond handsome demon with black uniforms, followed by another demon with the same clothes but in a different style.
They're all so handsome! They feel different than the demons I have passed by. They seem to have a different aura that makes them more admirable. Are they that famous?
"Satan, Satan~ Don't push your admirers like that!" a demon with pink hair said and blew a kiss to the crowds.
Satan? That's his name?
They both had only one resemblance: wrath.
Ah, were those words I read in the same book?
"Don't touch me, Asmo. I'm in a bad mood," Satan replied and pushed him away, the demon pouted.
...
Asmo?
Why does the name seem familiar?
"It's a collar with your name written on it," Asmodeus grinned like a cat. "Make sure to wear it!"
Again, my memory flooded with written words that I may have read. But what? What did I read about real demons here, when I was a human in my past life?
"Asmo, leave Satan alone."
Another demon with a deep dark voice made me turn my head. The demon's voice belonged to the tallest one with dark hair and red eyes like blood. His appearance made me shiver, and my feet struggled to stand. The blobs hid me further into their united bodies, blocking my sight from the group. I could still hear them when the demon named Satan exclaimed.
"Fuck off, Lucifer!"
My heart skipped a beat at the name, and the memories flooded in.
Lucifer, the demon of all demons, succeeded in impregnating her.
I closed my mouth and held my breath, fear settling in me. I wanted them to go away, right now! The group seemed to be silent for a moment when another one voiced out.
"Yo, Lucifer! Ya alright? What ya lookin' at that alley?"
My heart skipped, fear of getting caught. I clutched the blobs tightly, praying they wouldn't come here. A moment that felt like an eternity. The demon responded to its group.
"I thought I heard a rat."
Then the group moved on, their voices fade in the distance. Later, the blobs looked out of the alley. The coast was clear, and they carried me, running away from the city.
I sat on my bed with a thoughtful expression. The blobs were concerned as they cooked and did chores. A few of them tried to play with me, but I was lost in my own thoughts.
I replayed the memories that flooded in. Though they weren't all clear, I had a conclusion.
I felt my face filled with tears. The blops gathered around in concern, but I pushed them away and wrapped myself into a blanket burrito. I cried and cried, wanting to deny the reality I am in.
I’m in hell.

Illusion
I swear I had this short for like monthsss 🙃🙃
Tumblr media
Kristin peeks into the music room, silently exclaiming yes! None of the demon brothers is here. She enters the room, and toward the piano. It was the one thing that had piqued her interest the moment she found the music room. One of her childhood fond memories of going to boring lectures at Sunday church was the music.
Kristin reached and felt the cold hard surface. Guessing no demon has been playing it for so long, but well taken care of. Kristin opens the lid. The sight of keys brings light to her eyes.
Kristin took a breath and sat. She reflexes her knuckles and puts her finger on the keys.
ROWL!
It was like time had fast-forwarded so fast. All Kristin knew was she was on the floor. The piano lid has white sharp teeth that would’ve been enough to shred her fingers. Most of all, Lucifer stood by the piano, hushing the piano like a taming wild beast.
“Hush! Enough!” Lucifer commanded and closed the lid of the piano. The piano whimpered with its animal sound. Then calmed down, back into its ordinary piano.
Kristin breathes, feeling her heart beat fast. The piano was alive! And it almost killed her! But that’s not what she is worried about now. Lucifer is looking down at her with a strong intense look.
Thump, thump.
“What were you doing?!” Lucifer shouted. Kristin flinched at his voice and closed her eyes.
“I was, I was just-!” POF! Kristin turned into her sheep form and continued. “I was just trying to play the piano, I thought-!”
“No one plays the piano but me!” Lucifer shouted, making Kristin whimper in a sheep's voice. Lucifer takes a deep breath, trying to control his anger. “If I weren’t here in time, you would’ve lost your hands. What would become the exchange program, Lord Diavolo…”
His lecture continued. Saying Lord Diavolo wished, his reputation tarnished, her life would be forfeit, and he wouldn’t care for it.
“Alright! Alright! I get it!” Kristin interrupts, using her tiny feet to the door. “I’m sorry, I won’t try to play it again.”
Lucifer stared at her wide eyes. He hasn’t finished, and this human dare to walk away? Rage blinds him as he picks her off the floor, making her yelp as she faces his glowering look, eyes blazing. “Who told you, you can go? I’m not finished yet, human.”
Kristin felt tears coming out of her eyes. She gritted her teeth and held it in. Be strong! Don’t let the devil scare you!
Kristin glared back at him. “Put me back this instant, Morningstar.” she hisses his last name, making him growl. “I’ve learned my lesson not to touch your things. And if you try to make me stay to hear your scolding for hours, I’ll tell Diavolo it was you who didn’t warn me about the piano and put me in danger!” Kristin breaths in and out, trying to maintain her eyes on Lucifer’s.
Lucifer's eyes are still blazing with fire, face twisting in considering her threat. He sucked through his teeth and put the human back with magic.
“Ah!” Kristin yelps as she is put on the cold floor.
“Don’t go near my piano until I say so, human!” Lucifer warned the last time and turned on his heels. She can hear him grumbling over her.
Kristin glared at his back and sniffed, letting the tears soak through her sheep fur. She stays on the floor, staring at the piano in the music room. Oh, how she wishes it was just an ordinary piano.

Lucifer takes his work to the RAD Student Council room after school. He feels more focused on doing it here than in the HOL. The accident with the piano was just yesterday. The thought of it makes him shiver. If he were a few seconds late, she would’ve lost a hand. She’s only been in the program for a month. The human somehow was capable of finding herself in danger. Sleepwalking, Levi attacks, touching things that could get her killed.
Lucifer's forehead twitches as he reminds her of sheep face, threatening him by telling Diavolo it was his fault. His fault!? Diavolo of all demons! Lucifer threw his pen and leaned on his chair, a frustrated sigh from his mouth. He let his hand cover his eyes and rest.
How could a mere human tick me off like this? He wonders. A human with a sheep face nonetheless.
Lucifer stays like that for a minute when his ear perks up at a note playing on a piano. They play the key with a quick harmonic note. The one who's playing seems to be unsated. After a few notes play, a voice sings.
I don't feel a single thing
Have the pills done too much
Haven't caught up with my friends in weeks
And now we're outta touch…
Lucifer's eyes widened at the voice. It was Kristin’s. He quickly stood up from his chair and went to where the voice was. Her singing continues.
Do you ever get a little bit tired of life
Like you're not happy but you don't wanna die
Like you're hanging by a thread but you gotta survive
'Cause you gotta survive
He found her in the music room. Kristin had her back to him as she kept playing.
A little bit tired of tryin' to care when I don't
A little bit tired of quick repairs to cope
A little bit tired of sinkin'
There's water in my boat
I'm barely breathin'
Tryna stay afloat
So I got these quick repairs to cope
Guess I'm just broken and broke
Lucifer felt the magic of the piano. Taking a memory lane through the nights he was patrolling the house. He passed her room, and heard her gentle cries. The lyrics of the song continue. Describing her as the cold woman she is to everyone. When in the secret of her room, she is the most miserable woman in the house.
He watched as Kristin finished the song and slumped down on the piano. There was a numbness in his right chest, and he didn’t know where it came from—seeing how sad and miserable she was. The feeling was enough to disgust him. He turns his heels away from the music room, and back to work.
xxxxxxxxxx
Kristin felt refreshed after playing the piano this afternoon in the music room. She was lucky the music teacher was kind enough to let her play.
The teacher explained to her how pianos work in Devildom. “Piano in Devildom is very much different in the human world. When playing, the listener would imagine the person playing the song. Giving them an illusion of how the players are feeling. Its significant characteristic is that Devildoms pianos are made by desperate musicians.”
Kristin gulped at the information. “So-the teeth-?”
“Yes, they’re the teeth of those musicians.” The teacher continues. “They only bite the ones they think are talented. That is why you must have the piano owner soothe the piano first and let the other player play without risking losing their hand.”
Kristin feels a new guilt bug biting her shoulder. No wonder Lucifer was so mad at her for touching his piano. It wasn’t because of feeling ownership, though he does own it. He was concerned about her.
In a demonstration, the teacher gave a few strokes on the piano. The piano growls at the teacher's touch. Then the teacher asked for Kristin’s hand and slowly put it onto the piano. It was like introducing a wild dog owner to others.
“Now that it's been introduced, you may play the piano as much as you like.” the teacher said. “I'm letting you do this because I appreciate talents, and you have those, Miss Peerce.”
Kristin smiled, feeling giddy at the compliment. She does get praises from her church group. Never would she think of receiving it from a demon.
Kristin arrived at the porch house and opened the door to the HOL. She shrieked at Lucifer standing there in the foyer with his arms crossed.
He raises an eyebrow at her. “Why are you shrieking?”
Kristin clears her throat. “Sorry, I’m just surprised,” she mumbles and clears her throat again. “Excuse me.” Kristin was to pass him when he grabbed her by the arm. “Hey!”
“Come with me.” He orders and drags her away. Kristin tries to complain, but his grip is quite firm. They walk through the long hallway, and Kristin guesses they're going to the music room.
Is he going to scold me anyway? Kristin thought. He may have figured out Kristin isn’t capable of telling Diavolo about the accident, nor would she blame Lucifer for it. So maybe his gonna give her a scolding or two. Kristin sighs in defeat, and before they reach the room, Kristin blurts out.
“I’m sorry,” she said to Lucifer, making him stop and her crash to his back. Her face and body flush with his back. Instead of taking a step back, Kristin stayed still, frozen.
Oh God! I didn’t know a man’s back could be this wide!
Kristin snaps out of her daze when she feels his stare. “Agh! Sorry! Sorry!” Kristin yelps, taking a step back but not far enough as Lucifer still holds her arm.
“What are you sorry for?” Lucifer asked. “Why do you always use that word?”
He seemed upset. Kristin looks down. “I’m sorry about the piano, I didn’t ask anyone about it, nor knowing I need your permission to play it. I haven’t even said thank you for saving me.”
Lucifer stares at the human, no, the little lost sheep she is. Such a perfect description considering her other form. Such a poor lost lamb. Lucifer has never been as interested in lost lambs as she is. Looking at her delectable soul, shining every time she shows her strength, her kindness, it's all so…
Interesting.
“Then please indulge me in the next few minutes before dinner,” Lucifer said, pulling her away without listening to her answer.
They arrive at the music room. Lucifer still hasn’t let her go. Striding toward his piano, he began soothing the piano. “I assume the music teacher had told you how Devildom piano was made.”
Kristin nervously taps her foot with the other. “The teeth of the hopeless musician.”
“Do you know whose this was made?” Lucifer asked with an evil smile. She shivers, whether out of fright or the other.
She gulps. “No,”
Lucifer chuckled and said. “Daniel Steibelt.”
Kristin gasped, she wanted to close her mouth, but Lucifer held her right arm. When will he let go? “No way! That Steibelt?! The one who challenges Bethoveen only to be humiliated?!”
Lucifer laughs, making Kristin freeze on her feet. His laugh was so deep and free. It was the first time she had heard him laugh like that. Lucifer smiled. “So you’ve heard the man.”
“I’m interested in music history.” Kristin looks away, shily.
Lucifer humm, amused by her reaction. “Yes, that is what makes this piano so special. The man was full of pride that he thought he could defeat the greatest composer of the century. Only to tumble down in humiliation and loss of dignity.”
Kristin stared at Lucifer. He had this evil grin as he imagined the fall of the human being. Kristin shiver. She really needs to be careful around this demon.
“Did you make the man indulge his pride?” Kristin asked. Lucifer laughed again, it made her heart flutter.
“I never made any man indulge sin. They choose it on their own.” He answered. Then he pulls her to sit on the stool, gently putting her fingers on the keys. Kristin hesitated for a moment. The memory of the teeth came into her mind. Lucifer gave her a gentle squeeze. She let him guide her to a few keys and play a few notes.
After a moment, no teeth came out to get her. She plays it. Lucifer lets her go, letting her play the tune. She makes out the same tune she plays this evening with a gentle play. Lucifer doesn’t want to indulge, but it seems the emotion she put off playing the song was relieved. He looks at her smiling face.
After a few moments of playing, Lucifer asked her if she could sing. “Huh?” Kristin's gap, face turning red with shyness. “Um, I’m not quite good.”
Lucifer frowned at her lied. “Well, sing.” He orders.
“Huh?! What?!”
“I let you play my piano. At least you can do is play a song.” Lucifer showed his smug look at her while she glared. “Come on now. I’ll even let you sing any song you want.” He crosses his arms, waiting for her.
Kristin stared at him and sighed in defeat. “alright,” she licked her lips and start playing the tune on top of her head. The melody comes out like a lullaby, then she sings.
Lavender blue, dilly-dilly
Lavender green
When I am king, dilly dilly
You shall be queen
Who told you so, dilly dilly
who told you so?
'Twas my own heart, dilly dilly
That told me so
Her voice was so captivating. The tunes of the piano set its magic. taking Lucifer into Kristin’s fantasy world. Him and her, in the field of lavender like in her song. Kristin was there in her RAD uniform. She sings, holding a bouquet of lavender. He watches her hair flowing with the wind, the sun setting behind her, and she sings to him.
Lavender's green, dilly dilly
Lavender's blue
If you love me, dilly dilly
I will love you
THUMP
Lucifer grabs the right side of his uniform. What was that? In that part, it was like she confessed her love for him. Did she? Lucifer looks back at Kristin still playing the song. Her eyes closed as she continued the lyric. She sings as if she’s confessing, but not to him. But someone in her mind.
Thump, thump.
Why did his heartache? Lucifer quickly calms himself, then Kristin calls him.
“Well?” she asked.
“Ah, yes, it was,” Lucifer sputters and coughs. “You have a beautiful voice.” Kristin smiled and looked back at the piano. He was relieved she was more interested in the piano than him. If she had stared, she would’ve noticed the red color on his ears.
Fuck! Can it, Lucifer! Lucifer screams in his head. Kristin didn’t notice as she was busy with another song.
“There you two are!” The two turned to the voice and saw Satan at the door. “Dinner’s ready! Come on! I’m not waiting for you two!” He scowls and walks away.
Lucifer sighed, thank Diavolo Satan didn’t notice his flustered look. Kristin stood up from the stool, a smile on her face. “Shall we?” she asked Lucifer, offering her hand.
Lucifer stared at her hand and accepted. She helps him stand on his feet, and lets's go. He felt that numb bug again from his chest when she did. Lucifer clears his throat, trying to hold down those feelings.
“Thank you for letting me play the piano,” she said, smiling more brightly than the other fake smile she gave him.
Lucifer swallowed and replied. “You can play it whenever you want without getting harmed.”
Kristin nodded, and they walked together to the dining room. “Oh! Maybe next time, we can do a duet if you want to.”
Lucifer chuckled at the suggestion. “Maybe, but I’m not quite familiar with the human song.”
“Ah,” Kristin looks away in disappointment. Lucifer frowns at her reaction and thinks again.
“Maybe we could arrange a song if you can do a little duet I choose from Devildom,” Lucifer suggested, her eyes lit up again.
“I like that.”

Sleepwalking with Beelzebub
I had no excuse for being missing for a month. But here is my MC Kristin when she had sleepwalking with Beel reaction. This happen after lesson 6 after the tomb accident with Lucifer and Luke. Enjoy~
It was always their face he would remember. The face of his younger brother relieved from being caught by his big brother. Then horror as he realized the other one. His younger brother shouted to his ears, in denial at what he was witnessing.
Beel clenched tight to his younger brother, denied his request, and flew off. The younger brother turned at his big brother with a look of disbelief, disappointment, anger, and shame.
Beel gasps awake from his sleep. Eyes wide awake as he sets back into reality. That he is no longer in the Celestial Realm and the war. He is in his safe bed in Devildom. Beel breath in and out to calm his nerve. Then turned to the other side of the room. Expecting his younger brother asleep. Instead, he found a messy empty bed.
Beel holds his breath and remembers his younger brother in the human realm. Not in Devildom with him.
Right, the exchange program.
It has been four months since the exchange. Belphegor was one of the demons sent to the human world. And four months Beel hadn’t heard anything from Belphegor. Text and call have no response. Beel had a suspicion it must be because Belphie and Lucifer aren’t on good terms when he left. Not to mention Belphegor left without saying goodbye to any of the brothers.
Beel sighs and closes his eyes to sleep. His brain felt muddy with the thought something was missing from his room. but what? Beel opened his eyes.
Midnight snack.
Yep. Thats what missing. Beel reaches over under his bed and pulls bags of chips. Beel sat up, opens the chips, and stop.
There, at the door was the human exchange standing creepily still.
Right, the human.
“Kristin?” Beel called, but she didn’t respond. Then he heard her mumble. “Kristin, what’s wrong?” Beel asked in concern, he threw his legs off the bed and approached her.
The girl was standing still with her eyelids half closed. Kristin usually had glasses on her face. It concealed her blue clear eyes. Her hair was messy, but somehow it makes her more attractive and open than other times Kristin was cold or scared toward him.
Beel admired her for a moment when Kristin mumbled. At first, it was gibberish and something he couldn’t make out. Beel scratches the back of his head.
“Is this, the sleepwalk Lucifer mentioned?” Beel asked himself, waving a hand in front of her face. No response from the girl but more mumbles. Beel shrugged and put his hand on her shoulder, urging her to go back to bed. “Come now, Kristin.”
The girl turned at her shoulder to Beel, a bright smile and she mumbles. “Gavriel.”
Beel's eyes widen at the mention of her dead brother.
Two days ago, the girl had a rollercoaster ride in saving Beel and Luke from an angry Lucifer. Kristin had passed out from Lucifer's attack and woke up with Beel at her side.
Out of nowhere, Kristin offers Beel to help the family situation between Belphegor and Lucifer.
“You want my support, to help Belphegor and Lucifer?” Beel asked, Kristin nodded. Beel looked away in confusion, he asked again. “Why, why do you want to help?”
Kristin stays still on the bed, her head down. She breathes after a moment and tells him.
“I used to have a big brother, Gavriel.” Kristin shudders and exhale. “I-I ignore him, our family problem. That’s why he-.” Kristin stops, still not looking at Beel.
Beel stayed still, clenching his fist. “What-what happened?”
Kristin was quiet and shook her head. “I’m sorry, but I can’t tell,” she answered. “Let’s just say, this is my selfish wish to lighten the weight of my guilt about my family, by helping yours,” Kristin answered with eyes so helpless and empty. As if she is the worst person in the whole world.
Beel felt his heartthrob. She is so honest about this. Kristin didn’t reason she wanted to do this just because she has to. Because she can gain something out of it, and she is open about them. Beel gulp and thought about her offer.
Kristin felt his uneasiness and look away. “It's okay if you refuse. I’m very sorry for meddling-”
Beel stops her by grabbing her arms and gently squeezing them. He looks her in the eyes. “It's alright. I accept your offer, Kristin.” Beel gave her a wide smile. “From now on, you have my support.”
Kristin smiled back. Though he did not make a pact with her that day, he felt closer to her than ever.
Beel managed to put her back to bed, as he lifted the covers to her neck, she sighs in relief. Beel smiled. She must have been dreaming about her brother.
Instead of returning to bed, he stayed seated on the side of her bed, laying his head on the mattress while holding Kristin's hand. He used to do this to Belphegor whenever he had dreams of his sister. Good or bad dreams, he would always be there for his little brother.
He never thought of doing this to a human. Well, I guess Kristin is special. Beel thought with a smile and closed his eyes. He had good dreams of Belphie, Kristin, and himself.

Sleepwalk With Asmodeous
Tumblr media
Asmo grumbles as he walks back to his room. The avatar of Lust does not like waking up in the middle of the night. It's bad for his complexion.
Tonight are those rare nights Asmo had a bad dream. It is usually the dreams when he rebels against his Father. It had been a thousand years since he had one of those. Asmo wonders what could’ve triggered him.
He couldn’t go back to sleep, so Asmo went down the kitchen to get some tilberi milk. Mammon would’ve got the whole carton and finished it off by himself, or Beel in his midnight snacks. Luckily Asmo was able to get a half glass to drink it off.
Asmo took a turn when someone else passed by. “Hm?” Asmo hummed, eyes widened as he realized it was the exchange student. “Ehh? Kristin?!”
Asmo didn't get the human to stop and she kept walking. Asmo mumbled. “Heehh, so this is the sleepwalk everyones on about.” Asmo shrug. “Heh, not my problem. I’m going back to sleep.”
Asmo took a turn, going back to his room. Then he stopped. He remembers a week ago, when Satan was messing around with Kristin sleepwalking, Lucifer warned them.
“Anyone doesn’t do what I told you to do, I’ll curse you all to sleepwalk with the human!”
That was enough to bring shivers down Asmo’s spine. He can’t have Lucifer curse him to sleepwalk! He’ll ruin his beauty night routine! Then he’ll be ugly in the morning!
“Aghhh! Why me?!!” Asmo complains, turning around his heels back to the human. Asmo was able to find her passing over the common room.
“Human! Come back here!” Asmo ordered her, his feet thumping the floor with each step in anger. “I need my sleeping beauty and you are-!”
Asmo grabs her shoulder when it happens. An electricity shock through Asmo’s. It was powerful enough to make Asmo jump back, falling on his butt. Kristin snorted loudly, gasping, and looked around. She groans in frustration.
“Ugh!I did it again! When will this-!” Kristin stopped when she heard a mumble. She whirled around to Asmo on the floor. “Agh! You! Did you-!”
“I knew it!!!” Asmo shouts, making Kristin flinch and raise her hand protectively. The demon stood on his feet, pointing at her. “It was you! You make me!”
“I make you-what?!”
“You make me dream of Father! Just because of that stupid ugly accecories you’re wearing!” Asmo refers to her cross, Kristin puts her hand on it. She glared up at the demon.
“Well I wouldn’t be using it if I weren’t surrounded by demons!”
Asmo fumed and wanted nothing more than to kill the human. Maybe making her beg to his knees. That made him smirk. The human had already had her eyes on him. So Asmo made the work. “Oh little human, you have no idea what you make me do.”
Kristin's eyes widen as something in Asmo’s eyes. She felt his aura surrounding him towards her. Kristin holds her cross tightly, silently praying nothing happens.
It did. Asmo stopped what he was doing as it did nothing. Kristin trembles, taking deep breaths.
“It-its not working?!” Asmo yelled. In the past, he had two reactions from the human. Even if it's only a moment. Now it's completely blocked. Asmo eyes slit at Kristin’s hand holding the cross. “Could-could it be-!”
A hand grabs Asmo's shoulder. He turned around and gasped in surprise at Lucifer’s appearance. “Lu-Lucifer!” Asmo’s face went pale. “I-I didn’t! I was going to-!”
“It's alright, Asmo.” Lucifer grabs both of his shoulders. “Go back to sleep.” He pushed him, urging Asmo. Asmo nodded, glaring at the human and walked away with his head down.
Kristin scowls at Asmo. What is he so upset about? Then she notices Lucifer glares. “How many times do you intend to do this?” He asked.
Kristin's eyes widened, jaw hanging down. “What do you mean by that?! Do you think I want to do this?!”
“Well it doesn’t stop with me, is it?” Lucifer asked back. “This is the fifth time in two months!”
“And who is that to BLAME?!”
“Don’t you raise your voice on me, human.” Lucifer threatens, taking a step to her. Kristin crossed herself protectively.
Then something blocked her way. It was Mammon. “Lucifer, that’s enough.” He said calmly, raising his hands to Lucifer.
“Mammon.” Lucifer grumbles. “What are you doing here?”
“Wha-how could I sleep with Asmo yelling? I had to check what’s go’in on.” Mammon excused. “Come on now. It's late. Tomorrow is school day. Let’s talk about this tomorrow.”
Lucifer glared at Mammon, shaking his head. “Fine.”
“You’re a great brother, Lucifer!” Mammon exclaimed with a smile, Kristin frowned at him from behind. “Come on, human! back to your room!” Mammon led with Kristin following from behind.
Lucifer lets them and sighs. Then he notice something out of the corner of his eyes. Lucifer eyes widened as he saw Mammon’s hand holding hers.
Asmo threw himself to his bed. He held his breath to his pillows. Trying to contain his tears. Asmo didn’t thought the sight of that stupid cross was enough to make him dream of the war.
At that time, Asmo not only wants to protect his precious sister. He was being the angel his Father created to love. And to love his sister he did the rebellion. But he still lost his sister and the love of his Father.
Asmo shook his head. That was already a millenia ago. Why should he care that his Father seems to favor the human more than him? At the end of the day, his Father knows no love. Even when he creates Asmo to be loved no matter what.
At least, Lucifer understands. Asmo thought grateful for Lucifer to be there. Asmo closed his eyes, more grateful for the decision he made to follow Lucifer. And he will until the end of time.

Sleepwalking With Satan
Tumblr media
Satan sat on the couch of the living room with a book in his hand. The Devildom has already past midnight. Satan used to read throughout the night. But today was different from those nights. He is waiting for something.
Just as he turned a page, a soft footstep from the hallways. Ah, it's time, huh? Satan thought and looked at the clock, three a.m. Satan smirks at the clock. “So the Devil’s hour, heh?”
Satan got up from the couch to the hallway where the exchange student passed by. Kristin. In just two weeks, Lucifer had announced what a hassle the human is for tending to sleepwalk. His three big brothers had encountered it. Making Satan curious.
Satan followed her from behind, careful not to make any noise. He opens his notebook that wrote a few spells. Satan lifts his hand toward her.
“Demons of the night, I, Satan, Avatar of Wrath, reveal yourself into your true form!” A flash of green threw the human. She stops, Satan did as well. After a moment, nothing happened. “Huh? So, it's not a demon possessing you?” Satan taps his lips. But she stops moving, so-
Satan stop when Kristin moved, turning her head to her shoulder, her eyes glaring at him. “Ughhh-” she let a weird groan noise.
Instead of being worried, Satan's eyes lit up. “Oh! It is a demon!” Satan exclaimed and chuckled. “You better release the human before I do.” Satan smiled with his eyes closed, a purple aura surrounding him. “Hehe, I’ll even be merciful with you, of course after I gouge out your eyes and tongue. The rest of your body can be handled by Lucifer and Diavolo. I’m sure they’ll come up with something more fun-”
Kristin's body fell head onto the floor like a log. Satan stayed still, bewildered. “Fuck!” He came back to his senses and went to the human side, her face planted on the carpet floor. He checks her breathing steadily, going back to sleep.
“Damn it! I really wanna gauge some eyes out.” Satan mumbles, illuminating a green light from his palm to Kristin’s body. “No traces of a demon, so it's not a demon?” Satan asked himself, clicking his tongue.
The human snore, Satan decided the experiment for tonight is over. He lifts her bridal style and carries her to her room.
This human is a nag. Satan thought. Tonight hadn’t been successful. He was hoping to find what causes her to sleepwalk. Many entities could cause Kristin to sleepwalk. But it’ll need the correct spell to reveal what it is. Maybe it could be related to her brain. There is much research from the human world he had read about sleepwalking caused by their mental state.
But, she did respond with the first spell, did she? Satan asked himself and looked at the human in his hand. She’s still in a deep sleep even after she hit herself. Satan shrug and thought she’ll be fine. He put her back to her sleeping quarter and went out to get himself some sleep.
The next morning.
Satan, Asmodeus, and Beel have their breakfast in the dining room. Satan was reading a book, taking a sip of his coffee. Then the brothers stop what they're doing when shouting from the hallway.
“LUCIFER!!!” it was Mammon, he burst inside the dining room, in heavy pants, his uniform in mess. “O-OI! Somethings wrong with the human!” Mammon yelled, Satan drop his coffee.
The brothers went into Kristin's room. The girl is in her sheep form, sweating heavily, her fur was wet. Kristin whimpered in pain, beside her bed traces of vomit were being cleaned by the little D’s.
“When I got here to wake her up, she was vomiting to the floor,” Mammon explains. Asmodeus fan his face with a scrunched nose.
“Ugh, this is a hangover,” Asmo said and smirked. “Having fun last night, huh Kristin?”
Kristin groans. “I-I didn’t, drink, anything,”
Satan's forehead started to sweat. Kristin is having a hangover from his magic! The spell he performed last night must have been too much for a human who has never experienced magic. He needs to do something before-!
“What is going on?” Lucifer announces himself into the room.
Welp, I’m screwed. Satan thought.
Lucifer sits on the bed, staring down at her fatigue condition. Then lifts his finger to her forehead. A purple light from the tip of his finger, caused the sheep to whine and move her head away from his finger. Lucifer narrowed his eyes and slowly turned his head around, to Satan.
“Saaataaan!!!”
Satan clicked his tongue. “Dammit.”
Bonus:
As punishment, Satan was to take care of the human for the whole day until she gets better. Lucifer had put a curse on the house to make sure Satan was locked down inside
He did feel bad though. As he sat next to her bed, reading his book, Satan clicked his tongue. Tch! You, humans, are so weak!
By now Kristin had returned to her human form and was sleeping peacefully. She was sweating and Satan had to keep applying a cold cloth to her face. Satan squeezed a new cloth from the ice bucket. He gently applied it to her forehead. Kristin groans and mumbles.
“Gavriel,”
Satan stops with the cloth. “Huh?!”
Whose Gavriel?!
Tumblr media
I think Satan is a brat and would very much experiment on the exchange student for their first month together 🤣😭
I don't know if I capture Satan's personality right, he is one of the demon brothers I couldn't quite capture. Satanist, if you would give me a pointer and comment, it will be appreciated 😊🙏

Sleepwalk with Leviathan
Tumblr media
It was not strange for the avatar of Envy to stay up all night playing his games. Levi plays with his PSP from the bathtub, though in his pajamas, he has no attention to close his eyes. He mumbles as he plays.
“Come on! Come on! One more score, and I’ll be at the next level.” Levi fully concentrated on his game. When a thud from outside startled him, making him lose a score. “AHHH! No! I was almosss-!” Levi hiss like an angry snake, turning at the door with a glare. He got up from his bathtub and was about to scold whoever it was.
“Woi! How dare you-!” Levi stopped. On the other side of the hallway was Kristin. She is standing there very still, and her upper body has knocked on the table decoration. Levi then notices she is wearing an oversized sweater that only covers her upper body and up her thighs.
“AGHH!! What are you doing in the middle of the night wearing nothing?!” Levi covered his face with his hand, remembering the first day Kristin changed nude in his room. Levi waits for her to answer. But all he heard were labor breaths like sleeping.
Levi put his hand down, Kristin still standing like a ghost. Levi shivers down his spine. “Kris-Kristin?” He slowly approached her. His eyes widened as he saw her with half-lidded eyes, breathing slowly, unresponsive. “She-she’s sleeping!” Levi gasps, closing his mouth.
Ah! Lucifer and Mammon did mention Kristin sleepwalking! It was said in the family group chat that Kristin isn’t there. And their youngest brother. Levi shook his head. Lucifer had explained to his brothers if they ever encountered Kristin like this. Levi quickly turned back to his room and grabbed his D.D.D.
“Okay, there should be mention of how to handle sleepwalking,” Levi opens the chat and reads.
Do not wake the person sleepwalking.
Slowly guide the person sleepwalking back to their room, and help them back to sleep.
Levi lifts his eyebrow. “Huh, that isn’t so hard. Ugh! Still, I shouldn't be doing this.” Levi grumbled, annoyed. He turned his heel back to the hallway. “Really this human is such a-!” Levi stopped. The hallway was lacking the said human.
“Kri-Kristin?!” Levi shrieked, turning around the hallway, looking for the human. He heard her soft footsteps. “Hey! Human!!!” Levi sprinted into the hallway. Luckily he was able to catch Kristin turning into another hallway. “Ah! Kris-!” Levi turned to the hallway where the spiral stair was in front of them. “GAH!”
Kristin was approaching the stairs. Levi grabs the back of her sweater, enough to stop her. Levi breathes out.
“Okay, okay, just, slowly guide the person back to its bedroom.” Levi mumble. He remembered not to wake her up. The last time Mammon woke her up, she slapped him. Grabbing both her shoulder and carefully turned her away from the spiral stairs. She follows, and Levi sighs relief.
After a while, with a little push from her shoulder, Levi made it to the hallway to her room. Levi breaths out. “Hah…Just fifteen steps ahead, then I can go back playing.”
Levi may have lived in this house for millennia, though now he was feeling annoyed by the long hallways. Levi glanced at her sleepy face, still unresponsive. Levi huffed and thought he was only doing this for the last time she had to help him get his money back from Mammon.
This human is either braved or stupid to go against a demon like Mammon. She is more foolish to have this symptom of sleepwalking. If it were any other demon, she would’ve been gobbled up in her sleep.
Still, though, she did get this symptom when she arrived here. The Devildom is full of entities that could’ve affected her this way. Levi titled his head away in shame. He shouldn’t be feeling sympathy towards the human. She’s just another normie-
Levi didn't notice her foot tripping over the carpet. She fell forward. Levi shriek and catch her in the middle. He had his arms wrapped around her waist. Levi froze. Kristin wakes in a daze.
“Hngh?” Kristin wakes up in the hallway, feeling someone grabbing her. She shrieks. “KYAAA!!” Kristin used her shoulder to punch whoever it was behind her.
“UF!” Levi whimper and steps back, holding his shoulder.
“Huh?! How did I?! Did I-!” Kristin stuttered as she whirled around the hallway. She stops as she faces Levi, head down. “Leviathan?!” Kristin gasped, closed her mouth, and shook her head. “Oh no, did I sleepwalk again?” Levi nodded his head, not looking up. “Oh no, no, I’m, I’m really sorry, are you-” she stops when Levi mumbles something under his breath. “What? What was that?” she reaches for him. Levi lifts his head, all flustered and annoyed.
“Lock your door, human!” Levi scolded her. “This is why I hate normies! I’m out of here!!!” Levi turns away and runs back to his room. Leaving Kristin confused.
“Ugh, did I hit him too hard?”
Levi runs away, mumbling, embarrassed. For a moment, he had his first experience that would happen in shoujo manga. The male lead would catch the female lead in her fall, and they had those romantic moments where they questioned each other's feelings. But reality hits hard because it did hit his shoulder.
Levi went inside his room, slamming the door with his back. Breathing heavily, he stayed fixed on his door. Face flushed red, Levi closed his eyes as he remembered the small moment she was in his arms. The human was so small, and her waist so small. Kristin's scent was like vanilla. Like those sweet vanilla cakes from Madam Scream. So white and pure. The detail gets a little too much when he remembers his lips were closed to the skin on her neck.
“AGHHH!!!”
It seems tonight, Levi is not getting sleep at all. Nor even finish his games as he depresses in his bathtub.
Tumblr media
Levi is practically me, all depressed and overthinking.
I'm still working on the youngest brother, probably gonna take some time to post it

Sleep Walk
Mammon reaction with sleepwalking MC
Tumblr media
Mammon was getting himself milk that night. He took the whole carton box to his room when he saw a familiar figure in the hallway. She was looking rather weird.
“Yo! Kristin, what’che-”
Kristin passed by, not even a glance at the demon. Mammon blinks at the human, following her behind.
“Woi! Now you’re ignoring me?!” He asked her. Kristin didn’t respond. She’s walking in a straight line with a straight posture as if she’s a soldier. It almost creeped Mammon out. “Just cause I’m gonna bug ya all day to make a pact with me doesn’t mean-!”
Mammon stops when they arrive at their destination, well, her destination. The spiral staircase! Lucifer would’ve come out with his whip or something. Panic, Mammon grabs the human and lifts her bridal style.
Kristin was still dazed as Mammon ran. He went to his room, slamming the door closed with his back. Mammon sighs in relief for a moment.
“KYAAAA!!!” Kristin shouts and struggles in his arms, slapping him.
“HEY! HEY! Stop it! We-!!!” Mammon lost his balance. Mammon was still grabbing onto Kristin as he fell back into his back, Kristin on top of him.
“AAAH!!!” Kristin still shouting, scrambled away from Mammon’s hold. She hurried back until she hit on the pool table. “Ouw!” the hit in the head was enough to get her out of her sleep. Kristin groans in pain.
“Aghh! What is wrong with you?!” Mammon sat up, rubbing his back. He hears her breathing hard, whimpering, but not in pain. Mammon's eyes widen as he recognizes her reaction. It was the same moment when his brothers fell from the Celestial Realm. His little brothers, especially the youngest, entrap in their memory of the war.
He slowly reaches for her, careful not to frighten her further. “Hey, Kristin,” He whispered to the human. Kristin flinches at his voice, and he stops. Putting his hand in the air. “Hey, come on, it's Mammon, the great Mammon.”
It brings a chuckle from the human, and she lifts her head. Her eyes were swelling with fresh tears. “Really?” Kristin asked.
Mammon shrug. “Of course! Who else is greater than the Great Mammon!” He swelled his chest with a confident look that made Kristin chuckle again. She relaxed. Mammon gave her a moment to breathe in the present. Then he asked her. “What, what did ya do back then?” Kristin looks up to him. “I thought you weren’t interested in the stair again?”
Kristin sigh. “I never did. I guess I was sleepwalking again.”
“Heh, so you weren’t lying.”
Kristin slaps his shoulder. “Of course not!”
“Ouch! yeah! Yeah! You weren’t!” Mammon huffs his cheek. “Does this happen often?”
“When I was little, but as I grow up, I grow out of it. At least until I came here.” Kristin explains, throwing a breath. She stands up. “Thank you, but next time you see me sleepwalk, just pull me back to my room and try not to wake me. I’ll get panicked as I did.” she walked to the doors when Mammon put his hand on them. Kristin looks up at him with a furrowed eyebrow. “Wha-”
“Sleep with me.” Mammon orders. Kristin twitches and grabs the door handle. Mammon held them before she could run. “Oi! Wait! Wait!!”
“LET GO!!”
“That’s not what I meant!” Mammon groans. “Just sleep in my bed, and I’ll sleep on the couch! Just to keep ya safe! Okay!”
Kristin glared at him, trying to read his motive. Mammon stared at her back. His mouth is frowning in disappointment. Kristin sigh. Once Mammon had a thought, he wouldn’t let go until he got it his way.
“Fine, but if you take a closed step to the bed, I will scream.”
“Geez, human, I’m a demon of greed, not lust,” Mammon complain.
“You’re still a demon,” Kristin mumbled back. Kristin then takes a look around his bedroom. He had two floors? Is that a car in a bedroom?! This room is like those fancy rich penthouses in the human world. Kristin sighs. He is so materialistic.
When Mammon showed her his bed, Kristin trips down the stairs to his bed.
“There's a stair to a bed?!”
“Hey! These are ebony woods! Why ya gotta be so clumsy?” Mammon scolds and clicks his tongue. Kristin glared back. He took a blanket and a pillow to sleep on the couch, and Kristin took the bed. She flopped down the mattress with a relieved sigh. Goodness, even the bed is much softer and fluffy than her bed. She looks down on her feet to the couch, where Mammon is getting comfortable on the couch. Kristin smiled. Despite the night's event, Mammon was a good guardian.
“Good night Mammon,”
“Night, Kristin.”
Kristin closed her eyes and agreed to Mammon, at least for tonight. He is the great Mammon.
Tumblr media
I think any Mammon stan would agree that, yes, Mammon is the best of all demon brothers 😊🤭

Sleep Walk
This is a headcanon for my MC, who is a goody two shoes and afraid to break the rules while she’s in the first exchange program. That includes not going near the spiral stair where it goes to the attic where Belphegor was captive. How would the older brothers react to Kristin sleepwalking?
This series will be devided from the eldest to the youngest.
So, how would Lucifer react?
Tumblr media
Kristin had a dream. She thought it was. She saw a city in the sky. It was on fire. She saw people (if they are) fighting in a great battle. It all happened too fast as she saw three people. An arrow was shot. One person caught the other. They hit the other. They fell and fell so high. The person hit the ground so hard she could hear the crack of its bones.
Then it went black, pitch black. Kristin can hear her heavy deep breaths.
"... help. Please help me."
"Help me get out of here."
Kristin wields control and opens her eyes. She tries to make it out of her surroundings. Kristin feels the cold atmosphere of the old house of lamentation. Two cold hands on her shoulder. She panicked, throwing her hands to her left side where the person was standing. Her sight is still blinded by the sleepiness and alertness of her body.
The person yelled at her. “Hey!"
Kristin's heart was racing, and she missed her step, making her fall back to the walls. The person grabs her, and Kristin struggles, throwing her hands at the person. She screamed when he caught her wrist, his voice calling her with concern.
"Kristin!!!"
Kristin gasps as she regains her consciousness. Then, she regains sight as she makes out the person's face. Lucifer.
"uh, what?"
Kristin whirled around the room, shivering at the end of the other hallway were spiral stairs heading upstairs. Lucifer grabs her chin and tilts her head to look at him.
“Hey! Hey! Breath! Breath.” Lucifer orders, then he demonstrates taking a deep breath and letting it go. Kristin follows with her eyes closed. Her head was fuzzy by the lack of oxygen. After a moment, she calms down. Her head bowed, taking deep breaths. Kristin's eyes widen. Her nightgown was a little low to above her hips. Kristin yelps, taking her hand back and crossing it on her chest.
Then she felt the same warmth and the spice smell from Lucifer's jacket draped over her. She looked up at Lucifer, his whole expression changing from concern to the same un-expression look he had only shared. Even to his brothers.
"come." He said. "Let's go back to your room." He lay his hand flat on Kristin's back and pushed her. She gasps at his touch but lets him. A whisper, enough to turn her head to her shoulder. To the spiral stairs.
Kristin turned at Lucifer and asked. "What's in there? Up the stairs?"
Lucifer didn't answer, giving her a slight glare. He looked away and answered. "nothing for you to worry about."
Kristin frowned at his response. He's hiding something.
They arrive at her room. Lucifer lifted his hand to take his jacket back, and Kristin retreated her hand with the coat. She narrowed her eyes at him. "what. It's. In.up.those.stairs." she asked as if she was talking to a little child who didn't understand.
Lucifer's eyes widen, shocked by her stupid bravery. His eyes changed into something dark, and he chuckled. "You are quite a busybody, are you, Kristin?"
Kristin crosses her arms, glaring at the demon. "Something is upstairs, whispering words of help to me!" Lucifer stops breathing, glowering at the human. Kristin shivers under his stare, but she stands on her ground. "And I! just had a sleepwalk! I have never had that since I was ten! I…!" Lucifer held up his hand, stopping her ramble.
"That is why I stop you from going up there. It's dangerous. Now, I will make sure what's there to stop its whisper. You'll be safe afterward." He roughly took back his jacket and showed his business smile.
Kristin's shoulder didn't drop in relief. Somehow she knew he was lying. But he wouldn't tell her the truth either. She nods her head. "Alright, thank you," she turned back to her room, stopping and saying to her shoulder. "Good night, Lucifer," she closed the door slowly.
There was no reply from him. Kristin throws her hand and makes sure to lock her door. In case whatever ghost from the upstairs start making her sleepwalk again. Then she tossed herself onto the bed.
Tumblr media
I had finished Mammon part so I'll be able to post it later
