Fav MK1 character was immediately Li Mei. I fell in love w/ her character because of one of her brutalities, I thought it was so cool. She will always be my favorite even though I’m playing other characters now since I already finished her character mastery/character level

Tysm for all the love!! I never thought my little dumb posts would get traction. At first it was just a dump of doodles I started board and wanting to let go of perfections. Now this page has become sorta a therapy for me to just let go of the perfectionist in me. Art is merely a hobby and ik I’m not that great at it. And that’s okay! My philosophy I’ve adopted because of this account is to not get hung up on every single imperfection or mistake. It will ultimately make you discouraged. You’re creating something! That’s cool beyond belief that you are taking your thoughts and making it real through art, writing, whatever. And if it’s making you happy, that’s all that matters (in my opinion)

Didn’t do much of comics since I was busy this weekend, but I did draw up these boys in diff aesthetics

Kung Lao is in 2000’s street wear type of clothing, Rain has an alternative/goth sorta look, and idk what Tomas’ style is called I just typed “Techcore” into Pinterest lol (all of them could be totally different aesthetic vibes and I just didn’t know so apologies 🙏)

All aesthetics were what I thought they would kinda fit into :)

Frost was always interesting to me in MK11 and her whole small story ik about. Villains or characters that want to be nothing but perfection and hurts themselves/others to do so, have always been smth I liked. My interpretation of Frost is a little more than what’s given and what ik. The pressure and desire for perfection and the fear of failure will/can be her downfall

I also want to comment that ik my art isn’t that good beyond stills, but that’s what Messy Doodles is all about to me. Being okay with the slight imperfections because truly no matter the mistakes I saw while making this I’m happy cause I’ve never really done a big ass comic in awhile/ever.
