I mean, the dice are loaded, the deck has been counted, the system rigged, the odds forever in their favour yet still we push on. I was once told to keep going because I have survived 100% of my worst days. All those days that I felt I couldn’t go on but I did. And I still do, in the face of it all I still try to move forward. Some times I may end up taking a few steps back but my general trajectory is up, hopefully beyond what I see now as the sky and its limits. So here’s to all the wasters, the chancers and the down and outs, my people, the band who stay on deck as the ship goes down.

Anxiety sucks, it’s like oh yeah I’ve got all these worries about my life, the potential outbreak of world war 3, prion miss-folding, vacuum decay wiping us all out, some other unknown but equally terrifying world ender, and now of all things I have to worry about the world supply of helium running out. The stuff that makes your voice sound funny is essential for all sorts of things apparently…great.
