But yeah, this was a little story I had worked on the last couple of days, of something I wanted to write for a few reasons. One reason being that I really just wanted to write a story again, and because I need to get back into writing my novel, I felt writing something small would help get my writing motivation and juices flowing again. The other reason, and the subject of this particular story, was so I could finally write something to showcase Brooke's bond with Shannon! :3 I first shared Shannon over a year ago, and it has always been an idea in the back of my mind to write something for them. Since Shannon is Brooke's closest friend(aside from his older sister), I wanted to write something that showcased the deep understanding and trust that they share with only each other.

Though it is not explicitly stated and only implied in the story, this takes place when they are 16 years old, several months before the "Confession" story. This particular story idea has been one playing in my head a lot, of Brooke finally confessing his feelings for a guy to his best friend. Brooke and Shannon's friendship is one of my top favorites in my story/universe, as it is so special and important not just to me as the writer, but also for their characters. With how judging and traditional-minded their kingdom of Mareas is, neither thought growing up that they could make genuine friends that they could be completely honest with. It is not until they are in their early teens do they meet and connect, but there was always something comforting about the other for them. Especially during their early teen years, where life sucks and they are all hormonal and moody, it was so nice for them to have someone they considered a real friend. They did briefly date for about a month at one point out of social pressure, but that period gave them so much to learn about not just their own selves, but also the other and allowed them to become closer friends. They have opened about so much to each other; their insecurities, struggles with their mental health, problems fitting into their society and living up to everyone’s expectations, and so much more that they don’t always feel comfortable sharing with other people. One of these things was their sexualities(Brooke being gay, and Shannon being ace), as they both felt a relief when they found out the other was not straight since it not only helped explain why their brief relationship didn’t work out, but also because they now had someone to relate to in that area and feel safe talking about that part of themselves with.

Kind of brief on the subject of mental health, since this story focuses on Brooke more I also wanted to take this story as another chance to explore his. He has both depression and anxiety, and while his mental health has always fluctuated between being good/okay and bad, it was especially bad during his teen years. While he was never really bullied or harassed, he still had a lot of trauma from his childhood caused by his parents, and dealt with people either not understanding or not trying to understand him, but dismissing his struggles as attention-seeking or trouble-making. It also doesn't help that there are parts of himself that many people would talk down on, so he usually puts on a more happy facade to deter people from seeing the darker parts of himself. While it is not stated as much in the story, Shannon has had similar struggles in her life and also has depression. She has some anxiety but not to the extent of Brooke's, but it was her who felt brave enough to speak up first and start these conversations with each other.

The vibe is kind of all-over the place with this one(I also just wrote as words came to me, so this hasn't been edited much), but I wanted something that both focused more on the mental health side, while adding in some of the playfulness Brooke and Shannon has as best friends(while also exploring more of why Brooke likes Nate, since I focused a little more on why Nate likes Brooke in the "Confession" story). I know this description is a lot lol, but I wanted to explain things a little bit more and I hope you enjoy reading the story! <3

*When you end up unexpectedly writing the longest story you've ever written, but it's okay because it's about your OTP*

After finishing this previous Confession story for Nate/Brooke I knew I wanted to write more for them, and this time write something for their current/present-day relationship! While there are many different prompts I could have gone with, I ultimately decided to do something for their most recent anniversary! :3

As it has been stated a few times throughout this story, this takes place during the vacation trip they planned for their fifth anniversary. As this is their most recent anniversary this story also takes place some months before the main events of the novel, so it is a fairly recent event and will be brought up again through some dialogue points in the novel. As that also implies, they are 22(soon to turn 23) and 21(turning 22 in a couple of months) during this story. There were a lot of small scenes I thought about including in this, but I felt they didn't add much or showcase more of their relationship, so I didn't include those but I still included all of my other little ideas and details throughout. Also took this as an opportunity to write about Brooke's glasses, since he does have pretty bad eyesight out of the water but prefers wearing contacts most of the time.

But back to the main point of this story, this is their unofficial engagement! ^w^ This previous post I made a while ago goes into more detail and includes an actual visual for their rings too, but I wanted to incorporate a lot of those details for this story. Being together for as long as they have, even if they know it's not possible at the moment both of them know that they wanted to marry each other if they could. In the weeks leading up to their vacation, they both went undercover to pick out a ring for each other, keeping their proposal plans a secret from the other. As their options were limited they had to pick out rings from their respective countries for the other, but they also serve as more of a reminder of their relationship and commitment to each other~

For the first time in a long time, I wrote one of my standard-length stories in only 4 days instead of several months lol

Buuut yeah, this is another story for my novel that I have been meaning to write, featuring a younger Nate/Brooke~ :3 I have technically written about them before, in small ficlets, small moments in different stories, or brief mentions, but I have never written one of my longer/usual-length stories for them. Which is a real shame considering how much I love these two and how much I think about them, but well, better late than never!

As the title suggests, this is their confession, and what starts their secret relationship! With a brief sibling interaction between Nate and Tia at the beginning. I've had numerous different ideas about how I thought it would go, but this story idea has been the main one I was thinking about recently. Although it is not specifically stated in the story above(though kind of implied with Tia's age being mentioned), Nate and Brooke are 17(soon to turn 18) and 16(about to turn 17 in a couple of months) respectfully. So multiple years prior to where they currently are in their relationship. As they are still so young at this point, there is a lot more fear and nervousness as this is the first time either one is really navigating a relationship or getting the chance to explore and express their sexuality(if only with each other), but their feelings for each other make everything worth it to them. Then of course, they grow up and get more into their comfortable dynamic with each other lol

((Oh, and not super important in this story but the "Picante Theater" that Tia and Nate talk a little bit about is the name for the theater in Mareas that shows more "risque" productions or anything that has material not really accepted by the traditionalist society. It's where Meredith and Adrien like having some of their dates(and Brooke likes going there too), and it is popular enough that Talia and her crew from Arian have performed at a couple of times! Just wanted to share that little bit of info. :3))

This was a story I originally started over 9 months ago, that I finally got to finishing up last week. My first "mature"" story, featuring Maya/Iris from @thelostrainbowthenovel~ As this is my first time writing something like this, it was a little awkward and admittedly difficult at times to try and write properly, but ultimately I am happy to have taken the plunge and explored something new with my writing style. This is only the first of the more explicit/nsfw pieces I will make, as I have some ideas for a few more stories like this with other ships of mine, but those will probably not come out for a long time still as I have other, sfw pieces I am currently working on.

A little something I wrote on a whim(so apologies if it’s not the best quality), for Mother’s Day which recently passed. I was in the mood to write something cute of one of my mother characters with their children, and though she was not my initial pick(as I was original thinking of writing for Soleil) I settled on Demeter, the mother of Gaia, Avani, and Beaumont! :3

I chose her both because I wanted to write something for the Erdennian royals again, but also because Gaia is a Taurus, and since Mother’s Day falls during that timeframe I could make it where she is born on that day, thus making it an extra special day for Demeter.^^ One small, extra note is that here she and Enki are referred to simply as “partners”. Even though they are still super young they feel like it’s a bit “juvenile” to still refer to themselves as girlfriend & boyfriend, so even if they are not married yet nor even officially engaged, they refer to the other as their partner as they are still in a serious and committed relationship with each other and plan to stay together.

Just felt like sharing that! But yeah, I hope you guys enjoy, and happy belated Mother’s Day, everyone! <3

A story from December 2020, of an AU for two of my Winx Club next-gen characters, Everest(son of Krystal/Roy) and Orion(son of Stella/Brandon). This story explore the idea of instead of them keeping their romance a secret from others(being from rival schools), what if they kept their jobs as spies(from rival spy groups) from each other instead. They are both aged up to their early-twenties here(both are originally 15) too, since I felt it was needed for the direction I had in mind for this story.

A story from March 2020 of a few of my old MHA next-gen characters. Mainly featuring Satoshi(son of Kaminari/Jirou) as he is on his way back to his dorm after class, before he is stopped by Junko(daughter of Mineta/Toga),who wants to ask him to hang out with her on the weekend. He refuses(both due to not really liking her and already being taken), and heads back to his room to relax. Cut to the next day when he is at lunch with his two closest friends, Akio(son of Kirishima/Ashido) and Kumo(son of Sero), who both notice him upset and inquire as to why that is.

A story from May 2019, for the old PPG next-gen AU I had. Mainly focusing on Jay(son of Robin/Mike) and Benny(son of Mitch/Bunny) at first, as they are working on their respective college assignments together. Benny notices his friend seems distracted, before finding out it is because he was thinking of his crush, Brea(daughter of Butch/Bubbles). Fast forward later when Jay is at home, he founds out that Ava(his sister) invited a friend, Betty(youngest child of Butch/Bubbles), over, with Brea tagging along too. Jay is surprise at this, but he tries his best to maintain his composure.

This is a story from February 2019, for my character Winnie from @thethreemages. This was to serve as a little intro to her character, as it follows the titular three mages as they make a quick stop for snacks at the Igall’s Convenience Store before continuing their journey. Winnie is working the counter that day, and is a bit taken aback upon seeing these girls again, specifically her old friend/roommate, Tula.

This is another story I might rewrite someday, especially as I have made a lot of updates to Winnie’s character since then, not to mention all the new lore and updated info for the titular trio themselves.
