I thought about the way you'd think of me every night when you'd turn the lamp off. I instantly grabbed it. It was only 4.56 after tax, But God damn the teddy bear has had my world on pause til I could give it to you. You'll never know but I bought you a teddy bear.

When I look up into the dark, midnight sky, I see dozens of shimmery, shining stars. Those stars have me thinking back to that night in your bed when the room was only dimly lit by the bedside lamp. When I roll over your hands cling to my hips like a magnet, my eyes drift along your shoulder, to your chin, to those eyes. Those beautiful light blue pools twinkling and twisting into my memory. That's when I knew I loved you and I'll remember this night til I'm standing in front of a crowd reading you my vows.

I'm holding my breath. No, I'm not underwater, and no, I don't have the hiccups. I'm holding that breath in deep. I'm swallowing as much as I can, I'm taking it all in before you take it away from me. You leave me breathless. When you walk away the oxygen will be stripped from my lungs, you'll suffocate me.
