About a year ago, I posted my thoughts on Luka knowing Marinette was Ladybug -- only to see his reaction when he actually does find out. o.o

Watching through the ml series again -

Is it just me but does anyone else feel like Luka knows that Marinette is Ladybug? Like I don't think he realizes that Adrien is Chat Noir but I just... The way Luka talks to Marionette and Ladybug, the way he looks at the both of them. He seems to know in my opinion, but he doesn't tell anyone, even her for her safety.

I don't know maybe I am looking into it way too much. 🤔

Oh no

So - I’ve been watching s4 to the best of my abilities - because I can’t stay away from spoilers so I try to keep as updated on it as I can myself despite the hard work going into trying to watch it ;; 

I have got to say - this season is so intense and got so much angst in it just from the beginning - and it’s filling my muse to write some fanfictions again.  So---- hopefully you all will be excited to see them, and if I ever hone my drawing skills, I may make them into comics

Okay, so I am rewatching Miraculous Shanghai, and I am curious about something. We know that Gabriel bought the bracelet that was stolen from Fei, and any person who knows how to piece things together would figure that the girl was talking about the bracelet with the thing to the cave.

So when Fei says that her bracelet was as precious to her as Marinette’s earrings (and Gabriel knowing Marinette) wouldn’t he be curious as to what she means by that?

Gabriel does know that Ladybug’s miraculous is earrings, so knowing that and the fact that Marinette is from Paris, I would be curious as to what kind of earrings Marinette had if I was trying to get Ladybug’s miraculous.

I don’t know, maybe I am looking too much into this. 🤔

Maybe me already knowing Marinette is Ladybug and knowing these things it’s obvious, but as an adult and as smart as he is, you’d think he’d piece things together.

it wouldnt line up with alice in wonderland 100% BUT LIKE: PLAGG IS THE CHESHIRE CAT, MARINETTE IS THE MAD HATTER because she’s wack and half of what she says to adrien in the actual show sounds like a riddle already and also she makes hats and stuff, ADRIEN STUMBLES UPON THIS WORLD AND LEARNS THE REAL MEANING OF FRIENDSHIP and love ;) THAT HE DIDNT LEARN FROM HIS TRASHBAG DAD

No Secret

The night was booming with thunder, and the sounds of a battle between Ladybug, Chat Noir and a man who was akumatized earlier that evening, as rain poured down. Everyone could tell that Hwak Moth was only growing stronger so the battles were becoming longer to restore Paris back to normal and save the akumatized Parisans. 

Luka Couffaine had known for a while now that the girl he was in love with was the savoir of Paris, but has chosen not to tell anyone including her, as he knew he would be risking her safety. Tonight, however, he was worried about the girl. She was just a teenager, and she was staying up all night saving Paris and of course she was with her trusty partner, Chat Noir, but Luka could guess he was just around the same age as Marinette. 

When the battle was going on for over an hour, he had made his way to the bakery and ask her parents if he could help her with some homework, of course her parents unaware that she wasn't even there allowed him inside and up to her room. Sitting out on the balcony, he watched the fight go on, making sure that Ladybug and her partner were safe. Of course, without hid miraculous there wasn't much he could do other than hope everything would be alright and the battle would end soon. 

It was about another hour and a half later when Luka seen Ladybug call on her lucky charm, Chat Noir with his cataclysm and the battle wad over. Lady bug used her finishing move, and Luka decided then that he should probably move to her room. That way when she came back she wouldn't have to deny her identity. 

It wasn't long before the girl was coming back into her room, talking to what Luka could only assume was her kwami. and it was only a matter of seconds before Marinette let out a startled scream. "Luka!?" She put her hand pver her heart letting out a soft breath attempting to calm herself down. "What are you doing here?" 

Luka gave her a soft smile before apologizing. "Sorry, Marinette. I know your identity is supposed to remain secret, but that battle looked tough and even worse with the storm." He began. "Your parents think I am helping you with some homework. So don't worry, I didn't tell them anything." Luka stated. He was worried about what Marinette's reaction was gonna be, but he thought it was better to be honest with her, rather than come up with a lie. 

"Wha- what do you mean?" She shook her hands and rubbed the back of her head. "I am not Ladybug! No way!" Marinette's awkward and shy self was coming out. Which only gave more reason for Luka to know he was right about his accusation. 

"You don't have to lie, Marinette. I've known for a while now." He stated. "I even knew… when I was akumatized. I don't remember much of what happened but I know I hated fighting you. I didn't say anything to Hwak Moth because I know how much danger you could be in." He was a bit embarresed to admit it and even bring up the time he was akumatized. 

Marinette stared at him in disbelief, she didn't know how he would have figured it out. "I didn't transform in front of you did I?!" She began to freak out. "I- how did you find out? You can't know my identity Luka. If you know my identity, then.." She began to ramble on, thinking of all the possibilities that could happen.

"Marinette! Calm down!" Tikki flew out of her bag in frony of her. It was then that Marinette stopped pacing back and forth and stopped talking. "Its too late to do anything about it now. We can't erase his memory." 

"I shouldn't have told you I knew. I'm sorry." He said standing up, getting ready to leave. 

"No!" She said putting a hand on his chest, looking up into his eyes. She felt a little wave of relief at that moment. There was no one else in the world other than Master Fu and Tikki who knew Marinette's alternatr identity. Someone she could talk to, and be honest with. It was almost refreshing. "Don't go." She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a hug. "I am sorry for freaking out on you. I just thought I did a better job at hidding my identity."

"You were great, I just figured it out easily because I know the look in your eyes. I love you, Marinette." He whispered. "You don't have to hide it from me anymore. I promise I won't do anything to harm you." 

"Thank you, Luka." She pulled away and looked up at him once again. A wave of happiness overcomed her and she couldn't help but to stand on her tiptoes and pull him in for a kiss. A soft sweet and gentle kiss. 

The sound of a throat clearing, startled the two causing them both to pull away from each other.

"Dad!" She jumped back even further. "I- i was just… thanking him for helping me with my homework." 

"Mmhmm. That was some thanks." He said chuckling. "Well its getting late. I think its time Luka went home." He stated. "Do you have a ride or would you like me to call you a cab?" He asked looking at the male whl was just as flustered as his daughter. 

"I-i have a ride home, sir. Thank you for the offer, tho0ugh." 

It was only 30 mins later that Marinette was walking Luka out the door and saying bye to him. Mr. Dupain watching them with adoration in his eyes. "Can you believe it Sabine?!" He was excited. "Marinette's got a boyfriend!"

NY special spoilers!!!

After the NY special, I see a lot of people saying everywhere on social media that Adrien is dating Kagami. I just wanted to clearify that Adrien is not dating Kagami. If they were dating, it would’ve been broadcasted on the news — like in Chat Blanc when Adrien was dating Marinette. Everyone would’ve known, especially Nino and Marinette. Adrien surely would’ve told them if he was dating Kagami. If Adrien and Kagami were dating, why would Alya and Nino hitch up a plan to bring Marinette and Adrien closer together so Marinette can confess her feelings to Adrien? Let’s not forget that Adrien also rejected Kagami when she was about to kiss him. In the NY special, Kagami kissed Adrien somewhere close to his nose (which is weird in my opinion and it made me very uncomfortable). She didn’t kissed him on the lips.

I don’t know why, I just wanted to put it out there.

Forgotten Lovers pt. 1

Plot: Adrienette's rendezvous in NY had lead Luka and Kagami to each other

A/n: this is kinda short but I hope you all like it! There will be more parts coming soon!

Upon the return of the class trip to New York there was some tension in the air between Kagami and Adrien. Even though the two had never been official Kagami had made it very clear that she was in love with Adrien, and she wanted to be with him. Adrien, who was unsure of his feelings for anyone wanted to make sure that he could be fully committed emotionally and physically to someone before going exclusive. The trip that Adrien hadn't expected to go on with his class had given the male so much clarity. He had founding himself craving the attention of one person and one person only, so the entire trip he had spent with her, Marionette.

It was during this trip after realizing that Adrien had completely drifted away from Kagami, and she knew there was nothing she could do anything about it. Heartbroken, the girl had skipped fencing practice to take a walk around the city to clear her mind. She had unknowingly followed the sound of the soft strumming on a guitar.

Kagami saw Marionette walking away from a male with blue tips in his hair, someone she recognized.

"Oh, I didn't see you there Kagami." Luka had stopped playing the guitar when he saw the female standing in front of her.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt your playing." Kagami bowed lightly before turning to walk away. She was quickly stopped by a hand on her wrist.

"You don't have to leave. Take a seat." Luka said letting go of her hand before he patted the empty spot next to him.

Reluctantly, Kagami took a seat, crossing her hands in her lap. It was a moment of silence between the two before the female decided to speak up. "I assume things between you and Marinette are over?" She asked, her eyes fixated on the ground.

"Yeah, she told me her feelings for Adrien weren't going away." Luka continued strumming the guitar as he glanced over at Kagami. "Are you alright? I know you grew to be close to Adrien." He had finally stopped strumming the guitar, setting it gently on the wall beside them.

"Adrien was the first friend my mom let me have. And although Marionette is also my friend I feel like she was always getting in the way." She had stated, she wasn't exactly sure why she was letting all of this out so easily. It was the first time her and Luka had actually spent any time together that wasn't with others. Luka's calm nature seemed to have affects on Kagami, and she continued to pour her heart out about how she was hurt from the betrayal of her two friends.

"Well fencing practice is almost over." She cleared her throat and stood up off the bench. "I better head back to the school before my mom realizes I skipped out." She bowed again to Luka before he stood up.

"Let me walk with you." Luka gave the girl a soft smile. Once again, Kagami wanted to refuse the offer at first, but she couldn't deny that she enjoyed his company. They were noth betrayed by their friends and somehow Luka had seemed like everything was still okay. He was calm and carefree, the opposite of Kagami. She was always serious and straightforward, so having the male around her was quite nice.

Upon arriving at the school, she looked at Luka and smiled. "Thanks for walking with me. My mother won't like it if she sees a guy like you hanging around me though so I will have to part ways with you here." This time she didn't bow but instead she gave him a small wave and a soft smile.

"Take this before you go." He handed her a piece of paper. "In case you need to get things off your chest in the future." He nodded lightly before waving back, and turned to walk away. "I'll see you around Kagami."
